4041  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Easy Ways to Improve Your Cryptocurrency Trading Profits on: January 18, 2020, 04:03:53 PM

if you now are trying to improve your trading profits then that means you already learned how to read charts effectively. why would you consider yourself newbie still?

improving trading profits is more advance than learning to trade itself.

Quote
Trade With a Multiplier
This would be an easy way to get quickly liquidated too lol. People shouldn't call using margin an easy way to get profit. Trading on margin is extremely risky and for a newbie without proper risk management, it's just an accelerated way to wipe out their trading balance.

Trading on shorts, yes that's a good tip because a lot of people might not know that they can profit from downward movement too. Short selling might not be intuitive at first but it's not that hard to understand. It's more clever to just short when you feel it's the top rather than wait for the dump and buy lower which would take more time.

its not about when we feel like its the ath price, it varies to the time frame you are trading and what the indicators are telling you in that particular time frame.  everything has risk but make sense to use "multiplier"in bear markets.  leverage like they say amplifies the risks.

4042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PERODIUM] Perodium world first cryptocurrency that support Tron Dapps [PRD on: January 18, 2020, 03:06:16 PM

the staking program of this project is really good. i just don't see much users supporting it. but PRD is now on poloniDEX. (TRXmarket)

are there not many tron users here? why is this thread not gaining attention from the tron community as there are no posts coming from them? how are you going to make this tron token utilized by many? because without users on your platform, it would be too difficult to increase its value in the market.

TRON is misrepresented due to Sun's misadventure. though you can see how solid the project is and even has plans for private transactions, it would be hard for people to invest tron until they see the price goes enough for them to believe its worth.
4043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why will you invest in something you know nothing about? on: January 17, 2020, 06:48:57 PM

there are people who are use to keep riding the pump though. they don't need to know anything about the coin or the project, all they need to know is that its pumping. and there are also who just listen to the users shilling a coin. you get rekt most of the time when you do this but there are pretty exceptional like the project SNX.
i didn't listen when somebody shills for this project, i just knew i would have bought more of it. still i have no idea about the project.
4044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Free coins from yobit. on: January 17, 2020, 05:30:05 PM

if you mean this freecoin https://yobit.net/en/freecoins/  its not gong to give you a lot.

if you have a lot of time to collect it, you can but it won't make them valuable. what you can do is pick the ones which has value like DOGE.  i go over there but that's the only i can see that might have better future for being distributed free, its not even sent as 1 DOGE but a fraction of it.
4045  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum reach the 1400$ mark this year? on: January 17, 2020, 04:53:42 PM

I believe, like many, that this year will be very good for the crypto world. Assuming that the adoption of cryptocurrencies increases considerably this year, is it possible to see Ethereum surpass the $1400 mark?

I am also hoping for it to happen. If bitcoin makes a bull run, there is a high possibility that it will pull altcoins as well to a new height just like what happened in 2017. But that is also subject to how the world will accept Ethereum 2.0 which is the POS.

if ETH wouldn't update to POS i think eth can go more than $1400, probably even $2K+. that POS will solve the scalability as they said it will but its not going to help its price go up. look how the price had dropped when they announced the fork. if ETH will remains as is with POW, the better its price will be. Vitalik sent the message that its meant to be POW but with POS it means ETH will be earned easily and can be dumped right away.
4046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are mainstream events linked to crypto's price movement on the market? on: January 17, 2020, 03:28:52 PM

crypto is almost going mainstream too, we can not isolate crypto from other mainstream events specially if facebook is going to launch a currency using the same technology like blockchain. we're lucky to have those events affecting the price, its going to give you profit. we do hope for more adoption of crypto and technology advancements deserved to be on media and events.
4047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at Gas Stations on: January 17, 2020, 02:42:30 PM
All I would say is why do we need another Altcoin diversification which could pave way for another unnecessary trading or scam kind of thing if the team members run away with the money? ICOs have possibly been one of the smartest scams which were happening over in the cryptocurrency industry in the 2017-18 era. Many companies which weren't really well aware of the technology have been starting up various ICOs and has scammed newbie investors who have thought that as a way to get rich quickly. I don't really have a good solid state of opinion on majority of the stablecoins, but some are quite really good and have the proof of their fiat funds.

Why should a company create a token separately for gas when we have Bitcoin with us? Bitcoin is meant to be used as a currency and we could use them in gas stations if they really accept these currencies. All we need is the adoption and I believe they are not really far away. Imagine a world where gas station accepts bitcoin and the user pays their charges in bitcoin! Once when the station got to receive the money, fuel would be filled by then! Why should we create an unnecessary token here which could pave way for further scams when they were traded badly? Another point is that, will everyone use the same token?

