Giving my advance pick, I lose my bet on the Lakers in game 5 but I'll still root for them in game 6 to in and cover.

Early lean, Lakers -5.5, I got it doubled to win back my lose in game 5.

Yeah, it's better to be early because the game also will be earlier later.
Damn, it was just -5.5.
That's why I took it, I'll continue betting on the Lakers, just like what you did with your Miami Heat.  Grin

Good luck to your bet.

I am still going against the flow. I want a Game 7.  Grin
Also, the total score is just 214.5. Are they trying to give away money?  Grin
I will be betting for "over" here but I will separate it now. The chances of Lebron coming back strong is high.

Miami ML
Over 214.5

I like game 7 but that would cost me money, so no, no game 7.
4042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites accepting bets from countries where gambling is illegal. on: October 11, 2020, 09:05:28 AM
Signing up on a site against your country says it all it's a crime against the site and if found guilty such customer don't deserve any apology or sort of refund. Bookies are everywhere why risk your money

Trust me or not, most people do it just because their country prohibits them from gambling based on the law and constitution made there and been followed for decades. They just can't gamble because they're helpless here, but if a website doesn't have their country's name, they register there and start gambling without thinking that what they're breaking is their country's law and gambling is illegal at their place.

Exactly, that's the reality, and that's how gamblers think.

Crypto casinos has actually open opportunity for gamblers who have no chance of gambling in fiat casinos because it's ban in their country, and since crypto casinos does not require KYC, they even brag they are letting you gamble anonymously, so we enjoyed gambling on their site, and we are actually not thinking of the risk anymore though we are aware.
4043  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 Vaccine Will Cause Bitcoin Crash on: October 11, 2020, 07:05:30 AM
The COVID-19 vaccine can never cause a bitcoin crash while everyone relies on vaccines to cure the virus Bitcoin can't crash.
It will certainly not affect bitcoin in a negative way, if bitcoin will crash, that's when the virus has spread and cause a pandemic that we are experiencing now.
The demand for Bitcoin is increasing day by day the impact of the virus could be much lower on the country's economy and gold market stocks as they depend on the country's economy. But Bitcoin will rise above the demand of the decentralized market bitcoin is currently in high demand due to the virus so it does not have a bad effect.
I know the demand has increase but I would not think it's on a daily basis as there's no massive adoption yet, majority of us are still using bitcoin for investment and trading purposes only. If there's a big online shopping store like amazon and it's biggest competitors will accept bitcoin, then most likely we will see that kind of increase of demand.

We never know, but if AD would indeed not available in game 6 then I believe Miami will have an edge and Butler would not be having a problem attacking inside, and Bam as well.  But according to this article, Davis would play, so Lakers are still intact.

https://clutchpoints.com/lakers-news-anthony-davis-reveals-update-on-his-game-6-status-for-lakers/

Quote
The Los Angeles Lakers were given a proper scare in Game 5 on Friday against the Miami Heat, with Anthony Davis appearing to have sustained a significant ankle injury that kept him on the floor for a a couple of minutes.

As it turns out, however, it was nothing but a minor tweak, and according to Davis himself, he should be good to go for Game 6:

Will AD be able to play at his fullest though? Now that Bam is also on the court, someone would have to guard him well too.

I believe he can still play, he played with pain in game 5 and manage to score 28 points and 12 rebounds, that doesn't seem look like he has a problem with his heel, and that update was coming from Davis so he is still good to go, nothing to worry.

Good, it's good news for the Lakers if AD can play because they really need him in the floor, it not they Butler will have his way going inside with no one to challenge. I just rewatch the highlights, it seems that the supporting cast of Lakers underperformed when it was needed. Damn, Danny Green's three point was clearly short, it was a well design play, and then Morris? WTF?

And the post interview, Butler was obviously very very tired, we don't know how long can he manage and play and bring Miami to another championship

Lakers already have the edge here, Butler has been playing well but he will be exhausted, with Lakers we have Lebron and Davis who are consistent in their scoring, so I think they will adjust and probably win in game 6.
4046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 10, 2020, 07:04:14 AM
111-108

A surprise. The game early dominated by the Heat. And they've won game 5.

Do you think that game 6 isn't going to be the last match? and they will tie this?

