4041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 25, 2020, 06:10:50 AM
Don't believe the way media spins things. They're trying to sell papers and views by outraging the general public that a player is being paid millions whilst he's off golfing. This was probably exaggerated, but if Real aren't even including him in the squad I can't even blame him for doing something else. And he couldn't leave when he's contracted to stay and Real blocked at least one move that I know of. It was seemingly Real Madrid that wanted to try recoup the money they'd spent on him and wanted a ludicrous fee which was always stifling his exit, but regardless of that, would you leave your job to go to another company for probably 50% less pay? Because that's probably the only way he could have left because nobody is going to match the silly wages Real offered him. If I was him I would have kept golfing, collected my wage then go wherever I want when the contract is up. I'm surprised Spurs paid as much as they did for the loan because it's a ridiculous amount just for a year. They could have just waited a year or two and got him for free but Jose probably doesn't have the long to wait before he's out the door if he doesn't get results.

Exactly,,, I do know though that players these days are expected to warm up to the city and the people but you know,,, not every one wants to do that and that is fine. It is like some players just want to have a personal and professional life, others want to go and embrace the whole football culture that is also fine. And media can love and hate you in one instant.

Let us all hope he plays well and Spurs get another front 3 attack special and EPL has many super tridents in forwards.
4042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you going to buy into these high rising defi coins now? on: September 25, 2020, 04:50:48 AM
Do I trust these Defi projects, no not quite yet. But it makes for some good short term trades. I caught the ass end of the LINK and UNI runs, made a pretty penny. And I caught the 3 USD dip on UNI and hoping to catch a second wave before the end of the year. Long term however, it's still hard to say where defi will go. But for now, I'll enjoy the roller coaster ride $$$

Think Link right now is a good reentry, considering it is still early in this run and it already went 50% down from ATH? Or should a speculator just go for a new coin at this moment? I think unlike you,,, I know for sure Defi is a bubble like ICOs were and 99% of it will not even be around for the next ride.
4043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Red Cards in Football and what they do to the odds and the outcome on: September 24, 2020, 05:51:06 PM
Very nice stats you shared a few posts earlier,,, now it would be extremely interesting to take note of all the bookie odds at the start of the match, and how they changed as soon as the red card was made. For sure it makes odds go higher for some teams in a draw situation, but if Spurs had a red card, I would bet on them anyway to win. Same as City and Liverpool, MAdrid and Barcelona. These teams seem to get stronger and are fit enough to cover more field.
4044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Rise of DeFi — A Temporary Threat to Major Coins? on: September 24, 2020, 05:00:49 PM
DeFi projects don't have strong fundamentals like major coins, so in long-term of course investing in major coins is safer.
So I'm not sure DeFi projects are a threat to major coins, after all the hype that occurs on DeFi projects won't last long,
So my advice is that if you are already profitable, immediately sell the DeFi tokens that we have.

Not to say even many major coins have strong fundamentals but yeah not even a single Defi project is built to last a year, or even months. Every one of them seems to be tweaking their formats and staking pools and LPs every few WEEKS now just to keep it semi profitable. Sustainability is nothing here.

Still buzzing from Son's four goals / Kane's 4 assists,,, and we do not have Bale playing with us yet! Southampton have shown us they are not a shit team so they will be hurting from the two losses and you know they can get a win at some point, just hope it is not too late in the season. So far, tough for the promoted teams too, I am beginning to think only Leeds can stay up now.

If Bale can stay fit you have a chance of getting into the top 4 & gaining much needed CL football. I like the look of Leeds, hoping they can have a good season (my Mum is a Leeds fan).

Yes,,, this is very much my hope. I put down already a small bet on Spurs to qualify for CL as top four (7/1). Last season we were dreadful but I really think we need to make the most of Kane and Son who are surely on their peak,,, plus Bale to really add even more speed and attack. Our defence is okay, we also already somewhat strengthened and can be more relaxed if our forwards keep the ball more.

