4061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: project products cannot function properly! on: September 05, 2019, 09:51:03 PM
In achieving the success of a project certainly influenced by several factors including organizational governance, project managers, project teams, project roadmaps, project partners and also what products they want to offer in the market.
especially the experience of the developer and the team because this is the core of the project. which will determine that the project can achieve success in the market if the project can be managed by an experienced team and developer. The experienced team is very influential on the success of the project, those who have long managed the project and have valid experience in the past certainly have a good background.
In addition partners are also very important because the larger the project partners, the more investors will join them.
but the problem is the products they offer on the market can't operate properly.

in this case I am more confident with the experience / performance of the developer team and the project, I doubt about the product! the fact is that projects that have quality products do not guarantee that they can work well in the market.
Not sure if you talking about one single project or you talking about every project as a whole. If you can't trust a project, then simply just don't invest on it. If you think that the project will not function properly, then just avoid it. Why risk on something which you think won't work?
Yeah, experience of a developer matters more than the size of the development team. This is true for every case, not just these projects.
4062  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is gain or loss? on: September 05, 2019, 09:47:27 PM
Don't listen to what people say. Follow your own instinct. Do your own research. If you think its no longer safe to hold your investment, then sell it or at least sell a part of it to reduce your loss.
People will always suggest you random thing which might not be correct. This is your money you are risking, so you will understand better than the others. The others don't care if you make a profit or loss.
4063  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not ignore the small profits in Bitcoin investments. on: September 05, 2019, 09:25:06 PM
A lot of people make the same mistake by being too greedy, and ignoring the small profits and not using the proven recipe for success in Bitcoin by buying low and selling high.

Let's look at the recent price movement of Bitcoin and how this recipe would have put you one step closer to a safe investment in Bitcoin.

https://www.blockchain.com/charts/market-price?daysAverageString=7&timespan=180days  Let's take a quick example of what people could have done in the last 180 days, to secure a very good profit on their investment.

Let's say you had enough money to buy 1 whole Bitcoin when the price was at it's lowest in Mar '19 <$3000+> and sold in May '19 <$8600>, then you would have more than doubled your initial investment. <You could have doubled any investment amount, because the amount does not determine your profit, I just use 1 bitcoin as an example to make it easier to understand.>

The price volatility in Bitcoin in the short term makes provision for a lot of opportunities for people to make small profits, because it is frequently dropping and recovering and if you are just patient and if you time your buying and selling, you can quickly get a good return on your investment. <Buy the Dip>

Some of my friends bought during the Dip in Mar '19, but they are waiting for the BIG payday, so they are hoarding their coins and missing all the opportunities to get a small portion of their initial investment back in their pocket.

There is nothing wrong with long-term hoarding, but when the opportunity is there to take some small profit, then you should take it.  Wink Do not re-invest your profit, because your first goal must be to get back your initial investment. Chip away that initial capital investment, by taking 5% here and 10% there, until you made back 100% of your initial investment.

Hoarding in the long-term might be convenient for some people, but the safe option is to take back small percentages in profits, until you get all your initial investment back. I use that profit to buy some goods and pay for some services in Bitcoin, so that I can show something for the risk that I took and for the effort that I put in to invest in Bitcoin.

This strategy helps to oil the Bitcoin merchants gears, by using Bitcoin as a currency and it also helps me to use Bitcoin as an investment tool.  Wink
Yeah, people should keep this in mind while investing on crypto currencies. These small profits are the main profits which will eventually pile up into one decent good looking profit amount. The opposite is true too. The users should never ignore small losses. These small losses are ignored by many people thinking they can easily cover up those loss. But trust me, its those small losses which are the worst and causes a huge hit in the long run.
4064  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is honestmining a scam? on: September 05, 2019, 09:07:28 PM
i have been hearing alot about cloud mining. the first i tried wasn't successful. i lost about 100usd in the site. it was clearly a scam. i wish to ask from the community here if anyone has tried Honestminning and is convenient?
All cloud mining sites are pure scam (even if they are legit they are not profitable, but they keep on saying that you will eventually make profit which is bullshit. Hence they are also considered as a scammer). They are just some pyramid/ponzi scheme. They old play old investors by using new investors money. This way they will gain your trust and then once you make a big deposit, boom. They are gone!

