4041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest threats to Bitcoin prices in next 12 months on: August 31, 2017, 10:18:35 PM
And more importantly when?

I subscribe  to another financial site concerning house prices and the economy, a few of them have got cold feel over bitcoin, not me I might add Smiley

First, this topic must be in the Speculation thread, I think. Bitcoin is being threatened by other digital currencies, I know there are a lot of reasons why it won't but I think because of it the bitcoin will be having a part where it is weak but still, it is at the peak but not that steong unlike now.
4042  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL]WeiMixer.com Ethereum Mixer | Signature Campaign | $3/post | Jr. and Above on: August 31, 2017, 10:02:18 PM
@ReLieD : You don't have anything to argue as you were doing it purposely. My advice for you, going forward don't put yourself into such embarrassing situations. I have no personal issues with you but try to understand that, OP has started this campaign to promote his project and he is paying the participants for wearing the signatures. OP must be expecting that, participants will make the posts throughout this forum and ultimately there will be a promotion of his project. Posts in this thread will be less effective in terms of promotion of the OP's project and if you are getting paid for it then its wrong. I have explained all this in details, I hope you will understand it. If not then PM this newbie, I will explain it again. By the way, anyone can increase their rank on this forum just by spamming like you. PERIOD.

I think this issue must be dropped. The more you reply here, the more he will be replying you, I think if you have something to say to him, better say it in a PM and not here in the thread. We are making this thread full of issues and spams, if there will be a judge here, that will be the campaign manager and not you three. Please stop replying in this thread unless it is related to the signature Campaign or queries about the Services of what we are campaigning today. Thank you, good day.
4043  Economy / Speculation / Re: Record $4,739 Bitcoin Price Lifts Market to $170 Billion on: August 31, 2017, 06:44:10 PM
This is great news. I remember earlier this year someone posted that btc would hit 5000. We all thought they were crazy, but we are almost there Smiley

This is like a dream to old users and investors since we are all sticked to the common price $2000. Ever since the fork has ended, the price goes up rapidly and everyone is really amused. I think we will not be reaching that price this month but in the last month, we will be seeing an ATH at the price line of $5000.
4044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: August 31, 2017, 09:14:58 AM
We all know that bitcoin is not easy as we know now. We encounter different bitcoin strategies on how we can earn btc. I think in a college student we can teach them on how to earn and how to join bitcoin. But in a kids below 15 years of age we can told them what is the meaning of bitcoin and how to use. For them to know in case of emergency we can easily send money through btc.

Young generation these day connected with internet, they learn fast about technology and making money. If they learn about btc benefit and how to use it, sure they will love it. but the problem is they are distracted by lot of online contents which make them lose there focus on making money. Best way to explain btc may be a presentation or online tutorial will not be bad idea to achieve this task.

I agree that young children now are connected to the internet, the thing is that is common to them. But I don't see them getting interested in such earning money because we all know that young people nowadays are bust satisfying themselves with games and videos than earning money,
4045  Local / Pamilihan / Re: May alam ka bang Legit bitcoin site? on: August 31, 2017, 04:57:55 AM

Napakaraming ways to earn bitcoin, skills, freelancing etc.
4046  Economy / Economics / Re: How to invest in bitcoin? on: August 31, 2017, 04:02:18 AM
I have seen many ways to earn bitcoin, and still not familiar with some of it. I am a student and I wanna ask how to invest in bitcoin, and if students like me are capable of doing that already?

Please share your thoughts. Thanks.
how to invest bitcoin is you buy bitcoin today and open your bitcoin wallet a few years later and you will get doubled profit because it has invested bitcoin and bitcoin price always up

That is more like holding than investing. There are a lot of sites where you can invest bitcoin, it is either an digital currency exchanger or either a gambling site. If you are a student, I suggest you capitalize a money that a gambling or exchanger site can accept as a investment.
4047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: So successful it needs to be changed? on: August 31, 2017, 03:55:26 AM
If Bitcoin want to survive in the long term future, then it needs to adapt with the changing times. For example, Satoshi failed to predict that so many people would use Bitcoin. That's the reason why he limited the block size at 1 MB. But as we can see, Bitcoin will not survive for long if we stick to this limit.

Satoshi didn't predict any future users. He said that either there will be a lot of transactions in the future or there will be none. We can say that he either predicted a lot of users or did not, still, he left bitcoin. But yeah, bitcoin cannot be left not tweaked for the following changes and with a lot of incoming and future users. Keep the BIPs coming, let people keep talking to make bitcoin good.

Hmm.. Yeah... I remember reading it somewhere. So he was confident about his invention. But then I am surprised as to why he kept the block size at 1 MB. For example, VISA/MASTER processes more than 2,000 transactions every second. If Satoshi wanted Bitcoin to challenge VISA, then he should have found a way to accommodate large number of transactions.

Mayve that time the users are still small and the problem do not lie on the transactions. Now that the users are alot more than the past users, this is the main problem now. If we take Bitcoin Cash as a reference, we can say that the vision of Satoshi Nakamoto includes a lot of users with a good transactions.

Payments sent to those who qualified.

Its likely noone will rank up if member or higher since i only have jr member slots open.

Like you said that this signature campaign have only jr members slots that are open. Can I join sir?

Piece of advice. Improve your post quality. Post more often on Bitcoin Discussion, Economics, Speculation, or any other board except on the Off topic or Others Board. You can see on the rules what board yahoo does not pay on the OP. Avoid them but I am not telling you to not post on those boards at all.

