4061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your opinion on shikoku inu? on: June 30, 2023, 10:58:51 PM
Does anyone know the token, it looks promising
The only prominence that this token will have is its familiar name with Shiba and apart from that I do t see anything that makes this token a promising one as you said unless you just looking for a way to hype the project or are you part of the developers?

If yes, then you should as well share some more information that will give more insight into the project and its intended future outcome that investors should look out for.
4062  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Enlighten people about Cryptocurrency. on: June 30, 2023, 10:50:50 PM
Nigerians have hard bad experience with ponzi scheme, and cryptocurrency in the Nigeria stereotyped perspective as a scheme and a get-rich-quick scheme at that, and this misinformation have cost a lot of devastating bad image for Bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency market in Nigeria, and only a few numbers of Nigerians who took the time to develop their understanding and knowledge on the subject matter have clear u derstanding of what the real content and context of cryptocurrency.

So it was the best decision for you to have chosen to educate those ops first before introducing them to the crypto proper, and now time, they will develop a basic understanding and build a knowledge base cryptocurrency foundation/coins portfolio in the long run.

Dear newbies pls don't rush into making Bitcoin investments like selling a property very valuable to you just to impress on the forum or putting in your entire savings to purchasing Bitcoin I am not against making Bitcoin investments but
Before making Bitcoin investments always make sure the odds are safe for you  like some members here will say  "make investments that will not affect you" In other words make investments with free money  except you have more profiting ideas than holding

I am sure this is what other investors here do

This is a generally accepted warning most especially to newbies who seems to be the most excited set of people here to always announce their bitcoin investment and how much bitcoin they are worth in the bitcoin accumulation model, not minding or taking into account what the risk of buying bitcoin at the wrong time is.

I saw a few guys opening a buy position at the current Bitcoin price, it is not entirely a bad idea anyways but buying at a high price is considered as buyi g under due rest and that won't be a good idea in the long run.

Thank you OP for being very active and for addressing members concerns and answering their questions. This is a good thing and will help you/your casino build a good reputation fastly as customers know there will always be someone to help them if needed. Am also happy that Igebotz has removed the neutral feedback he had left to you earlier.

Just an advice, avoid making consecutive posts in a row. It's against forum rules.
Yes this team have been very active in answering and resolving their players issues since their created this thread, and i will like to commend them for that and also urge them to continue with that approach because that is the best way to earn players' trust over time and also I will advise them to keep this trend going even though if their community grows to their satisfactions.

Because what keeps customers is the security of their interest and how active a team is in providing a solution to their problems.
4065  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk own Casino complaint panel on: June 30, 2023, 10:25:32 PM
There are a few non biased people I've seen comment in the scam accusation section, but what happens if we have a panel of judges on here? Possible corruption could happen and the "judges" might be able to be bought either by the casino or by the accuser. If we could keep the corruption out of it then it might be a good idea, but I don't think it's going to happen.

That wont happen anytime soon unless some form of development and changes happens in the near feature and fhe forum chooses to devote a portion to that and also allocating a few trusted forum members with experience such as yourself  yahoo62278 to serve such a purpose.

And talking about corruption and possible bought over of the board members are the major set back that could be eliminated if the power doesn't reside with a single or few individuals but is left to be decentralized that way it will become hard to manipulate the whole board members at the same time.

I think this will eliminate the tendency of corruption in that regard.
4066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: U.k Approves Cryptocurrency As A Regulated financial Activity. on: June 30, 2023, 10:17:43 PM
While tou guys celebrate this development, you should also have it at the back of your mind that this development has nothing to do with Bitcoin and its potential adoption within the UK and I am sure what the government meant by regulation in the cryptocurrency financial market is what there can control e.g CBDC and other stablecoins that can go through regulations and control.

And when it comes to bitcoin status, both UK and the US have almost the same stand as regards to bitcoin, which is to try to subdue bitcoin dominance in the cryptocurrency market by way of introducing CBDCs.

