4021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China might really be out of Bitcoin and the cryptospace on: July 17, 2021, 08:59:48 PM
You know the sad thing is.... it spilled over to Japan now. Japan was one of the first countries that accepted Bitcoin as a "Currency" and now they are busy creating their own "digital currency" and they suddenly established a committee to investigate the impact that "Stable" coins has on their economy.

This is becoming a trend in governments now.... they decide to create their own "GovCoins" and then Bitcoin is suddenly the enemy that are damaging their economy.  Roll Eyes
4022  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Unstoppable Wallet on: July 17, 2021, 05:17:00 PM
Why did you call this ==> "Unstoppable wallet"?

Are you saying all other centralized wallets are stoppable? Running it through Tor might sound more secure, if it was not for all the "exit nodes" that are being hosted by law enforcement authorities?

Well, it looks good.... and having the source code out there.... help to give it more credibility. (I hate these wallets with proprietary source code)  Wink
4023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC exist without Fiat? on: July 17, 2021, 04:02:37 PM
Can I barter 20 chicken eggs for a hair cut ...or 50 eggs for a 9kg bag of Dog food? You can basically use anything without Fiat currencies, if the Banks stop issuing it.  Wink   What did people use before governments started with their toilet paper money?.... People bartered for goods and services and some people used scarce items like Sea shells and large stoned with holes carved into it.  Wink

The last 300+ centuries, people lived with Fiat currencies.. but they still bartered with goods and services..it was just not the "standard" payment method.. because the governments forced people to use Fiat currencies. (because they manipulated the value and they tracked payments with unique serial numbers on notes)  Wink
4024  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Million Dollar Race II - UFC Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: July 17, 2021, 11:45:25 AM
Now I am speaking to the higher level players from Stake now..... (Platinum and up) .... Did your win percentage drop when you leveled up to higher levels? I can remember lots of $100+ wins on $0.10 and $0.20 and $0.25 bets when I was Non VIP to Silver.... but since I reached Gold and Platinum... I hardly ever see any $100+ wins...? ((The Fire is Gone))

Is this just my imagination .... or do you have the same experience? (Some of my friends are still Bronze and Silver and they regularly send me brag screen grabs of their $100+ wins....)  Sad

Stake is still a awesome site, but I am just worried that my VIP upgrades will reduce my winning Huh

4025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin completes value transmission, how to perfectly avoid criminal ? on: July 17, 2021, 08:51:43 AM
The way to reduce criminal actions in the Bitcoin community, will be to "self police" the activities done with Crypto currencies. If you see a possible crime.. report it to the authorities. Some "White hat" hackers are doing things like this already by just applying their knowledge and tipping off the authorities, when they spot a crime.

A lot of scams are doing the rounds.... just report them to the regulatory financial authorities and leave it to them to resolve it. DO NOT take the law into your own hands.. just observe and report it.  Wink

Every scam or crime reported with Crypto currencies, will reduce the amount of people participating in these crimes and it will send out a strong message to the "wannabe" criminals out there that the community will not tolerate it.  Wink
4026  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: I made a site that lets you share your story & inspire other blockchain actors on: July 16, 2021, 07:49:27 PM
I think you should not have limited your possibilities with this project to just people that are invested in DeFi projects. I would have chosen a open ended "domain" that would cover more projects. (Example : CryptoStories.*** or CryptoJourneys.com etc...)

I love to read about people's success stories, because it motivates me to do more and to take more risks. (I was one of those people, who got into Crypto early and I did not go full out..... and I will always regret that)  Sad
4027  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid lessons learned know when to finish on: July 16, 2021, 06:03:47 PM
Your advice sounds like someone saying..... "Make sure you pull out, before you climax... " to prevent pregnancy.  Roll Eyes   No, my friend... Covid is the most toxic thing that ever happened to our generation and the only thing it taught us.. was not to trust humankind with any kind of virus. (They will turn it into a Bio weapon and governments will use a pandemic as an excuse to infringe on your rights)

