4061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: May 04, 2022, 02:19:27 PM
I thought this has been locked for a couple of months now lol. I would want this fight to happen and bet on Spence just to see where my bet would take me. I do have reservations on Spence due to that injury but if he is in good shape, form, and overall condition, he can pull off a good fight and maybe drag the bout into its full 12 rounds. Crawford is an all-rounder fighter but he also has some stamina issues with how I observed him. It's a balanced fight all in all, but of course the one who bagged the most wins is the one who is favored in this bout.
4062  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to get Free games in china? on: May 04, 2022, 01:19:08 PM
China is very hard to penetrate when it comes to gambling. The market is quite high, but the government would surely put a keen eye on the said industry. That's why a lot of wealthy Chinese gamble on other parts of the world outside their country due to the very hard restrictions imposed by the communist government. If the creators and operators of the casino will somehow be guaranteed a license to operate, and secure the trust of the government, it is very possible. But very few people often gain the trust of the gov't in China. Also, crypto in China is very confusing hecauae you don't know the actual stance of the government on the said matter. Next thing you know your assets are beinf seized and your platform closed by the gov'f due to breaking the law you know wasn't even existing before.

I'm browsing the details of the upcoming ESL One Major on Dota2 and I notice a unfamiliar team BetBoom Team. I saw a brief description that they are former Winstrike roster but I don't have enough info on there game capacity since I just saw this team on the list of participants. I want ask if anyone here follow this team on there road to qualifyer because they might be good for betting purposes as a dark horse on this majors in case they have impressive games prior to this upcoming majors event.

They are very capable I tell you. To be able to go against major CIS teams and even defeat TSpirit in a very convincing fashion is something which can tell you about how good this team is. The only concern I have here though is if they can be consistent with their performance and not fall off on games that matter. If they can do that, they can be a serious competitor of Navi and Team Spirit in the CIS region. Exciting Major ahead of us. Lots of underdogs that has a huge potential to do an upsent win.
4064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto moving into world. Algo sponsor FIFA on: May 03, 2022, 04:32:51 PM
Makes sense given that FIFA brings in a huge number of viewership compared to other sports and big leagues/championship. This brings a lot of attention to Algo and Binance during the whole time FIFA is airing. The impact is not directly felt after the first few games, but for sure as time goes by people will be curious and will begin their own research about blockchain as a whole too.

Good thing that other huge companies are willing to spend huge bucks for the advertisement and exposure of the blockchain and cryptocurrency as a whole.

Unfortunate loss from the Rejects they should've had that in the bag if it weren't for that unusual draft in game 3. They tried to copy Team Liquid's draft and went for that tanky sustain lineup but it didn't work as they're lacking some reliable disables.

They feel like they can copy the success of that draft from Liquid but they don't know the ins and outs of such a very risky, low-damage draft. Props to them for being adventurous with the draft and pushing through with it albeit being against a very disciplined and capable draft of Navi. They risked qualifying the major just to try out that concept they got from Liquid, and that IMO is somehow respectable.
4066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Warriors vs Grizzlies 2nd round discussion on: April 30, 2022, 11:57:24 PM
Memphis is a very capable team just like GSW but I do not see them going big against the healthy Warriors. They might make up a strong defense on the 3rd and last quarter of the game and post a win, but it will take a lot of effort for them to do this.

Not sold on the idea that the Warriors can end the series without experiencing defeat at the hands of Grizzlies. Hopefully these two teams end the series with all their key players healthy so they can perform to the limits.
4067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: April 30, 2022, 04:39:16 PM
This is why you do not gamble with all your money. Ypu don't bring money in the gambling house/sessions that are meant for other things. It's outright irresponsible and stupid to do so, especially if you know you have no control to your gambling exploits. This should serve as a lesson that you paid for dearly, something you will not forget very easily. If I were you, I would only bring money with me that can only last me for a meal or two in order to stop myself from gambling everything I worked hard for.
4068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: April 30, 2022, 03:17:59 PM
All animal-based races and fights should be banned completely if that's the case. Lots of events involving animals for the entertainment of humans are still around, and not even PETA or any other concerned NGOs are up the throats of these organizers and the likes. I get your sentiment about animal cruelty and all that, but your sentiment must also include other events involving other animals as well.

