And why are you selling these miners??? OH, you are "testing" them and when all "testing" is done then they are good to go right?

Ryliou,
This is what I do... works for me....
Step 1) Go into your router and change the router ip to the same subnet as your antminer... in your case set the router ip to 192.168.2.1 Step 2) Change the DHCP address range to include 192.168.2.99... maybe a range of 192.168.2.[90-149] Step 3) Save settings and reboot router. Step 4) Plug in Antminer, go to it's ip... in your case 192.168.2.99 using your favorite browser... set up your pool credentials. Step 5) Profit
Brassguy: Thanks, I'm trying that now, will post back. Hit a roadblock, I am using Verizon FIOS internet, the router use a static IP 192.168.1.1 with subnet 255.255.255.0. There's no way of changing router IP, nor can I change subnet to 255.255.254.0 to cover 192.168.2.xx. Look like the new batch S1 of IP 192.168.2.99 caused Verizon FIOS customer a lots of troubles. Router from my last Cable Company is easier to change. All with older batch S1 on 192.168.1.xx is luckier. Direct cable connection can only works for 192.168.1.xx ONLY? What's now, buy a new router to add 192.168.2.1 network? Forget the router. DIRECTLY connect your ant to your computer using a lan cable. Set PC IPV4 IP 192.168.2.254 Subnet 255.255.255.0 Gateway 192.168.2.1 (also try leaving this blank) Then from your browser go to http://192.168.2.99

1.Unplug your laptop from your lan and change the ip settings to the same subnet as your miner. -done 2.Plug your laptop into your miner -done 3.Log into the miner and change the ip settings to the settings on your lan. -My problem is at this step, media/cable unplugged and I can't ping or open miner login page.
4.plug your miner into your lan
5.change the settings on your laptop back to the subnet for your lan
6.plug your laptop back into your lan
7.log into the miner on your lan and finish the setup
I am at step 3 above, media/cable unplugged and can't connect/ping the miner. What's next?
3a. go to network adapters -> ethernet -> ipv4 properties -> set the laptop ip as 192.168.2.201 and gateway as 192.168.2.1 connect the laptop and miner directly with a single ethernet cord. go to 192.168.2.99 in browser and then change the antminer settings 3b. remember that you may need to restart your network service to make the changes take effect...in windows this might entail a reboot - Once done setup/reboot, type ipconfig in cmd prompt, it's always [Media disconnected], no IP/gateway info , so no way to ping Miner at 192.168.2.99, no brighter light on both end of cable, feel like connection isn't working. Any idea? i think i would try without setting a default gateway since u are connected directly to the ant ... default gateway is ip address of your router .. maybe be easier if you put a router between the two then router will route the packets to ur ant .. This maybe correct. I had the same issue with a WiFi bridge lately and when I did not enter any default gateway it worked.

Anybody have problems with their AntMiner Just shutting itself off Randomly ??
sounds like a faulty or underpowered psu. Is your ant overclocked? and what is your psu that you are using for it? My First Unit was a 600 Watt one ... my Any is not Over clocked at all The new Power Supply is a Coolmax ZU-700B 700 Watt Have you tried putting a +5v load on it? I have that PSU (coolmax zu-700b) and it requires a +5v load to stay running. I connected an old CDROM drive to mine and it runs 24/7 just fine. Connected a CDROM drive to it and comes up mines for like 5 minutes and still shuts itself off ... I took the power supply from a Scrypt mining box we upgraded and it ran fine in there , Unless the ANT is defective then im like not so sure about shipping to China . It sure sounds like a PSU problem. In the Setup & Troubleshoot guide, scroll down to the Troubleshooting section and follow the steps in bullet point 3 to make sure the PSU is setup/connected correctly and to test each blade individually. If each blade runs fine by itself then it's a PSU issue according to the guide. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=344970.msg3696062#msg3696062Well ... So i decided last night to try something and it seems to work at least for the last 12 hours , I hooked a mother board up to the power supply also .. and put it in bios , Now its staying on .. Weird but hopefully this works long term ! ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) Did you not do the jump wire trick?

