4021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will the current Bull run stop on: November 23, 2020, 06:54:59 AM
I think the bull run will not stop this time as the price is still trying to increase, although the price now is still below $18,500 and it is sideways on that current price.
But I believe that bitcoin will not be stopped after this because the next rallies will start, and it will reach the new highest price.
Although that is temporary, that will help us make a profit, and I am sure that many people will have the chance to recover their losses.
But we need to be careful because if the price can increase so high, there will be another time for bitcoin to go down, and we don't know how deep the correction will make the price goes down.
Maybe we don't have to wait for the highest price to come, so we can use the time to take profit while the price is at the high price, and we can buy back again when the correction for the price comes after that.
4022  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unpopular Opinions About Bitcoin on: November 23, 2020, 05:14:02 AM
If only he says like that, I would not bother and not overthinking because I don't think that what he says will happen.
But if bitcoin can not become the #1 currency globally, I think that will not be a problem, but bitcoin price will still increase in the future.
So no matter if that does not happen, we can still make money from bitcoin, and I think he will regret to say that.
Meanwhile, we see that the adoption progress still happens in many places, so even bitcoin can not be the #1 currency, bitcoin will still exist among us and will help us to make money.
If the adoption is still running, then there will be a chance that bitcoin will be accepted in many countries, but bitcoin can be the new solution in the payment system.
4023  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bullrun and correction period on: November 23, 2020, 03:12:40 AM

Last time we were not ready for correction period as a result many sold bitcoin lesser price our of panic which creates more negative impact, will it be different and mature response from users this time if similar thing repeats? Kindly share your opinions.

We'll have to see if investors have matured after all this time, after we reached another all time high but if you asked me the scenario is very much different we have aggressive investors who just came in to invest and they are going to support the market continuously, the old investors will not let the the same thing, because if that happens, we will all suffer it's like going back to zero.
No need to worry because bitcoin will make another ATH soon.
This time is only another correction from bitcoin.
After this, I am sure that the price will be back to the high price, and I think the price will break another highest price, and who knows, the price can break $19k-$19,500 in a short time before this month-end.
The investor still buys back Bitcoin at a price now while the trend is now at the downtrend, so you need to prepare too.
If this week's bitcoin price can increase again to up to $19k, then that will be a good sign for bitcoin to still rise for another second-highest price.
We will soon see the bitcoin price will reach the last ATH a few years ago, and the bitcoin price will make a new ATH at the highest price.
4024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Player protection - stop loss limit on: November 22, 2020, 11:33:04 AM
Hi guys, as you know some casino/bookmakers offer "player protection" giving ability to set up a stop loss limits.
What happens if a player lose more of this limit and continue to gamble despite any "protection"?
I think it could never happen if I understand it correctly stop loss limit would make the gamblers account to freeze or unable to gamble for a period of time when they reach the maximum amount of loss.
But I don't think that it is helpful to make a gambler limit their bets or stop gambling because they could make an alt-account on it.

