4061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggestions for online gamblers on: April 09, 2020, 10:52:37 AM
3. You mustn't get loans, you will be trapped in debt at the end.

This one is also important and some gamblers just cannot stop getting more loans thinking they could take back what they have already lost.
When all loans gets piled up it is getting difficult to come back up.
All your winnings just for paying up all of this and you won't even feel the happiness of a winner anymore.
More enemies. Loans being extended to the point where interest is getting higher.

I don't like people reminding of my loan. I'd rather lose all the money that I have and then stop and rest.
4062  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin set to RISE into the Halving? on: April 09, 2020, 10:05:24 AM
No, I cannot see any sign of it.
No hype also.

We might expect more of a bear trend rather than a bull.
Let us not forget people are still spending money.
Bills are piling up every month and all of that will be paid in one bulk which will hurt a lot.
No time for people to be thinking of buying something else except for food and medicine.
4063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 09, 2020, 06:38:57 AM
He should not. We might not even recognize him when he shave that beard.
People will just say. Who is the new guy? Did they win a trade?   Grin

Harden's brand is his beard, and he is a star player so that beard is really big for him... if I remember correctly, I saw a fan with a postcard during the game that has a words " fear the beard"... they should fear this man as he travels a lot, he is sometimes called the traveler too.

I like Harden and I don't mind seeing him with his beard off. Maybe he won't travel a lot with his beard off.

On the other hand, we might see Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving back this season? I am craving to see how they work together. And how they perform against the East powerhouse teams like Miwaukee and Boston. But I do smell disaster on Kyrie, guy seems more injury prone.

Yeah, right.
Looks like that shoulder injury will just keep on going back.
I am also worried with KD. An achilles injury might be curable now but we have seen a disaster with Cousins.
It might also keep on going back.

The difference though is the weight. KD is more lighter than Cousins so it might take long before KD's achilles injury will show up again.
Me too, I missed watching the monster KD whatever team he is in.
4064  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The right mindset needed for all traders on: April 09, 2020, 03:48:21 AM

Why do traders lose?
Neutrally, most traders are attached to their funds and capital which affects their emotions and force traders to trade not to lose money.

I advise that we all Have a winning mentality while trading, Because in the market today; there are tendencies to lose few dollars or money on every trade, but we can overcome by having a solid reason to enter a trade (DYOR).

Reality check. This really happens.
Falling in love with the coin or because of the members that are making positive statements about it.
This happens mostly in telegram groups or discord.
I had been there. I saw it. I felt it.
Loved one coin for like a year and putting my trust that it will moon someday.
Worse happened, it did not. Went to dust.

Learned my lesson and moved on already even if those were large amount of money.
4065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Business That Survives when a Crisis on: April 08, 2020, 02:32:11 PM
can't all the rl casinos just adapt to online due to the crisis?

I suppose is not that simple, right?

but this will make them (and actually pretty much all business) realize the importance to have online presence and a possibility of scaling their business or at least moving part of it to the digital world.

Yeah it is not that simple.
They are not made for that.
It will be a lot of work to make it online.
Even when they do it with live streaming it will be a problem or a risk if they will really have the same amount of customers/gamblers as it is with live playing.

The risk of spending more than just waiting for the pandemic to slowly disappear.
Also, they will need employees for it which will be another problem and another expense for test kits.
4066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Campaigns in the Altcoin sections to join. Dont waste your time with others on: April 08, 2020, 10:08:54 AM

Leadhold is a similarly good project, but their budget is much higher than the project you are referring to. But anyway, every decision is yours and we cannot force them. BTW seems like good projects are coming and we should take this opportunity to join them and make a profit this year.

I am hoping for that.
Since they all have the time right now with the lockdown that is happening worldwide.
It would be best if they think through so that the project will be more promising than those which are listed here.

I am not much of bounty hunting but I do prefer buying coins with those who are handling it better than any.
Marketing is one good priority to look at whenever you choose one. They must have a strong team behind it.
Just like GeomaDao in my opinion.
4067  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 WEEKLY COMPETITIONS, fast bets BTC LTC ETH DOGE on: April 08, 2020, 09:09:11 AM
First of all guys, I hope you are all safe.