If everyone used the Covid epidemic as a "exit" plan, then commerce would collapse .... economies would fail and more people will die of hunger and starvation.  Tongue
4028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the quintessence of all human knowledge gathered together. on: July 16, 2021, 03:45:38 PM
You know, some people say.... "You do not need to know how something work... to be able to use it" .... I say, Fck that!..... I have a inquisitive mind and I am always curious to know how things work. Bitcoin to me in the beginning....total Mind fck!... I absorbed information about it like a sponge! (I could not get enough of it.... it was like a drug... and I became a junkie)

Things work so much better when you figured out how it works on the inside.... Now you can troubleshoot.. improve.. give help to other people and you feel like the expert in the field. (Well, until the others catch up)  Cheesy
4029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you gambling to make money or just for fun? on: July 16, 2021, 12:33:44 PM
Hey.... 99% of those people that says... I gamble for fun... are full of shit. All of us are gambling and hating it most of the time, because the majority are losing money. The thing is.... 99%+ of us are hoping that we are one of those that are winning BIG and that is where the FUN is... but very little people ever get that chance.  Wink

I gamble, because I want to win BIG and when I win BIG... I will have tons of FUN!...... Let's dream big guys and grind out that BIG win. One day.. it will be me....  Cool Roll Eyes
4030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Better than "GOLD" for criminals, BTC is easier to steal; Easier to scam; on: July 16, 2021, 06:57:03 AM
Wow... the stupidity of some of these shills (Goldbugs) are seriously funny.

OP, have you ever heard about ......"Metal detectors " ..... those devices that can detect Gold or any other metal? Also, while that Gold is hidden under ground, it is useless. (....or are you going to dig it up, every time you want to buy something.. Grin Grin Grin)

Also, Gold is not practical.....  If you want to make online transactions, you have to sell some Gold coins or Gold bars and then transfer that money to a Bank account and then make online transactions.  Roll Eyes

Bitcoin can be stored on laminated paper / carved in Stainless Steel .... or even on a Gold bar... if you wanted to do that. (I can store say.... $100 000 000 worth of Bitcoin on a piece of paper.... where are you going to hide that amount in Gold?)  Roll Eyes

Ps... The NSA do not print money.  Cheesy
4031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many mainstream economists always oppose Bitcoin? on: July 15, 2021, 03:09:47 PM
The old school FIAT system has to protect their economic hold over people, so they keep with the old school education. Sheep will go where the "sheep dogs" will guide them..... Why? ....because they fear the dogs. These old school economist fear their peers and also the government and Banks that tells them what to do.  Roll Eyes

Also, the old Fiat Stock markets and trading platforms are the playground of the rich and the educated.... they have to protect that advantage and the "fees" that they charge for financial advice. (Brokers)

Now suddenly uneducated people are trading Crypto currencies without intermediaries and broker fees and "special" knowledge and those people hate that.  Wink
4032  Economy / Gambling / Re: BK8 - Biggest and Most Trusted Brand. Asia's #1 Crypto online casino BTC & USDT on: July 15, 2021, 12:15:18 PM
So these casinos fall under the license of Curacao, so I presume the countries prohibited under that license are not allowed at this casino too? I see several countries that are prohibited under the Curacao license, that are not listed under OP's post. (Example : USA)  Huh

Is this the "Biggest and Most Trusted Brand" in Asia or globally, because I have never even heard of these casinos? I also saw countries like Germany and France being blocked by other popular casinos... (Bitcasino.io and Stake.com) ... is this the same with these casinos?
4033  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto lead to the next financial crisis? on: July 15, 2021, 07:59:32 AM
Looking at the past financial crises that happened, they all seem to have a few things in common, such as the mass adoption of a new financial product or technology (e.g. mortgage backed securities in 2008, dotcom boom in 2000). Given the extent to which institutions (and some influential figures) have been manipulating crypto recently, do you guys think this narrative is likely?

The past economic crisis was due to the wrongful and unethical actions of our Banking system and not something new that was introduced. The Fractional reserve banking practices that these Banks implemented was reckless and it caused a near financial collapse of the global economy.  Angry

Bitcoin was developed as an alternative by Satoshi Nakamoto to reduce the control that these centralized Banks had over the global economy and people's wealth. The definition of Crypto currencies as a "Commodity" by the different governments, was an attempt to protect Fiat currencies and Banks and this is directly impacting the difference that Crypto currencies could have made on solving the problems created by the governments and the Banks.  Angry

-snip-
Come one stake!

