4041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ponzi / Pyramid Scheme / Bubble on: April 16, 2018, 10:31:49 AM
The explanation is very clear. I have always opposed the use of Bitcoin as a Ponzi scheme, but perhaps it may be a Bubble. Of course, there are Bubbles in any financial products. This is normal, but the bitcoin's Bubble are bigger and people are more worried.

On the contrary, I have not read any where that bitcoin is a ponzi because bitcoin is not like marketing networks that you would need to introduce somebody for you to grow and for the product to grow too.

I have however read that it is a bubble and to this, even if it is a bubble; if it burst, it is going to produce something far better from it.
4042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing to Bitcoin is not that easy on: April 16, 2018, 09:13:58 AM
Have you rewritten it all from the web? I think the majority of people writing here is BTC oriented. I do not really understand the sense of this topic?

I don't believe things come easy, all has to do with hard work. I remember when I joined this forum newly, as a newbie, it was difficult for me to create a wallet, locate my post, move it, create a topic, sign up to a campaign plus avatar...lol.

Everything about life is a process including bitcoin. I'm still growing though  Grin
4043  Economy / Reputation / Re: I got red trust... what to do on: April 16, 2018, 06:50:45 AM
Really, I consider account sell more of a crime than others. It is worse and can be equalled with a newbie loaning without escrow. In crime scene, some crimes are classified as higher and prohibited while others are lower.

An attempt to sell or buy an account is already seen as having carried on with it because there is an intention thereto. A red tag on account sells or buy (if proved or confirmed) should be permanent in my view.
4044  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Stop losses - bitter sweet relationship on: April 15, 2018, 07:09:52 PM
I appreciate the responses, cheers guys!

The stop loss tool is sometimes makes you smile and happy without the decision when it actually continues to dip even after it gets triggered off and on the other hand, it leaves a bitter taste in user mouth when it just hits it and reverts back Grin By then, you would have been logged out of the market.
4045  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion: quote notifications on: April 15, 2018, 06:18:07 PM
I see some thread over 100 pages and I wonder what new could be said in such thread, yet you see new comment on the same thread although I understand that the forum is doing some cleansing .
4046  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Ideas on de-centralized regulation. on: April 15, 2018, 05:42:12 PM

To achieve this goal, the community leaders should act. We as a common people scattered worldwide, can't achieve any significance.

I agree with you in your idea and I have been thinking how this last part can be made to work. I'm saying, how will the community leaders be identified or informed on what there responsible will be to the mass of users or investors?

I however agree in the regulation of icos because it has become a corner stone to fraud.
4047  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Which country to Immigrate for making fortune in crypto currency on: April 15, 2018, 05:04:48 PM
Before I consider a permanent residency in such situation, I would consider the environment and economy of my home country and the foreign land. This is because the standard of living of a country is important, it determines the value of the currency.
4048  Economy / Economics / Re: How to calculate profit on: April 15, 2018, 01:40:02 PM
Profit = output - input
              $104 -$100
            = $4
You earned $4 within that certain period of time. Smiley Willing to be corrected if i'm wrong.

I don't think he has made any profit going by what he has put forward. He has $100 and invested in unit of $10.400 and also resold in such price,  therefore, he made no profit. In fact he lost because in this business of transfer and receive, you are always charged for every transaction made as transaction fees.

Or, maybe his post is incomplete and not clear enough.
4049  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips to survived the difficulties on market downfall on: April 15, 2018, 07:13:21 AM
Just do not think that the stock market is created in order that you earned. Think that the stock market was created in order to rob you of more money.

This is rather a wrong assumption and not business like attitude. You don't carry such assumption to the market and expect to succeed because you are likely to suspect every thing and that won't help you to make the right judgement of the market. Off course one should be careful.

