4061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anderson Silva vs Tito Ortiz on September 11 on: August 24, 2021, 12:26:23 PM
I do not understand what Tito Ortiz is doing with Anderson Silva in straight boxing.

He is probably there just to get a cheque for receiving punches in face. According to his social media, he is more into politics than into sport, or taking sport as a hobby right now. While Spider is training and trains his son (he recently made a kickboxing debut and knocked out his opponent in 13 sec with first high kick).

Looks like he just wants to be recognized in their upcoming fight because the guy is getting old right now and his popularity is not that high anymore because the only people who know him are those who watch him fight in the MMA many years ago. As for the new fans, no one really cares about him at all. they just wanna watch Anderson Silva again. Now they gonna fight in the boxing ring, the fight won't last long since Ortiz doesn't have any air left in his lungs.
4062  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: So, i bought a BTC atm (machine) on: August 24, 2021, 11:49:10 AM
Nice support man! you are the best man. Looks like you supported bitcoin from another level of enthusiasm. Hope you get some good things out of it and hope it will become a trend in your place. I think making a post on social media will help you as well. Most people are curious about how that ATM works, they also wanted to try it for the first time. honestly, if that was close to where I am right now, I would have tried it too and post my honest review here.
4063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dark Web Drug Dealer Indicted for Laundering $137 Million in Bitcoin From Prison on: August 24, 2021, 07:43:27 AM
I think this is nothing new related to drug money laundering by buying bitcoin and this has happened very often not only with drug money but also a lot of money with other crimes committed to buy bitcoin on the stock market, of course every country has its own their respective officers to uphold justice or to apprehend the perpetrators of crime, let alone the proceeds to buy bitcoins

I believe they just wanted to put all blame on bitcoins since they caught the suspect using bitcoin to launder his money but the problem here is the illegal things they've done that have nothing to do with bitcoins. They just used bitcoins for their props to avoid getting caught but in the end, it turns out different from what they've expected. I think this won't really affect anything in the market right now since this kind of event is not new and people already know the truth about bitcoins that it has nothing to do with the illegal activities and alike of it.
4064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 24, 2021, 07:05:00 AM

In the case of the Lakers, it's not an experiment. There is no room for experiments as these veterans are already used to that. They will know how to adjust and form chemistry at the Lakers. These players know each other very well already. Melo and Ariza are no way to play with a mindset that they will carry the team. They will surely follow what Lebron or Russ plays.

If these veterans are new players then I can call it an experiment but it's not.

There will be no conflicts too. Russ already said that he will allow Lebron to be the playmaker.

They gonna play some real basketball next season and I'm excited already. Yeah! these guys are proven veterans where they can carry their teams if it's needed. I hope they get into Championship this time since this might be the last time we see Melo playing with those great players. Maybe if they don't get those injuries last time, their chance is higher this time to surpassed every team in the NBA playoffs.
4065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT games players might facing problem in our country on: August 24, 2021, 06:38:13 AM
~This kind of news is something you don't want to see because once they put their hands on these earning opportunities, they will fill all of the games and trading platforms out there with taxes.~
Whether we like it or not, taxation will be inevitable in the cryptocurrencies space. Axie surely gets the centre of attention noting how big the userbase as does the money that flows around on that platform. But if the governments want to impose a tax on any type of cryptocurrencies assets they need strict regulation and laws for it. I don't think they will mandate a heavily strict regulation/law into any projects that exist, we all know how many shitcoins that are available on this space.

Yeah! you're right because if they ever implemented such laws, they also need to investigate the project if they really wanted to get some tax from it because I realized that not only the players will get affected if ever that will happened, the owner of the games need to be transparent too in order for their game to be played.
4066  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Earnings from Axie Infinity and other NFT games are subject to tax, DOF said. on: August 23, 2021, 09:37:26 AM
4067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / NFT games players might facing problem in our country on: August 23, 2021, 08:50:31 AM
Last night the game Axie Infinity was shown on the mainstream media and they cover stories of successful players who earn lots of income with it. But the problem is, the government also watches the stories from another side of the world and thinking that they can put some taxes on it. This kind of news is something you don't want to see because once they put their hands on these earning opportunities, they will fill all of the games and trading platforms out there with taxes. They shouldn't be happy when they got an interview because the one will suffer are those who entered late in the game and put some huge amount of capitals.

4068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: August 23, 2021, 08:41:12 AM
Nobody gave Ugas a chance against Pacquiao and he won the fight with ease. Plant deserves the benefit of the doubt. I doubt he will win but he isn't so far out of his league that he can't pull off an upset if Canelo has an off night or if he makes adjustments in his style that Canelo isn't prepared for.
It's going to be a miracle for Plant to to win with Canelo because Canelo is a vastly different against Plant, even during Canelo's rusty moments, I am pretty sure that Plant will have a hard time.

