4061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will not replace fiat currency on: January 15, 2020, 06:49:22 PM

we all knew that since crypto isn't accepted offline. we all need the fiat unless government will force all to just use crypto.
countries today are creating digital fiat currency as well like China and some countries are already following so eventually cryptocurrency and digital fiat will co-exist. they will be used widely because they are government backed digital currency which obviously considered fiat.
4062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to invest in Tezos in 2020 on: January 15, 2020, 06:07:36 PM
Well!! The crypto market is booming really well in the crypto space, as one of the altcoin called tezos is performing really good.

Several crypto experts assume that tezos have the potential to the its show ability in the upcoming years.
Read https://coinpedia.org/price-prediction/tezos-xtz-price-prediction/

Let me know your point of view on this?
My own personal point is never to invest on a coin because of its staking ability, is there any use case for tezos project? If yes then that is enough to invest on it, many staking coins have became worthless because they only offer staking feature

While its true there are also advantages to it.  Tezos price had gone up, its going to attract more stakers who will try to buy more of it.  Its not that difficult to see that its the profit they want when altcoins are in bulls. I'm not a supporter myself but I guess the glory of that Tim Draper who supported this project must have positive attraction to those people.
4063  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any further forecast? on: January 14, 2020, 05:10:57 PM

you should be checking the weekly chart of BTC/USDT because i believe it would have to be higher than 10K before we see some dumps. i could be wrong with this. but if there will be dumps, its just bits. these dumps won't even go below 8k due to strong support. and i really believe the near halving is what drives this price. nothing more technical i can give as i'm not that of an expert but weekly charts is too far from signaling me to short.
4064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: End to the Craig Wright FUD in less than a month - 3rd Feb 2020 on: January 14, 2020, 04:20:03 PM

him not proving he has the control over satoshi's BTC will not end his scam but he might just prove he has the BSV coins in control that's it. and that will give the approval of his BSV followers. playing dumb will save him from it by showing his certificate proving his is satoshi. its sure that he can't provide a sign message. exciting to see how this will go this feb 3.
4065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance WIN campaign fraud on: January 14, 2020, 03:03:23 PM
If you look carefully at the winners, you will see that almost all of them have fake email addresses.
Look carefully at email addresses Smiley (52.seconds)

I'm lost here, how did you figure out most of those are fake addresses?
That aside, it was pretty lame how they did that, one of the winners is the empty ID field

i'm also wondering how he found out these emails are fake. but believing no one in the right mind will create an email that starts with 7x*** or ?y***  most of the users will use gmail. so its surprising no one owns a gmail who won 50K WIN. however  the comments in the video says that is a scam youtube channel, this might not be the real binance youtube channel.
4066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Campaigns now trial and error method on: January 14, 2020, 02:04:36 PM

we shouldn't be joining a campaign of projects that isn't really doable and i think its best to accept only BTC from these teams to see how serious they are with their projects. it would appear these teams are just doing trial and error and if they didn't get the softcap they can just abandoned the project. bounty hunters wasted time without gain. escrow the BTC for the marketing/promotion campaign and NOT the tokens.
4067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest crypto mystery still revolves around Satoshi’s identity on: January 14, 2020, 12:50:23 PM
there are many mysteries in crypto including the reputable and the worse users in the forum and there are also developers who contributes well like the mimblewimble guy. but yep satoshi is obviously the best mystery that i guess we hope not be uncovered. privacy is the best thing this world has. you can never go out enjoying the beach when everybody knew you.
4068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are giving too much attention on the halving on: January 13, 2020, 06:03:54 PM
That's true tough. The whole community of crypto are always focused on how the halving will affect the price and not the adoption or the technology. It's as if they are just here for profit meanwhile I'm really expecting to be able to pay stuff online using bitcoin without the need of third party or using gift cards and honestly this halving is overrated considering that it will happen always happen every 4 year.

for waiting me this long, its not practical for me to actually think not of profit while i'm looking for which altcoin to invest. me hoping for adoption is always there even before BTC reaches up to $1k i'm already here wishing it would happen one day. there are few merchants accepting in my country only less than 5 of these stores that i've tried buying using BTC.