We should rather see it as a ground to investment and investing rightfully with the right platform.
4050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it too late to invest on neo ico ? on: April 14, 2018, 04:31:06 PM
If you are that interested in the coin, I think you wait for exchange. The ico finished sometime ago.  So now you can buy from exchange. I'm not thinking of investing on it at the moment but it is still a good time to buy.
4051  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Popular crypto trading signals 20x cheaper on: April 14, 2018, 03:11:29 PM
Really for trading signals, some are scam or they don't just work out. The accuracy is isn't felt in the trade. Is just like in football when some sites called predicting site, do their predictions. Some luckily work while at another time, they don't.
4052  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos, why are you hoarding your sMerit? on: April 14, 2018, 09:29:21 AM
I have not worried myself much on getting merit or not but I have been on the view that merit shouldn't really come when you have made a screen filled post that will gulp one hour of reader's time to read and assimiliate or a post filled with copied links. I have believed in sensible and reasonable post.

However, I also submit that Theymos and the likes might not have given out more merits than they have got because they are actually busy but some very high ranking and known members can't give because they are more like waiting for a post made by nullious and the likes as if every member is equally gifted.

I was not surprised to see that I got a merit from a legendary member, I only knew the post has been read.
4053  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptobank Idea on: April 14, 2018, 08:50:16 AM
The crypto bank idea will be a nice one because cryptocurrency and fiat are actually not in the same physical category even crypto is money. So having a separate bank for it will give it a recognition too.

Crypterium's goal is to provide a complete vertically integrated service that encompasses the best ideas from the entire community of the world's best blockchain enthusiasts.

I also heard of this cypherium. Any further information like bounty campaign going on yet? Is going to have a great impact on cryptocurrency.
4054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to identify ICO scam ?! some important tips ! on: April 13, 2018, 08:31:24 PM
Helpful tips. I think that the number of followers from the community helps as well to tell if an ICO is a scam or not.

Ha... Number of followers can be fraud itself. Most fraudulent ico have great number of investors. Off course, if they don't have large number, that will be a basis for suspecting already. I think luck is involved here not just number of followers.
4055  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market is slowly degrading on: April 13, 2018, 02:39:52 PM
find a fast moving game plan so your coins, will not be stagnated.

The fast moving coin is usually the top ten coins and especially bitcoin and etheruem. Etheruem had a fast move 24 hours ago. Giving out more than 30% increase. This a good move and worth to be invested on.
4056  Economy / Economics / Re: market refresh or just a pump ? on: April 13, 2018, 01:49:33 PM
Hi today market goes green
as you can see in 1 houre perfomance everything changed is it the comeback or just a pump ? what you think about it what is going on ?

It is not a pump. Market is ready for an upward drive. So if you have bought when market was red, you now should expect to have some green profit. Is time for investors to smile
4057  Economy / Economics / Re: Only a mature and regulated crypto market will attract big investors. on: April 12, 2018, 02:51:22 PM
Most times I just think of buying coins that have their sperate wallets so that I can just transfer direct to the wallet to avoid leaving my coins to an exchange. In fact,  if an exchange folds up and can no longer get into operations, the investor's money is gone and he can't be indemnified because of lack of regulation.
4058  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Low activity long term BTC investing? on: April 12, 2018, 01:42:54 PM
I feel your angle. Time is actually what you are struggling with and it is well understood, some of the users have same issue too. The best you can do is to still leave your bitcoin inside the wallet, you sell when it is high and buy again when it is low. With this, you won't be bordering with always checking on your investment. You can also trade forex on a long time like a month if you like.

But, if you want to give your money to loan service, be sure it is registered.
4059  Economy / Economics / Re: Factor to Consider on: April 12, 2018, 08:07:27 AM
Scalability and new technology are very strong factor for me after the influence of the bitcoin whales. The more the bitcoin technology is improved, the better the service and the high the demand and price will automatically rise. Also, the maximum supply is always a factor.
4060  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How is bitcoin supposed to be? on: April 11, 2018, 08:57:56 PM
I really hope that all cryptocurrencies would be exempt from taxes on each trade, just like with Forex.

I think forex doesn't include tax because there are no conversion just exchange  but from fiat to fiat.

It's better in my country, Belgium, as crypto is only taxed when it's exchanged for fiat. You pay a flat rate of 33% on taxes on your profit.

Wow.... This is really high. The tax rate is outrageous. This is a reap off I must say.