I hope we can get a "Monthly bonus" in the middle of this month just like you did last month ~XD If you share on four weeks this month, gonna be long ride even just ned 7-10 days left for that.

Guys, there are 30 to 31 days in a Month and Stake normally pay out the Monthly towards the middle of the month.. so it is expected that they will pay it out on or after the 15th of every month.

You will see a link in the email, that will take you to this page ==> https://news.stake.com/how-do-monthly-bonuses-work/  ..explaining a bit more about the Monthly and how it works.

I want to highlight this :

7. When will my monthly bonus arrive?

This is something we like to keep a secret.   Grin

I think for obvious reasons, Stake cannot have fixed dates for the Monthly... because a lot of work has to be done to prepare that and if they are late.. people will spam the Support and the mods and Eddie.  Roll Eyes
4035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future money! on: July 15, 2021, 05:44:38 AM
There is this general misconception that Bitcoin has to replace all Fiat currencies and that Satoshi Nakamoto created this technology to replace Fiat currencies. This is wrong, Satoshi Nakamoto created a "Alternative" currency for people to have a second option or an alternative option to the current Fiat system.

He gave us the freedom to choose what currency we want to use, giving us the option to rather use Bitcoin ..if the Fiat system has flaws that Bitcoin solved. (Things like avoiding centralized control over our wealth or the misuse of power and even corrupt Banking practices)  Wink
4036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sexy casinos on: July 14, 2021, 08:22:37 PM
I have always wanted to see topless hosts for CrazyTime and other Live games or even just sexy lingerie ...but they will never allow that. Why can they not host a "Adults Only" section for the people who are into some XxX stuff...?

The popular sites that I visited only have fully clothed hosts with some sexy dresses, but that is about it.. the other stuff is too hardcore (Live cams) for my taste.  Roll Eyes    ........ https://www.ph.casino/
4037  Economy / Economics / Re: Green European funds may deal a blow to Tesla on: July 14, 2021, 07:13:46 PM
I think some people think Elon Musk became a Billionaire because he is stupid... Roll Eyes  The guy obviously planned for other countries to go full electrical in the future and he diversified his companies to absorb knocks like that. He is into space exploration (SpaceX) and infrastructure and tunnel construction services (The Boring Company) - (Underground public transportation systems for Vehicles / Utilities / Freight and Pedestrians)

He also developed the "Powerwall" storage battery that runs with his Solar solutions and he is also into low latency, broadband internet systems (Starlink) ....so this is not going to disrupt his empire!
4038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Past two months bitcoin journey on: July 14, 2021, 04:46:54 PM
As long as you are eating healthy and putting some money aside to invest in Bitcoin.. then I will be happy with your strategy. I know a lot of people dropped some bad habit like smoking and they invested that into Bitcoin ..and that is truly commendable. Fast food is also a bad habit and it is expensive too....

There is nothing wrong with some cheaper home made food... so why should we have to dump thousand of Dollars into unhealthy fast food.  Huh  Will you be editing and updating this thread or will you be creating a new thread?
4039  Economy / Gambling / Re: best bitcoin casino that allow USA players or accepted use of VPN ! on: July 14, 2021, 03:49:58 PM
I do not know of a lot of Casinos that actually accepts USA players, but I saw this ==> https://www.onlineunitedstatescasinos.com/casino-deposits/bitcoin/ so I think you should give them at try.

The USA have a lot of Fiat online casinos that are now accepting Crypto currencies, but you have to jump through a lot of KYC/AML verification to join there. My sister has two kids working in the USA and they just gamble at Stake.com via a VPN and they just play with Crypto currencies there.  Wink

I will really like to see a thread where "Winners" of the big prizes like those mentioned above ....can announce those wins, like they are doing with the big wins on the "Free Spins" ....because this has been running for months now and nobody are reporting large wins anywhere on this forum.

Now I know, the standard excuse is that many of the winners are not on this forum, but the same email that are send to the winners on the big "Free Spin" wins to reward them something extra to report it on this forum.. can be send for the winners of these big prizes.

We need some proof that there are actually people winning something bigger that 50 Satoshi.  Roll Eyes