They still have time to practice some kind of unique skills to surprise each other because as we saw yesterday, an unexpected strategy is the most effective one. No matter how good your opponent if you come with a nice and smooth strategy that will leave him clueless to counter, he won't gonna beat you, or you might end up winning with TKO because upsets will make your opponent lose control of the fight.
4069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: worst case scenario for cryptocurrency on: August 23, 2021, 08:07:42 AM
The answer to your question is simple, you gonna need to wait for the next bitcoin halving to get some nice profit with the amount of the crypto assets you currently holding, and by that time, I think no government is fast enough to create such kind of platform let alone collaborating with one another. We know each one of them doesn't want to be behind one another and that's what gonna make their plan delay. Don't worry about your BTC and ETH, if you are really planning to hodl it for long, you won't need to think any of that right now. Just continue living your life to the fullest without stressing yourself with the volatile market.
4070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: August 23, 2021, 04:03:19 AM

I cant deny too that Casimero might be the toughest opponent for Inoue but lets see on how he would really perform inside the ring.

He really is and nobody can't deny and it's time for these two to meet in the ring and settle once and for all who is the best, Inoue looks great against weaker opponents but let's see if he can do all the moves against Casimero who is so good in counter punching and looking for an angle and loves to engage if they meet our bet is not on who will get a  decision but on who will get a knockout.

Casimero already recognized the power of Inoue but he is a power puncher too according to him and the reason why he wants to choose to fight Inoue is that they both will execute power punches in the middle of the ring where they clash until one of them will fall. Casimero knows that he can be knock out by Inoue but still he wants to fight him so that the fans will enjoy watching the old boxing-like was. They really need to approve whatever the contract offers because money won't really matter anymore since both fighters want to clash in the ring as soon as possible.
4071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did you miss Bitcoin? on: August 23, 2021, 03:26:16 AM
I don't miss bitcoin because I just want to leave for a while and if the price is back to normal then we will also return to the crypto world, because this investment is long term so we are free to go and come back whenever we want, maybe because of this bitcoin very much loved by its users with the freedom of thought they give miners

Some people already made a profit and they wanted to rest for a while and do things they really want to do without stressing themselves with the crypto market every day. Most likely people that are missing the bullish trend right now didn't actually expect that it will gonna happened this month. Therefore, they just right there waiting for the right time to make an entry to the market to also get some profit while it's still hot and moving its price up.
4072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron could be next doge or ada? on: August 23, 2021, 02:57:24 AM
Yes Tron could be but not in that way. So far the most realistic usage of Tron is to transfer USDT on Tron network with real low fee. If there's a way for Tron to grow big, it must be the way of Polygon (MATIC): build an ecosystem. That way, combining with Sun's good relationship with CZ, Tron would fly high. But Justin Sun doesn't seem like a serious person. He just wants quick money rather than work hard for it.

Polygon (MATIC) is the real deal here where you can actually make transactions with almost zero fees. Unlike Tron where if it failed, then you also lose some bucks out of it. They are two different platforms but I prefered MATIC over it. Ethereum and BSC network will be not useful if Kardia chain and Matic would become popular in the next few days and feels like NFT games are feeling it right now since some of them are using those two to reduce gas fees of the transactions inside their games.
4073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Betting Or Gambling ? on: August 22, 2021, 12:26:23 PM
There are people who play gambling only while there are others who prefer betting only.
Do you think both of these type of people have different mindset and one of them is willing to take more risk than than others ?

Also do think that gambling is for the entertainment and earning money too but people do betting only to earn money and there is no element of fun involved in it.

Most of the gamblers had already taken it to the next level where they seem not able to breathe well when any of those two are unavailable to them. Yeah! entertainment is not what they want, rather those profits will make them happy if they ever won. But as you can see, when they lose, there seems no happiness in their faces because they realize what they have done. They just lose it and thinking that will somehow find a way to get back what they've lost.
4074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is EOS dead? on: August 22, 2021, 11:45:32 AM
Long ago I stopped following this project from an investment position. They may be offering something to their supporters, but there is a lot more investment now in DeFe's projects. If they can somehow offer something with him that is in trend, then they will be heard again.

They are not that good in terms of their service and right now the platform they are offering has lots of competitors and they cannot take an advance on their current development. So, more likely they're era is about to come to an end if they not gonna give something new to their investors who trusted them. they need to think of something new right away because right now, there are lots of changes and innovations that will gonna lead their project to demise if they don't move.
4075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 22, 2021, 06:51:00 AM
Woahhh Shocked

Even though Manny loss this match, but I'm not dissapointed watching they fight. Manny has already show how powerful he's on the round 1-7 but we can't deny he's aged, his stamina went dropped and he play more defensive.

