4021  Economy / Economics / Re: Thoughts on the World War 3 and its possible impacts on future? on: January 23, 2020, 08:13:16 PM

war being more complex and complicated could be true. is it just me seeing the war could just be bio like the ones happening in China right now which they have quarantine the whole city?

its one of the most horrendous war but as far as i know there are weapons like this.  not any of the country wants to look antagonist for they'd lose an ally when that happen but making it look like its virus' fault kind of something else.
4022  Economy / Speculation / Re: Start buying on: January 23, 2020, 07:22:31 PM

i read your post about Backbone analogy for BTC current & future price movements"  on: January 18, 2020, 03:52:27 AM , you says below 8 thousand or 8 thousand, but the bitcoin price still not bellow 8k in this month, and you says you buy at $7,9k? when you buy it?
The price is falling. There is a chance that could drop below 8k. Will see.

I placed some orders (8,3k 8,2k 8k & 7,9k). If the price hits them, then it automatically buys BTC.

I'm not sure if I answer your question.

the current price isn't the bottom in the daily timeframe. i don't know why you'd pick these prices yet its too early to say its going to go up right as early as today. i'd wait til mondayy before buying back. there is a thread that says buying on monday could be the more profitable day for BTC investor. i'd take that advice for now. unless you scalp real good for 1-2 hour, you can buy now and sell after hours of seeing its going to be drop again.

It could happen but I'm not going to take the risk of waiting, times are very sensible. The train could decide to start at anytime now. This price is good considering the forecast for 2020, 2021. Its better to have 1 bird in the hand that 1 thousand flying. I'll buy this dip & have some reserve cash in case it goes lower.

the forecast is very positive. i would actually buy to prepare for the 2020-21 but since i'm don't have a deep pocket like you.  i'd just calculate where could the bottom be and where to sell to accumulate. as long as the satoshi counts increases little by little, its still a profit for me. look at the price now, it bounces already. if it chooses to go up quickly to reach 9k today i'd miss the train.

4024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: January 22, 2020, 09:04:07 PM
I am still here despite all the many losses and fall in my portfolio because of the new things I am learning daily about Cryptocurrency and blockchain, I don't look much any longer at the monetary reward because it sometimes dashes the hope.
Finally someone over here who is not into crypto currencies for monetary reward. But are you really into crypto currency for the technology and not for the monetary reward? If you see most of the replies in this thread, you will notice most of them joined the crypto market, just because they can make "money" with it. Most of them joined because of those faucets that gave away free coin. You will find less people here who claims that they are involved with crypto currency because of how advanced this monetary technology is.

the time of 2010 where the need for more developers to join the action in volunteering all for the blockchain development is almost over. you can only believe those men who says they are here for the development and not interested to monetary gain if they submit projects or scripts that can be build on top of a blockchain technology without asking for a team to help him develop a token for it.

i do believe there are tons of these people in crypto and i do hope that guy is one of them. i have to admit i'm not one of them but i'm involve in marketing blockchain projects.
4025  Economy / Economics / Re: Thoughts on the World War 3 and its possible impacts on future? on: January 22, 2020, 07:38:13 PM
Also, I am quite surprised that many of you think, another world war cannot happen. US has invested in Military and weaponry more than anyone else, why do you think that is the case? Why do you think North Korea has so many nuclear weapons? Its not for NOTHING, I will tell you that much.

To impose their will on others.

Previous world wars took place in a world where commerce between countries was vastly more basic and vastly less intertwined. Now world war would not be good business. That's why it'll never happen again.

Lots of toy wars will take place instead.

it may happen but will probably depend which battleground, they can easily attack if the battleground is in middle east after all the US have done it many times before. it will have a war since Iran got support from China and Russia but if they aren't in the picture, it will just be an invasion and that's not new anymore.

none of these powerful countries will allow to be the battleground of course but sure they can shoot each other right where they are. China however has the advantage since they already had built their surroundings. i think they already control the air in southeast.
4026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading candle stick reading, anyone? on: January 22, 2020, 06:48:13 PM

its hard to learn it. indicators are always going to be used to confirm where exactly the trend may go. so while they notice where the candle sticks open and when it closes, its always going to be accompanied by the indicators they knew well. the ones who learned it are from the old markets which they can even speculate by the price action. these are the guys who crunches candles sticks all the time in the morning, afternoon and even while they sleeps.  try going to babypips.com forum because its where those people are.

