When you understand that our recent George W. Bush president has a grandfather who supported Hitler throughout much of WWII in a big way, you will realize that the conspiracies that we uncover are only the tiny tip of the iceberg.

Smiley
I assume you're talking about Prescott but the whole family name has lineage in the Skull and Bones society and their moves into positions that matter. Now, we're gonna see a Jeb v Hillary shitshow unless you and everyone across the globe has launched or wanted the Rand Paul phenomonon to handle the the biz that is needed.

I think they may be too late. The communist party usa is probably too right wing for obama and his buddies.
Agreed, and that statement is likely the burn of the century on them. The word 'communist' is still abhorred by anyone with a brain. The point is to show that the commies are blood bros with the dems at this situation.

4044  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 31, 2015, 05:44:37 AM
Not trying to part with precious coins at this point, too much can go wrong at this point. The market moves in the upwards direction at the drop of a hat and this isn't September nor anywhere close at this moment. Strap in for the move. If your speculate hand is shaking, do it on the alts and specifically litecoin and then come back into safer ground - btc.
4045  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is getting ridiculous on: January 31, 2015, 05:27:11 AM

snip
If some burgerchain social McDonalds ripoff (NYSE:SHAK) instantly gets such market cap, I don't even know why Bitcoin is still trading so low. This market is a joke on so many levels. As soon as crypto currencies are dumbed-down enough to be safely used and appeal to real mainstream users, their price will not stay at current levels.

$10/hour?
If we work (eat & live) there, then we can buy almost 2 BTC every week.   Smiley
And after they pay their bills and weekly wants they'll have the ability to purchase .25 btc or less when their payday comes, which is still a plus. That said, very few at McD's (or related biz) makes $10/hr unless they've been there for many years or are management of some sorts. God forbid if they have any kids cause then it's curtains at that point.
4046  Economy / Speculation / Re: Coinbase pissed off some people with lawyers on: January 31, 2015, 05:08:55 AM
Coinbase had a history of shady dealings with their orders, buy and sell that gets mysteriously held up during price fluctuations. Authorities are aware of the irregularities.

This latest news isn't a surprise at all. Seems like it would tank the btc soon when many more learn about this.
Doubtful, this situation is going to normalize itself just fine. It's basically parsing words from what I can tell at this point. CB point blank is telling you what the states they can operate in in a somewhat secure fashion of sorts. With such large funding recently, I doubt the latest press release that they would offer would be such buffoonery unchecked by the money backers. This is pure drama and will blow over imo. The bottom line is that a grand new trading option is available in the states and that's before the ETFs come into play to offer brokers the ability to diversify portfolios into bitcoin even if they're a small % in scale. Obvious hugeness is huge.
4047  Economy / Speculation / Re: The bitcoin price crashes - here's why on: January 31, 2015, 04:59:02 AM
Sanity will prevail, when speculators exit the trading and Whale hoarders bought up all the cheap coins.  Wink

This is hilarious.  Want to know why bitcoin really crashed?  It's because it's being adopted like crazy, by businesses, but they're only using it as an ATM, not as a currency - in other words, a cheaper way to get money than credit cards.

The other reason?  Speculators.  That's right, speculators.  Speculators have left the building, and that's why the price plummeted.  If there were still a bunch of speculators out there expecting the price of bitcoin to go up, you can bet it would be going up, not down.  It's basic supply and demand.

Speculators are on altcoins now. Bitcoin looks like a pile of horseshit to me.
I wouldn't say the latter. When the specs are done with alts and specifically the eventual litecoin rise, they'll need to buy back into bitcoin in order to cash out. Bitcoin seems to be holding strength above the 220s and when the specs are done w/ the alts over the next month in some way, they'll help fuel a rebirth in the btc price and then the rest of the market players will do the rest to instigate another rally of sorts. I'm not offering predictions but the specs in the alt universe might be the final weak hands once they attempt to cash out. just sayin
4048  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Conservative Bigots Heckle Muslim Americans Attempting to Sing National Anthem on: January 31, 2015, 04:20:07 AM
Christian and social-conservatives really do just irrationally hate anything that doesn't involve their religion don't they? This is the final proof for me, I bet even if those muslims signed up to the army and shot at ISIS they'd still treat them like shit.

By the way, the sign on the far right made me lol.
These people watch Fox News all night and it's filled w/ non-stop terrorist stuff so that's pretty much all that's on their minds. More so, it's a christian vs muslim thing when it's all boiled down. I say the extremists on both sides need to be dealt with and/or ostracized in a large way by the more mainstream elements in order to keep an even keel. Problem is, the US' foreign policy has ginned up, funded and trained these extremist elements in islam in order to have a constant enemy abroad which keeps the people calling for more money to be spent to keep them safe and thus the military industrial complex wins out every time.

"Pro-Big Government Candidates for US President 2016"

What else is new?

