4041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 04, 2019, 12:12:07 PM
His career is all but finished now. He picked up a serious back injury almost two years back and has been out of action ever since. Even if he returns at some point in the future, I don't think he'll be able to bowl at the same pace. The last time I heard, he has injuries to his ankle and heel as well, in addition to his lower back injury.
He is just 19 years old and BCCI is taking good care about his treatment and medical expenses and he might not bowl at the same pace but that can be said only after he starts playing again, hope you remember Shane Bond and he was one of the most talented bowlers who could bowl at 150 KMPH consistently and he was also hampered by injury throughout his career but he never reduced his pace till the date he retired from cricket  Wink.

Pace bowlers have always faced this problem. Injury is something they always face. Only some bowlers have played consistently. Since he has faced injury already, likely to be shorten his career. I wish India could produce such a speedy bowler.
Mustafiz was a great bowler when he came. But later, after a surgery, he is not anymore able to deliver the same.
There were plenty of tear away fast bowlers who showed promise when they started playing and injuries cut short their career and the only fast bowler i know who never missed a match due to injury was Kapil Dev, rest of the bowlers had some sort of injury at one point of their career.
4042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tone Vays has won me over: There is Bitcoin...and shitcoins. on: August 04, 2019, 10:15:52 AM
Perhaps it’s the absolute slaughter of altcoins. But I feel like we were all blinded in 2017. I have 20,000 Cardano, and all I see it do is lose Satoshi value. I feel like I’ve had enough!!
I’m 85% bitcoin. I’m about to make that 100%. Everyone loves Cardano...really? Why! It’s just another shitcoin. They are all shitcoins!!
The slaughter in the altcoin market was expected as i have seen many projects going to dust even though they started with big promises and big teams and hence when the market rallied i sold off 80% of all my altcoins and i still consider myself lucky to make those decisions as all the assets i invested during that time came down drastically and many projects will never recover simply because of regulatory issues, it is a sad reality and if you sold the coins at the right time then you could probably made some profit. I am pro bitcoin from the beginning and the alt coin market was a quick rich scheme and the smart thing is to get out at the right moment. I consider dogecoin to be better than 99% of the coins in the altcoin market and i am sure everyone shares the same opinion.
4043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 04, 2019, 04:38:03 AM
Dana might be creating a new storyboard for his pet Conor's comeback to be a champion again.

My prediction, Conor versus Jorge Masvidal will fight for the championship of a newly created 165 pound weight division on 2020.
That is a realistic possibility to make a 165 pound division and try to make Conor McGregor three weight division champion and Jorge Masvidal is a good pick, i know that uncle Dana is against the new division even though every fighter who is switching from 155 pounds to 170 pounds because they do not have any other option because of weight cutting needs a new division and it will be another stacked division if they open the 165 pound division as majority of the top fighters are in Lightweight and Welterweight division.
4044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 04, 2019, 02:51:52 AM
This is a one-sided match between WI & India. WI all out for just 95 runs. I didn’t expect this poor performance from WI at the moment. Only Pollard played some shots and other batsman just walked in & gone. India also struggled a bit to reach the target. It was a very low scoring match and India wins comfortably I would say.
If a team losses 6 wickets chasing a moderate total of 96 runs, i will not call it a one sided match and it was not a comfortable win at all, since both teams struggled to score runs freely it was a wicket that is not good for T20 cricket, glad to see Navdeep Saini in the team and he is a good future prospect and i would like to see Kamlesh Nagarkoti in the national team as i was impressed with him in the under 19 world cup as he was bowling consistently over 150 KMPH, if not for his injuries i am sure he would have being in the team by now.

For all the cricket lovers here watch out for Kamlesh Nagarkoti bowling in youtube i am sure everyone will be impressed by his bowling action and pace, he is the future prospect for India. If you can clock 150 KMPH consistently at 18 years and if he can avoid injuries he will be the fastest bowler India will produce in world cricket.
4045  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Just Broke $10k on: August 03, 2019, 06:54:31 PM
The bulls have done it!! We broke 10k, we broke the daily resistance, we broke the EMA resistances, it's a good day for the bulls!
This is not the first time that the price of bitcoin has crossed the 10k mark in the past few months and it is not a big surprise either and moving forward we might even seen a pull back below $10k before the big rally which is expected to happen after halving, we are trading on a range bound for the past few weeks and the price is struggling to cross the resistance above $13k.