Yes, that will not work because they will try to register a new account or use the other account to still playing gambling.
If they are addicted to gambling, they will still come and play gambling games. No matter if their account is freeze or banned, they will try to play.
But if their account can not be used on that site, they will search for the other gambling sites that do not have those features because that can limit them to playing gambling.
The right thing about limiting the amount of money and the time will be from their responsibility. Without responsibility for gambling, they will lose their money quickly.
Maybe every gambler will need to limit their money (this is the first thing that they must do). Or they can learn about how to control themselves.
4025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When this gonna change. What's happening with advancement? on: November 22, 2020, 10:28:26 AM
I think that is adopted in many developing countries and that still be used in the banks.
Maybe that will still be effective to them while they don't adopt blockchain technology inside their system.
That system will be there for some time until the government decides to change the bank system.
The bank itself already use their own digital system, which we don't know what it's named.
But we see if a person wants to open an account in the banks, they must fill KYC and write everything about their personal, and then the officers write it in their computer and it will be added to their database. So far, that is what happens to many banks.
If there are no new regulations from the government that needs the banks to change their system, that will be like that, which we don't know until how long it will be.
4026  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worth margin trading Bitcoin now? on: November 22, 2020, 09:06:36 AM
Seeing Bitcoin nearly at it's ATH, I'm planning to go short but that means I'm gonna end up with way less BTC now. (e.g. $25 = less than 0.0015 BTC)
Do you have skills in margin trading? Or do you already tried margin trading before?
If yes, you can continue to proceed with margin trading, but if you are not trying margin trading before, I suggest you not to try it.
But if you still insist on trying margin trading with that amount and be willing to accept the risk, you can try it, but be careful because margin trading will be different from regular trading.
In margin trading, you will see your profit and loss in reality, and that can make your heart beat faster than usual. Sometimes, it can make you panic if the price is down suddenly.
But margin trading will open your eyes to the chance to make a big profit or get a big loss. So you can try it carefully.
4027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Are So Many Altcoins Worthless After a Little Time on: November 22, 2020, 07:30:22 AM
I think that is because many projects are just copied the other successful project or the current project to get another success too like them.
That project will not think about their project's benefits to their users because of their reason to do a project because they want to make money from that project.
Some of them are not honest to their customer or their investor and they keep saying that they will explain it later after they run the project.
People nowadays become smart to select which project they want to invest and they will not waste their time searching for a project that will not benefit them.
Many of the projects become scam after the project run for some time, and the team is just run away with the investor's money.
4028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Preparing for altcoin season on: November 21, 2020, 02:41:34 PM
I guess that it will still be unknown to see the altcoin season's coming because the altcoin still not moves too high.
With the bitcoin price now breaking $18k, the altcoin could have the time to increase, but the altcoin seems still waiting for bitcoin moves.
I do not doubt with ethereum, BNB, but for chainlink and polkadot, I don't know if that coin can increase or not, but it still needs more time for all altcoins.
But we hope that the next year can be the time for the altcoin season, and many altcoins will increase so high.
So if you want to buy the coin on that list, you should buy it right now before the price increase.
But you need to be careful with the correction because if bitcoin gets correction for the price, the altcoin will go down and back to the lower price again.
4029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins will reach all time high on 2021 on: November 21, 2020, 11:49:31 AM
All coins in your list are very strong, stable and all have the chance to cost even more. When I look back in 2017, there was great potential if the right trend could be identified in time. But, the opportunities still exist because the market has changed a lot since 2017 and is still going to change
Yes, I agree with you.
I think that ethereum, binance will increase. For digibyte, waves, cardano, maybe that coin can have the opportunity to grow again after it reached the highest price in 2017.
I am not sure about the new coin or token, but I think some of the new coins can increase too, although we don't know when it will grow and what coin can increase.
The token such as Uni, Sushi, Kyber, and Polkadot also have the opportunity to increase in the next altcoins season, but we need to be patient to wait for that time.
But I think this altcoin season will not be the same as what we saw in 2017 because bitcoin will break more than $20k, and that can lead the altcoin to rise so high.
4030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Popular Investing Strategies for Beginners on: November 21, 2020, 08:21:07 AM
a good strategy for beginners in my opinion is easy, if you really have a lot of capital, maybe $ 10k,
you can invest 50:50 in two cryptocurrencies, you can analyze it by looking at ROI and fundamentals,
if ROI is still negative and fundamental good, of course it is highly recommended,
and also you have to invest in coins that have low prices.
I don't think this is good advice for a new trader. I think a beginner should at least start with low capital and build experience. If he will start trading with that large capital and have no idea to handle it, he will just lose his capital.

IMO, A beginner should try executing small trades and build experience then gradually increase it when he's starting to gain confidence with his strategy.
Indeed. It is not better for the beginners to use a big money to invest in cryptocurrencies because they don't have much experience or knowledge about cryptocurrency.
I suggest using small money and still learning more about crypto to get more experience and knowledge that will be useful for them if they want to add more coins as an investment.
They can invest in popular coins only and don't invest in the coin they do not know.
Maybe choosing bitcoin, ethereum, bnb, litecoin, dogecoin, xrp, and others will benefit them.
But the best thing that they can do is limit their money first before they have much knowledge of investing.
But if the investment is for buying bitcoin, you can buy and hold it and don't sell if the price does not touch your target sell price.
I don't suggest that they trade if he doesn't have much skills or experience in trading because if they force them to trade, they will make a profit.
4031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 21, 2020, 05:48:31 AM

Just based on the saying that the longer we play the less chance of winning we have, and there's only one reason why we are at that situation, and that is because we are gambler on games where there's a house edge.