Good point. Still, a proprietary token might become useful for tracking gas sales and other sorts of stuff. It could also reduce the burden on the main Bitcoin blockchain, as transaction processing is done on a much scalable chain (in this case, Ethereum). The ICO days of 2017 greatly introduced new ideas to the industry (although I'd have to admit that most projects were scams). In today's regulated (sort of) crypto world, a company could simply launch an STO to raise funds for this kind of business model. Gas stations could use a separate ERC-20 token that would give perks to customers, and more. Still though, it's possible that a mainstream company would want to use an existent cryptocurrency that's capable of processing large TPS in a short time frame. They could either use Bitcoin's Lightning Network or Dash's "InstantSend" feature for settling payments at Gas Stations. The possibilities are endless here.

A full-serve gas station with an automated cashier accepting crypto payments seems to be quite revolutionary in the transportation industry. But for something like this to become a reality in the future, there needs to be demand from people in the mainstream world. At least, the idea is there. We'll have to wait and see if a mainstream company becomes interested in accepting crypto payments at Gas Stations for the benefit of all. Just my thoughts Grin

exactly the point. if merchants are accepting BTC, gas stations can. BTC has always been a better coin to pay since it can directly be turned into cash for merchants, it only needs 3rd party app to start accepting it. we don't need another token for this, it will only complicate more we already have enough pile of it to sort out which can turn scam. the easiest and safest is BTC.

4048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China Government Cryptocurrency on: January 16, 2020, 08:24:57 PM
Actually it is good for a country to make its own crypto. Aside from making it easier to save money in the future, you don't need to bother paying with your ordinary wallet.
I came to think, if DCEP can be owned by anyone other than in China, maybe later DCEP can gradually control the world economy? We know that China is actively becoming a leader in all aspects.
but it requires adjustments that may take a long time for everyone in the country to use crypto and begin to leave fiat. indeed the benefits are also great, and banks of a country will be greatly helped by the existence of this technology. but the success of a country's crypto is how it is used by all people.

majority of the places in the mainland as far as i know is already cashless. people in china are using phones to but things they need at home. the beggars in china are even using alipay to accept few change from passersby - and i'm not kidding i saw this on facebook video.

digital currency and cryptocurrency will likely go together in china after all they do have exchanges there. confusing as they are that btc is banned, people are into BTC.
4049  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: one mainstream hardfork every 10 years is ok on: January 16, 2020, 07:24:40 PM
its going to be harder to divide the miners though. but its still possible that another hardfork can be done for whatever purpose it may be other than wanting free money. i wouldn't want to see another fork that will rank until the first top 10 has the prefix name Bitcoin on it and the 11th place is the ETH. but it would be acceptable to fork to avoid the quantum computing threat if its really possible.
4050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reality of Crypto Winter and what to expect from now on on: January 16, 2020, 06:42:13 PM
coins that are left today are still in the exchange and has the volume to it then it will still be in the future. we can see there are lots of coins still in the market that you can't believe they are still alive.

Adoption is quite slow, but I like what you're saying and wishing that it would be accelerated. Looking at it from afar, you could see that adoption we already have especially in Bitcoin is quite large now.  The bulls are taking the tables slowly like right now BTC = 8.5k USD. While this is still the initiation of the year 2020, we might have some more in the half of the year. 10k breach or push it up to 15k?

many are expecting more than $15K. if adoption is slower but the striking initiative of governments right now to be using digital currencies may accelerates the adoption that its possible we can already start buying anything with an app where BTC can be turned into a currency.
4051  Other / Off-topic / Re: your internet costs and income on: January 16, 2020, 06:01:46 PM
In my country the internet and telephony are cheap. The internet at home is under 10 EUR/month (450Mbps d/l) unlimited GB and the mobile package is less than 5 EUR/month with 2? GB allowed to d/l.

I have one of the cheapest options for phone - a lot of internet and talking time - because the coverage at the country side is not so great. But it's the package that suits me best.

we basically pay almost exact amount but my access is just about 2Mbps. i got used to how slow my internet now after all it still can access exchanges. its still considered cheap in my country.  i can use my smartphone which is much cheaper that could only cost about $10 month but its just going to be me that will access it. $10 is affordable for someone who earns online.

if you earn from cryptocurrency and pay your internet access with the money you get in crypto, you might wanna try your mobile devices as its cheap.
4052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hottest alts of 2020 on: January 16, 2020, 03:05:16 PM
The hottest altcoins are already listed below. you take doge out, it has no use case and for all we care about it. it will be delisted on exchanges soon.

What do you think the hottest alts will be this year?

Very interested in getting strong opinions on this.

Why dont you tell us your opinion first? If you are asking this way, everyone will obviously shill their own bags. But yea lets give it a try, my top picks are:

1. Dogecoin
2. Mooncoin
3. Venezuelan Petro
4. PotCoin
5. TrumpCoin
6. PutinCoin and Putin Classic
7. Whoppercoin
8. Unobtanium
9. Cat Coins
10. Useless Ethereum Token

Edit:

Sorry forgot about:

11. UFOCoin and 12. F*** Token

I doubt all these coins you listed are well recognized, you can't compares these coins on your list with coins like ethereum, chainlink, bnb token, bitcoincash, bitcoin diamond, monero, zcash, digibyte etc, you need to readjust your portfolio mate

your list will get you nowhere but becoming homeless next year.  you are missing PotCoin. if there is anything else where you put your money on, its potcoin. forget about diversifying investment, its for newbies advice. i'm putting it all on potcoin for its all that i need that can beat BTC on top.