but with the help of halving that prices goes up enough for media to cover, i think merchants will be intrigue to see this payment option as alternative.
4069  Economy / Economics / Re: is it possible that the bitcoin was created by governments? on: January 13, 2020, 05:28:54 PM

without BTC and decentralize currencies, the government will just be doing fine and will enjoy the control to its people. there is no need for them to create troubles to themselves by having currencies they have no control over it. it would only make them look stupid if they are the ones who released blockchain as opensource while they now struggle to beat the cryptocurrencies because it created a new market.
4070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The Top Performing Altcoin In 2020 on: January 13, 2020, 04:47:54 PM

i can understand one will always bet for ETH for many reasons. its the top coin and if ETH rise up, the ERC tokens will also gain. if you own millions of ERC tokens, you would vote for ETH. but its too early to say its going to be the top performer altcoin.

in my opinion not eth, the top performance in 2020 in my opinion is xrp or link because xrp has a good FA analysis to make investors interested in xrp investment in 2020 and, if LINK because in 2019 was once the top performance and in my opinion in 2020 LINK will be the top performance again

it depends the how much growth before the year end but i'm also a  LINK follower i tink the project can potentially out rank the top 10 later on.
4071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 start of a fresh market for crypto. on: January 13, 2020, 04:07:28 PM
Each new year brings us some positiveness and the same has been done by the year 2020 I guess. We have seen a growth starting in this year and we can expect the growth the extend in the coming few months. The price for bitcoins or any other coin has been seen increasing if the demand for them starts growing.

The demand has been stable until now but in few months once peoples pays their taxes off, we can see a rising demand and also a number of peoples would than start getting into the field of the cryptocurrencies which would bring some positive response and maybe we might start entering the bull runs as soon as it happens.

this year though is different since halving is scheduled this year. although this isn't sure whether the bullrun will happen before halving, a good chance that investors are going to FOMO and they are going to buy more before the price spikes more than $10k then they may have to buy BTC more than the current price right now. 2020 is a good year to invest in BTC that's for sure.
4072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are stablecoins a definite solution against a bear market? on: January 13, 2020, 03:34:31 PM
It can be if they are really a stable coins who is backed up by fiat money at the rate 1:1, if there are complain against it then is hard to trust it and hold a lot of money on because if something happen and will not value 1 usd then is hard to put money there.
I agree it can be a solution but only if its truly backed at 1:1 rate, some devs might commit fraud, i'll only trust stable coins if the backed asset is confirmed by a trusted bank, there are times tether go below one dollar but it doesn't go above a cent i don't think that's a problem if you trust stable coins, i'd rather have my money in fiat.
maybe you only do an assessment on Tether, I suggest you can start using USDC because they use the officially audited circle foundation to connect to the bank, I'm sure this coin is really to your liking. It doesn't matter if you prefer fiat, but the topic is whether stable coins become a trading solution during the bear market, and of course I would say yes, if there is a slight change, prices will always adjust to 1:1.

tether sometimes will value to $0.99 and there are times that it also goes $1.01, a cent is not that much but if you have about a million USD like the whales in crypto, they might just complain why its price still fluctuates while its suppose to be stablecoin. stablecoin had been a great hedge for traders specially in the bear market, you wouldn't want your money drained out while the rest of the BTC holders are shorting.
4073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XVG good to invest ? on: January 12, 2020, 09:54:07 PM
spikes like 30 sats to 70 sats is extremely high already.

when prices dips its always good to buy and the more you need to buy when its on the bottom.  verge however isn't as attractive as people had hyped it. there are just coins way beneficial to invest than it. and often times people listen to advises that says invest to the top coins, if verge can't be found in the top 20, it may really be overlooked.
4074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would a Crypto Based Economy Make Things Safer? on: January 12, 2020, 09:38:15 PM

unless we create a blockchain that will prevent people from pulling a trigger. our government allow us to arm ourselves which is why there are shooting spree. schools today conduct shooting spree drills already, back in the days there were only earthquake and fire drills so no crypto base community isn't safe still. in fact even if we prevent people form owning guns, the crimes will be more bloody when criminals use knives and axes.
4075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: peepcoin on: January 12, 2020, 08:16:39 PM
Are you serious? this is a dead project, how in the world would someone think this is a good project to invest into. It is died with the ICO period.