We don't want short-lived entertainment, we as much as possible want to stay on as long as we can, but unfortunately, we sometimes tend to forget that there is a house edge that will eventually come out while you are playing anytime.
If you are looking to make money then plan and time your bet, if you want to have some fun go with all your heart with money that you can afford to lose.
It will no problem if you want long-lived entertainment, but as long as that does not come from the gambling games because if you decide to search for gambling, I am afraid that will make you lose too big money.
We admitted that if we play gambling for a long time, we will lose too much money because the chance to win will not be bigger than winning.
So we do not need to use gambling to get entertainment in the long term to prevent the risk of losing money.
I am sure that we can search for another thing that we can use to get entertainment in the long term, and I think that will be safe for us since we are not risking the money to be wasted.
4032  Economy / Speculation / Re: Congrats to everyone for reaching $20k again. on: November 20, 2020, 01:06:56 PM
I bet it reaches $20K by the end of the month and runs up to $27-$30K by the end of the year. The only thing that can stop it is a large tech selloff. There so much momentum, FOMO hasn't even really begun, and the price is rising steadily but not in an absurd fashion like '17.
I hope it will reach $20k before the end of the month, and it will run up to $27k-$35k by the end of this year.
The next year, the price will have more chances to break the high price.
I agree that the price can rising steadily, and it will not jump to the high price in a short time, but it will increase step by step.
If that happens, the next ATH will happen in a long time, and maybe the price will be increased to the highest price after the middle of the next year.
But when the FOMO comes, everything can happen, and the price can increase in a short time.
But as always, we don't know what will happen in the future, so we can prepare for anything that can happen.
4033  Economy / Economics / Re: Mexico's billionaire invests in Bitcoin on: November 20, 2020, 10:21:03 AM
Bitcoin is a decentralized currency which anyone can use to invest and make a good profit. Bitcoin is still proving to other investors who think bitcoin cannot give a good profit that will make someone to become the richest in the world. Many billionaire are now using bitcoin to invest to make more money that will  make them the richest in their country, since the profit they are getting now from bitcoin is more bigger than the one they were making from fiat money which is very small profit compare to the one bitcoin is bringing every month.
Mexico billionaire who just newly started bitcoin investment is wondering how fast and steady the investment is, for someone to use it to  make a good profit without fear of scammer who are use to fiat money but they don't have any idea on bitcoin investment. Many billionaires in other countries  has been testify how good the investment is, if it come to profit making, bitcoin is the best among other business in the country.
I think billionaires is not only investing or buying bitcoin to gain profit, that they are investing in bitcoin to have benefits from it in the future. Many people do find bitcoin as a great investing opportunity, even it is not regulated by the government or the authorities due to it's decentralization because of its benefits that you can avoid paying high banking fees, accessibility, mobile payments, etc.
Indeed. Those billionaires realize that bitcoin is the next opportunity to gain profit while still having time to buy bitcoin in a large amount.
Once the price starts to increase, they will not be able to buy a big amount of bitcoin, although they still can, but it is better to invest in bitcoin.
Maybe if the bitcoin price can rise so high, it can make people realize that bitcoin gives them the way to make big money from investing in bitcoin, so they don't underestimate bitcoin again.
They will see the power of bitcoin, and they will start to invest in bitcoin, and I think that will not just happen to people in Mexico, but people from other places will see that too.
But people who don't have much money will follow to invest in bitcoin because they don't want to miss the chance to make money from bitcoin.
4034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 20, 2020, 06:40:11 AM
Obviously gamblers are losing more than their win if we calculate the net difference in the total rewards paid to the total bet amount and that is how the gambling casinos or sites survive here and making profits. Its not a rocket science to understand it either for most but still they prefer to gamble because they feel that they are lucky and can win more money from their betting amount.

Maybe or Maybe not there aren't specific statistics regarding gamblers if there are then please include them.
There are some gamblers that win in starting and never come back and there are others that win, come back and lose everything.
But addiction is on both sides!

So if 1st time winning gambler comes back then they have less chance of winning again depending on the house edge.
As long as a gambler can control themselves, especially if they win the games, they will not lose the money because they can manage the money and stop the game.
But many gamblers losing their control in the gambling after they win, and they think that if they can continue playing gambling, they will have a chance to win.
That is not always right because we know that gambling is based on luck, and we can not always win after winning the game.
A gambler will lose more money if they still playing because they don't have a big chance to win much money.
If they can win small money, it is better to stop for a while and not play more rounds because they can lose that money.
4035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be considered the “gold” of crypto investment? on: November 20, 2020, 04:22:48 AM
Just a little over a week ago, Stanley Druckenmiller, an American billionaire, spoke on CNBC about his views on Bitcoin:
that it “could be an asset class that has a lot of attraction as a store of value to both millennials and the new West Coast money.”

In recent years, investing in Bitcoin has been seen as a possible way to diversify one’s investment portfolio.
As a result of COVID-19 and what’s happened to the stock markets, an intriguing question has been brought up:
is investing in Bitcoin as good as investing as gold?

