With such performance from Tottenham today I think arsenal will found them to easy to play. Tottenham really needs to support Antonio Conte in this winter transfer window because they really need it. Emerson can not play in the EPL he has not reached that standard yet. Spurs are still lacking a top center half to pair with Christian Romero and Eric Dier. They needs another striker to support Harry Kane.
I agree that Spurs has to find another forwarder in addition to Kane and Son. Counting on Lucas to score every time isn't guaranteed. Even Kane wasn't that top this season imo.. I find the result correct and Chelsea deserves to advance to the final game. We will see now if Liverpool could advance too without its top players. |

I think the problem with Egypt is; they aren't as solid as the other teams, yeah they've Mo Salah, but they aren't even using him in his best position. Seems to be played predominately as a center forward, which don't get me wrong he's suited to it, but playing on the right instead of the center suits him better, because he loves to cut in.
Seriously, take a look at his highlight I bet most of the highlight reels will show him cutting in, and taking a shot or passing with his left. He's been largely ineffective when Liverpool have played him as center forward, and we have better delivery than Egypt does.
One player can't do anything if the other players aren't helping, same as CR7 with Portugal, Halland and so on.. There was many critics on the coach of Egypt for his weak decisions and management.. Anyway, Nigeria deserved to win and Egypt still has a good chance to qualify. Tunisia is playing poorly right now, they even missed a penalty and they are 1 goal behind Mali. The referee is doing a weird job, trying to end the game in the 85th minute  Edit: red card, 8 minutes at least time randomly wasted then the referee ended the game at the 89th minute. He insist to end the game prematurely apparently.. I sometimes regret watching African games! |

Bologna really need to hold on to their win at the moment as it looks like Cagliari will score after putting Bologna under quite a bit of pressure. The match is almost over where currently Bologna only need to focus on defense, this is their victory even though there is no guarantee because a 1 goal lead is really not safe for any match.
Gosh, Cagliari are really scoring goals as long as I'm writing. 1-1 now, but Bologna need to come out to win today. There's still more than 15 minutes from now.
It appears that Cagliari is trying their best to get out of the relegation zone and Bologna still dealing with the negative results. Not holding the advantage and even a draw is disappointing. This is very bad news, the loss of Chiesa is a very big loss for Juventus. He did a very large amount of work on the field, neither Bernardeschi nor Kulusevski can replace Chiesa in a quality manner...

I can assume that Pogba's location will depend on whether Real Madrid can conclude a contract with Mbappe and Haaland at the same time. If yes, then this opens the door to PSG, if not, then Pogba will be a good replacement for Modric, who, in any case, will not be able to play in Real for more than one or two seasons.
I read few days ago that Haaland is not interested in joining Real Madrid if Mbappe is there since he won't be able to shine so he prefer in that case Barcelona so they will reproduce the CR7 - Messi phenomenon. For Pogba he will be a free agent and every team will accept him in if they will be able to afford his salary. I think he will play for Real Madrid or PSG next season. EFL will not investigate the Liverpool outbreak after all. They are saying Liverpool had legitimate grounds for a delay at the time of the appeal and that the evidence that was presented was sufficient.
Klopp says that the rules say that false positive players cannot play as well. The tests however have expected accuracy of 99.97%, so something is still really weird here.
They won't require to bring players from the fans after all to play a game where so many players and staff tested positive. Dunno how much games were delayed since the omicron outbreak but things don't seem to slow down worldwide... Today we have Southampton @2.1 vs Brentford @3.7. On the one hand, Lewandowski is a clear favorite for the Ballon d'Or next year for the reasons you listed, but he certainly won't get it if Poland doesn't make it to the World Cup. And the chances of such an event are pretty high. I don’t remember that in the year of the World Cup the golden ball was received by the player who did not get there. This is marketing, so even if Lewandowski is 100 times better than all the other players, he will not receive an award if he does not attend the World Cup. That would be pretty much lame and bad for him and his supporters. I know Messi was favorite in the last version of Ballon d'Or thanks to his participation and achievement with Argentina rather than how awful Barcelona was and how much he failed to adapt in PSG.. |

Lyon managed to force PSG to a draw in that match
Its more like Lyon cant win the game despite of having an early lead. I was so confident with Lyon to win that game especially after they hold it till the first half then decided to bet on that there will be no 2nd goal in this game. Honestly, I thought the visitors could win this match and the bookmakers favoured them with odds of 2.3 against 3.3... It will be interesting to see how Cagliari vs Bologna play tomorrow... I am very curious about today's French league classic, the Olympique Lyonnais - PSG game. It is a pity that many players will not be able to play in both teams. Lewandowski already has so many trophies that he hardly pays attention to new ones. Maybe he'll pay it once if he gets the Ballon d'Or, who knows  I am amazed at its performance. If he played for Bavaria as much as Müller, then he would be on a par with Ronaldo now. And Muller remains a mystery to me, in my opinion Bavaria could have long replaced him with a stronger player. He deserved Ballon d'Or and he could get it next year if he continues like that. Messi is doing miserably and CR7 is not shining as usual. Mbappe and Haaland aren't better than him. Benzema is quite good but they will not vote for him for several reasons. Muller is a second striker in Bayern and he scored 5 goals and made 16 assists in 18 games. As long as the machine is working as intended, they will continue with their strategy without much change. He is 32 now so yeah he will eventually leave the club at some point, he has another 1 year and a half in his contract. |

Another win today for milan its their third in a row with a clean sheet which didnt happen in the last four games they played really goo theo hernandez was the best player today he was there both defensively and he scored two goals now they took over the first place putting pressure on inter who will have a tough game against lazio tonight.
Milan is leading the table right now with 2 points difference from Inter which still lacks 2 games vs Bologna which was postponed in the last round, +3 points for Inter or rematch? not sure, and the 2nd one will be played in 4 hours against Lazio with a clear advantage for Inter. The question is goodbye from how many competitions? In La Liga the gap between Barca and Real Madrid is 17 points and taking on consideration that Barca still missing 1 more match then the difference is like 5 games...huge gap. Regarding Copa Del Rey, they were lucky to survive vs unknown team. Supercopa semifinal will be played vs Real Madrid. Europa League remains the most important competition to play but I cannot guarantee with such poor performance to be able to play finals. |

Indeed, Barcelona has to score first and even if they do it they have to avoid a last minute surprise since Granada as you said is quite hard team.
