4021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin you love to see die soon and why? on: January 05, 2020, 02:58:36 PM
bitcoin cash and bitcoin sv, they liked deceiving new users telling them they are the real bitcoin. this kind of altcoin should not exist because it misleads the users from knowing the truth. also, they like to make a questionable statement about something which will reflect the overall situation if people think they are a real bitcoin.

Only those who didn't search, read and double check will believe what they say. I don't even remember when was the last time I bought those other as there are no means to have them, especially when you already have the real one Bitcoin definitely.  Just use other alts in trading.
4022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO WhitePaper Matter Most? on: January 05, 2020, 01:25:15 PM
Asking the question looks strange to me, personally i will be straight; never look at the whitepaper for any reason to choose for yourself an ICO or IEO. Carefully check if the project has hard some good products before they roll out their tokenization. Although personally am not a good investor because many of my investment had taught me a great lesson back in 2018. Ensure to invest on a project with a workable products.
Check the project intention, use and their product. There's no use now on effort ing in reading the white paper unless we already know that they have the existing product that will show almost all what they aim in their crowd funding, whitepaper is too important but developers were no longer true to what they put there.
4023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Survey: if you have $50k fiat ,will you invest in btc or put it in bank? on: January 05, 2020, 11:57:35 AM
If within the two, I definitely choose bitcoin, it might be risky but there is chance to earn or gain returns due to compound interest afterwards unlike in bank that it will still be the same in the entire lifetime or worst will be lessen due to tax deductions.
4024  Economy / Economics / Re: Grandma tell you to keep old coin in piggy bank on: January 04, 2020, 03:22:31 PM
Nope, our grandma tell thats thing because the old coin during she was child is cheap and now its expensive.
This is because in 1900-1950 the coin are limited production. The value of that coins will raise up so its make the price is expensive.
And also, the money collector can make the demand of limited coins raise up.

This will depend on how long we can keep that coin, as it may still have no value in our entire existence since it's already not accepted or phase out or simply just the same with no interest at all but will surely have value in later generations just keep other generations informed so they can sell it.
4025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STOs are still growing but very slowly on: January 04, 2020, 02:29:03 PM
I have heard of STO and I thought that 2019 will be the year for them but it seems not. There's an opinion that it will be the next big thing for crowdfunding but we will see if it's really the next thing that will gain the attention of the masses.

Do we have a link for the upcoming STOs for this year?
I didn't see any project thru STO for awhile, it's mostly IEO now and still doesn't perform well. If ever there will be atleast one popular STO that will show some good progress and can wow the market it can have a chance, as long as it will be noticed atleast by a big investors.
4026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which wallet is best for ERC20 tokens? on: January 04, 2020, 01:12:39 PM
Myetherwallet is the best choice to you have erc 20 tokens, I never seen the applications which supports tokens based on the ethereum. There are few wallet providers give the way to access some tokens on there website and application.
But they will remove whenever they want other tokens to be listed.
If still don't have hardware wallet like ledger and Trezor, I will still prefer to use my ether wallet. It's still much better for me as I don't experience any problem in it even before that I'm using it a lot. In terms of sending and transferring it still works well just always check the website since many tries to copied it to scam and to have victim of phished.
4027  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do traders spend crypto when they can? on: January 04, 2020, 11:23:10 AM
What is the point of making many when you don't really enjoy the result? Saving some portion of your profit is important for everyone, reinvest it? would be better but if you don't spend your some money and enjoy it then why do you make money?
It's good to balance things, spend some and save some. It's like enjoying today and preparing for tomorrow its applicable as long as we know our goals, set our limits and spen donly what is needed. Others make it as inspiration to save now since soon you'll be able to enjoy it especially if they are starting from scratch and every earning matters or alloted for something.
4028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with crypto is more accessible than ever on: January 03, 2020, 03:09:56 PM
in my country I already received bitcoin payments but as far as I know there is still one province and the bitcoin office ethereum has also branched out to this capital city proving cryptocurrency payments are applied
Haven't experienced paying yet thru ETH unless its a personal transfer. In my merchants I only paid with Bitcoin as long as it supports the wallet application that im  using that is able to do bills payment. There is no known outlets yet that accept crypto in my area, it will be good if they will also plan to start this year.
4029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Now that we are in 2020 on: January 03, 2020, 02:17:02 PM
I am reasonably confident that we'll see a return to more bullish sentiment this year. Yes halving should have an effect, as should the move towards PoS for ETH.

As for ICOs and IEOs, I would imagine that IEOs will remain the preference due to the fact that they tend to be higher quality projects (or at least a lot of the rubbish and scams are pre-filtered out). However I can't see new projects doing well until we have seen evidence that market confidence is returning. I can't see 2017-style ICO-fever happening again this year.