4066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin already won ? on: August 29, 2019, 10:27:01 PM
https://youtu.be/UF528l8fqKk

Bitcoin is pretty much already considered Gold 2.0. Is that enough ? Does it still need to become a currency from here on ? Or is it the new "Gold Standard" that other currencies will be measured by ?
So, what is going to happen now? What is the benefit of considering this as "Gold 2.0"? Why are you so hyped about this?
Gold is used as a medium of storage. We don't use it as a form of currency anymore. Similarly, if bitcoins are compared to gold, it can no longer maintain  and serve its main purpose of being used as a decentralized currency. People will just invest on it to make profit.
4067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what way bitcoin gets increased usage? on: August 29, 2019, 10:08:23 PM
Already this might have discussed. The growth of bitcoin as well other digital currencies keeps progressing with time. By the time common people too have begun to use cryptocurrencies on their daily life. Compared to the fiat usage, common people using cryptocurrencies were low. When the usage increases what will be the preference of common people. Whether it gets used as investment, gambling asset, trading asset, alternate payment, darkweb usage source.
Your title says one thing but your post asks another question.
Anyways, answering to your title, the usage of bitcoin can be increase through mass adoption of crypto currencies. To do that we will need to spread the knowledge of bitcoin around the world.
To answer your post, it will be used more as an investment. Even online crypto gambling casinos will also increase, no doubt!
4068  Economy / Economics / Re: how supply of currency decided on: August 28, 2019, 08:08:02 PM
From what I know that amount money printed is determined by country's income, the intention is that state will print money according to demand and supply needed in market. Why not print as much as possible? amount money in circulation causes inflation or increases in price goods and a decrease in value currency. Therefore, each government will adjust the money circulated to needs its people every year, well it can be determined through GDP.
Lol. No, the state can never print money according to demand and supply. This will cause a total chaos in the economy. Look at those countries that has suffered terrible inflation due to printing money because of demand.
The more the money you print, the lower the value of the currency turns out to be. Again, like you said, it is also true the price of goods will also increase. Just letting you know, the money circulation is not done through printing money or burning it. This is done through open market operations were the government buys or sells securities.
4069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What withdrawal fee do you consider as fair in gambling sites? on: August 28, 2019, 07:56:22 PM
Personally I prefer the primedice approach: fixed low fee and in case of clogged mempool the site "take the hit".

I also accept a dynamic fee based on mempool state, or a priority approach (pay more if you are in a hurry)

What I do not consider fair is when only a huge fixed fee is proposed, like 0.001 BTC. That really discourage crypto gambling in my opinion.
The huge fixed fee is actually absurd. The best one is the one where we, the gamblers can decide what fee should be paid. Look at crypto-games.net. They have a slider where you can move it to set your own fee. The best part is, the also suggest you the recommended fee based on the current network situation. They also let you know that if you spend lower fees, the confirmation time will take ages.
Paying a fixed fee becomes totally useless for users who wishes to cash out small profits at a time.
4070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We need regulation pretty bad on: August 28, 2019, 07:04:53 PM
Apart from scam artists in crypto space we have too many unprofessional developers that falsely act like they are really good in a particular field and try to build blockchain based projects but failed in the end,if there is really any way to make blockchain available to only professionals that are qualified it would have been a different story for crypto, even scammers wont have a chance, this is why i think we need REGULATIONS pretty bad.
Well, if only people were smart and did not fall for their trap....
Listen, all those scam projects always have some sort of signs and signals that will always turn up the red flag. You just have to outsmart them and not fall for their scams. Regulations in crypto currencies will just be really a bad thing. Putting on regulation means, a third party will come and impose rules, laws and take over every decision according  to their own will. Now if this happens, will crypto currencies remain decentralized? What do you think?
4071  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin currency stability on: August 24, 2019, 02:16:48 PM
To what extent will the economic war (between the US and China) affect its future impact on the bitcoin?
Will these countries resort to bitcoin to maintain their economic strength?  And avoid economic sanctions among them?
Will Bitcoin succeed in maintaining its strength and stability as it is not under central authority?
I am just wondering how you are comparing economic war (that is the sanction) with the price of bitcoin. You need to have a better understanding of economic sanction, then you will understand why i said this. Economic sanction means imposing trade barriers between two countries. This does not only mean ban of transactions between countries. If there is an embargo, then no way products can be transferred from one country to another country. I mean imports and exports will be strictly banned through any means of transportation. If this occur, how is bitcoin going to help in this case?
4072  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner Trader on: August 24, 2019, 12:39:10 PM
You are talking about this comment:

Do NOT Invest In Tradenix - Here's Why...
Kinda a sounds like a ponzie scheme were they build you trust, shows you huge profit, takes money from you and in the end scams you everything. The other reviews in trust pilot did seem kinda fake but still can be hundred percent sure. And look at their response over there. Broken English and they sound totally unprofessional. It is better to avoid them or you will regret later.
Trade in some other well known platform for your own security.
4073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: dont stop beening a bounty hunter because of present condition on: August 24, 2019, 12:28:27 PM
The following are reasons why i think its a bad idea to stop been a bounty hunter

1. Is it just me or it happens to others too?whenever i give up on something thats when that thing will make a good turn, the moment you give up on bounty thats when good projects will come around and you will lose the chance to acquire some tokens

2. Many keeps complaining about how bad some bounty projects are but if you keep choosing projects and you keep failing you will end up been a lot smarter when choosing next time unless you arent ready to learn.