Ty mate for the info.

Geez 2K lose, hoping you got a good section as well. Last month, I also lose around 800$ and this month recovery the lost trying to not gamble first for this month, just waiting for my monthly paycheck first for playing.

Good luck for next month mate.
Well, next month is already upon us and we have just a few hours to step into it..
Having to lose $2000 to gambling is not small feet, and so is $800 as well, gives me the impression that you guys are serious gamblers, that's very ok by the way, for me, based on my current status in terms of finance, I can't afford to lose anything above a $100 to gambling monthly, that have always been my target and most times, I try as much as possible not to even reach that amount..

Anyways, the simple advice to us all I believe is to make sure we are gambling responsibly always, never to lose any amount of money that will put us under financial pressure of any kind,

And again, wishing us all very good luck in the new month.
I feel the player's pain losing 2k to gambling in just one seating is an experience no one will love to have,  but then it happens sometimes and at that, the ops need to move on,  I experience some losses last week but not up to that amount mentioned by the ops mind was my campaign payment for the last week.

I felt bad to have used the entire amount to stake on a sports bet but when I remember the multiple times I have won on stake,  it will keep me motivated not to give up but to apply caution next time.
4068  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: June 30, 2023, 09:24:28 PM
well, most of the time, it is none of casino's business where you got the money but the player should always check the ToS of the site to avoid possible problem. because once they saw some unusual activities or amounts in your account, they might flag you down.
there may be gamblers who are washing their money via casinos, but it is how you play your cards not to get caught. so the probability of washing money in casinos is always there, especially if the wagering requirements are low.
Yes, there's the probability of washing crypto through the use of casinos but if check the risk involve in losing all the funds I don't think it is something anyone should try. Remember "not your key, not your coin" especially now that most casinos are changing their TOS.
When privacy is a top priority it is better to use a crypto tumbler site and a good anonymous exchange than use a casino where the risk is high.
Aside from casino being used for money laundering being the reason for wager demands on deposits,  it is still a game by the casino to get the customer hucked,  since wager is a most on all deposits it then means the casino will make more money from players quest to meet the wagering requirement and failing in the process,  and sometimes some of the casino place unreasonable wager requirement on deposits balance and players continue to lose trying to fulfil that retirement on multiple times.

So the casino is not protecting the player or the government by enforcing wager requirements,  but they are also fulfilling their obligation to generate revenue for the business using that tactic.
4069  Economy / Gambling / Re: Impossible KYC Requirements - Stake.com - Withholding $6000 USD on: June 30, 2023, 09:16:55 PM

Your answerbis so obvious and predictable.   Ofcourse what would you say whole you wearing a Stake sibature and getting paid by them. You will not be neutral.
Even if he posted 12 months of convesation you will come and say to him post from pc not mobile or you will bring the you are multi accounts or using von blablabla.

Have some shame buddy.
Take it easy on the ops bra Grin,  I don't think wearing a signature should become a basic not to make fair contribution in this regards and if you look closely to the ops case,  what the member Slow death stated may be right because this kind of situation,  the complainant will need to provide sufficient information and evidences that will aid the fastening the resolution of the case.

The statement from Slow Death may sound harsh to you but he stated the obvious truth and what is untenable not only with a Stake but any other casino that has a similar case against them.
4070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you, or would you ever use a Bitcoin ATM? on: June 30, 2023, 09:02:57 PM
~snip
They say, you never know until you try it. So jumping to a conclusion was my bad. I do not have on hand experience with Bitcoin ATMs, so giving out my negative opinion was not a good thing. The way you have explained it made it more clear to me that, under some circumstances, Bitcoin ATMs are way better than centralized exchanges. I have never thought that there could be alternative options between Bitcoin ATMs.
When you look at anything from a different perspective, you start to learn new things about it. This is quite true. Maybe not for regular use, but in situations like what you explained, could be a great help. Not running into some complex thing and doing what you want to do freely is really a blessing. And if those Bitcoin ATMs can provide us with such services, it will be really good.
I guess you are right on the need to allow yourself get exposure to new things first before making any comment or decision on them,  that way you have better knowledge of the subject matter,  and for the sake of clarity,  Bitcoin ATM is not like the physical fiat currency ATM so for that the availability of physical cash at Bitcoin ATM may be unnecessary and at that, the bitcoin ATM possessed some form of security compared to traditional ATM unless if the Bitcoin ATM is used for cash withdrawal and of that be the case then it comes with another attachment which is the location of the ATM,  because most bitcoin ATMs that dispense cash are all used as pos in terminals and malls were security are almost guaranteed.