I support the ban of gambling events involving animals for human entertainment consumption.
4069  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a game you would like to see in an online crypto casino? on: April 30, 2022, 11:38:05 AM
Color game from the Philippines. Totally a game of luck that has the mechanics of roulette but is simpler and easier to understand. I'd definitely do a switch to the said game if it becomes available to casinos around. Also, those minesweeper games that they had back then would be nice too. Some more games revolving around luck and less about skill is always welcome for me, just to see how lucky I can get and how far can I push my luck with the amount I can spend.
4070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sports betting sites that return your money when you lose. on: April 30, 2022, 01:22:04 AM
My cousin managed to rake in a total of 100k pesos from that platform and never looked back anymore. Good thing she was smart enough to call it quits to get out since I advised her that such a business model is impossible to survive in the long run, and that it is likely a scam. They hide under the guise of a 'charitable institution' that gives handouts to people who lost their bets, and a part of the winnings goes to charity or something like that.

The law enforcement agency is also currently on the hunt for the perpetrators of this scam in the Philippines. Hopefully they manage to get a hold of these scumbags that made a lot of money off of this 'gambling platform' scam.
4071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 29, 2022, 06:31:08 PM
A quick question for the Dota 2 guys out here. Do you still bet on events that include Chinese qualifiers? It seems that that region is plagued with match fixing
unless you want to bet in some really obscure and very low-tier game/league, i'd say you're fine most of the time. Every region is plagued with 322 matchfixing, it's not just CN, so the risk factor is always there, but nowadays betting on tier 1 and tier 2 events should be safe

The Aster vs EHOME game just really made me question if even tier 1/2 games in Cn is safe from match fixing. Just check game 2 of that matchup for China DPC. Aster is clearly trashing EHOME to the core and all of a sudden Alche dives in alone with no support on a 4 position Pugna and they just lost the game from there. I don't think it's a coincidence because it happened two games in a row. Aster taking the lead and then all of a sudden, either the carry feeds or the mid laner goes solo targetting a value-less support in exchange of dying.

It happened too on RNG and Xtreme gaming. RNG took the lead both games and then a 'slip up' happens. Btw these two teams (EHOME and Xtreme) were both underdogs before the matches started. Just some crazy shit happens in mid game when someone feeds and they can't recover anymore.

Maybe I'm just reading too much into things but I lost trust in Cn Dota that is not a part of a major tournament.
4072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Paradox of Gambling behavior on: April 29, 2022, 04:23:19 PM

One might be aware of the fact that even though the Gambler knows that he is loosing money they measure the gambling to be an effective usage of that money, a leisure activity to begin with therefore it's more concerned with the activity-than winning an idea that some problem gamblers ignore.

Everything has a price and leisure from gambling has a costly price, why do gamblers throw even their last penny for that session is it in the hope of winning and recovering what they lose, I don't think so it's more on satisfying his desires to win and you are right to experience dopamine, the dopamine needs will increase as they continue playing and this is how gamblers become compulsive gamblers, it's not on money it's more on the pleasure of playing

I'm somewhat guilty of this.

I no longer play for the win, I just play for the sake of satiating my desire to play. Though that's the case, I can manage to play for hours on end with $20 on weekends by placing very small amounts if possible. Time-consuming and counter-productive, yes, but I find it satisfying to see greens in a long streak of red every once in a while. I already have a job that pays well and demands very less, hence why I don't feel the need to win but rather enjoy.

A quick question for the Dota 2 guys out here. Do you still bet on events that include Chinese qualifiers? It seems that that region is plagued with match fixing, although no one seems to get sanctioned or banned for such actions even if reasonable points and questions can be raised on how some teams behave when match against underdogs. I know that next major is still far away, like ~4 months or so, and with not much going around the dota scene, this leaves us with small events to bet on. The Chinese scene has lots of games to offer and games that one can bet on, but do you think it's worth it?

