4081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's with these Binance ICOs? on: March 03, 2019, 11:33:53 PM
After Bittorent, another project (Fetch) had another sold out ICO. After many claims that "ICOs are dead", why is it that we still have these ICOs being sold out in a matter of seconds?

Is it because it's held on Binance?
Maybe Binance is one of reason why people really hype to buy an ICO. Because we know Binance is one of big market for now and list a token in there is really hard. And some token that can listed on big market usually have big price.
4082  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for when Getting Stuck on: March 03, 2019, 11:32:07 PM
I experienced that often when I'm still a beginner in trading and I sold several of the stucked coins before their value go down significantly. I only hold a coin if there is an upcoming event like hardfork, main nets and other positive developments because their prices will certainly go up. Before buying a coin, I often make a research first to find any significant event in the future that can possibly push its price up to avoid being stucked in trading.
But do you keep holding while waiting for such type of events you mentioned in your comment and it never comes, I don’t think it best to keep holding for short traders.

No matter how bad it is, there must be a fluctuation in price a day for that particular day, holding and waiting for such events is good for a long term investors and not day trader and I think the author of this post is a day trader because the post doesn’t portray him as an investor. I day trade a lot and once I see that a price gets stuck too long, I sell and start again.
Traders must know what to do in trading when they get stuck. ANd each trader have their own way to get out from that. Maybe if that man is skilled enough he will think like you but if new trader, especially who don't know about it, they only can hold it.
4083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people but bigger bets in sports compared to other type of gambling? on: March 03, 2019, 11:29:35 PM
I would like to know why people are trusting their luck more in sports gambling compared to other type of games.
Personally, I put bigger bet on sports because I believe I have a little skills that would give me a better chance of winning, but I'm not really serious with sports gambling.
I think because they confident with their bet and sportsbet is kind of bet that different with others. They can use their skill on it and it is not only depend on their luck for win. That is why sportsbet is good to pick than others.
4084  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: yobit about to take off ? on: March 03, 2019, 05:11:21 PM
so my account has just been frozen for no reason i use it to transfer my mining earning to btc and they froze my account out of nowhere and they are reading my support tickets but just not answering them, with my .25 btc worth of coins in account. anoter cryptopia scam coming ? i suggest pulling your funds out of there for now  Embarrassed i loved yobit for the fact that it had tons of altcoin but now 90% of wallets are offline with no response from admins or yobit team and now they are randomly freezing acounts. Do what you will with what ive said but if it goes down due to (hacks) cant say i didnt tell you so
1 Thing that i know is, Yobit is lack of support. One your account get problem or anything like that, you will get long respond from their customer service and then it is like get ignored by them. If people who not face problem in Yobit yet maybe they think Yobit is ok, but for who already get different experience, they will say opposite of that.
4085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Managing Your Altcoin Assets on: March 01, 2019, 04:51:32 AM
I have over a hundred different Altcoins, some I bought in ICO, some from Airdrop and bounty and some I bought from exchanges and selfdrop.

My problem is that I have an issue managing them, whether to sell some and keep some, but I don't even know the ones to sell and the ones to HODL, and they keep turning into shit, a help will be appreciated buddies

before deciding to sell your altcoin assets, you must know one by one first whether the coins you have are already registered in the exchange market. it's good if you do not believe in the growth of coins that you hold in the future, when the type of altcoin that you have already has a high enough value in the market immediately to make a sale, from the sale you can change it back to some potential coins such as bitcoin and ethereum because these two types of coins have good potential for the future
This thread is on October 2018 maybe a lot of coins that people have decreased very much if want to sell now, just hope for OP maybe he already sell his tokens that bought from ICO because it is most important thing to save.
4086  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I wish I dump all the BTC in late DEC 2017 on: March 01, 2019, 04:42:08 AM
what a year, wish I dump all the coin in late DEC lol

