4021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting functioning project not on Ethereum and ICOs on: November 10, 2017, 12:04:18 AM
Heat, and Siacoin had their own wallets as well.

Why do you care specifically about this type of coin though, if I may ask?

Siacoin I know.
I need this project because it will be (maybe) some good project. At least they did their own soft!

So can anybody help me with my question?
I see, that makes sense. Better than all the people who keep buying up shitty ERC20 tokens that have no use case or anything of their own to contribute to crypto or society.

Seconding Cardano by the way. I'm not sure how accurate this information is, but it seems like it's working on being used widely in Japan. Might want to read into that.

Not all of erc20 token was including on the useless token, Maybe some still not give anything to the users, but eidoo has own wallet and that's different with another erc20 token project. The wallet already downloaded over 120k times.
that means a lot of people are interested in it. that based on the mobile application that gives the more possibility to be adopted by all of the people around the world. caused by the smartphone as an alternative for us to keep our activity on the internet or even crypto exchange.
But, What your intention to advertise erc20 token project?  Roll Eyes
Your English makes it quite difficult for me to make out what you mean. Are you trying to imply something? Because your words don't really match my post whatsoever.

I didn't advertise any ERC20 and I actually spoke out against the bulk of them, which are just money grabs.

Your last line makes it seem like you've gotten the opposite intention from my post though.

I can send you my personal tax bills. I doubt that bots get taxed by the sate, or at least not the way I get taxed. But I can't show you my tits, I'm sorry Smiley
Why not? I'm sure Jesus would have.
4023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto to buy now? on: November 10, 2017, 12:00:35 AM
the point is, its not really huge. But its a quite "safe" gamble in quite a short time.
And the potential upwards is insanely big also.

Better than a x10 that lasts for 1 hour and than dumps back. Check out the graph...no matter what happened it always was insanely stable!
SONM is similarly safe and won't x10 for "just 1 hour". Compare to Golem's chart to get an idea of what will happen. And SONM has greater potential than Golem too, for many reasons, so it's not unlikely that it will perform better.
4024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 09, 2017, 11:59:16 PM
I have often noticed that the Ethereum is artificially held at $ 300, and most likely it is already worth 500-600 dollars in the potential, and after the second stage of the hardfork it can fly to $ 1000.
I don't think it's artificially held anywhere. You seem to be forgetting that Ethereum gets dumped in order to fund ICO projects once the ICOs are over, so that negates most of the buy power of Ethereum. It's meant as an investing token after all.
4025  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next 5 year for Bitcoin on: November 09, 2017, 11:57:50 PM
most likely the rise of bitcoin in the next 5 years will probably increase by 60% because this factor covers the development of the world economy as well, so it would be better if we all HODL bitcoin right now
It will almost certainly climb much more than just 60% in the next 5 years if Bitcoin doesn't get replaced, which is not likely. In 2023 we should easily see 50-150k per Bitcoin. I'm more interested in a small amount of altcoins though. There are quite a few that without a doubt will last for many years.
4026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 09, 2017, 11:56:18 PM
October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

I am not surprised by the movement of Bitcoin's price right now. On the contrary, I would be really surprised if it would not make a good upward movement since there was initially a very anticipated hard fork happening. But since it did not happen, there will be an expected dip of Bitcoin's price. That will not surprise me either because the momentum is interrupted a little. But it will resume in a short while since another fork is expected in December.
I'm just curious how hard the dip will be. If a lot of the newer investors didn't know about or didn't invest in altcoins, Bitcoin might remain relatively stable or even keep climbing.
4027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES | Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform | unofficial supporters topic on: November 09, 2017, 11:54:44 PM
Has anyone received the BCHs that they were going to distribute today? or has the distribution been suspended for those who have WCT?

I received the BCH, however it looks like only 100 instead of 1000 were distributed?
Projected, it seems that 1% WCT received 1 BCH, not 10.
I don't know how many WCT you have, but maybe you hold so few WCT that you are getting rounding errors?
4028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - HODL? on: November 09, 2017, 11:23:55 PM
The Ledger wallet supports Ark, so I believe Ark will be valued in the long term. I keep it in my wallet.

The best way to go.  Mine is also in my Ledger Nano S and staked...making more ARK Smiley
Wait, is Ark staking automatically? I don't remember getting stakes when I last checked several months ago. Is that something new or did I forget to set something up?
You need to choose your delegate and vote (1 ARK which some delegate returns-heard maybe less now).  Been this way as far as I can remember.

Use this.   http://calculator.reconnico.com/
Enter your ARK qty (public address not needed) then calculate.

You will see which delegate is best for you after.  Study it well before committing...it is a pain to switch.
Thanks for the warning, I would've just gone with the second otherwise because of the 100% payout. Will double check to make sure and decide later.
4029  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can Humans achieve Immortality? on: November 09, 2017, 11:02:12 PM
Back then in 2005 I came across a Newspaper article by World's Renowned Futurist Raymond Kurzweil Titled Singularity is Near" .  The article listed the most chilling predictions made by Raymond. The one that got me the most was the prediction about human achieving Immortality by 2050 or something(not very sure) .     Since then I became interested in the science of Immortality until few years ago when a shocking event forced me lose interest in humanity and i became more aligned with Spirituality.