Your mom will be happy this year, I have a feeling at least Europe football;)
4046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest AIRDROP in the history of cryptocurrency on: September 24, 2020, 03:04:38 PM
Not the biggest airdrop,,, we had many in the past, and if you think about all the fees it generated then it was not exactly "free" because it was just giving back some of its profits in the hope to generate even more profit.

Also, the price was nonsense and when it all settles down in a few months then we shall know the true price.
4047  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: September 24, 2020, 11:58:54 AM
Damn that was an easy free money promo on Man United vs Crystal Palace because I actually would have guessed 11 mins and that would have been close, just missed it cause we came late here. Did not even know Cloudbet was coming up to be more active, guess we have to check here more often;)
4048  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: September 24, 2020, 11:22:55 AM
Manchester United at Top 4? I do not think so,,, but you never know what they can do or rather,,, what their opponents cannot do. Chelsea should finish there with a lot of comfort once their stars start playing well together but if I were Arsenal or Spurs, those odds look very good (and I am Spurs;) ).
I would say top 4 could be City and Liverpool as everyone imagined, but also United as well, they were decent last year and looking like they are a good young team that could achieve something once again honestly. Last position would have to go between chelsea and spurs probably. So I do have a top 5, I am certain about the top 5 but when you want me to get one of the mout, that part becomes very difficult suddenly.

In any case these 5 teams will fight for a top spot, and it is quite interesting to see Arsenal having that much of a high odd, 2.54 for arsenal to be in top 4 sounds a bit weird to me. Tottenham has lower chance according to odds, Leicester has lower chance, these teams are probably better than Arsenal unless something major happened in them that I don't know about.

Yes on paper Manchester United should be super strong and after they got Bruno Fernandes it seemed like they just could not stop winning,,, but the signs were always there that they cannot rely on one man and if you saw the last game and even League Cup, they had zero ideas and played like they were bored. Brighton is even 4/1 to beat them this next Round 2,,, that is not the odds for Brighton against a top 4 team:)
4049  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What actually makes a token pump? on: September 24, 2020, 09:22:46 AM
The main reason why a certain token/altcoin pump is because it somewhat being hyped by its developer. The legitimacy of the project and being listed to known exchangers is the only thing that could sustain its market price and not drop. But seeing it now is on the surge as the Defi system hits on the market, this is a big factor that uplifts most new projects today but I was not confident if this will take so long and the investors will keep holding.

Yes and no, sometimes, developers recruit people to their side, either as influencers or as advisors, and these are generally not necessarily shillers (not directly anyway) but people who know their followers watch their Twitter or whatever. All they need to do is announce something and boom. Sell out. Pump.

Secondly I wagered on 11k-11.5k on bitcoin as well, I am not sure why I am slightly bullish on bitcoin, to be perfectly honest I feel like I should have played on 11.5k-12k instead because if the price goes over 11k comfortably it will probably go over 11.5k as well and if it doesn't go over 11k comfortably it would also go down under 11k again, which means my option doesn't sound that well.

Sounds reasonable to me, despite that some TA expert actually predicted that it might go to 11.5k once it past 11k but there isnt any exact timeframe on when it will happen. It could floats on 11k-11.5k ranges on 30th by the time this bets are settled . Either way the 10.5k - 11k ranges seems to be the favourite for now with 26% of the pool with 10k - 10.5k coming in second

Without timeframes everybody is going to be right at some point if predicting a price HIGHER than currently since we all know Bitcoin is long term and eventually hits ATH;)

What I can respect is people who predict below and it eventually hits,,, for example I am thinking of those who called 4k bottom this year!
4051  Economy / Speculation / Re: $1 Billion in Bitcoin Options Expire Friday. on: September 24, 2020, 05:18:35 AM
Ah all the while I thought it would be futures that were expiring. Seems like this is a record, so what should we expect? Dump to 9k? I mean that should be the minimum to expect a 10% drop right? Or are we talking for the moment a dip temporarily as you suggest? Not that this affects me anyhow,,, buy everytime for me;)

Good luck to you. I keep telling people also that trading bots are not guaranteed profit, all that trading bots are is scripts that execute what the trader tells it to,,, automatically. If the bot can do it well and fast, it is a good bot. Profit does not say what the bot does. So has gunbot executed well on Binance Futures?

