Sometimes i’m very curious who in This threat or the actually really LONGterm hodlers ..., the once with 75-85-90% btc stash off crypto but to hodl and not to trade with , the REAL locker up coins :-) i have a few ledgers with i think 5mm dust on iT  of Just not touching them , i even allways buy a DIP to keep the amount of BTC apart for When i need too pay a winner in the list game , never to touch my actual locker up coins Been hodling since 2011. Haven't sold a single BTC since then and probably won't until we see a new ATH at least. |

I personally don't believe this time it will be a copy of 2013/2014. With BTC falling ~10% daily it will simply drop down to 0 in days at this rate. I feel the bottom is near and we'll reverse soon. In any case, it's highly unlikely we'll breach $5k.

I'm a one trick pony when it comes to charts. I look for the closing triangles. This one looks pretty straight forward. In early April we either crash hard or go back into bull mode.

Or we just do a breakout (up, down) for a short time, pull back or bounce back and continue ranging between $6k to $10k for a few more months.Weak hands can also be shaken out by breaking their patience.Because most of the people want to see quick results, profits, progress. However Bitcoin and crypto in general is still very early and will need much more time to mature. The ones not willing to go this path, not having the patience, will leave and mostly lose and probably regret it in a few years. So this may be some boring time, but this also the time where lots of progress and development happens. As always true believers will separate from "get rich quick" money grabbers until the next bull run starts. indeed so many that wants quick results..... as myself i'm not a very patient guy , especially @traffic,waiting lines, when netflix doesn't work or other things BUT lucky me with HODLING BTC i got no problems Because we know we will be rewarded! |

Well, so much for trying to short BTC on margin as a hedge and setting a wimpy stop loss. REKT! Should have known better. Not sure what strategy that I need to employ to try and preserve value in this downtrend market.  Shorting with stop losses is exactly the opposite of what I do (banking on the volatility). If you are gonna bet on downtrend (the same is applicable to uptrends) don't set a wimpy stop loss and go on with it till the end. Or a least make sure you can cover even if price goes 50% against your bet. Otherwise volatility will kill your position sooner or later. I was trying to use this as a hedge. I don't want to risk being liquidated for the full 20% of my holdings on a 5x margin. Oh well, this is not for me. Hulk candles are not going to make this strategy work for me. We did but the price and investments into mining gear were not that huge. Not even close. The price of Bitcoin is being manipulated it's clear as day. They will never allow BTC to fall that low. |