Wow, People have rely lost money in this space, this coin use to have a marketcap of $16 million and now less than $200k. Goodluck to bag-holders

a deadcoin like this should really be burned to ashes so it won't live again. right now if they will start reviving it by $100 volume a day, they may be able to see people going into the exchange where its added and start buying. this thread is even just the start of it.  if they have been planing this form the beginning, they could have been the one buying the coin while coinexchange were about to shutdown. in their website, incredible it says "PCN Revival Plan"  pxn.foundation/peepcoin
4076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are smart as well. on: January 12, 2020, 06:38:30 PM
No one is immune from scam. This market brings good money, so there are whole attack groups that organize global fraudulent schemes. If you are investing in a new project, be prepared for the fact that you can be left without your investment.

But why bother with new projects? I understand the potential profits they may bring but right now very few investors are concentrating in those projects so there is almost no profit to be had, just look at what bitcoin is doing now if you were to day trade bitcoin you could have earned 5% during the last days.

Which may not seem like much but you will only need a few days like that every month to double your capital without taking a huge risk, but somehow many investors do not seem to understand this.
You don't consider the loss possibility, what if the loss exceeds the wins? It is debatable how profitable invest in the new projects compared with day trading the existing top altcoins or BTC. Scammers just use the emotions aka greed of the new investors and they fall to the trap easily.

during the ICO times, investing in new projects was very profitable because right after ICO exchanges are already up to list the coin and then trade on an agreed date. its only now that its not very profitable because the exchange asks more for the coin to be listed and teams are now greedy that they are the ones to dump the coins first. the protect themselves not the investors and in the end its the team with fake members that's obviously a scam.

4077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: War affects the Entire Cryptocurrency? on: January 11, 2020, 06:52:09 PM

it would make sense for a person to buy BTC though if there will be war coming into their country. i myself might just go an buy if the danger comes.  there are much gold in Iran already which most of them probably have a lot in their homes. but they nay not be able to travel with it outside the country to which BTC would make sense when they try to go over Canada or Europe. the good news though is that war won't happen.
4078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Says Forks Are Bad? on: January 11, 2020, 05:58:33 PM
so you go concluding that forking is money making?

i'd didn't look at it that way since i didn't claim the forked coins i suppose to have. those who did sure just dump the free money they get. but i'm sure those forked coins only have few people in their community fooling each other. there is not much people who are with BSV today, they can probably can nod each other to go back hundred to thousands of blocks to invalidate previous transactions.
4079  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China & The Bitcoin on: January 10, 2020, 08:39:27 PM

they do have cheap electricity and Chinese are known to be entrepreneurs so i'm not surprise if they people mining bitcoin in their houses. i don't think they are anti-crypto country since one of the top projects like TRON and NEO are owned by Chinese and then theres CZ of binance as well. Chinese are into crypto but the the law just says something else. its their government that doesn't like BTC.
4080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 - The year of true DEX adoption? on: January 10, 2020, 08:15:11 PM

a DEX would just be used if there will be a volume to it. there are plenty of these DEX starting from bitshares, WAVES paltform, etherdelta, blockdxn and to the latest we have today but all these would just be useless if we still can't find ways to pile a volume for DEX. we are all here in the forum spreading more information that its best to use dex if concern of safer funds but there are still more traders on CEX.

There are too many projects claiming to be DEX. Some of these are what you say ... But if there was already a really big DEX, the volume would have gathered somewhere.

there isn't really a real dex as they said. as long as there is someone creating it then its not a dex. even blockdxn isn't a dex since there is someone controlling who will add coins to it and develops it. something like this will have you questioning which is real dex.  not i'm not sure if the market is really meant o be decentralize but a coin could possibly be.