What do you’ll think of Pant as he’s keeping for India today, will he able to knock out MS Dhoni from the playing 11 in further series to come.
If Dhoni thinks that he is too old for the T20 format then Pant can be the successor for him if he is able to perform consistently, no one will force him out from the playing eleven as he is more than capable to win any match at a given time and his record in the IPL as a captain is unparalleled. Since the T20 world cup is coming up it is time for India to find the right combination.
4047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 03, 2019, 12:03:49 PM
Looks balanced right now, i would say Oz team has a slight benefit because England has to chase down the total during the 4th inning and due to chase-pressure, situation gets tricky some times.
And agree that Australia need to wrap up tailenders as quickly as possible. if lower order manage to add 30-40 runs in existing lead then its not good for OZ.
England could not capitalize and take a big lead even though they had a good start and now they have lost 8 wickets and the lead is barely 50 runs and it will be difficult to bat in the final innings, the match depends upon how Australia is going to bat in their second innings and if they are able to post a good total on the board, either we will have a draw or Australia could win the match if the pitch starts turning on the final day.
4048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 02, 2019, 06:45:18 PM
At least let them admit that cricketing section is not. More power to the community.
Here in the cricket thread we are small group of people who comment most of the time and there is no generic messages or spam that are posted in those thread, they either have knowledge of the game and the matches being played and no one can just post some bullshit and get away with it, there are many threads in gambling discussion that are just filled with generic messages and most of the threads will be closed after sometime.

When it comes to the Ashes, England is in a comfortable position as they trail by just 17 runs and they have 6 wickets in hand, have not seen Rory Burns play earlier but he is cruising after making his century, not sure what happened to Starc as i expected him in the team and Australia is not having the bowlers that could trouble the English batting line up.
4049  Economy / Economics / Re: (36%) of U.S. investors would consider buying bitcoin on: July 30, 2019, 04:32:08 PM
It is surprising to see an increasing number of those who know Bitcoin (& cryptos) and some of them are seriously considering investing in it.
It is not a big surprise to see more people wanting to invest in bitcoin, if you look at the performance of financial assets in the past two years you will understand that bitcoin has outperformed all other financial assets by a large margin and hence you will find many investors to have bitcoin in their portfolio even though it is a highly volatile asset people would add bitcoin to their portfolio simply because of the returns it can give in a short period of time and with proper financial asset manager the risk will reduce considerably.
4050  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Retakes $10K But Remains Short of Bull Revival on: July 30, 2019, 04:01:57 PM
Bitcoin has again charted a recovery to above $10,000, but the outlook remains bearish with the lower-highs pattern intact.
The recent gains may be short-lived, as the recovery seen in the last 24 hours is stuck at key resistance levels and lacks volume.
A UTC close above $11,120 is needed to revive the bullish view. That level could come into play if BTC clears key resistances around $10,200 on high volumes.
I am not expecting any great revival in the coming months, we might see a bound range trading for some time and if the price could not break the resistance we have now we might see a further sell off but that does not mean that we are in panic mode, the price will recover in the next two months and hopefully we will end the year above $10k, this was my initial prediction at the beginning of the year but the price recovery surprised me as i never expected the present valuation during this period.
4051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 30, 2019, 02:32:22 PM
You are right we need to promote Test and ODI but greediness never want to promote these formats because they have more revenue in T20 and our jokers can perform better in this format as they have better income in very less time like soccer even now ICC is also not able to do any work in this issue as powerful boards want more revenue and its belong to T20.
The real problem here is that people does not get enough time to spend 5 days to get to the results in a test match and majority of them end up in a draw, five days of play and no result really sucks for any sporting event and only in cricket you will see that kind of result even after five days, this is a competitive world and people are struggling to make their income and they cannot spent the entire day watching cricket and that is the reason T20 is an instant classic as you will get to the results in less than 5 hours and not waste the entire day.
4052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless altcoins must remove from the whole crypto market on: July 30, 2019, 12:40:50 PM
They just create some kind of hype once or twice in a month or week and make their profit with fake exchanges and forget about it, I am talking about the developers of those kind of altcoins which are not performing and these are totally waste for crypto market and also creating confusion for new people who are entering in crypto world so what's your opinions. Useless altcoins must be remove from crypto market if it happens then it would be great and very beneficial for crypto world.
If you are going to remove all the shit coins from the market, then you will be removing almost all of the coins from the market as majority of them are shit coins and created to make money from thin air and these exchanges are listing them because they are getting paid to list those coins and if there is a good trading volume they will get that revenue too. If people are not trading shit coins and if the volume drops the exchanges will remove those coins eventually.
4053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Brave Browser: Now users can earn Basic Attention Token (BAT) for viewing ads on: July 30, 2019, 10:34:31 AM
According to the latest update, users can now view ads and get rewards in bat token. This is a huge development to be honest but the sad part of the story is that not all locations have this feature yet. Some countries are still left out on this feature and I can't tell when they will open for everyone
I thought this feature was available for a long time if you are from the US, not people from every country could take care of this rewards and i can understand because it is the beginning phase and hopefully they will make sure that the entire globe will make use of their advertisement platform and with the team leading that project i am sure they will have a market penetration in the coming years.
4054  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How profit from Bitcoin will be taxed in India? on: July 30, 2019, 08:32:22 AM
So the government is so willing to accept and even imposed the necessary tax for gains in Bitcoin and I assumed other forms of cryptocurrency as well and yet it is not recognizing Bitcoin as a legal currency or asset at all? In my view, the government has no right to impose a tax to something that is not legal in law.
The government does not care whether you make money or not, but if you are making an income you have to give the share to the government and there is nothing you can do to overcome those, majority of the people does not want to be an outlaw and if you are skipping the tax then you will end up in trouble one way or the other. Either you move out to a country which is a tax heaven or you live according to the rules of the land you are living.
4055  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Israeli hacker stole $1.7M in Crypto from Europeans on: July 30, 2019, 07:31:59 AM
Funny thing how the majority of the public thinks Bitcoin is an untraceable asset yet dozens of criminals have been tracked down from various methods not only in BTC's blockchain. This should serve as a wake up call for criminals who potentially attempt to steal cruptocurrencies because the authorities are catching up and the international government is getting involve. Which is really a good thing for us in the industry.
If people thought that bitcoin was an untraceable asset where you can do anything illegal then they are in for the hard awakening as authorities will track down and punish every illegal activities being conducted using bitcoin, you cannot find a more transparent system to conduct your crimes and every transactions you make will have a trail and in the future and i expect all the transaction even if they are hidden using mixers, there will be a possibility to uncover those tracks and bring the criminals to justice.
4056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who wants to start the bitcoin church with me? serious this time on: July 29, 2019, 11:10:17 PM
So I know I made this as a meme but I am serious, I don`t want to pay tax on my bitcoin other than the network fee tx, I refuse to fund war machines to kill my own kind, nor do I want anyone to seize my bitcoins. If it is our religious right to carry bitcoin in my nation, they have to accept it here in Canada.