In general I do not agree anonymous teams and projects without whitepaper are scams but for sure,,, if you have no product and want to sell a token, then stay away. Telegram is buzzing again with new defi projects every 10 minutes so yes, be extra careful guys. Not worth your time and money.
4056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: September 23, 2020, 08:19:48 AM
I just found out an interesting pair that is playing tonight. This is Krasnodar vs PAOK Saloniki.
PAOK Saloniki managed to win Benfica and disqualify them from the Champions League so early. I think that it is a good bet to gamble on their win, I can see that their odds are @3.60 which is quite valuable.
Interesting prediction, but I'm not going to risk. Maybe PAOK is favorites in this pair, but they are playing away. Krasnodar is decent team and I think that PAOK is going to play careful football without risking too much.
I took Slavia win @1.87. I really like how this team are playing and I think they are much better than Midtjylland.
And things is getting interesting. Maccabi scored early goal against Salzburg. I just remind that Maccabi are playing without 11 their players who got positive Covid-19 tests.

Slavia should have won it Midtylland is like 8th in their league and they surprised a lot of people last season for sure but this time they are truly struggling. Maccabi also the bookmakers gave them strange odds when surely a 2nd team should be the underdogs.

Anyway, Krasnodar won this one as did Salzburg I expect they should finish their second leg with wins also.
4057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: UNI - The First Trillion Dollar Crypto? on: September 23, 2020, 06:45:00 AM
As I thought, UNI tokens have dropped dramatically in price after reaching all time high prices a few days ago.
According to data on the coinmarketcap site, the UNI token fell by -24%, imagine three days ago the price of
UNI tokens was still at $ 8. Whereas now it is down to $ 4, there must be a lot of FOMO by buying UNI tokens
at peak prices. Therefore, don't be interested in investing in coins that are hype, as a result, we can lose money
for buying at the peak price.

Anyone who actually thought it would rise up past $10 was sorely disappointed when Bitcoin took a tumble. Even a socalled dex governance token has correlation to Bitcoin in the end, so what does this tell you about them? People are speculating of course, not using it to help vote at all.
4058  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: how report interpol about site dice on: September 23, 2020, 06:00:32 AM
Nobody wants to read anything it seems,,, haha. Interpol is for international collaboraton as nutildah points out and for international cross border crimes.

Anyway, OP is found to be a shiller and promoting his own referrals or whatever. Seems like he lost his money,,, and then now wants to cry to the police. Wait til they see what he promoted!
4059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New breed of bitcoin investors? on: September 23, 2020, 04:46:39 AM
The survey results of 491 respondents cannot be used as a benchmark to conclude something, too few to conclude that there is
a new breed of Bitcoin investors. Based on my observations there is nothing new about the types of investors that exist today.
All investors are the same holding popular coins, and will sell after they reach the sell target. Investors are also used to using
the stop-loss feature, and investors will buy coins that are trending, as now there is a trend for DeFi projects. So many investors
who invest in DeFi projects, So my conclusion is that there are no new breed of Bitcoin investors.

Maybe not,,, but the results of many many such surveys, with different demographics and at different aspects of researcher objectives can together mean something.

I do not think there is a new breed of Bitcoin investors too,,, for sure the new speculative people in altcoins and Defi are a thing but Bitcoin holders and buyers are always the same,,, patient, quiet, have real jobs;)
4060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Red Cards in Football and what they do to the odds and the outcome on: September 22, 2020, 02:46:36 PM
I also think there is good value in a red carded team to go and win it, but you have to be able to watch live. Red Card for an attacking team is ok for me (depending also who got red carded) and then defending team could be tempted to try and change to win. We have seen many teams now win with 10 or even 9 men,,,