It doesn't matter who you vote for, the result is the same. The same way a pyramid has a left and right side, both of these apparently opposing sides lead to the same point at the top. I honestly don't see how this hasn't become glaringly apparent to everyone when Barack Obama of the Democratic Party succeeded George W. Bush of the Republican Party, yet there was verily no change in government policies as was promised by Barack Obama's clever campaign slogan. If anything he stepped things up a notch, but you can't even call that change, since that's really just maintaining the status quo.

This is essentially why I'm not excited by the prospect of Rand Paul winning, as many people are in this forum. Because nothing will change, and he'll do all the things necessary to get re-elected and keep his party in power, not any of the things he's talking about right now.
As things stand, we're looking at a Clinton or a Bush as the default likelihoods of the next president of the USA. From a foreign policy perspective, how positive is that for certain areas of the world? Under a Paul admin, he'd be much more reserved in how the troops would be committed overseas and would actually have Congress declare war and make the people be united behind it rather than just the military industrial complex interests. Domestically, he would slash govt spending across the board for starters, assuming his party still controlled both chambers of Congress. One of his other big things are economic freedom zones which would jumpstart local economies, provide lasting jobs that are worthwhile and the showcase this success and drive a stake in the heart of big govt/progressivism for the next hundred years. There's plenty that will go in a better direction with him at the helm. W/o him, you can bet your bottom dollar that the US will continue to break down in every category that matters and its imprint on the world won't change.

There are many tricks to building a useable home bar. Essential bar tools are a must, as is knowing a few key recipes by heart and finding the right way to display everything. But the most frustrating part of getting an at-home mixology space in working order is finding the right combination of the right spirits.

In the end, your bar should, of course, be worthy of appearing on-screen with Nick and Nora—the thirsty, old-school detective duo that always has just what they need to make everything from Martinis and Manhattans to classic highballs. But most of us didn’t inherit a railroad company and don’t have a personal barback to stock the bar cart when supplies run low.

But there is an accessible solution: affordable, high-quality booze. If you want a quick primer, start with an entry-level guide to four bottles that will launch—or optimize—your home bar. Or read on to learn nine of the most reasonably priced bottles for instant bar stocking. New year around the corner; new thirstier, more cocktail-savvy you can come along for the ride.

While the link makes points about how this unregulated market succumbed to the bad actors be it exchanges or hackers, it's the freedom to innovate in a free market that will allow crypto to prosper. Reputation and credibility goes a long way to instill trust and some people just made off with what they could and never looked back tho it does seem like much of this malfeasance has been flushed out at this point.

The U.S. has already dragged us into a new Cold War, trying to openly implement its idea of triumphalism,” he is quoted as saying.

“Where will that lead all of us?” he said.

“What’s next? Unfortunately, I cannot be sure that the Cold War will not bring about a ‘hot’ one. I’m afraid they might take the risk,” Gorbachev said, referring to the United States.

“All you hear is about sanctions towards Russia from America and the European Union. Have they totally lost their minds? The U.S. has been totally ‘lost in the jungle’ and is dragging us there as well.”

Marco Rubio wants to permanently Extend NSA Mass Surveillance

Quote
Sen. Marco Rubio wants Congress to permanently extend the authorities governing several of the National Security Agency's controversial spying programs, including its mass surveillance of domestic phone records.

The Florida Republican and likely 2016 presidential hopeful penned an op-ed on Tuesday condemning President Obama's counterterrorism policies and warning that the U.S. has not learned the "fundamental lessons of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001."

Rubio called on Congress to permanently reauthorize core provisions of the post-9/11 USA Patriot Act, which are due to sunset on June 1 of this year and provide the intelligence community with much of its surveillance power.

"This year, a new Republican majority in both houses of Congress will have to extend current authorities under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, and I urge my colleagues to consider a permanent extension of the counterterrorism tools our intelligence community relies on to keep the American people safe," Rubio wrote in a Fox News op-ed.

Rubio for years has positioned himself as a vocal defense hawk in Congress, and he has repeatedly defended the NSA's spy programs revealed to the public by former agency contractor Edward Snowden.

Definitely seems to me that some of these guys running have a major purpose in trending the GOP back into a full blown fascistic party rather than let it slip into the hands of pro-freedom Rand Paul. It's like they plan on ganging up on the guy in the debates saying he's outside the party's mainstream when the mainstream of the country is on his side.

Mitt Romney announces that he is NOT running in 2016

Quote
WASHINGTON — Mitt Romney said Friday that he would not seek the Republican nomination for president in 2016.

Mr. Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, shared his decision on a conference call with a small group of advisers.

In a second call to a larger group of supporters, Mr. Romney said, “After putting considerable thought into making another run for president, I’ve decided it is best to give other leaders in the Party the opportunity to become our next nominee.”