But since most Bitcoin ATMs are used to buy Bitcoin into personal wallets it then becomes less risky for its users compared to traditional ATMs that only dealwithith physical cash.
4071  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: New KuCoin kyc policy!!! on: June 30, 2023, 08:47:59 PM
This is no longer news because most Kucoin users already have their kyc verified and even if not yet it then means the account is inactive on KUcoin because for a user of the platform to be able to trade on any coin on the P2p market place the requirement is to pass the KYC first so it balls down to the same thing,  the cryptocurrencies market is heading towards total centralization and it won't stop with KUcoin any other crypto exchange aside from from those that are fully decentralized will demand KYC document at some point in the future if there have not done so already.

One thing that Cryptocurrency exchanges are known for is kyc most especially the centralized ones,  and KUcoin is just trying to improve on what they already have in place

4073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: June 30, 2023, 08:25:20 PM

It is true that sometimes we join certain promotions and many contests and bonuses, which sound and look so good that we do not bother to read the rules to take them, and that is when we give ourselves the first mental blow, because we can win everything we u want, but when we go to withdraw they will not let us due to the requirements, and yes, 10x for many may be somewhat reasonable, but for me in particular it is not, I think that at most it is 1x, but for the rest I think that more than there is much more, things in casinos can change, and there are people who if they take these challenges, and even win and fulfil everything, but I don't have the patience for it.

Those who get carried away with the quest to claim bonuses often time forget to read and noticed the conditions that accompany such bonuses and in most cases, those bonuses come with a lot of wager requirement that is almost impossible for the gambler to reach and if one wants to be free from being subject to such insane wager demand then we must avoid bonus claims that are too good as far as I know,  any bonus that needs a 5x wager requirement is already a bad option and at most 1 x should be considered ok at most.
4074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 30, 2023, 07:48:03 PM
Dominik Szoboszlai is a RB who has very good abilities, besides being able to play very well in defense, he can also be relied on when carrying out attacks. Statistics he says so, for the position he occupies, creating 6 goals is a very good achievement and he has consistently done that in the last few seasons. I think this will help Liverpool in rebuilding something that wasn't seen for them last season.

Players who occupy a position like Dominik Szoboszlai who have the ability to defend and attack equally well are rare to find, and that is the current figure of Dominik Szoboszlai. Liverpool have made very good strides if they managed to bring in Dominik Szoboszlai this season.
He must be really worth the amount for Liverpool to have agreed to pay that much for him during this time when Liverpool are doing so much to cut expenses and manage money. It will be very good if as a player, he is able to fit in really quickly and not struggle to find a place in the team and play to full potential like the way Gakpo and Darwin Nunez struggled to fit in. Liverpool were able to survive last season and still managed to qualify for win European competition, this season will be a season where they try to win that competition and also qualify for the Champions League next season while they still contest to win the Premier League. They are a team that can do it, they have the players and the coach.