Ugas using this advantages to be more offensive by throwing hook and jab very on point to Manny, his footwork also good. Ugas doesn't look injured by taking many punch from Manny, his body is very tough.

Good job for Manny and Ugas, however I think Manny need to retire from boxing, no?

It's not like how he fought Margarito, even though he has some reach disadvantage, he's still managed to outbox him. looks like Manny needs to retire now because he has already reached the peak of his skills and right now, all those skills are dramatically subsided. Great things need to end sometimes for other things will also rise after that. It was a great night and congrats to Ugas, he really beat the old man this time.
4076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Walmart hiring ad raises bitcoin price to $48,000 on: August 22, 2021, 06:24:49 AM
This is quite good news for the market and is a supporting factor for today's price increase.  Fundamental issues like this are urgently needed to return BTC prices to their highest peaks.  Moreover, the current China issue is no longer being ignored by the market because it ended yesterday.  Walmart's seriousness in recruiting new employees in the crypto field will bring a new era for Btc.

Yeah! looks like the bullish market in 2021 is still ongoing and we might experience more increase in the upcoming months. as we are closed to the last quarter of the month, the crypto market will go unstoppable if things like this won't stop. I mean, this is what we really need, good news one after another. I think this time no tweet will turn the crypto market upside down since they already know that it was just mere speculation by someone and is not a fact. They don't need to withdraw their crypto assets with those kinds of tweets.
4077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing} Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas on: August 20, 2021, 11:35:49 AM
But I would say that if I'm going to bet, I have Manny winning by decision here. It's not that I don't what him to knock out Ugas, but Ugas could be a tough nut if he decided to just not engage and will just survived to have his pay check.

Same here, I'm rooting for Manny to win a UD.
I can sense Ugas will follow Rigondeaux footsteps just to survive the 12 round bout.
I had a few review of Ugas' fight and from my point of view, I think he only has a slim chance to beat Manny If he can't score a K.O.
As usual, Manny's speed will dominate his opponent. Ugas is a bit slower compared to Manny.

Yordenis Ugás’ already said that he will use his reach advantage to get more points but I think Manny Pacquiao is not someone to give care about it since he has already proven himself to beat Bigger opponents and have more long reach advantage than Ugas. You have Margarito, Dela Hoya, and Algeiri which have the same traits as him in terms of height but none of them get benefits from it when they faced Manny in the ring. Besides, Ugas is slow compared to them and that will make him like target practice to Manny Pacquiao.
4078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin surpasses gold on: August 20, 2021, 11:01:15 AM
Indeed, it is possible that in the future Bitcoin can reach $ 1 million, but we are also not too sure about gold that will just be left behind and as if it has no value anymore. Gold is indeed relatively stable, is it a big milestone for us to continue to show that the US can be more pro to crypto with all its systems that are still like this?

It might surpass gold in the future but we cannot be sure that gold will lose its value when that time comes. I personally believe when bitcoins become a global trend and create another non-stop ATH, the value of gold will dramatically subside because people will dump their gold to invest in bitcoins. Nevertheless, the era of cryptocurrency will officially be taken over the economy by that time and those who didn't invest in it will regret it big time when that happened.
4079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to seek help if you need; concerned with gambling addiction. on: August 19, 2021, 01:08:44 PM

There's no need further explanation I think, since it's pretty basic logic. People get addicted in anything because their habits exceeded the usual, that's why it became an addiction, either it is bad or not. No need to explain why, when, and how to quit it, because the solutions already are existing, the problem now is that gambling addicts never wants to admit they are addicted on it, because they think it's not bad at all, just a habit.

That's basically the truth when people think he's right even though he's doing it all wrong, we can't do anything about it and it's so hard to explain to them when they are in this state of mind. Because no matter how much logic you tell them, they always turn away from it, and the only one who can help them is when they decide to go to someone who can give them sincere advice and I think this time they will gonna listen and ponder about it.
4080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are some individuals hostile to Bitcoin? on: August 19, 2021, 12:33:47 PM
That's just how it goes for something they don't want to progress in the future but they can't do anything about it no matter how good they slander bitcoins, the public will always look for the truth and when the people know everything was only made to make bitcoin look bad, they started to consider to study and later on invest in it. As you can see, this is what happened to those big companies right now that are supporting bitcoins. back then they were hostile about it and don't want to get involved in any platform it offers but looks at them now, everything is clear to them and they became the number one supporter of bitcoin.
