4041  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [4000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: June 25, 2014, 06:57:40 PM
yes, these reasons. and... if you really need your 6 bux a day, maybe try and get a job.
I try to set payout to once a week or once per month.

I personally have mine set to payout everyday, sometimes more than once in a day, depending the pool luck.
I don't mind paying a few cents in transaction fees to get my BTC sooner as I would rather sit on it in MY wallet than leave it on the pools wallet and something happen to the pool wallet or whatever. Better safe than sorry.

This... if I had 90 milibtc on slushis and it went down permanetly I wouldn't be happy.

The.... Bla..Bla..Bla.. you will be dead is getting old. Read the whole thread and comment please.

Yea, we will be dead, and the people in the future, will say ..." Damn BTC could have been the de facto currency, if only they thought of this "

Nothing is more important, than what you leave behind. Our legacy to our children, is what we do today.... I'd like them to say.. Wow our fore father's was wise people, look what they did.

Right, and in the year 1888, they should have been determining what the speed limit on highways (that didn't even exist yet) should be in 2014.

Give me a break.

If the useless politicians in Toronto 50 years ago built the high way they were told to build it today we wouldn't have a traffic problem.. Instead they thought like you, decided it would be a great idea to save some cash.. and now everyone hates them.  Although everyone hates all politicians sooo who cares.

4046  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ROCKMINER ASIC miner official thread on: June 25, 2014, 12:31:34 PM
Got my R-box Cheesy!!  Gave it to my friend as it was a present... he still hasn't touched it...... I gave it to him to compenstate for the hydro.. I think I am just gonna give him $100 and take it back as just watching it sit there and do nothing is annoying.
4047  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-06-24] "Prepare for backlash" says US Senator Jared Polis to BTC community on: June 25, 2014, 12:29:38 PM

yep who cares about the US , everything will move offshore if they make it to hard.

I don't think he was refering to Merica... I think he was  talking about the rest of the world attempting to kill it.  The man is our ally like it or not.
4048  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: June 24, 2014, 06:26:21 PM
Black listing coins is a horrible horrible horrible idea...

Now back on topic..BITMAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  What's up with the S3's?
4049  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sending BTC on: June 24, 2014, 03:22:25 PM
Did you checked the balance in the new address using blockchain.info/address/Youraddress.

so you can track the status.

I have, I have also checked it on my seperate HD where my one wallet is located(well...I've also got it on 6-7 USB's but that is neither here or there). It is completely offline now though.
4050  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Bought 4 S1's at the end of march... on: June 24, 2014, 03:18:48 PM
Was told I would not break even.. I have broken even and still mining, all four operational.

Soooooooooooooooooo... ya... about that mining is pointless..
4051  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 6BTC investment into mining, worth it ? on: June 24, 2014, 03:16:53 PM
Only if you are going to wait for the S3, else no.
4052  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Running multiple rockminers on: June 24, 2014, 03:14:04 PM
Does the R-box have wireless web connection?

I just bought one for a friend... I was hoping he wasn't as insanely lazy as he is.. I might end up having to set it up..  I could watch youtube like I did with my S1's.
4053  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US police departments are increasingly militarised, finds report on: June 24, 2014, 03:09:58 PM
You may ask, what kind of country would do these things to its own citizens? The answer is, the kind of country that engages in mass surveillance, has by far the largest per-capita prison population on the planet where tens-of-thousands of prisoners are kept in permanent solitary confinement, and in which being sassy to an airport homeland security goon will get you a rectal search as punishment – in short, a police state.

I fear they will solidify the police state idea very soon...

That P_50 has me hot and bothered.. let me take you out OP hehehe.
How about basing the predictions on real world money supply? Curiously, your answers are not that different!

Hum.. what?

Are you trying to get me all excited as well?
4055  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US police departments are increasingly militarised, finds report on: June 24, 2014, 01:43:18 PM
This is happening all over the world. Our own police regularly batter peoples doors in under the slenderest of pretexts. It just goes to show me that the police have gone from being protectors of us to protectors of the Government.
Where do they find these thugs who love to beat up their fellow citizens? We see them in Egypt, Turkey and anywhere else that the population try to exercise their rights. Even here with the police desire to kettle us all whether you are involved or not. Is there any redress? Not at all.
They say that like breeds like and I do know that there are some nasty people out there but to treat us all like that is an abomination. Whatever happened to the knock on the door? I had a great respect for the police when I was a lad but I am afraid they are doing themselves no favors.
Osama Bin Laden did more damage with his 9/11 attack than he could ever have imagined.

A man will a few million dollars launched an attack that would of cost trillions upon trillions to pull off?  I have issues with this idea.

I agree completely with the rest of what you said.. the media is also spining as many postive police stories as they can...  These things have me nervious.
4056  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sending BTC on: June 24, 2014, 01:36:45 PM
Bitcoin-qt, for example, will keep re-broadcasting your unconfirmed tx.

It will...?  Didn't seem so..  Transaction number never showed up on blockchain.info soo.. I gave up and did what I did.

Well, it should.
Also, if you have the same problem next time, you could use getrawtransaction <TxID> and then push the transaction on https://blockchain.info/pushtx and https://blockr.io/tx/push

Sweet, this is good info, thanks man!!

To be a BTC holder requires you have the balls of balls of balls.

Perhaps gold is best for you OP, you can touch it and it won't crash on you.  Don't expect large gains though and don't blame me when you are smashing your face off the keyboard because BTC has jumped 10x you buy in and it crashes 5 fold and end up living in a box...  You've been warned.