4027  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the general issues/problems do traders or investors usually face during on: January 22, 2020, 05:33:02 PM
there are many problems faced by traders, investment certainly can not be separated from the risks, every trader has a different problem, for example the absence of a complete indicator, the presence of fake volume, and many other problems, but the most common problem is risk management, mental psychology too scared or too greedy.

What do you mean by "the absence of a complete indicator"?

probably the indicator he learned while he was in forex market isn't very much useful here in crypto.  there were several exchange projects that i was hoping they can allow us to install an exchange program but there weren't any of it that did this.

i'm positive that some forex brokers will one day add BTC on their Metatrader which indicators in that program are complete for anyone to use. this is one of the issues we face to day
4028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What about WAVES? No one talks about it anymore! on: January 22, 2020, 04:06:57 PM
Being under $1 seems like a good speculation opportunity to buy some now. How much are the fees to create a new smart contract on Waves, does anyone know?

just make sure to dump when you think the price has also reached it peak. the price of WAVES had been under $1 even before time. it just fly to the moon because BTC is also flying and this happened in 2017 bullrun.  the project is just waiting for another bullrun, no significant developments to its project really that even the smart contracts were attracting developers to go on their side.
4029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: By now, is it worth to invest in major altcoins for the long term? on: January 21, 2020, 08:23:00 PM
the market has changed so far, i can still recommend to invest to some altcoins. maybe just the major ones not the ones you haven't heard of before or had been existing for a long time yet the price didn't even go up.  the teams today are fooling investors by making its coin appear like ti has a value but in reality their volume it has in a day is just worth $10 for a very looong time. you'd best just pick the ones on the first page of CMC.
4030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IEO] Multichain Ventures Tokes [TKS] | Staking Ecosystem Token on: January 21, 2020, 07:56:11 PM

weren't tokes created longtime ago which this is the thread back 2016 but why is it being for sale this 2020 on exchanges like ProBit, P2Pb2b and LAToken?

is the Multichain Ventures Tokes (TKS) Token different from the TKS of tokesplatform?  i'm not getting any of it. it feels hazy when a non top performing project of 2016 comes back to once again seek investors for the new project.

take a look at the medium for MV, it's got all the info there: https://medium.com/multichainventures

The new token will replace the legacy token but won't require any effort from legacy TKS holders. There's a snapshot and a swap coming up Feb 18th, after the IEO. That is the original ANN for Tokes Platform, since then Multichain Ventures has been created and Tokes is now a product under the parent company. This is all good news and allows the team to raise more funds for continued development, strategic partnerships etc.

its hard to believe there are good news though. there were no activity to that project anymore because 6 months ago there were no volume anymore to this TKS project after getting delisted on bittrex. after a long absense, teams who had been silent for a long time during the bear market would be sketchy in posing a come back just when the market looks ready again.

4031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would a Crypto Based Economy Make Things Safer? on: January 21, 2020, 07:33:34 PM
How will using a different currency help with crime? People will still steal. The only safer thing i can see is not having to keep cold hard cash in your pocket/wallet.

If we live by the principles of crypto that would mean decentralized and free. Sounds good to me.

not all will need to be decentralized though. not everything will need to be tokenized like some projects thats doesn't need blockchain.

but certainly there is the need for blockchain for things like land ownership, its easy to land grab in some countries as long as they have the power being a politician they can grab lands. but if this land titles are in the blockchain, these lands will not be able top be grabbed by someone else. things are safer with blockchain.
4032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have anyone come across this? Whether it is a true currency or fake one....? on: January 21, 2020, 06:47:53 PM

he just took a picture of the fiat paper, obviously its form a country's currency whichever it is but it wouldn't be worth 1BTC. if a country prints that kind of bill that means they over printed lots of bills already like that of a Zimbabwe. 50,000,000 could be worth a cent this time in USD.  not to disrespect the government of that country.

