Long term bullish, mid term bullish, near short term bearish if you ask me. There is a gap in 8k which made it difficult for us to go up and because of that gap price is always drawn downside and that hurts us constantly, if we could just focus on getting that closed, sell all together and than decide what we will do later than we can actually make it back to 15k and more later on, without getting that its impossible for us to go up. So, that is why I believe in near short term bitcoin will definitely go down and than we will skyrocket afterwards.
However, if you look at the long term, its a great time to buy, 8k or not eventually I believe bitcoin will reach that 20k all time high and than even go up more than that later on so its a perfect time to buy right now.
A long-time to wait for sure if we wait for the price to drop down at $8k. But before that, I have to put some money when the price drops down a little bit $10,300. I don't know if this is a perfect price to buy with but I believe the market will give me some favor this time. Back then... The market resistance is still strong but we couldn't see that it grow higher more than a thing that we expect for. But I'm glad to see it moves from $10k to $11k last week, which might be pushing to move more before the end of this year but just like you, I don't believe that it will reach into $20k this year. |

absolutely, most of the coins listed on the latoken and idex exchanges do not have a good price movement, even many new coins have decreased prices when already listed, this is what I often see in these two exchanges. Is that because traders and investors are often used those big and known names in the market. The liquidity and market volume is very important in order to attract traders and yet, Latoken doesn't have that thing and it brings to be skipped with. However, when it comes into transaction fees it all be fair, the only problem is its market price. For the number of exchanges today, it is quite to see that some of them will lost the competition while the others keep soaring high and that is it happens with Binance. How their developers taking care of their traders is actually turning them back and giving trust which I do hope that the other exchanges also will do the same. |

a lot of altcoin will has no value in the future my friend because people's will always focused on bitcoin, only a good altcoin with strong team and community will survive buddy and the other will gone What it makes things sad is that some of us think that altcoins are dead already and they are jumping into Bitcoin. But not totally it gives a huge impact to Bitcoin price cause it is still at low and never saw it moving high above $14k this year. We could say that investors today are different from those early adopters, they are quite considering for a long-term investment which until now many of them are still holding altcoins. Waves it looks good before and many investors are holding this but the question now is, are they still holding it today? Well, I hope they are cause that's the only way that could help to bring back its price otherwise, it turns dead sooner. What I have to say is that Waves isn't hopeless yet. I believe it still has the capability, it only needs support which is something missing at this point nor the devs will have to work for it. Good news for a lot of coins doesn't have much effect right now. The whole market is waiting for the next big move, and the question is whether it will be Bitcoin leading any upwards price movement again. Personally I do think Bitcoin will be leading the charge, but alts will recover in the longer-term once market sentiment becomes much more positive.
That it means that we still have to extend our patience cause the market is still struggling hard. If that "The Big Move" will happen, it for sure not all altcoins will do the same, some of them will remain of what it has today. |

I agree with buying currently since the value is really cheap but I am not seeing what you are seeing that the bull run is already around the corner. My basis for my analysis is when BTC will have its ATH, that way, the market will be lively and possibly there might be another FOMO again. We like that to happen so majority of our altcoins will again live and prosper, for now, it still not moving well, some even worth very cheap already, like my holdings which I hold only 10% to 20% from the original value I bought them. |

I think switch to BTC is a good choice because BTC price is more potential to rise if compared to DOGE. Switch to BTC is not a mistake and can say it's better choice to make profit.
It's not a question if OP can hold longer, BTC is the most dominant coin in the market, hence, we can expect that altcoins like DOGE has to rely on the success of BTC before it will start to grow. Between the 2 of them, BTC is more stronger and profitable, so people who are not afraid of taking a higher risk, would always choose to put their money to bitcoin, in OP's case, he needs to evaluate if selling his DOGE for BTC will not make him lose a lot since DOGE currently is already very cheap. |

Dead coins have no volume, prices and orders on the market. one of the things that makes it that way is that there are no active developers, willing Miners, and enthusiastic communities. so the coin is silent and does not work. CMC still has a stock of data> 3000 coins. very much. some people make CMC as a reference so maybe that's the reason.
CMC has delisted a lot of coins with no volume anymore, therefore we cannot find majority of the coins in CMC if we will look for the dead coins. Dead coins does not necessarily they are dead actually, they just lost their volume but as long as they are in exchanges, they can still rise up when the altcoins started to have its own rally. It's an advantage if such coin has a decentralized exchange as it will be traded right away without any fear that it will be delisted in centralized exchange. Every coin aimed to have liquidity but with the strong competition in the market, they need to stay competitive to survive, unfortunately, not all of them has the capability to compete, especially at the times where altcoins are not so appreciated. |

The only reason I believe is the overall bad altcoins market performance.
ETH is also struggling to rise, so same with other major altcoins and therefore there is nothing to worry as its time will finally come.
We were surprise by XRP that it rise to $4 in the past despite of its huge volume, I believe it will happen again at the right time.
XRP is still one of the potential projects in the market and I'm sure when the altcoins season starts, it will also start to recover consistently.

Actually buying when the market is in dip is a very difficult step to make as not all dips will guarantee earning because what most commonly happening now is when you buy the dip but it dips even more losing your investments so maybe buying the dip is applicable for Bitcoin only but not with the Altcoins.
You are right that not all dip is worth it. For bitcoin, it will come back if we have a little patience as it has happened after 2017 and it bounced back. The same might not be said with altcoins, some altcoins dip is the end for that coin. I have experienced this with some altcoins. I disagree, all dip are worth it because bitcoin is expected to rise again, buying at dip will give you a good value and that you can sell at a great profit. This year, if we were able to do the right timing, we will be able to buy the best dip at $3K +, and we can sell at $13K, well, that's only possible if we are really smart enough and lucky at the same time. What I learned is that we should always buy every time the market dip, especially if the market is healthy again. In my evaluation, the market movement for BTC is healthy this year, so buying at dip is advisable. |

This is the technique I use when I bet on sports, however it's not easy, you need to carefully analyze the line because sometimes, you think you go against the public, but you are wrong. Not so affected with this, when it comes to holding, I'm not judging ETH at the current condition as I'm live by the definition of HODL.
Maybe there is a big difference on its value between 2017 and 2019 but it's better to make a good comparison in 2018 as it's the time when ETH hit its ATH at almost $1400. Compared to the current price now which is only $180, it looks very bad if you will sell, but if you understand how this market works, its trends, you would not feel this big dump.
Maybe let's compare again in 2020 or in 2021 as I'm pretty sure ETH will be back again at $1,000 or more.
