4021  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will we stand at the end of pandemic? on: July 13, 2020, 01:24:12 PM
I think many of us start with the Ponzi scheme at the beginning, and after we have much experience of being a scam, we realize that we need to stop the cycle by reading and learning more about crypto. If we can get the right sources, we will make money even if we are still at this pandemic because we can survive. We can help them by giving the correct information about investing in bitcoin, so they don't get the fake investment programs.
I didn’t start with the Ponzi scheme. I have discovered bitcoin in another forum in which there are a lot of people who got info there and are sharing their own opinion on it. It’s quite informative, and I got hooked to BTCT because everything is in here. The world will survive for sure, and I don’t think there’s something to be worried about, just our daily needs, IMO.
4022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which website do you usually go to get your news and casino reviews? on: July 13, 2020, 10:49:40 AM
Just like other members here, I particularly like the forum with the updated news and whatnot. It serves a whole part where in which you could see the announcement thread  and the actual reviews by members are users that registered in their casino site. What I really like about this are the scam accusations that could save you bitcoin from being victimized or something like that.

Have you taken advantage of the information in the forum yet, OP? There is a lot of resources here.
4023  Economy / Economics / Re: Maintaining safety measures after pandemic for human -economical- resources on: July 13, 2020, 05:49:54 AM
Those types of Protocols for safety measures have already been existing even well before the Covid19 pandemic. I do agree with your opinion that it has made more people realize that it’s essential to take care of Hygiene and be respectful towards other people in the same Environment as you by wearing face masks.

I cannot discredit the other type of sickness or disease when it comes to our lives because they still exist and it even possible to get affected by that but since the cause of the virus now is somewhat unknown to everyone, so it’s technically agreeable that There are economic effects due to that.

I think the best approach is to educate everyone about the possible casualties when it comes to the right protocols in place. It’s better safe than sorry.
4024  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will we stand at the end of pandemic? on: July 13, 2020, 03:45:31 AM
From what I have seen in some of the social media accounts that I have, my friends there have started their cryptocurrency journey but on the wrong path at first. Technically they are going to the Ponzi Scheme path with Forsage and many more Ponzi schemes that use cryptocurrency. With that being said, there are still people who have money to invest in something that they think they can profit from, so there's no need to worry about it too much. Sharing and influencing people would be ideal for the right applications of crypto.

4026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question about rollback of the btc blockchain on: July 13, 2020, 12:43:48 AM
As for CZ, I hope no one ever forgets that proposal. What a clueless dick move.
Meh, it's not wrong of someone to ask. Of course, everyone said no.  Plus, he had gotten bad advice from people who misleading represented themselves as authorities.
Since everyone that is registered to Binance was affected by then, it seems CZ wants to do everything to lessen the impact that they have with it. If you were in his shoes, trying to get it done is a way that he thought that is worth it but of course, it won't happen.
4027  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Lesson: Stop loss Strategies on: July 12, 2020, 01:53:56 PM
Yeah it is a semi advanced lesson but I can post again another lesson about trailing stops. So I will give an idea what is trailing stops. In a nut shell, stop loss are using to protect your capital while trailing stops is to preserve and protect your gains in market. So basically trailing stops is using whenever you have now gains in the market. Why we should use this? It is simply because there are times that we have profit but our biased turned against us where our profit is becoming losses. So for simple terms, trailing stop is to lock in our profits and to make sure that we will preserve our profit.
I will be looking forward to that as well. I'm quite familiar with those types of orders already, but a review wouldn't hurt as well. Some techniques even are entirely new, like what I said in my previous post. But I like the trailing stops too because I could adjust it while I trail the market with profits and possibly gain more if the market gives it. That's the goal that everyone wants, preserving the profit, right?
4028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Doubt] Pending Ethereum transaction on: July 12, 2020, 01:10:19 PM
I think resending with a higher fee would be the ideal thing to do. I also experienced this when I was transacting my tokens out of my metamask wallet to my ledger nano X. I’m not that familiar with that Ethereum transactions compared to bitcoin transactions, I think it’s quite complicated when you compare the two.
4029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: July 12, 2020, 06:30:04 AM
I don't think every market is red. There's a couple of winners when it comes to daily markets and some are over 30% gain as well. There is a lot of traction when it comes to ETH now because there are a lot of Ponzi Schemes that lurk around and are enticing you to deposit a lot of your money to their wallets. It could bring a lot of transaction but I don't know if it could raise the price to ATH.
4030  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading using someone else's funds on: July 11, 2020, 06:41:44 PM
Personally, it's quite risky to trade with another person's fund. It's like their life is balancing between your decisions and whatever happens, you are responsible. That's what I felt when I tried a community account trading fund. It's not as big as yours when it's around ~$10000. Just a small amount of $500. I computed it's monthly rate and wins and losses with it, and I wasn't that successful. I may have been eager too much with what I can do and lost -22% of the portfolio.