Now, I haven't tried the investment part of Yolodice before and I know it was stopped with a good reason from Ethan.
I am seeing some folks in the gambling discussion talking about it(investment in gambling sites)and I am really intrigued now.  Grin

Here is the thread.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5233669.0

Will it be back? Coz' it seems like there is not much trusted gambling sites out there which do this kind of service anymore.
4068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has Seen a Major Boost Amid Dollar Crisis on: April 08, 2020, 05:57:25 AM
I won't  expect much if I were you.
We are all in a crisis now and the panic is still there specially  for US citizens.
That amount of infected which is 300k+ is something to be serious about.

Do you really think they can still afford to buy things like gold or silver or even invest with cryptocurrencies amid this virus thing?
I am a bitcoin supporter but let us be real for now.
Not because a lot of money will be given means some of them will be used to buy bitcoin specifically.
After all, we won't know that.
4069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 08, 2020, 02:26:21 AM
Anyway, I kinda miss the NBA games, we could've've been close to the first round playoff games by now.

Just a week to go supposedly before the playoffs. April 18 if I'm not mistaken.

We should now see who's the winner at the bottom West where the competition is so close.

Looks like the history is not allowing Spurs to break their playoffs streak appearance lol. They are now surely eliminated for the first time in many years but not officially lol.
Looking at it they might not even give them a chance.
Grizzlies played 65 games while Spurs have 63. Even if they win those 2 games it wont be sufficient to get the 8th spot.
Same goes with the other 3 below Grizzlies.

Harden and WB, I dont know what to say but lmao  Cheesy

Harden should not think of shaving his great beard.  Grin
He should not. We might not even recognize him when he shave that beard.
People will just say. Who is the new guy? Did they win a trade?   Grin
4070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any Casino with good Investment Returns? on: April 07, 2020, 04:51:18 PM
They talked about it in Yolodice some time March 10, 2020.

Actually I am also waiting for updates from Ethan but with all this virus thing, he and his team must be having a hard time to do work.
But, let us wait for more time.
We are not in a hurry here right?
You could check this out to fill you with some information.

4071  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc:Could we expect a bigger push -up? on: April 07, 2020, 03:41:11 PM
Trying to be optimistic about it.

There are times when it gets scary. Like a $500 drop which sometimes pulls other traders who are in panic.
That means it could go way farther down if that happens.

So push the reality that halving is coming. It might be key for another pump. That is, if you are in a hurry or doing it short term.
But I still believe that the upcoming rise with the effects from the halving is not in this year.
4072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Robert Kiyosaki believes in Bitcoin on: April 07, 2020, 02:06:44 PM
I already have 2 of those.
Gold and Bitcoin.  Grin

I don't like silver though. Maybe it is not just interesting in my eyes. Also, I have been also faked before by someone else and I don't want that to happen again.
I'll stick with bitcoin instead. I have enough gold in my stash.  Grin
Perhaps, if I could make more money with some of my altcoins then I might add more.
4073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 07, 2020, 12:59:26 PM
That beard from Westbrook and skinny Harden. Cheesy
PG now has the lookalike of Montrezl and Kawhi lookalike Davis. Grin

ROFL

Credits to BR.

Lol, I thought that was CJ McCollum besides westbrook.. the one who edit that post has nothing to do, maybe he is done watching all the NBA highlights.
now, he is making fun of the NBA stars.  Grin... for sure there's more pictures like that out there...  time to smile for awhile in this situation we are at now.
Yeah! LOL, that made my day.  Grin That's really CJ.

Report: NBA Examining Coronavirus 'Blood-Testing Devices'

"The NBA and NBPA have been collaborating in assessing the viability of multiple blood-testing devices. ...That could provide accurate results within a matter of minutes," Holmes wrote on Monday. "The league and players union have been looking at what those familiar with the matter describe as 'diabetes-like' blood testing."

Thanks again for the quick share of links mich.
This is a good idea.
But this might be another big expense for the NBA management.
It will be a good idea too if they will let the players contribute for this one since they will be the one using it for their own health.
They don't want to be the one spreading it too.

4074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT trusted to use? on: April 07, 2020, 10:29:34 AM

What is your opinion about the USDT coin?

I use the DAI to keep the stable value & will shift to the SAI in the near future where the money I'm not investing.
You already have the answer.