4034  Economy / Speculation / Re: Monday Is the Best Day to Buy Bitcoin? on: January 20, 2020, 05:50:47 PM

if only people knew that buying BTC on mondays makes it more profitable than buying on any other day, i could have done it since day 1.

i took a peak to the article and was surprise the pattern they show starts way back from 2013. I think this started when some forex brokers added BTC on their platform, FOREX market sessions starts on monday and end in friday which i guess most crypto traders learned from forex.
4035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The future of bounty looks uncertain on: January 20, 2020, 04:49:41 PM

there are still bounty campaigns though, its just unsure if the team is going to pay the participants. what we saw these days though is that, the team will postponed the launch and listing of the tokens in the exchanges until the market improves like the near halving market. there may be more projects that will be listed soon when the price of BTC rises up to more than $10k.  and probably more projects will also do a bounty campaign too when market gets better.
4036  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of trusted/recommended Translators on: January 20, 2020, 02:19:42 PM
Sad to hear guys... there still are reputable projects that pay in BTC and I have had the pleasure to work for some - also suggested translators for other languages, who have been paid just fine. So letīs just keep our eyes open and work together.

The number is rather small and not all of us are so lucky to live in "rich countries" where people have higher chance to invest and all projects want to be translated into their language  Wink
That's why we, the normal mortals, may start accepting tokens [which is a mistake!] and later simply stop searching...

There is not much options for translators as the people who normally hire translator in crypto are the marketing personal of a blockchain project which they only pay with their tokens. I tried to demand BTC for a fee but they rather cancel the job to me to find someone else to translate whitepaper, ANN thread and bounty thread for them. its worse when translators has to wait years to get paid.
4037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Truth That Will Eventually Kill Bitcoin on: January 20, 2020, 02:00:52 PM

it would be stupid for OP to think he can convince anyone here that BTC is a fraud.  big people in the real world business are now becoming an BTC enthusiast like Draper and Elon Musk. how the hell is this war being BTC as fraud going to win now that there are also government officials claiming to own some BTC.

that video is not going to result to something like people will hate BTC. thats not happening.
4038  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EarnBet.io - The First Player-Owned Casino 🎲Provably Fair 🎲BTC ₿ on: January 19, 2020, 07:47:16 PM
Chinese New Year promotion coming soon, this is going to be a big one!

So will this be another trading competition or something completely else? Maybe a Chinese coin you are adding in your betting currencies? Neo? Vet? or maybe Tron?

TRON will be good.

the promotion won't do good if there is nothing new to promote though. i would be best if there is another exchange adding this BET not just this binance dex which doesn't have any volume in there. 10BNB volume daily, how's that going to make this token valuable. if you were holding 10K BET today, is your dividends worth still?
4039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone [JAN 2020] Discussion on: January 19, 2020, 07:35:55 PM
If Khabib loses to Ferguson and he will be the next title holder, will Conor still be interested to fight Khabib?
Or he will be more interested to get his belt back?

His been calling Khabib for a rematch as far as I can remember so probably he is still open for that fight.

Lots of options for Conor now because of his "impressive" win against Donald Cerrone. I'm sure Dana is very happy to see him winning, because as cash cow, he can still potentially set up Conor to whoever he wants and get tons of money out of it. So let's see how it goes, disappointed on how Cerrone performed though, he didn't offer anything and was simply steam roll by Conor.

its where dana get the big ppv profit. so i wouldn;t be surprise if they will push the pacquiao fight as well all for the money.

can't believe the cowboy just curl down before mcgregor. he haven't stepped on the  center yet. i was expecting him to duck and grab legs to take down since he already have watched kabib match. such a big disappointed. luckily i only bet TRX for this match.
4040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin provides more long-term profits on: January 19, 2020, 06:09:55 PM
for long term profits, there are coins that can profit it particularly those coins that needs a lot of collateral for your staking or masternodes like DASH. its not that cheap anymore for such coins but there are the ones that will give dividends specially the casino coins.

the long term profit coins without staking features will really make you wait for a long time.