The results of game 6 will depend on Anthony Davis' heel problem and how this might affect his performance. However, I speculate that he might have done everything with it and could do no more for game 6.

Similar to @Reid, I will be brave and bet the moneyline for the Heat hehehe.

I thought Davis was find, the injury happen when he only scored 8 points and when he came back he added 20 points in his previous 8 points, so it was not really bad, there's evidence that he was hurt with the way he played.

We will get an update about that heel here https://www.rotoworld.com/basketball/nba/player/29801/anthony-davis

I've got Bron 20+pts triple-double tonight, Lakers to close out the series and win their 18th championship (one more than Boston).

Sorry about that man.
I have almost the same bet builder but Lebron needs to attack at 4th neglecting him to have more assists.
Also, Davis is slowing pace with those foot problems. He gets a lot of assists when the big guy is active.

Delicious.
Miami Heat won and over 216.5.
That was some nerve-racking game and my heart beat so fast at that last minute.
All are exhausted and Morris cannot think straight making a bad pass that closed the chance for the Lakers.
Congratulations to all the winners.

That's nice Reid, congrats, Lakers never had a chance to cover the spread even if they win as it's all Miami in this game. Wow, Lakers not covering in 4 straight games already, what can we expect in game 6 here?
4048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: October 09, 2020, 01:00:46 PM
Game 5 NBA FINALS.

Lakers wearing the Black Mamba uniform might spark speculation that they will finish the series tonight, and this is the first time I will go with the crowd when betting, I saw how the heat would respond on the Lakers, win some as though they loss but they still cover the spread.

So tonight, I'm expecting the last game of the series and I believe Lakers wins and covers.

Lakers -7

4050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are people giving up on Bitcoin too quickly? on: October 09, 2020, 03:13:59 AM
I have been reading many posts that show signs to be that people are giving up on Bitcoin's technical development to become an actual currency, and also shows signs to be ready to sell after the next surge to ATH.

I believe it's too soon. Bitcoin's benefit for improvement outweighs the cost in my opinion.

HODL!

Yep, there are people who think that way but that would not result for the market to crash, been here for many years and I've seen a lot of crash look alike but I was so optimistic that the market will recover and I was right. Thing is, when some people are selling, expect there are also a group of people who are willing to buy as not everyone thinks the same in a given market situation.

I'm afraid that would not happen as vegas will turn things around and this game will go game 6 or 7..

Too much of the speculation like that.

You can see if there something wrong with that game. The next game won't be a fixed match.

Players are serious in every game. Even refs like to do some shit, they can't just do it easily. I don't know why speculation of Vegas turning things around should be involved here. I will be with you on your speculation if Game 5 will show us a shitty game but even if the Heat will win that game, it depends on how the game was played before I called it as a rigged although I'm not convinced on that possibility.

Lakers will end the series no matter what the point spread is, or not matter if Heat will cover again, so it's up to us if we still trust the Heat to cover the spread but I think, all momentum now is in the Lakers as they were so confident in the last game and they are in a mission to finish this series early.

I'm not finalizing my pick yet but I'm seeing this game will go over.
4053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Proof of pure luck on: October 08, 2020, 10:38:43 PM
Few months in the gambling industry and I've never seen anyone ever questioning: How am I supposed to be sure that what am I playing is based on pure luck?

The owners could have simply programmed the numbers in a way to always be profitable, but not 100% lucky. The problem is that even if the admins were honest and said that the numbers of their game are getting generated randomly, there's no proof that they do. You still have to trust them and since we're talking about entrepreneurs, we can't be sure they're not lying. By making the program open source, yes, you do have made a big step, but still, the client can't view the back-end's code to check that the files are the open sourced ones.
[...]
I'm sorry but being provably fair doesn't mean being perfectly random.
With this system, you can still chose combinations less often played by users. For example it's well known people like to play dates of birth in this kind of games or figures deemed to be lucky numbers as 7, 1, 13, etc

and tbh, not many people are really bothering the provable fairness if they are known and reputable casinos here. as what dunfida is saying, it is just a headache if you want to investigate their backdoors.
and how many people do you think are verifying their bets? i guess not so many. maybe one can check once or twice just to check the site.
but most of us are too lazy to verify the bet every time we roll. not practical esp if you are playing in a reputable casino.
Exactly, most of us will just trust on the reputation of the site. The logic is simple, if that site has thousands or 100 of thousands of gamblers, there are certainly few who are checking the fairness of the site, so majority of us will just leave it to them to do the job and we just bet and hope we got lucky.