I'm still positive in some top altcoins that they will be able to recover, but in terms of ICO and IEO, this two is already over. Much better if the projects will have a private crowd funding in terms of sourcing from known companies before they offer promote being crypto maybe about 70 or 80% done so there be less risk only for traders.
4030  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If You Bought Bitcoin Each Week in 2019, You’d Be up 49% on: January 03, 2020, 01:45:27 PM
I'm quite doing it not really weekly but maybe once or twice a month. Its really also tempting to take advantage of the low price to buy more but most likely I feel regrer when the next day it goes down again. So buying little by little is my comfort zone. Its not really that high volume but accumulating it weekly or monthly it will still be bigger returns.

It's like paying bills if we put it on monthly basis, while it works for others I don't think I'll be able to do it regularly as I prefer to wait to buy when the price seems to go down, so I will just wait and hopefully will still have money when that time come. There are really pros and cons as we weren't sure if by the time we were about to buy if we have budget to invest.
4031  Economy / Economics / Re: Say Goodbye to Banking as We Know It on: January 03, 2020, 12:45:44 PM
We are slowly going into the cashless society. Some of the big countries like China is now doing their best to make their own cryptocurrency or a digital currency. This type of movement is the proof that there is something with cryptocurrencies and to those people who are skeptical and continuously denying will jump into the bandwagon train anytime soon.
I'm trying not to use bank in transactions as much as possible but when in terms of cashing out into fiat, there is only few option and cashing out in banks is what I do. If only all my payment bills and stores that I'm buying accepts crypto there will be no problem. If China do it and shows successful rate many will sure to follow them in time.
4032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any change this year? on: January 03, 2020, 11:17:22 AM
There is no point in giving up. Ever since I learned about crypto, I trusted it and I believe crypto still has a long way to go. I never get discouraged whenever the market falls, it is a normal market cycle. Market depression is normal and I even take it as an opportunity to buy cheap. I'll just keep on getting my portfolio filled little by little until it grows till next bull-market.
Every year is a new chance to keep going, it may not what we wanted but as we experience changes we will able to realize the prices that we will be able to trade. We should not focus on downside but take it as opportunity whether to buy and sell at low or high rise depending on our goal.
4033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Fantom is the first project which will have Central Bank backing. on: January 02, 2020, 12:54:44 PM

Fantom gives hope for their holder and believer I remember the day when I first heared this project I buy during sales and wait for a good spike on price after I sell my fantom I dont have any update regarding to this project but now its look like give another impact.
If they have a solid team plus improvement of the peoject this will surely up to the top on cmc.
I don't heard any news either about it until now, I have some of it before and sold it when I needed some money. Good old days. Let's see this 2020 how they can cope up and re align their goals to achieved again investors attention to them. Some investors were looking for security and being backed by Central banks can help them achieve it.
4034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Profit matters most in crypto currency on: January 02, 2020, 12:00:45 PM
in crypto small profits are also valuable, because the high risk makes us have to be more careful, especially if we are looking for large profits. therefore if we see the potential for profit, then we must take advantage even if large or small. if we continue to look for large profits it will be difficult, capability is also needed here
Being greedy and always aiming for large profits will not lead you into anything. It will just make headaches if we keep ourselves pressured in earning too high. Appreciate small earnings since in the long run and when save and invest properly it will be big. Invest in knowledge and ways to earn. Profit is the goal but to attain that we need not to be greedy, have disciplined and know our abilities.

4037  Economy / Economics / Re: Mistakes That Make You Poor Poor In Cryptocurrency on: January 02, 2020, 09:42:19 AM
My biggest mistake is being greedy, when I have altcoin and have a pump, I don't sell it immediately, or change it to bitcoin, and finally now some altcoins are worthless, so sometimes regret comes up, but we must rise

Same here, I think many experience this, not setting goal and aiming for more when already most is given. I don't even stop loss earlier when the price continuously declining. I considered it now just a charged on experience and simply those amounts I have before were just once a dream that I should moved on.
4038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to 2020, the year of cryptocurrency bull market. on: January 01, 2020, 01:11:14 PM
Guys,,, have you not learned anything from the past 2 years? Please do not expect. When you expect and the market grows a little then everybody will FOMO in and make it artificially rise again only to fall even deeper. I hope this year is the year speculators die off and real investors and real users grow. So no bull please.
We just need to be positive but still be open minded in whatever may happen. We don't know what the halving will be effect but it's better to plan ahead, if it's bull or bear keep our mind in focus of what we can experience. May this 2020 bull with us.
4039  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My First Rank Up on: January 01, 2020, 09:23:01 AM
Congratulations on your rank up, nothing is impossible when we really put our effort into it. It's a motivation this year and even for many who still want to rank up despite of new merit rules. Will work into sharing ideas from the courses I enrolled this year from blockchain to crypto seminars.