I was going through a website and found an article titled: Scientists Have Mathematical Proof That It's Impossible to Stop Ageing https://sciencealert.com/cancer-versus-aging-cells-eternal-youth-mathematical-impossibility
I did a Google search to confirm the authenticity of the contents and found similar article on a credible site: Sorry, You Can't Stop Aging – Here's the Math to Prove It https://www.livescience.com/60825-aging-is-inevitable-according-to-math.html
I have my doubts though when it comes to doubting what humans can achieve... I believe nothing is impossible to humans and the word "NEVER"  isn't in the dictionary of those determined to succeed.

My only doubt however is if humanity could survive another 3 decades to be able to find a cure for ageing.
Read the article more carefully. The "you can't stop aging" line is meant asymptotically. It doesn't mean that you can't lower the rate at which humans age. So with this paper it's still very well possible to reduce the rate of aging to a point where it's virtually non-existant for humans.

And that's not even taking into account exchanging body parts or even swapping into a digital existence.

So yes, it's very well possible that humans would be capable of extending their lifetime indefinitely.

But, immortality is a whole different story. You can be capable of living forever, but your body could still be destroyed if someone really wanted to do that.
4030  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to deal with stress? on: November 09, 2017, 10:59:09 PM
If you're regularly stressed analyze your own life and check what causes that stress. Normally stress is a reaction that is supposed to signal you that you are doing something wrong in your life.

If it's just short-term stress, which is fine and healthy, just close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. That'll reset your central nervous system, calm you down and increase focus. One minute of that is enough to get back to work, studying, or practice if you just need a break too.

4032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: November 09, 2017, 10:38:27 PM
DOGE is on the rise - the price has hit 20 sat on poloneix =)

It's between 19-20. Can it last?
During the incoming altcoin bull market, probably for a bit, yes.

Does anybody knows where can i buy one of those nice t-shirts about doge in NASCAR?, i hope someday we will get that media atention again...
No idea sorry, hopefully someone else can answer! (Quoted you to keep it visible).
4033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - HODL? on: November 09, 2017, 10:37:32 PM

Totally agree with this !!
However, I do not know what price could reach ARK in a few months ... $ 5, $ 10? More ? less?
but for sure, I Hold  Wink
Nobody really knows this, but it seems like a coin that could find itself in the top ten eventually.
4034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: November 09, 2017, 10:35:39 PM
This is really good news for SONM. I have read complaints about so many ICO projects that stored Ether on Parity and are being in trouble now. Rule number 1, never trust an external wallet provider, instead use a local wallet, better a hardware or paper wallet. The behaviour of such ICOs is pretty careless in my humble opinion.
Very true. Thankfully every ICO that I've picked so far turned out not to be foolish enough to use third party services for storing their funds though. Which just makes me glad that I've put so much effort into analyzing them before making an investment.
4035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto to buy now? on: November 09, 2017, 10:26:00 PM
I can only advise ardor. it may have pumped already (like 99% of all the alts) but before end of 2017 it will atleast 3x when the Mainnet launches!
Mark my words...this is gonna be HUGE!

So don't miss out on it!
3x isn't really huge in crypto. Tongue

And SONM seems like it could raise much sharper in the same time frame. Always good to diversify though, so might as well pick up both.
4036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 09, 2017, 10:24:12 PM
To tell you I am surprised at BTC price is to say nothing. I am shocked! It seems this cryptocurrency has been conquering the whole world. Today it is about $7300 and it is growing further. Soon more and more people will deal with BTC as the most convenient and profitable virtual currency.
And this is just the beginning can you imagine the price of bitcoin in the next 10 years, the price is going to be so high that people are going to wonder why did they not invested in bitcoin before but by then it will be too late and we will bee the few ones that are going to be able to get huge profits out of that growth in the price of bitcoin.
I wouldn't be too sure about that. Bitcoin is and always has been a very risky investment. And the crypto market moves extremely quickly. There are a lot of things that could stunt the future growth of Bitcoin, so always be on the edge.
4037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 09, 2017, 10:22:40 PM
What are the latest news regarding the Parity debacle? Will there be a fork or not?
4038  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin better than stocks, real-estate? on: November 09, 2017, 08:57:54 PM
Bitcoin has outperform every others investment assets since last year and we expect this to continue tell the end of this year. I could still remember that February this year bitcoin price is below $800 but as at today the price is above $7000 and there is no any trading assets that has performed like that. Real estate cannot be compared to bitcoin performance including any knowing stocks and security in 2017.
That's true, but Bitcoin has also outperformed every other asset in terms of risk level as well.

Investing isn't all about the size of the profits, it's about a careful balance of profits and not losing your money.
4039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin. 2017 will be $ 1 in December. on: November 09, 2017, 08:53:28 PM
People saying this is a shit coin will cry by the end of the year. Sure I think $1 is a little high but 0.5$ is not strange and could very likely happen.

It's funny how people on this forum just shout their shit as facts. Perhaps read up on a coin before spouting your nonsense.

With a circulating supply of 111,853,152,884 coins, to hit $.5 the market cap would have to be $55,926,576,422.  Do you in your wildest dreams think Doge can climb all the way up the Coinmarketcap list and beat Ethereum for the number two spot?

For me, even 300 sat is wild speculation - However, I suspect we'll see price over 100 again in the next 6-12 months...
I could see ~100 sat again too, but 300 is a bit too much with the new Bitcoin value.