Bitcoin vs Gold, what is a better investment in your opinion?
It is obvious that bitcoin is in fact the gold of the market of cryptocurrencies, however what is a better investment option depends entirely on your needs and wants, for example for someone that is very comfortable with the amount of money that he has and that is worried about keeping his wealth and not as much in increasing his wealth then gold is by far the better option, but if you care more about increasing your capital during the next years or even the next decade then bitcoin is by far the best option.
That is right.
People who know crypto for a long time ago will say that crypto is the best investment, and crypto can be equal to gold in reality.
But people who don't know about crypto will say that crypto will scam you soon, and you will not have a chance to get your initial money.
People who know crypto will invite people out there to join with them, and even that people don't want to join, they will not force it because they know that it needs an understanding and acceptance from them to use crypto as an investment.
But people can deny saying bitcoin as gold in the crypto investment, which will be up to them.
I can admit that crypto, especially bitcoin, is gold in the crypto world, but we can not force people to say the same.
4036  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a massive BTC dump? on: November 19, 2020, 02:09:34 PM
Yesterday is downtime for bitcoin price after hitting $18,400, and the price down until $17,300, but then the price can back to increase and slowly the price goes up again.
I don't expect to see a massive dump that will happen to bitcoin, but it could happen in the future, especially when the bitcoin price can break $19k-$20k later.
Everything can happen to bitcoin price, and unfortunately, we don't have any sign to know when that will happen.
We can prevent that moment is still be careful and don't panic if we see it is happening.
But now, I don't want to think much about the massive dump because it is better we focus on this moment and don't miss any chance to sell bitcoin at the price we want.
4037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 19, 2020, 12:49:46 PM
There are a few bookies who have great promotions at the moment. If you play with that money that you get in a promotion, you never have to risk your own money. Unfortunately, such promotions don't last forever. And if you have won, withdraw immediately.
Playing with promotions isn't risky but it is difficult to withdraw money, their requirement is quite high. Of course, the gamblers lose more money than win, besides the cheating factor of gambling sites, the house wins at a rate higher.
If you can find which gambling sites that don't have too many requirements for us to withdraw, you can withdraw the win money without any problem.
But it is difficult to win gambling games because we can see that many gamblers lose their money in many gambling games. Many of them are used more money to recover their losses because they have expectations of luck in the next rounds.
Playing gambling will only make you lose money, so if you don't want to see the big loss in gambling, you need to limit your time to playing gambling.
There are many more requirements for you to prevent the losses, and you need to learn one by one so you can play gambling because of searching for fun things only.
4038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers forced into unpaid leave on: November 19, 2020, 09:10:43 AM
Wondering how many of them needs to suffer until days come that gambling world recovers and operation comes to normal again?
i believe that when the early of pandemic days it is Las vegas suffers the same as many casino workers need to stop working and cry for help from their employees.

Sad to know but nothing can help them but to keep fighting and find other job for now.

Casino will recover soon but just need some time and government as well letting them operates again normally.
If you watch the news about closing the factory in many countries, you can imagine that the number of people who were not working and not paid for their job was too big to say.
We don't know the exact number, but it could be more than a thousand people who suffer now in this pandemic.
That is the fact that was happening now in many countries, and not just in the gambling business that saying many employees losing their job, but in other business fields, people have the same experience.
They can not do anything except follow what their company wants, and now they are searching for a new job that can help them get paid and have money.
But I am sure that after the pandemic is over, and the company will reopen in the new normal, people can get new jobs in the new company that can accept them.
4039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All markets in 2020 on: November 19, 2020, 06:11:38 AM
As we all know we face so many circumstances in 2020,  that could have crashed bitcoin and alt coins market. Economy of many countries has down very fast. The covid-19 is still around. As this year is going to finish but i see many good changes in this time frame. In my opinion crypto performed very well is this time.
As you said, the crypto market now performed well enough this year, and it seems the crypto market will increase more before the end of this year.
Hopefully, the crypto market will have a bull run that will come this month or next month, so when the new year comes, the crypto market will have more power to recover and increase higher.
But before that time, we need to be careful because the price will have many corrections, which can be a dump for every coin at the market.
If you can prepare yourself with the dump of the price, you will see your chance to buy low for every potential coin, including bitcoin, so that you can buy back more amount.
The pandemic will end soon after the government distributes the vaccine to all people who get an infection of the virus.
And when all people can get cured, we will see a new world with new hope for all people.
4040  Economy / Speculation / Re: Congrats to everyone for reaching $20k again. on: November 18, 2020, 03:33:30 PM
I'm just opening the post in advance.

It's been a long time HODLing, not selling a dime.

It's been worth it.

Cheers guys!

Smiley
Finally, we see $18k again after waiting for a long time. It's been exciting to watch the price go up and down this day.
And although the price reaches the lower price, it bounces again after that.
The price now will break the next highest price, and I guess that we already see the new ATH for temporary.
We will see the next ATH, and maybe that price will go up to $19k, although we don't know when it will happen.
If the price can touch $20k, I am sure that we can sell it together, making us make a profit again at that price.
People who still hold bitcoin from a long time ago will be happy to see $20k, so they will be happy to sell at that price.
We now have a big chance to recover our losses this year, especially if the price can increase more than $20k.