question, i read that cgminder able to do like
MULTIPOOL
how can we do that ?
Sign up to a multipool then put the pool details in your miner configuration ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Help, after I setup the IP: 192.168.2.254, Gateway:192.168.2.1, DNS:blank/or 192.168.2.1 The IE couldn't find the AntMiner by http://192.168.2.100 (on Miner). And the Network Connection is always [Cable disconnected]. Your Antminer should be 192.168. 1.100 unless you changed it. (Actually all latest Ants ship with 192.168.1.99) So your Ip should be 192.168.1.254, gateway 192.168.1.1 subnet 255.255.255.0 EDIT: Use Advanced IP Scanner to find the actual IPs on your network. I followed both set up of 192.168.1.xx/192.168.2.xx, nothing happened. Is it possible the network card coming with S1 is bad? I have 2 light & 1 small green light blinking. Power Supply is Corsair CX600. The card is fine. Use this tool: http://www.advanced-ip-scanner.com/and scan your network for all available IP addresses then you will know what your Ants IP is.

I can just say to people, do not trust trust's feedback, at this point.
Every one launch an opinion become a reason to give a negative feedback to minewithmind.
Posts disappear, then reappear.
The ridiculous accusations aren't showed.
Minewithmind should have a positive feedback now. Not a negative one.
But I think at the very end this is not a problem for us. Keep continue. Don't mind.
So he is minewithmind and you are mine with heart? I think I will be mine with balls ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

They could be used instead of a Raspberry PI though right? So they are not completely useless to mining ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) not completely. But how many of them you might need to build a rig? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) a thousands? No I meant the paralella board instead of a Raspberry PI to control your miners. That should be possible since their are both Linux based, right?

You'll see it regulary switches to btc guild because ghash.io is instable.
why this instability happening to ghash. io? i noticed this long time ago. miners at btc guild working constantly with same speed where on gash. io is jumping between 80-100% of mining power. I noticed as well that difficulty setup by gash. io some this differs from what really should be. My guess is some sort of "regulation" of hashing power maybe? After all it is 0% fees right?

Yeah I think you should go back to the old firmware.
Why did you upgrade anyway? Was it broken?
Long story, but one has never clocked to 400 without 10% more errors than the other. They have the same cooling (lots), I've tested power supplies, switched control boards (I also got one replaced by sushi) and can't narrow it down... the only difference is the larger capacitors on the newer boards, which I noticed after breaking some off, so technically one is now broken, but is working exactly as it was before the repair. I figured the upgrade wouldn't hurt, but it hasn't helped at all. My thoughts are that you should go back to the old firmware and also do a moderate overclock something like 375 and take it from there.

Well, I would gladly pay 0.35BTC + shipping to Europe + Escrow fees.

Hi guys, I have been following adapteva's project since they started their fundraising campaing on kickstarter. Apparently their paralella boards and their epiphany chips are quite good. So can these 28nm chips mine anything at all? http://www.adapteva.com/epiphanyiv/

My First Unit was a 600 Watt one ... my Any is not Over clocked at all The new Power Supply is a Coolmax ZU-700B 700 Watt I must say that since updating the firmware from the github a few days ago my units have started to lose connection randomly and start beeping... once I log in via the webgui it stops beeping and starts hashing again with nothing in the system log... strange! I am guessing there is something wrong with your network settings. If it only starts hashing when you log in it means it is using your pc internet connection not it's own. Or at least that's what I think. I am guessing you have it on WiFi? Nope, not on wifi, on ethernet straight to the router and nothing has changed in my network settings. The thing is that it doesn't need my pc to connect to the internet, it connects on its own and hashes fine, it's just that on the last 2 evenings and this morning only one of them (not always the same one) would randomly stop hashing and start beeping. Originally I just turned it off and on again, but last night I logged in via the gui to check the log and make sure ntp client wasn't on and it just started hashing again. Then, it did the same thing this morning with nothing in the log. I have 2 machines with the same settings, connected to the same router, hashing on 1 address at the same pool... I would expect both of them to go down if it was either the pool or my internet connections or my network settings, but it's at random times and only 1 of them will go down while the other is fine... just strange and was wondering if anyone else might have noticed that... I've had them for more than a month and they've been very stable, running for days without interruption, until I did the upgrade... I'll keep an eye on them and if it continues I'll load the backup firmware and see if it makes a difference. Yeah I think you should go back to the old firmware. Why did you upgrade anyway? Was it broken?