The current reality of Liverpool,  I am sure the club will be willing to send any amount just to get the best players signed to the club against the 2023-2024 season,  Liverpool Dominick is a young talented player that will bring a lot of positivity to the table for Liverpool in this season,  and if possible for Liverpool to also buy more players in the current transfer market to set them on the part where their ride in the last two seasons where Liverpool was among to top 3 clubs in both the premier leagues and the champion league respectively.
4075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy ETH as much as you can.... on: June 30, 2023, 07:40:08 PM
I see ETH to become next blessing in disguise, I remember when it was around $100 people condemned it not to go anywhere within the space of a month interval ETH shuck the price in 500% increase and today is about $1800 let's watch and see ETH will create unbreakable records, channel some useless coins you have to ETH and relax in future.
My first owned Ethereum was bought at around $250 and that was a long time ago,  and since then I haven't sold it I know at the present price I am already at gain but still,  I am not moved to sell since I know that the present price is still considered as low price and with the level of the potential in ethereum,  I believe the long term gains outweigh present market positivity.

So I belong to that same school of thought that Ethereum could be the next market gem in the altcoin section.
4076  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: June 30, 2023, 07:29:41 PM
But for obvious reasons,  some of the folks who are addicted to this kind on none betting game are higher than those who are actually addicted to real gambling where they have to stake an amount.
I believe what happens is that when there isn't money involved gamblers don't feel the excitement they use to have when betting for real money. When there is nothing to lose and nothing considerable to win the effects on your brain are different. The release of dopamine doesn't happen, your heart doesn't beat faster, you don't get chills. There aren't high expectations regards the outcome, because if winning or losing the bet it won't make any difference on your life.

It's like people say: no pain, no gain, although in gambling I think we could say: no risk, no thrill.
If it is a gambler, they will not find it any challenge as there is no money involved, and it can make them unwilling to continue. But if there is money, they will surely be eager to continue, and this is where the real temptation of gambling lies. And maybe if there weren't any money, prizes, or anything at stake, it wouldn't be gambling but just an ordinary game played by two or more people. And we also have often experienced it and maybe felt the fun playing the game. Like for example, we compete or play games on phones. We don't get money or anything but only find pleasure in playing it.

For any challenge , games or whatever has to do with casinos , it must always be considered that if there is no game there is no Excitement for some people, that is Something that cannot be Changed from one day to the Next, things When it comes to casinos it's Different , you have Interests that make your game monopolize attention, and it's the same essence of winning or losing money , of hitting it and you're the winner, I think that's what Makes Everything come true See so Interesting, when we Play with money that is not real, things can be Boring , but for educational and learning aspects it is what Normally should be done and play with play money.

what is the category of games that can be classified as educational games,  can we put Crash into such categories because as for me there is nothing educational in playing gambling games if we say for passing time yes I may agree with that since gambling is one of the coolest ways to kill time since cashing fun is always time-consuming.

But then the involvement of money in gambling have really created room for the constant involvement of players since most of them are all in for the winning and money is the motivation.
4077  Economy / Gambling / Re: Impossible KYC Requirements - Stake.com - Withholding $6000 USD on: June 30, 2023, 07:17:59 PM
This looks bad for Stake frankly speaking since op has submitted a decent amount of evidence to prove his case while they haven't even replied yet though their team isn't really active in this forum as others have suggested.

This is just one example of why KYC truly sucks. $6000 isn't really such a huge amount which makes this entire case even weirder.
I guess we will have to wait for the outcome of the various submission and the stake representative and just as advised before,  ops need to read the article supplied by the support to get the right format for the submission of the KYC documents since there is also a possibility of that being the reason why the KYC process has not record success yet.