Genuinely curious because I've been following the Chinese DPC after that loss I have on EHOME v Aster.
4074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What did cause a massive pump for dogecoin? on: April 28, 2022, 06:10:57 PM
It's not a spectacular pump though, and perhaps it's just a normal market movement after all. Perhaps people are trying to relate it to Elon Musk buying Twitter and all that, but it could be anything, really. Lately, doge has been stagnant, and every time Elon does something that shocks everyone, the price of dogecoin follows. Maybe it's just that, given that he played with doge a lot of times and helped pump it to insane heights since 2021.
4075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australia to ban Pokies on: April 28, 2022, 04:51:55 PM
If they cannot control it, they ban it. And I wonder what good does it do in the long run when addicted people run around and find some other place to gamble, and even do the extremes in order to satiate their gambling thirst. Perhaps a total ban on slot machines isn't the solution but rather the regulation of it. If the Australian government tightens up their policy and regulation on acquiring and operating such machines, we will not be seeing a rise on the number of addicted people in said games.

It's unfair if they impose a whole ban, but they should think of something else to control it.
4076  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scamsite adkinsbet.com = lucybit.com ? on: April 28, 2022, 02:39:50 PM
Do you have a personal grudge against Royse? Also, how sure are you that the "patterns" that you're seeing are exactly the same as to the casino that you've mentioned? And you do realize that if ever this new casino Royse is affiliated with comes scamming people early in the game, he/she will have lost a lot more than what he/she invested.

Substantiate your claims with proper proofs before people believe you. You were able to create an account here and post against BitLucy, but you're not even trying to convince us with hard proof.
4077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celtics vs Bucks 2nd round Series. on: April 28, 2022, 01:29:32 PM
Huge gap. Juicy odds for Bucks and quite tempting too.possible that the series takes to game 7 with a Bucks win. Just wary of the team's overall health and composure. Giannis can carry the whole team as he has shown previously, and it's not impossible for him to do that again. No one dares to guard him or even follow him around the court to defend, and even the giants of Celtics would surely hesitate.

Where are people watching these Esporting events. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one televised but I know they’re extremely popular. Are people watching these types of events on social media live feeds or is there a website that broadcasts such events. The only Esports platform I’m aware of is twitch and that seems like more of a personal video game streaming platform. So I’m wondering, let’s say I wanted to watch the next big event. How would I find it to watch and where would I get more information about it?

Apart from what Trofo said, some of these off-tournament games can be found directly on the game's client too. Dota 2 has a dedicated 'Watch' tab wherein you can directly view these games from the game client--though sometimes there aren't any casters on the game and you just really have to have good understanding of the mechanics to make the watching experience enjoyable.

Not really sure who the guys are on Bet Boom apart from Sonneiko and Daxak but so far, they are doing good against T2 - T3 CIS teams.

Honestly, BB is a pretty decent team and they've won DCLS9 recently. Took over 2.5 games on this one

Watched the replay. Damn they have skills! Rotation is good, laning phase is good too. Plus that DR courier snipe lol. I should have went for over 2.5 maps too, but oh well I relied on my gut feeling but it just wasn't enough for today's game.
4079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain Trust? on: April 27, 2022, 05:48:38 PM
it is like hiring a celebrity to advertise your casino.

Except that most managers here in the forum know what they're doing and are very good at it. They're not only for the exposure of the platform, they're there to help you manage and run things on the advertisement side while you run things in the platform.

it is like hiring a celebrity to advertise your casino.
Also having a campaign manager could also boost your reputation on your new casinos . People here in forum doesn't really trust immediately to newly lunch casinos so if you have reputable signature campaign manager could be good to build trust

It can, yes, though some managers may even be the reason for the downfall of the platform. If the manager deem that the platform/service is untrustworthy, they may speak against the platform and distance themselves on the said platform. In order to gain trust, it's not enough to hire a trusted manager; you must also be trustworthy yourself. Managers only boost confidence on the platform, but it is the platform/service's job to establish their reputation around the forum.
4080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: WARRIORS VS NUGGETS GAME 5 on: April 27, 2022, 04:12:09 PM
I was planning to bet on Denver earlier. Getting back from a 1-3 situation is not common to them. I believe this will be a close game and GSW might not cover the spreads if they still win. One thing that only stopped me from betting yet is Denver's lack of firepower. Is their current line up enough? Monte Morris scoring over 20 points in their last game is unusual and he may not reach that score again.

Morris' scoring isn't always consistent, but he delivers when the Nuggets needed him to. Personally I will avoid betting on the Nuggets seeing that Poole and Curry has already heated up and are scoring more consistently, but that's just me. Both teams lack aggressive defense, but GSW has loads of shooters on all sides of the court that it's hard to bet against them not unless you're sure that the opposing team pulls their aces up their sleeves.