Anyone care to create the "church or whatever you wanna call it of bitcoin" with me?
The idea of creating a church to escape from the taxation is not a new idea and many might be doing the same as anything in the name of religion will succeed  Cheesy , but make sure you understand the implication and the punishment you are going to face if you are caught by the authorities, it wont be that nice, but if you want to rebel against the very existence of taxation, it is your call to do what ever you wish that will give you the peace of mind and fulfillness  Wink.
4057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't doubt the power of Staking coins on: July 29, 2019, 10:15:12 PM
Staking coins is way better than mining ,hassle free and no generating of heats
If you think that the coins you are staking are magical coins, its good for you. I am not sure how long these coins will last and how long you will have your profits, i view all these staking coins as one big ponzi and i am sure you will loose those valuation in the long run, lets see how long your magic coins will give you the profits. I used to stake coins in the past and i know the valuation of those coins just dropped to almost a few satoshi because of obvious reasons and i expect that will be the case for every other project.
4058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesia, the second largest crypto adopter without legality. on: July 29, 2019, 07:14:45 PM
in Indonesia it is not about the cryptocurrencies boom , but about the low economical and living standards and low wages
statistically , most of the faucet and bounty campaign users are from  Indonesia , India , Ukraine etc. - people are simply trying to earn an extra buck
doesn't mean they are the grand adopters or know much about blockchain or similar things
That is the true sentiment as majority of these users are aware about bitcoin and the campaigns and the users from these poor countries are simply trying to take advantage of the situation to earn a simple bounty and majority of them have no business to understand the basic functioning of blockchain but you cannot neglect the fact that they are still adopting the crypto market to collect all the dust tokens they collected through all these airdrops and campaigns that are available Grin.

@OP I really do not trust any surveys either, so no comments on that.
4059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin became valuable because it's failed at fair distribution? on: July 29, 2019, 03:35:41 PM
some may suggest Satoshi alone mine nearly 1m of the coins, but that’s not the same with USD, can I just say it, the FED can simply print 99.9% of the overall circulating USD, and I simply can’t call that fair, and it has no doubt absurd than simply owning 1m out of 21m total supply.
Satoshi published the white paper well before releasing the first bitcoin software and no one stopped anyone from being the initial miner and anyone who was capable of mining the coins with their basic laptop could have made tens of thousands of coins and it is a fair system from the beginning. Bitcoin is valuable simply because it is the first decentralized currency.
4060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 29, 2019, 01:41:54 PM
Here is a detailed feature about the test championships in Cricinfo

The respective boards will determine whether they will be playing in accordance with the test championship and i am not sure how there can be a fair call if everyone is looking to win the test championship and the example that is cited in the site is the series between New Zealand v England in November which will be played according to the ICC tour program but will not be considered in the world test championship. I am sure it will confuse everyone on how they determine these things, let the journey begins and will understand them better in the future.