15 JUNARY 2019
15 JUNARY 2020

One year has passed since members of the Cryptopia site were defrauded
Do not call it a hacker as they claim
I call it a scam
We demand the imprisonment of the site owner

true scam. i only have shitcoins there i consider it loss already, if there is a chance i'd be interested to convert it to BTC it will still amount to 0.02BTC.

a year since, nothing happens. i guess we can all just forget the coins. if there is anything to be learned its still the one advise we kept reading in this forum. its to never again store coins on exchanges but hey we trade all day!!
4054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance WIN campaign fraud on: January 15, 2020, 07:39:43 PM
i'm also wondering how he found out these emails are fake. but believing no one in the right mind will create an email that starts with 7x*** or ?y***  most of the users will use gmail. so its surprising no one owns a gmail who won 50K WIN. however  the comments in the video says that is a scam youtube channel, this might not be the real binance youtube channel.

do you really think that the email is 7x***? binance needs to hide the full email for users safety.
so let's take an example like you join binance contest but your full email will be shown into the youtube video then i think many people will try to send you a phishing email

no but they must show 7x****@gmail and NOT  7x***@***.com  i don't think anyone will send a phishing email to someone whos email is 7x***@gmail.com.

it still safe to show 7x***@gmail.com or something like ?7***@yandex.com so i don't know why they would have to do that. its non of my concern how they analyse it but this binance youtube channel is most likely a fake anyway.
4055  Economy / Reputation / Re: [DANGER] Bounty Manager who works with scammers. on: January 15, 2020, 07:17:15 PM

he had done numerous campaigns in the past, not any of them were materialized. nothing can be done though unless DT takes action.
you can only warn the participants not to join the campaign since there is already a proven plagiarism of their whitepaper. seem very conclusive and the fact that there is no team shown to their website. this can only mean the high possibility of the team to scam bounty hunters and investors.
4056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will not replace fiat currency on: January 15, 2020, 06:49:22 PM

we all knew that since crypto isn't accepted offline. we all need the fiat unless government will force all to just use crypto.
countries today are creating digital fiat currency as well like China and some countries are already following so eventually cryptocurrency and digital fiat will co-exist. they will be used widely because they are government backed digital currency which obviously considered fiat.
4057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to invest in Tezos in 2020 on: January 15, 2020, 06:07:36 PM
Well!! The crypto market is booming really well in the crypto space, as one of the altcoin called tezos is performing really good.

Several crypto experts assume that tezos have the potential to the its show ability in the upcoming years.
Read https://coinpedia.org/price-prediction/tezos-xtz-price-prediction/

Let me know your point of view on this?
My own personal point is never to invest on a coin because of its staking ability, is there any use case for tezos project? If yes then that is enough to invest on it, many staking coins have became worthless because they only offer staking feature

While its true there are also advantages to it.  Tezos price had gone up, its going to attract more stakers who will try to buy more of it.  Its not that difficult to see that its the profit they want when altcoins are in bulls. I'm not a supporter myself but I guess the glory of that Tim Draper who supported this project must have positive attraction to those people.
4058  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any further forecast? on: January 14, 2020, 05:10:57 PM

you should be checking the weekly chart of BTC/USDT because i believe it would have to be higher than 10K before we see some dumps. i could be wrong with this. but if there will be dumps, its just bits. these dumps won't even go below 8k due to strong support. and i really believe the near halving is what drives this price. nothing more technical i can give as i'm not that of an expert but weekly charts is too far from signaling me to short.
4059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: End to the Craig Wright FUD in less than a month - 3rd Feb 2020 on: January 14, 2020, 04:20:03 PM

him not proving he has the control over satoshi's BTC will not end his scam but he might just prove he has the BSV coins in control that's it. and that will give the approval of his BSV followers. playing dumb will save him from it by showing his certificate proving his is satoshi. its sure that he can't provide a sign message. exciting to see how this will go this feb 3.
4060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance WIN campaign fraud on: January 14, 2020, 03:03:23 PM
If you look carefully at the winners, you will see that almost all of them have fake email addresses.
Look carefully at email addresses Smiley (52.seconds)

I'm lost here, how did you figure out most of those are fake addresses?
That aside, it was pretty lame how they did that, one of the winners is the empty ID field

i'm also wondering how he found out these emails are fake. but believing no one in the right mind will create an email that starts with 7x*** or ?y***  most of the users will use gmail. so its surprising no one owns a gmail who won 50K WIN. however  the comments in the video says that is a scam youtube channel, this might not be the real binance youtube channel.