It's an experiment, but it's still part of the process. Hopefully, the contrary runs wouldn't affect you.
4031  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Lesson: Stop loss Strategies on: July 11, 2020, 11:27:22 AM
I like how you made the use cases on how Stop Loss could be used and utilized. The Time-based one is the one I'm not that familiar. I haven't thought about using time as a factor in trading. I always focus on the price and how much it would go in one direction. I don't think it's going to be quite useful on my strategy, but it's nice knowing that type. Maybe we could incorporate it in our bot, Gunbot. Time-based strategies, but I doubt it's going to occur most of the time.

There are also more advanced Stop loss limit orders
Trailing stop-limit, I think, could be considered with this advanced application, right?
4032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your favorite crypto for gambling? on: July 11, 2020, 09:45:02 AM
I'll stick to my favorite gambling sites out there instead of switching to decentralized online casinos. Right now, I don't have any idea on which reputable sites are "decentralized," or maybe I'm just missing out on something.

I still love to gamble with Bitcoin because it's the most accepted one, as you said, and it has the highest value when winning. I think that everything is the same. The risk, site, etc., but the amount you are going to win is going to be higher when you evaluate it.

I do think that people are transitioning to online gambling as well. It's just a matter of time that more people are going to register on good sites. Maybe a useful resource link would help make the case on that. Hmm.
4033  Economy / Economics / Re: The Decentralized Economy During COVID-19 on: July 11, 2020, 07:36:26 AM
Do you think that COVID-19 will become extremely beneficial to the decentralized economy in the long term?
In the long-term idea, it's definitely worth the application of this kind of technology. It's important to make those things to prevent a lot of things and it gives a lot of benefits. It could lead to better applications like
  • Cashless Payments
  • Lending
  • Tokenizations
  • Decentralized Exchanges
  • No financial Censorship

There is a lot more to benefit and it's a great start for us as a society to bring it to life.

4034  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance compared to other Crypto Exchange. on: July 10, 2020, 08:55:52 AM
You're not mistaken when it comes to comparing the two. One has been operating longer than the other, and it is Bittrex. 2013 was the start of Bittrex and Binance in 2017. Binance has made it's way to the top probably because of the influence that the exchange has towards users, and they are currently dominant at it. What made it successful is the liquidity it has right now, and a lot of users are using it, and they are global. On the other hand, Bittrex, I haven't seen events in my country that had their influence.

I'm sticking to Binance in the coming future as well.
4035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB Time...... on: July 10, 2020, 02:38:43 AM
I believe that the alts are having a run on their own. The most recent coins that had great results in terms of positive changes upon this posting are
  • TRXUSDT
  • XLMUSDT
  • ATOMUSDT
  • VETUSDT
  • QTUMUSDT

The markets I used here is on binance futures. I believe it's the time of alts right now.
4036  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin Must Be Inherited on: July 10, 2020, 01:32:54 AM
I don't think it's necessary to think to have an app or another exchange to have access to the private keys for that. Basic instruction towards your inheritance would suffice. Might it be linked to help them understand how to extract the crypto or just plain message with what the inheritance is, probably something related to that sense?

Not your keys, not your coins.
4037  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: (SCAM) TetherDollars.com on: July 09, 2020, 02:09:24 PM
Great catch there, OP! I hope you continue monitoring your group members’ posts with possible scams and sharing it here in the scam accusations board. You will never know when someone would google search for a particular website and could end up here. Who knows, right?

Anyway, is It a public group that you have? You should verify your members as well if they are real or not. It depends on what group you have, too, though.
4038  Economy / Reputation / Re: Earning fraudulent Merits: automated translations to local boards on: July 09, 2020, 09:33:19 AM
I did notice that there is an increase in translated topics on local boards, just like the new DT by theymos and other great topics that LoyceV produced or something. I have been mentioned in a couple of them, and I didn't check if it got merits just with those kinds of topics. I don't think it could easily be a negative trust just because of his "merit strategy," but it's going to be viewed as taking advantage of it. It's stupid to merit a Google Translated topic, and I think it's going to be evident with the members included there.

When that happens, maybe there could be a centralized topic in which people could report from the local board on what they are doing.
4039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is no ROI if the crypto is a stablecoin on: July 09, 2020, 02:38:26 AM
I think that is already common sense unless you are trading it against an asset. The best thing that you could take advantage of this is the trading between a stable coin and Bitcoin. It's quite easily understood that it's going to be volatile since it's Bitcoin, and a lot of traders are speculating on it. Approaching different stable coins would be ideal, and comparing would be better, like USDT and USDC. I would prefer USDC since it's more transparent with the auditing, and there's actual cash on their vault or something. The problems that occurred on USDT is quite problematic in a way.
4040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Back then and Now, lesson learnt on: July 07, 2020, 12:52:08 PM
It's a great thing that you have managed to overcome your obsession with mining shitcoins that are not valued at anything. You could also say that you are wasting the energy being used for your CPU and GPU. I think with that in mind, you could focus on better things like what could be more profitable in the long run or taking risks with trading. It could help you explore more options concerning exposure with investments and other valuable opportunities.

P.S. It's the first time I read those names of a coin. Lol
