Guys tell me, picking France Draw no Bet with 2 BTC Bet is right choice?

If you have 2 BTC to spare that way give them out to us.
That's a crazy bet in my opinion. Also because I think France is going to lose the game.

This opportunity for Portugal is too damn high.

So UK courts allowing hearing of legal blocking attempt of Brexit, and S&P 500 rallies to a new ATH in the midst of the worst global recession in history?

Yeah, the global market crash, the BIG ONE, is getting closer.

Eliminate your outstanding debts and buy more bitcoin.

Some German and Italian banks going bankrupt because of market Brexit panic could start the BIG ONE. Once bail ins start it will be too late to buy more Bitcoin because buying a whole one will be too expensive for most.

BTC is already out of league for most of the people. If we think about one btc at $650 is unaffordable for tha majority of the people out there.

I'm here because I bought in $220 which was already a lot IMHO.

A higher BTC price will make it an elite thing

Go on Ronaldo!
You could become a legend beating France playing home. I mean they play home but they are not as strong as they seem.

I think Portugal could win this European championship and I'm going to bet on it.

Good luck Ronnie
4024  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: July 08, 2016, 04:49:03 PM
Let's not be hypocrites: I would probably want that one BTC is one BTC but unfortunately like most of you there are bills to be paid and other things which I have to buy in fiat currency and that's when I think of BTC price value.
It's, right now, inevitable for me.
4025  Economy / Economics / Re: How good are you at managing your money on: July 08, 2016, 06:26:39 AM
Let's say that managing in & out funds well is the first golden rule. Not to spend more than one's have is the first step.
Then planning a budget is also useful.
Next step is to set up goals, like saving $ 50 this week, $ 75 the next one.

I mean then it really depends upon anyone's circumstances but this is a pretty good start IMHO

Bitfury's very good source: their whitepapers are so much interesting.

Regarding Flare, if it'll keep the promise and if it'll be developed as described, well Bitcoin has a very long life full of success ahead

going a bit up again this morning. halving is very close.

$600 held: now is time to see what the price will be on the very first blocks of the 12.5 bitcoin reward era

That's what matters to me, nothing else
4028  Economy / Speculation / Re: There is an epic shakeout coming this year before the giga-spike. on: July 07, 2016, 06:05:06 PM
The stock market is for kids, bitcoin is for hard rockers: with this price movement only people with good nerves and a strong heart could handle this trading.

Interesting times ahead: I still hope for the moon soon
4029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN/DISCUSSION] Silk Network: Silk, DarkSilk and Weaver on: July 07, 2016, 05:50:56 PM
If I remember the old story the 4 million Silkcoin wallet belongs to Mintpal, the dead exchange. Anyone remembers the same? It was somewhere in the old thread

Hmm, i don't remember mintpal but checking the old thread i found this

"My advice.. wait for the 9 million mintpal coins to be dumped through bittrex as they steadily have been...  Let them delist us.  Don't give the mintpal scammers any more money unless its tail end of delisting and price is dirt cheap.  End of story."

If i remember correctly the original dev had his account on mintpal too ?

Anyways this should be a reminder NEVER let your assets on a public website, even though poloniex seems very strong, don't store amounts that you cant afford to lose, its an exchange not a savings account.

Besides if you store your silk on a device you own (while having a couple backups ofcourse) is the best alternative, it's safer, it adds up to your account via stacking, it makes the network stronger.

Whatever the amount was well, it's gone now.

Yes, I think those 4 million SILK are gone forever they were in Mintpal's belly.
Such a waste actually: it's a big portion of the whole silk supply

Not good for those still believing in bitcoin. It has clearly collapsed and will continue to do so based on these confirmed datas.

LOL Look who's back, a voice from the past.

Speaking as one with the wisdom of the ages, I assure you.

confirmed, bitcoin is going dao-wn.

Bitcoin is going DAO  Grin Grin Grin

Thanks for making me smile during this very annoyaing way down.
I hope is only some "shake the weak hands" thing and that this dump will stop soon.

Bad thing to be a miner if this is the trend!

Thanks a lot for this.
Peerblock works just fine with your lists.
This thread should be a sticky one  Wink

I hate night dumps. My morning coffee becomes even more bitter like this. Halving is approaching and I've never been so uncertain about Bitcoin future.
Can't grasp what's going on.  Roll Eyes

4034  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-07-07] McKinsey Report Weighs Blockchain Impact on Insurance Industry on: July 07, 2016, 06:30:17 AM
The blockchain hype goes on  Cool

Will Blockchain Technology Replace Traditional Business Models?

Blockchain technology has become one of the hottest trending topics within the computer world in the last couple years. The public has primarily come in contact with blockchains through the use of bitcoins, but there’s more to blockchains than cryptocurrency....

I was expecting more from an IBM article. Not much really from the guys of Bluemix. I tried their permissioned blockchain which works fine but come on gives more sausages.

Tax evasion has always been around, way before bitcoin. I don't get why so much fuss around it. Bitcoin is hard enough not to be bent by these idiotics and useless policies' attempts

My pick is a correct score for Portugal - Wales
1-1 and then extra times
It doesn't pay much but I think this will be the score after 90 minutes
4038  Economy / Speculation / Re: Eerily calm days before the halving on: July 06, 2016, 06:07:17 PM
Yes, it is too calm even if trading is taking place.
Not sure about what will happen and the latest weekends have been very frenzy in terms of price movements.
The halving happens on a weekend.

Hold till you can.
4039  Economy / Speculation / Re: Save, Invest, Wait, Profit on: July 06, 2016, 06:03:34 PM
I mean very nice the saving part and automatic bitcoin rebuy. But this article assumes that BTC value will grow constantly which does not happpen as showed.
I could live on beans, rice and cereals but I think $20 a week is not enough.
4040  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 06, 2016, 06:38:04 AM
there's a storm coming which is called halving. Something is going to happen, I don't believe this trading volume will happen much longer

Yes, but it may not storm immediately. The day of the first halving was uneventful. It took a few months for the real action to start.

I'm sure by the year's end we'll see the effects of the second halving.

Jimbo I would disagree on this since it's a big change this time compared to the last halving. Miners will see their conditions changing from one day to the other. Today you get 25 tomorrow you'll get 12.5

That's why I think there could be some changes in the short term and one, of course, is a pump