and today, spend the 100% from that capital and bought it again, so u still holding the same amount as late DEC while steady with the 900% profits..
This is the same feel for majority of the holders as they did not make use of the opportunity to make the most out of the situation when the price touched the all time high valuation and then never thought of booking the profits thinking that the price would go high further, with every rally expect a great fall if the rally was a crazy one, never think twice about booking your profits and let the market goes down and then enter again and wait for the next run.
If people know when price will back down and up, maybe a lot of people will be rich and no one complain or regret why not sell or why not buy bitcoin when it is on right price. But in other side, it prove that bitcoin is really volatile and it's price movement is unpredictable.
4087  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too many exchanges? on: February 28, 2019, 11:28:00 PM
Yes when i visiting coinmarketcap, i see alot of new exchanges enter the crypto market. Offcource this will be make positive and negatif impact. The positive impact is this community keep bigger because more people will joining and use that exchange , and negatif impact is that exchange have issue of security because all of them is centralized exchange.
It giving us a lot of options which is good but we can't deny also that some of them were greatly just a clown were nobody have tried to trade cause of their reputation and looks like just a scam. This is also one reason why many investors and traders were losing their accounts because of being hack.
It is better for us to look for exchanges that have already established good market volume and have a  legit team members.
Glad i never face any problem from a website because regularly i only use  old market to trading. New market already good actually for now they make some progress but i only use them to sell my tokens.

Old markets are always good for trading because we know how potential are they going to be because they have very good development in the background. Potential development from those teams will always help us to hold those coins in long term too.
If me, i am type of people that not want to make a risk. That is why i preferred old way to trading. And even new exchanger is good and a lot of people trade tokens in there, they don't know risk behind it that can always come.

4089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your general sentiment on soft-caps for ICO's? on: February 27, 2019, 08:48:06 AM
Is it necessary for an ICO to have soft-cap or does it show a sign of weakness and missing confidence?
Softcap actually is really important for developer itself. Because they must already plan their project for worst condition. I mean with softcap, it must include money that they will use for anything that not expected before. So they not face any serious problem when develop their project.
4090  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Discussion: Bitcoin Market Manipulation - Pump & Dump on: February 27, 2019, 08:44:43 AM
Hello, community!

I would like to open a debate on pump & dump groups and their impact on the bitcoin market. I'll start off with questions, with my own opinion listed below, so we can get ti started: How do you guys see pump & dump groups in terms of impacts it had(has) on bitcoin? Do you think it is no big deal or it is actually harmful? How harmful it can be if your answer to the last question was latter?

In my opinion, pump & dump groups and the activity itself serves only the creator and close circle around him/her. So far, many people lost funds due to it and should be kept out of the industry. There are many other legitimate strategies around to be used instead of it (as to not spam with long text, few can be found here: https://www.cryptocointrade.com/about-trading/crypto-trading-strategies/)

What are your opinions on this?
I think if bitcoin pump and dump wouldn't really affect for future bitcoin. And people usually already prepared for that. Which have bad impact is if altcoin get pump and dump scheme, it can be dead coin and a lot of people can loss their assets easily.
4091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The longer you play poker the better you become ? on: February 27, 2019, 07:08:41 AM
What do you think can be a consistent winning player on this game? is this game of skills or luck?
the longer you play more skills you get?
I think if in poker, luck and skill is needed. Because sometime we need to get really good card to win the game even it use our skill to do that. But biggest reason to win match is if we have  really good card and win easily.
4092  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for when Getting Stuck on: February 26, 2019, 07:09:01 PM
Yesterday I placed a trade and was aiming for just a 1% profit on the trade. I left it hanging and the trade it did not clear... Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

It's still just sitting there and it is way below my target price.  DO you just sell that thing and start over?

DO you hold on and just... wait???
Why waste time if just want to lose your assets, if me my coin down below my buy price, i will hold it until get profit. Because we will only waste time and our mind if only get loss in trading. And hold can teach your mental.
4093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which are the most promising currencies in the first quarter of 2019? on: January 23, 2019, 10:45:02 PM
Which are the most promising currencies in the first quarter of 2019?
Not see there are most promising crypto in near future, because price always get like this and we even can't predict to where bitcoin will go. But maybe pick on bitcoin is good thing to do than take bigger risk on altcoins.