3. Who says altcoin season wont return?many projects seize continues progress because of no altcoin season,i called these projects 'weaklings' but still there will always be good days no matter how long bad days stay around, altcoin season might take longer to come but im sure it will, what about you?
1. It is just you probably and quite a normal phenomena. Its like you see the price of bitcoin low and as soon as you sell your coins, just after few days you see the price rise. And don't see a problem here. If you give up, you can always join back once you see a good project.

2.You will keep failing and then you will get frustrated not smart. Out of frustration you will take stupid steps that will make you feel more imbecile.

3. What's up with people using the term "altcoin season". The term itself sounds stupid.
4074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: August 24, 2019, 12:23:15 PM
You forgot to mention not to get greedy. If you are making profit and you have reached some very nice stage of profit, you should stop for the day. Remember, there are house edge in every casino. The longer you play, the higher the chance of losing since in the long run the house always wins. The same goes for losses. Don't end up chasing your loss. If you lose a certain amount, then stop gambling for that day instead of going after your loss. You might lose even more out of frustration!
4075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchanges are not recommended. on: August 24, 2019, 12:14:36 PM
Use an exchange on your own risk. It is not always possible to do peer to peer trading, so you can't completely deny the importance of an exchange. So far, I have faced problem only once like two/three years ago using poloniex exchange. My account was blocked do to some false positive alarm triggered by their system. Their support was one of the shittiest one and it took me more than a month to get my account unblocked.
No matter how much they say that they are secure, there is always a risk of them getting hacked. So be sure not to store your coins in an exchange if you are thinking of holding them.
4076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which project you are more likely to invest in on: August 23, 2019, 11:12:17 PM
Just wondering in which project you are more likely to invest in.

1. project with very ambitious plans and very strong marketing.  however, with the great risk that he will never release any product and all this is empty promises.

2. a project that was slowly developing from its own funds, released a working product and just started selling it and after 1,5year on the market released tokens to raise funds for creating more products and make strong marketing. For example this one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4327261
Kinda feels like you are just advertising the thread. Anyways, obviously its going to be the option number two. Why would someone want to invest on a project that is all talk with no progress? That would be plain stupidity. But, yeah, sadly there are people who fall for their marketing crap and ends up investing on those shit project.
The second option is better since you get to see them slowly developing instead of ideally sitting and blabbering. At least you know that a product is being released eventually.
4077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: waiting for altcoin season might take time on: August 23, 2019, 11:00:06 PM
Well, if every people knew about this, they would just dump their coins and then go buy bitcoins instead. Why would they waste their time waiting for the "altcoin" season while they can make some easy profit with bitcoin? Their change in investment will further cause the price of altcoins to drop. Thus, further drop means people moving for further away from altcoin investment. But does this actually happen? Nope. This is because there are no such thing as "altcoin" season. The market is totally unpredictable. Who knows, the price might jump above the sky tomorrow.
4078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid mistake newbies still do till date on: August 23, 2019, 10:49:03 PM
Quit underestimating wallets and figure out how your wallets works either its ETH erc20 based wallets or multi walllets, you lose your private keys or recovery seeds you lose your coins and tokens,I was in a gathering on message when somebody posted his private key guaranteeing he didn't get an airdrop tokens,I wonder what may have transpired as of now,its like some still don't have the foggiest idea how genuine there wallets recovery seeds and private keys are, quit playing with wallet private keys and take them more serious like you doing with your bank account.
They got to learn their lessons right? Let them lose few coins and then they will either run away or be more careful next time. Well, they are newbies. What else can you expect from them? Give them some time. They will eventually get to learn how to keep their wallets safe. They will get to know how to secure their private keys and why they are important. Unfortunately, those people just hear about making profit with crypto currencies and thus they also join to make profit. They have little knowledge about the technology and how it works. They need to educate themselves first in this field if they ever wants to keep their funds secured.
4079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is happening now? on: August 23, 2019, 08:25:09 PM
This is how the market works actually. It is totally unpredictable and you will never know what will happen. The possible reason the altcoin price went down is due to the rise of bitcoin. As soon as the price of bitcoin started to go up, other people realized this and then sold off their altcoins in order to invest on bitcoin. Thus the price of alt coin went down due to the huge dump and the price of bitcoin kept on going up. If you look carefully, you will see that the price of altcoin again started to recover. This is because people started to buy off their altcoins and this time in cheaper price thus making profit from both sides.
4080  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Faucet on: August 23, 2019, 04:51:31 PM
It's more likely to be 20 sats. Anyway, my problem with faucet nowadays is that you cannot accumulate free sats. The majority of casinos require zero balance to be able to claim the faucet, except freebitco.in of course. Because of that, the only way to make a profit is to do "lottery-like" dice, betting on 0.01% probability to get 9,900x payout so you can withdraw.
And this is called faucet abusing. You will likely get banned if you consecutively keep on doing this and withdraw money. I don't understand why people come to casino to farm and abuse the faucet. The faucet is there for just to test out the casino and your strategy. And even trying to farm the faucet is useless. You will be spending a lot of time trying to reach the minimum withdrawal and the amount you will get isn't even worth keeping. Just deposit small amount, gamble and enjoy!
