As of the Brentford game, Leeds started conceding many goals in one game. They conceded 2 goals from Brentford, 3 goals from Chelsea and 7 goals from Manchester City. While they were conceding a whopping 12 goals in three games, they scored 4 goals also. Scoring this much in three games is not bad actually. They have been productive when it comes to their attacking line. But especially the last game against Manchester City ruined their world.

It looks like one of Italy and Portugal teams are going to be eliminated in the playoff stage. Italy wouldn't have much problem on qualifying for the final game of this stage. Because they have a very easy opponent to beat like North Macedonia. But I'm not going to say the same thing for Portugal also. Because they don't have a very easy job against Turkey. I must admit that Turkey were really bad for a particular time period in the Qualifiers. But they started performing better in their last games. They can cause Portugal to have a really hard time against them. And who knows, maybe Turkey can eliminate them. But it is a low probability in my opinion.

Chelsea are going to play a home game against Everton tomorrow night. When we take Everton's current form into account, we can easily say that Chelsea are the favourite side by far. As the game is in Stamford Bridge, they have even a bigger opportunity to win. I remember the Everton - Arsenal game which Everton won by 2-1. But it doesn't happen too often for them in this season. Chelsea should be able to defeat them and move on.

Bayern Munich have a point difference of nine points with Dortmund temporarily now. Because they played one of their most productive games last night. It was an away game against Stuttgart which ended up with a 5-0 win for Bayern Munich. The players must be very contented with the level of their effort. Lewandowski and Gnabry showed perfect performances without doubt. And it is time to win for Dortmund too today. They must defeat Greuther Furth to maintain the old point difference with Bayern Munich. And it should be a very easy game for them.

Real Madrid proved once more that they really are the biggest candidate to become the champion team at the end of the season. They got past Atletico Madrid by a 2-0 win and they had the game under control most of the time. Sevilla and Betis are their nearest opponents in the league standings now. Sevilla are at the 2nd place and there is an 8-point difference between them and Real Madrid. And Sevilla have a missing game also. However, Real Madrid look like they are going to continue to win this week also as they are going to have a home game against Cadiz.

Mercedes did everything they could to see FIA correcting their mistakes about the last race but nothing has changed at the end of the day. And I think that the champion shouldn't have changed even if FIA found Mercedes rightful about this situation. Verstappen didn't have any role in these mistakes in the end. He just raced under the same conditions as the rest of the drivers. And considering the whole season, I think that Verstappen deserved the title even a little more than Hamilton as he got one more wins until that race. But I still think that they both deserved the title of course even though Verstappen became the winner.

Arsenal are going to play a home game against West Ham a day later. And this game carries big importance for each team undoubtedly. Because they both are fighting their way up in the league standings currently. And this is a golden opportunity for each team here. Arsenal will aim to defeat West Ham and get one point ahead of them in the league standings. And West Ham will make a big effort to keep the gap or maybe even open it if they manage to be the winner here. If I place a bet on something, I would prefer "both teams to score". Because I believe that this can happen even in the first half.

There isn't any game this weekend in the Ligue 1. There is going to be a gap like eight days before the next match week starts. This is a quite long break for all of the teams to rest for more time and get prepared for the next fixture better. It is like nothing is changing for PSG in any case. They still defeat their opponents one by one most of the time without considering they play the game in a tight or comfortable schedule. The Ligue 1 has started becoming worse than the Bundesliga as PSG are much more dominant in comparison to Bayern Munich.

Roma didn't destroy the hopes about a comfortable win and ended Spezia in their home game by 2-0. But there was a balanced game most of the time and Roma couldn't dominate any half. They were just a little better than Spezia in the first half. But they still got the win they were aiming to get. The only and most important thing Roma need to do from now on is to improve their effort week by week. Mourinho should search for a way out of their bad form and they should be able to go up in the league standings.