4094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Did Bitcoin REALLY Hit The Bottom? Are We There Yet? on: January 23, 2019, 08:38:57 AM
You seem to advertise the exchange nauticus. No one knows when the market will turn. How long can we discuss this?

It is over and now is the time for prices to recover and come back, I believe and have bought a lot to reserve for that to happen. If exactly what I set, I would be rich with selling my bitcoin at a high price, best next time  Grin
Unbelievable that Bitcoin will not fall yet and I think the end of this month will let us know that bears still dominate and can still surprise.
I think same of you, this year especially almost holiday for Chinese new year. Bitcoin price usually down so much, even we know chinese not support bitcoin again, i still believe there are some people still have it in there.
4095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are coins with earnings without investing money? on: January 23, 2019, 07:34:53 AM
As a bounty hunter you can earn free coins by joining signature or social media campaigns that project will give you if you gonna work for them.
I think what OP means is about he  not do anything and get coins  Grin, Maybe staking is the answer but OP must have certain amount coin that have POS and he can stake it in his computer. Of course it must me online 24 hrs.
4096  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading with 1 simple but very accurate trading tool, bollinger bands!!! on: January 23, 2019, 02:59:54 AM
Trading tool that i really can understand it's system is bollinger bands, or maybe that is something that my friend teach me for first time. Until now, sometime i pick in where i want to buy  a coin in market with it. But sometime i ask my friends in a group which coin good to buy and what rate.  Grin
4097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistake you should avoid when holding your Altcoins on: January 22, 2019, 04:39:08 AM
Early 2018 I had different altcoins via bounties, airdrops and small investment in ICOs. But the major mistake I made was waiting for bull run to come so I could sell and make large profit. But atlast the bull run never came. So I had to keep hodling till I got stocked in the Bear market.

I think you all should learn from my mistakes and never wait for bull run because nobody knows when the bull is coming because of the volatility of the market. Sell when you have decent profit and not waiting till you have a large profit. Thanks

If me i only wait at least ICO price to sell my bounty tokens. But, sometime we not see it happen especially for lately. Because i just know investor not really care about project and as long they get profit, they will sell their assets and change to new project.
4098  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: failure to gain profit on: January 22, 2019, 04:26:35 AM
The crypto market is currently very unstable. I am easily affected, in panic selling conditions like now I sometimes sell bitcoin at a price lower than the purchase price. The result is a fatal loss.

So far, I have only relied on news information obtained from forums and social media and a little understanding of the foundation of price charts and market movements to make investment decisions in Bitcoin.

Then what is the way so that I can make a big profit ...?

How to effectively avoid unnecessary losses ...?
I have also the same experience with you and i'm also relying on news and other people views though i have a little knowledge in technical analysis i still end up losing specially now in this year long bearish market. So know i just keep holding my coin even it register big losses i onow it can recover soon i need to be patience to earn profit thats the best thing to right now i think.
if you rely on news to make choices, the strategy must be like this, buy when good news starts to come, and sell when bad news arrives. but to do that, you have to monitor at all times to see and look for news, and that requires a lot of time allocation?
People in here called that buy in rumour, and sell in news. Maybe that is right, because when rumour come, people always prepared for that and start to buy coin that on news for example bitcoin. And then it is get pumped by everyone who buy it too. In that case, we must take chance to get profit from that pump period.
4099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Revolution or a new start? on: January 22, 2019, 04:15:02 AM
but BTC is easy to hack. it 's really terible that you salary is hacked at the end of the month
No, don't say that. BTC transaction is impossible to get hacked. If people's salary get hacked it maybe that people's mistake not really secure their wallet. So, it is different, with transaction that not secure or human mistake.
4100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how could i find an exchange for new tokens on: January 21, 2019, 05:41:29 AM
dear all
i participated in many bounties and air drops and i got some tokens