By not pursuing a third White House bid, Mr. Romney frees up scores of donors and operatives who had been awaiting his decision, and creates space for other potential center-right candidates such as Jeb Bush.

Mr. Romney, 67, had expressed renewed interest in another presidential run to a group of donors earlier this month, roiling the nascent Republican race. Many of his loyal contributors, staff members and supporters had been reluctant to come out for one of his potential rivals until they knew Mr. Romney’s plans.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry indicted on two felony charges

Quote
A grand jury has indicted Texas Gov. Rick Perry, a potential 2016 presidential candidate, saying he abused his power by trying to pressure a district attorney to resign.

The two felony counts against Perry, a Republican, stem from his threat to veto funding for a statewide public integrity unit run by Travis County District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg unless she stepped down, the special prosecutor in the case, Michael McCrum, said.

Perry attorney David L. Botsford called the indictment a "political abuse of the court system." He said the action "violated the separation of powers" and "sets a dangerous precedent by allowing a grand jury to punish the exercise of a lawful and constitutional authority afforded to the Texas governor."

CNN affiliate KVUE reported that Perry will have to report to the Travis County Jail in the capital of Austin to be booked, fingerprinted and have his photo made for a mugshot.

Perry can continue to serve as governor while under indictment, KVUE reported. His attorneys could seek to have the charges thrown out, a motion that would delay the case, at the very least.

The grand jury in Travis County indicted the governor on charges of coercion of a public servant and abuse of his official capacity.

The charges have serious political implications, both in Texas and beyond. Perry is entering his final few months in office after a historic 14-year run in Austin.

The Republican running to replace Perry is state Attorney General Greg Abbott, who will have to answer questions about the legal drama. Abbott is facing off against Democratic star Wendy Davis, whose campaign is already making hay of Friday's news.

Perry's presidential prospects could be damaged. It's an open secret he's laying groundwork for a second presidential campaign after his disastrous 2012 effort.

Is Lindsey Graham running for president to troll Rand Paul?

Quote
...
Graham seemingly has no chance of winning the GOP nomination. The conservative base despises him (he is nicknamed "Lindsey Grahamnesty" for his support of immigration reform) and there seems to be little establishment enthusiasm for him apart from his good friend Sen. John McCain, who's been egging on the man he calls his "illegitimate son" to run for months.

So it seems quite possible that the main purpose of a Graham campaign isn't to win — but to troll Rand Paul.

Okay, the word "trolling" is uncharitable — Graham has serious substantive differences of opinion with Paul on foreign policy. Graham and McCain are now, effectively, the leaders of the GOP's interventionist wing. They've pushed for more hawkish policies in Syria and Iraq, and called for a tougher line against Putin's Russia.

But Paul is making the case that the GOP needs to rethink its recent support for interventionism. In a speech last October, Paul went at the party's foreign policy consensus "with a battering ram," as Zack Beauchamp wrote. He wants more restraint generally, less military interventionism overseas, and argues that the hawkish policies pushed by McCain and Graham are often counterproductive.

Romney confirms he's out for 2016. Interesting to see what that will do to the numbers.
Yep, looks like the establishment wants Jeb Bush as their guy (and don't want to split the vote and resources) and to line up another Clinton/Bush election where nothing will change unless we can get Rand in there.

As Romney Weighs '16 Bid, His Past Donors Commit to Jeb Bush

Quote
Closing in on a decision about whether to again run for president, Mitt Romney is finding that several past major fundraisers and donors in key states have defected to former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

The donors, in interviews with The Associated Press, said they see in Bush what they liked about Romney in 2012, namely what they believe it takes to serve successfully as president, but also something Romney could not muster in his two previous campaigns: what it takes, both in personality as a candidate and in a supporting staff, to win the White House for the GOP.

Also, the donors said, they took the former Massachusetts governor at his word when he said he would not run for president a third time.

"I've got great respect for Gov. Romney, and I busted my buns for him," said Chicago investor Craig Duchossois, whose wife contributed $250,000 to a pro-Romney super PAC while he collected tens of thousands more for Romney's last campaign. "But I have turned the page."

And beyond donors, Romney lost one of his most trusted political advisers on Thursday when veteran Iowa operative David Kochel formally joined Bush's team.

Having backed both of Romney's previous campaigns, Kochel is in line to play a senior role in Bush's 2016 campaign should he run, said Bush spokesman Kristy Campbell, who described Kochel as "one of the most respected political strategists in the country."

The defections to Bush do not, as of yet, appear so definitive as to keep Romney from the race.

There are many free agents among the major GOP donors, each with the ability to contribute personally and collect from others the hundreds of millions needed to run a modern presidential campaign. They include Woody Johnson, the owner of the New York Jets; Sheldon Adelson, the casino magnate; and hedge fund investors Paul Singer and Robert Mercer.