In the recent times, I have been just enjoying the tough competition among the top three teams: Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord. The drop in Ajax's form some time ago was really good for me in some way because the competition level started getting higher now. And after the last games, PSV have even taken the first position in the league standings which is more interesting to see. We weren't seeing such scenario for a long time as Ajax were dominating the league most of the time. I wonder if there will be a new champion this time.

It was an unsatisfying weekend for Dortmund for certain. They couldn't even manage to defeat Bochum without thinking that it was an away game. Away game or not, Bochum team are no match for Dortmund. And as Dortmund were following Bayern Munich closely in the league standings, this was another game for them to defeat without having problem. But Bochum somehow managed to secure a draw by 1-1. And now the point interval between Dortmund and Bayern Munich has gone up to 6.

The only game left seems to be Roma vs Spezia for the recent week now. Roma have a two-game losing streak in the Serie A now and they would really like to destroy Spezia here in Stadio Olimpico. Spezia are one of the worst teams in the league now as we see them in the relegation zone. And they got three losses and one draw in their last four league games. In this case, I'm taking Roma's victory here for granted. And it'd help them gather themselves up too.

The Rennes vs Nice game was another delightful game of the weekend. And Rennes got a disappointing loss in their home game by 1-2. And I think that Nice were lucky at the same time. Because we can clearly see from the statistics that Rennes played much more dominantly. They had so many chances to score but only one of them ended by a goal. And this crucial victory helped Nice to close the point difference more with Rennes. They are one point behind them now.

There are two hours left to the draw to take place. And let's have another look at the clubs in the draw:

I would like to share my prediction about the draw:

Manchester City - Benfica
Liverpool - Villarreal
Ajax - Chelsea
Real Madrid - Salzburg
Bayern Munich - Sporting
Manchester United - Atletico Madrid
Lille - Inter
Juventus - PSG

I don't expect many draws like a finale and I hope that it would be the case. Because it would be more exciting to have that kind of draws as of the quarter final games in my opinion.

Newcastle got another huge defeat against Leicester in an away game this time. It was a 4-0 loss and Newcastle had really nothing to be able to prevent it. Actually, they found so many goal chances but they had 25% success on their shot-on-target attempts. They defeated Burnley last week by 1-0 and I thought that this would be a good thing for them to start having a better form. But Leicester were a really tough opponent in the end. And their next game is also going to be a very difficult away game against Liverpool.

PSG have a really extraordinary dominance in the Ligue 1 now. They hosted Monaco today and obtained another victory in their home game by 2-0. I thought like maybe Monaco would cause them to stumble considering Monaco's recent good form. But it didn't happen. PSG players were so determined to win that they finished the job in the first half. Mbappe and Messi are the best for them now. Their incredible efforts help them move every obstacle they come across out of their way one by one. And it seems like they are going to be the Ligue 1 champions by dominating the season completely.

When I compare all of the games of this weekend, I see that the Chelsea vs Leeds game was the most competitive and delightful one to me. Chelsea had a big difficulty in beating Leeds in Stamford Bridge. Leeds made a great deal of effort against Chelsea and played fearlessly. But they were still not able to prevent themselves from losing by 3-2. Chelsea were nearly losing two points but Jorginho scored another penalty and they took the deserved win.

First of all, it was a historical race that's for sure. I will always remember this race as a great one. In the end, the champion driver was decided in literally the last lap. This kind of incidents don't happen too often in F1. I enjoyed watching most of the race and the last moments were just incredible. And when it comes to the incident Mercedes were angry about, I can say that FIA made a big mistake there without doubt. They should have obeyed the rules and safety car should have waited until all of the lapped cars catch up with the remaining drivers. And this means that the race should have ended under the control of safety car. So, I really am curious about whether the final decision for the title winner will change or not.

There is less than an hour left for the Madrid derby. I'm already getting excited a lot about it. Real Madrid are going to be favoured still and they have a big advantage in their home game here. There is no missing player for Real Madrid except Ceballos. It must be really good for them to see that Benzema has bounced back. For the Atletico Madrid side, Luis Suarez's condition was doubtful but it looks like he will be able to play. Then let's just enjoy this huge game!