And Next time ops withdrawal in an amount below 5k in any casino where he has no KYC verification because most casinos have that limit for no kyc withdrawal benchmarks and any amount above that,  it will trigger the kyc against the customers just like in this case.
4078  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: June 30, 2023, 07:06:32 PM
Part of my contention with your suggestion that bitcoin is never a risk, remains any scenario in which bitcoin might go to zero.. or even spiral to zero over 10 or 20 years... which are non-zero possibilities.. even if many of us consider such possibilities of bitcoin going to zero (or spiraling to zero) to be quite low probability situations... maybe in the fractions of a percentage type of assignment of probabilities, like perhaps less than a 0.01% odds or may even lower, though it becomes quite difficult to assign odds when we are getting into sub 1% territories and maybe not even being able to figure out all of the knowns and the known unknowns and the unknown unknowns...and not even saying that I have closely gone through such a process beyond relying on representations from others and also some of my own hunches rather than facts or informed theories/scenarios.
Personally I also think the risk regarding bitcoin which will return to zero and I make sure everyone also thinks the same as the discussion that took place. But when talking about bitcoin there may be some beliefs that can lead someone to ignore the condition of fear that bitcoin will return to zero. For example, the limited supply and resilience of bitcoin in times of recession and inflation when Covid-19 hit, maybe this is only a small relationship from the process of my individual belief in fears of bitcoin risk returning to zero. But my instincts tell me this is not possible given the various power considerations that are in the journey of bitcoin and also not separated from the process of supply and demand, although sometimes the panic process that occurs can cause bitcoin to correct very badly.

Vice versa regarding people's concerns about regulatory limits that might continue to be developed by the government to make bitcoin an asset that does not have long-term resilience and various issues that are developed are packaged in a systematic and measurable manner by them. El Salvador has thwarted the government's mindset of overly worrying to bitcoin's future journey. So my personal assumption for bitcoin going back to zero is a 0.1% chance in the long term.

In the end, you seem to be assigned higher odds than me that Bitcoin could go to zero, but hey, I am not even confident in my own method of assigning any kind of a tangible number and trying to figure out potential attack vectors (or reasons that bitcoin might go to zero), and I am not even sure if it is necessary to outline a variety of scenarios beyond acknowledging that there is some kind of a non-zero chance that bitcoin could end up either going to zero or even going into a kind of marginal status that it does not continue to attract value to it.. beyond a niche group of people.
Like seriously the thought of bitcoin ever going to zero value has never crossed my mind and I never spear anytime to create thought on that but based on my experience and knowledge of such revolutionized tool like bitcoin and the internet point to the zero chance of them getting into zero value and becoming unattractive to users and that have been my baseline for continues bitcoin investment,  although there are constant price volatilities in the price of bitcoin and we have experienced were the price of bitcoin dropped in significant proportion but not up to the leave of becoming zero and in the last 10 years since Bitcoin came into existence,  there has not been a recording of such dump and that is what makes Bitcoin stand out from other shitcoin in the cryptocurrency market today.

Given that bitcoin is designed to increase in value in the long term due to its circulation reductions during each halving,  it becomes impossible to see such opposite development such as it becoming unattractive and valueless in the long term.
4079  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: June 30, 2023, 06:51:00 PM
As @holydarkness have already said he will make the team aware about it by sending them a PM so wait for it to hear from them to clear the matter but you should also be careful while signing up before you agree to the terms which might create a problem for you later. As explained above in their terms so you can't put a blame on them directly for your loss.
Brings me to the much talked about terms and conditions, how many people actually read that being actually clicking the submit button for the form they already filled?

Though some major issues do arise due to users not reading the terms of the casino before signing up, but then, there are some other issues that are totally outside the casinos terms and conditions, so this is to say that, even if a user reads the terms, it still might not stop the user from having issues sometimes.
And now that ball down to one thing,  are those not reading the terms not the same to pronounced the casino as unjust when their run into problem because most of the cases are not substantial enough to form a formidable case against the casino except for the few other that are accompanied by evidence to show that that casino actually blocked or subject to the player to undue principles that are outside their term and conditions.

So it is very important to read the casino terms of service before making your first deposit into the casino, to be able to abide by and avoid troubles along the way up.

Every war is a war on children

We are all children. How do we know? War is a very childish thing to be doing. Rather, let's live in peace.

Cool
For real, war is a childish act of leaders who want to show their powers against each other instead of channelling that energy into something that will make the world a better place.

Why do we need weapons when everyone can leave in peace and unity, I do t think those interests shared by some world leaders as reasons for the war are not worth it and nations should negotiate more instead of drawing limited lines for each other.