Currently, USDT daily trading volume is over the Bitcoin trading volume and fourth highest market cap according to Coinmarketcap. My opinion is We can't trust the centralized stable coin to keep the money. Also, news around the USDT is not good, and it may be shut down by the authorities.

You can't trust it. You should not keep your coins in an exchange. Better to just cash it out if you don't have the right means to keep it.
Or, you could just trade it to another coin and put it in a hard wallet.
That is all the options you could get to avoid a higher risk.
4075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 07, 2020, 03:57:10 AM
Commissioner Adam Silver speaks about the current state of the league just one hour ago.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2885395-adam-silver-says-he-does-not-expect-decision-on-resuming-nba-season-before-may

He said: Not to expect any decision in the month of april. Undecided

Practically speaking, they need more information before making such difficult/important decision in this time of crisis.

With the growing number of people infected with Covid-19 in USA they are having a difficult time on what to do.
I think they are all in panic by now.
Better just stay at home first. This will end soon with the help of each person disciplined into not going out.

If I am in the Commissioner position, I may not have the power anymore to decide all this kind of things when seeing how fast the pandemic is spreading.
He should take a rest for now and maybe that way he could think of something else after this worldwide sickness.
4076  Economy / Speculation / Re: Managed retirement funds safe to invest or should I stick with cash? on: April 06, 2020, 03:32:54 PM
Instead of cash why not gold?

I asked my wife for so many times into where the money should be invested with in case I am done with buying bitcoin and other crypto currencies.
She always says gold.
I ask why? She says it is like an emergency food or wine.
As it grows old its value keeps on soaring high and she never have a single doubt as she talk about it.
So, I buy her gold. Earrings, necklaces and anything but, she never wear it.
She just stash it somewhere in her wardrobe.  Grin

Have you thought about that? It is long term but it could also be a good idea to give to the kids when they grow up and I am near death.  Grin
4077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 06, 2020, 01:55:12 PM
I have convinced myself that the NBA regular season and post season are CANCELLED. due to the rising number of infected people in the USA.

Just want to clarify something, what do you guys thinking? The whole NBA season will be just postponed or cancelled already? If the latter one hapoens, then who is gonna be the proclaimed champion? I am curious about this issue because recently I saw a post on FB (one of sport related pages out there) that if NBA failed to continue the season then they will go with the point system something like that thus Lakers will be the overall champion. Is it a rule? How true this is? Huh

No, that is not how it will work.
Perhaps you have read another April Fool's prediction.

They cannot just proclaim one champion base on something that easy.
It will be not fair for other teams who had tried their best just to get to that 8th spot for the playoffs and specially for the Bucks who had an outstanding season.
It cannot be just a lottery too since that will sound stupid.  Grin
We will need to wait for more details about this and they will also need the permission of other teams management on how it will be done.

So it could be outdated.

Also, I find it difficult to understand how the hell they will not input bitcoin but let us go through it instead.
First, they used BTC as part of the name of the website URL.

Then, the title of the website or what it is all about.

Also, the article title.

Lot of contradictions. I don't like it.

I will not list here high market cap coins in this article instead of Ethereum. High market cap coins low-risk investment compared to the low cap coins.
I am reader, but not just this types. It should be equal.
Also, there are stablecoins which again contradicts what he said earlier.
Good thing he put a disclaimer.

Please also add Yolodice in your list.
Dicing is fun too if you got bored with other games.
You can check the link at my signature if you have some time.

I know some people here would want games that takes some time but boredom also strikes most of the time and if you want fast money then dicing could be the key to it.  Grin

Thanks for the list though.
4080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Birthday Satoshi, April 5, 1975 on: April 06, 2020, 06:48:54 AM

"As a subtle jab to central banks, Satoshi chose his birthday as the date the US made gold ownership illegal through EO 6102 April 5th. He chose 1975 as his year of birth which is the year when the US citizens were allowed to own gold again."

Nice.
It's like he knows people will look for flaws of his work so he stamped a seal to prove what he is working for.
Just to be sure. Everything is like in order already before he even made any move.

I didn't know about this. Another good reason into why we should support bitcoin more.
The guy who is behind this is a real genius from day 1 until he left everything to the people.