Minimize posting on the Local thread, though yahoo accepts posts from local thread, he is not the only campaign manager around so you might end up applying to those campaigns that are not managed by yahoo.

Pinoy din ako. Just an advice that will greatly help you in the future.

Well there are still people who are trying make themselves used to this forum. An advice you can read in some threads is to stick in your local boards if you can't really speak english that well. We can't just force to post on those thread if you don't really know what to say and may lead you up spamming.

4050  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: So successful it needs to be changed? on: August 31, 2017, 02:48:41 AM

Many people are being nervous everytime they heard the word fork, but for me it is a good sound. Bitcoin is being popular as the time passes and many more people are using it. It is really necessary to make some changes so bitcoin can take all of those users. The reason there are BIPs is because of this. Bitcoin is like a brain, there is still a lot of upgrade we just don't know how and when it will be upgrading we just need to try and try again.
4051  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need advice for bitcoin wallet.. on: August 30, 2017, 02:42:39 PM
Use offline wallet so you do not have to worry about your bitcoin security. because right now the wallet exchange is not believed anymore since the BTC-e case. I have switched all btc assets into my personal wallet

bitcoin exhangers are not that trusted lately since many exchangers have done scamming many costumers and scammed a lot of bitcoins. You are not holding your Private Key that is why you can say that you do not manage your own Bitcoins. I use Electrum because it is a great Bitcoin wallet, in terms of exchanger, I use Coins.ph because it is very efficient to use especially in my country.
4052  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fees are too low! on: August 30, 2017, 02:06:44 PM
Have a heart for the poor miners.

edit 20sat/b is way too low.

I think Miners now are thinking and caring about the bitcoin users that is transacting a low number of bitcoins, you know, the ones that complain about the transactions having a great miners fee. Users must be thankful the miner's agreed to this.
4053  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL]WeiMixer.com Ethereum Mixer | Signature Campaign | $3/post | Jr. and Above on: August 30, 2017, 12:20:24 PM
Hey guys are you not worried that the post count did not reset for this week? Because it would be a lot of trouble for the campaign manager if he forgot to reset it back to zero. I just hope it won't be be bad on our side.

I messaged OP but didn't get any response from him nor he has come online after pay day..He should make announcement on the thread.
I believe this is not a big issue as he give payments for last week he has all data so he can manage this again for next week easily but setting bot is more good for him hope he will fix this in next few days because new set up and things always need time to give perfect results
Exactly , he has the post count so he just has to subtract the last post of the week to the last post of the previous week inorder to get the post count of the current week

We do not need to worry because I think WeiMixer will not be organizing the campaign if he can't manage it, either way, as stated and quoted, he has the post count so this will not be a problem. We received the payment in the previous week without a problem, have some faith.
4054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Ransom on: August 30, 2017, 12:53:57 AM
What if you had, let's say....5000 Bitcoins in your custody and suddenly someone demanded it as a ransom in exchange for someone very important to you, would you make the exchange?

The first question here is how did that kidnapper knew I have a lot of Bitcoins. Second, I don't need to exchange my bitcoins because he is demanding for bitcoin and not for fiat, either way, I will not find any exchanger that will be exchanging that massive number of bitcoins.
4055  Local / Pamilihan / Re: BITCOINTALK APP FOR MOBILE PHONES? on: August 30, 2017, 12:19:51 AM

4056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi just sold his mined Bitcoins from 2010 on: August 30, 2017, 12:03:19 AM
Alright... sorry for the clickbait but it looks like some very very early early adopter is cashing out

https://blockchain.info/tx/4b60dc9cd051f4489420018bf52ead4f1f1377b0e0b4f2bc552f31b2649230ab

Most were mined beginning of 2010 which at the time bitcoin had no value.

Too late for the sorry isn't it. Though I also think this is not a cash out but someone making his bitcoins secure. Still that is a lot of Bitcoins there. I guess there are really a lot of people we don't know of that has a massive number of Bitcoins.
4057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: best thing to do for the current situation ? on: August 29, 2017, 10:09:02 PM
What is the best thing to do with the current situation of bitcoin? By current situation, I mean the price of transactions getting high, the upcoming fork, miners switching to Bitcoin Cash ... etc. How should I overcome this situation? or should I simply switch to other Cryptos?

I think if you are holding some bitcoins, you better hold them no matter what. Bitcoin Cash is getting better but it is still an alternative coin. Bitcoin always dump before a for but have a pump afterwards, you can see that in the last pump where the price of bitcoin almost doubled the current price in the mont of July. Just be active and watch the price, it may surprise you.

Good luck boss

4059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Drawbacks And Bumps On Bitcoin Path! on: August 29, 2017, 02:15:14 PM
Although bitcoin has offered  alot of success and handful amount of  opportunities to people and has a core hand in  making  them richer but unlike other currencies it has some drawbacks also:
1. Fluctuating price
2. Built in deflation

The reason more users and investors are putting their money into it.

3. No physical form

I think this is good because you are not holding any money or cash but you now to yourself you are a millionaire and no one knows that except you.

4. Wallets can be lost

This depends on how you care about your bitcoins. If you really want to take care of them, you take care of your wallet and also pick a secure wallet. There is always a back up.

5 Limited number coins available

if there are no limits, you think the price will reach what it has now? I think the lesser the number of supply, the higher the demand, the higher the price can get.