No one really questions the provably fairness of the site as long as it's a reputable site.

Young ones with confidence already. .

I hope that those young player's confidence will still be the same once they now played in a pressured environment.

They didn't feel yet the pressure of playing against the big crowd as they are like playing in a practice.

These kids have a future. I just hope they will be utilized more.
Yep, playoff environment outside the bubble is very different from the inside. I agree there's less pressure competing in finals this year, and so the young Heat haven't felt what the real NBA finals is. I bet they won't make it to the finals again next year again, not unless if they'll improve their roster by acquiring a legitimate big man. Bam is way too undersized to fill the center position.

My honest opinion about this series is that, it's obviously a mismatch, the reason why the NBA was suffering from the all time low tv ratings on game 1 of the NBA finals.

The question is which team in the East would match the Lakers considering the best teams fall down against the Miami Heat. 1st round series - Miami Heat swept Indiana Pacers, 2nd round- Bucks best team in the NBA lucky to won one game against Heat, ECF, Heat won 4-2. I guess Heat deserves the credit here, Lebron built a super team and he was again successful this time with the Lakers.

Heat had so much to improve, they can get another superstar next season to pair with Jimmy and they'll be competitive in the NBA Finals if they'll ever come back.

I agree that the bubble is in no way indicative of how the next season will play out.  Everything was played on neutral courts so it leveled out the home field advantage for the top 1-4 teams.  I dont know who in the east will compete with the west but Remember the nets will be getting Kevin durant and kyrie back to add to their team.  If healthy that team is going to be sick.

They will be a huge threat "if" Durant and Irving will be able to stay healthy until the playoffs.

Durant coming from injury, we don't know if he is still the same Kevin Durant.
Kyrie Irving also is not consistent, very fragile, we don't know when he will be injured or if he can complete the NBA playoffs.
Hopefully Nets would be fully Healthy, that's all I wish to see a great playoffs next season.

For now, I must say advance congratulations to the Lakers, they'll certainly end the series in 5.

@rdbase
I didn't mean about how much total goals will be rather I was looking for how much matches will be which I was confused about for a while.

Some of the suggestions to monitor the scores from games and rounds thread are  soccerstats.com and https://www.flashscore.com/.

I'm using sofascore android app which I think better than using a web version; haven't checked uf flashscore have their app though.

@BetBTC
Thanks a lot. I was confused as according to my timezone, Valencia vs Real Betis match is also in Sunday. However, I now have got the exact number of matches through sofascore app.
Ah I see. Okay yes I use sofascore as well to see how many matches there are and just add them all up when they are completed.
I dont see the point of having an app just to see how many goals were scored live as with any match there is additional time and a live score is not a final score in which betbtc bases their results of the competition on.
Just not to be lazy and get out the calculator fellow competitors. Cheesy

Cheers as we have 60 goals right on the dot with 1 match for each of the leagues(except for the bundesliga which only had two today) to complete.

somuchee is very kind to PM a good site to follow the total goals, try https://www.goal.com/en/live-scores also, it's easier to check the scores.
4060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: October 04, 2020, 01:27:07 PM
There's one listed in the OP but this one which is the latest is different.

https://www.oddschecker.com/us/insight/boxing/boxing/20200927-boxing-odds-conor-mcgregor-vs-manny-pacquiao-betting-breakdown

image album upload

There's a little improvement of the odds if you'll favor Manny Pacquiao to win this fight, though not so attractive but if you like making easy money, you should go for Manny Pacquiao here, all the time.

This is just crazy. Given the odds, I don't think that anyone will make a bet in favor of Manny. If you put $100, then you may get around $10 as profit. But there is always a chance of an upset. McGregor is a very talented fighter and he do have a good chance in this fight. It is up to you guys to decide whether you want to risk $100, just for $10. IMO, the risk is too high and the potential returns are too low.

More than 10% of return is not low if you are sure enough that it's a one sided fight, and it's what would really happen here, though it's just an exhibition fight, I just doubt Conor McGregor could even win one round.
