Leipzig are going to play an away game against Mainz today. Leipzig are the 2nd with 35 points and Mainz are the second last with 7 points. I think Leipzig will definitely win this game and hope Bayern to lose points.

People having doubts on it? Tongue  Shocked
4082  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How about a currency with expiry date...? on: January 23, 2021, 02:09:39 PM
I understood it completely, because money launderers and black market illicit activities all keep their stash in thousands of these bills so the government wanted to smoke them out with no grace period.

But the reality was ,they knew before hand and all of them used some government employees only to change their black money to white.
The usage of illegal ways to convert the currency and absolutely NO PLANNING lead it as a complete failure.

One thing I can assure you this would face a fate like UNOCOIN too. I don't know when will these people realize that their advertising terminology can put them in troubles. In India no Bank can be opened by approval of RBI. There is a hefty process of getting approval to be called a bank which even PAYTM and AIRTEL haven't been able to comply with and they still just have the status of "Payments Bank", not a complete bank. Hundreds of NBFC handling AUM and Loan Books of more than thousands of crores have not been upgraded to the status of Bank but this new startup has started calling itself a Bank. To be very honest legally speaking I would recommend you all to stay away from this until it gets an RBI NOC to operate. Supreme Court has said that RBI can monitor affairs of crypto space it has just uplifted the ban. Don't do foolish things that would lead to trouble.

Absolutely right. Crypto banks are still a dream , which won't become reality soon.

As far for now ,just hope at upcoming budget i.e. coming on 1 feb
there must be some regulations regarding crypto ,so the danger of it  getting banned  again is gone.

4086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selling All BTC for ETH this Bull Run on: January 22, 2021, 07:35:44 AM
I have heard that some high net worth individuals are unloading all their BTC for ETH.

Reason Being is ETH tends to outperform BTC in Returns in Bull Runs for example in 2017 and 2020. And with ETH recently making a new ATH in USD feels very bullish and looks it may do the same on ETH/BTC pair.

However after the the run or when they feel the top is in they will return the Ethereum back into BTC and hodl.

Do you think its a good idea to hold more ETH than BTC rn?

They are two biggest crypto currencies by market capital but they are totally different as they were developed for different reasons and with different internal dynamics.
For a particular instance ,turning your btc to eth  can be a good idea ,as seen lately ETH touched its new ATH while BTC was surfacing in red. But ETH as a coin won't be able to overtake BTC . BTC is like a parent ,whose up and down do impact to it's children no matter what.

नमस्ते दोस्तों आप सब को! भारत में क्यों क्रिप्टोकरंसी को बयान किया जा रहा है इसका कोई रीजन क्या हो सकता है दोस्तों।
Clear taxation policies will be there. Budget is around the corner , there is a vibe that cryptocurrency won't get ban in india.
4089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bad will the bear market of 2021 get? How low will BTC go? on: January 20, 2021, 12:39:04 PM
I think gold is worthless garbage. So why would you assume most people would like gold and not think it's garbage.
Do you really think they would just love high fees, slow transactions and also other problems? Why would you assume that?

On serious note I hope for $5k/BTC in 2023 to rebuy.

Haha. I guess the stock market would be more your thing. Low fees, even free at Robinhood. Very fast transactions using most stockbroker accounts.
 Cheesy

If you invested in Tesla stock last 2 years you would have made more money than in Bitcoin, there is nothing special about btc, there is more money to be made elsewhere with less risk.
1. Tesla share gained more which means it's more volatile, which ultimately means more risky. If we see the long term bitcoin chart then bitcoin is only moving upward over the years.

2. Shares are held in Demat account which is maintained as centralized database. Bitcoin is stored in blockchain which is distributed hence more secure. It's not possible to change the blockchain data easily.

3. Crypto trading fees is lower than stocks. With the introduction of platform token like BNB, maker/taker fees is now as low as 0.075%. lowest ever! With no annual maintenance charges, believe me nothing!

4. It takes T+2 days usually for stocks to get delivered in Demat account and for trade to get settled. Settlement is instantaneous in case of crypto and only takes network confirmation time to transfer to personal wallet.

4091  Local / India / Re: Would crypto e-commerce in India ever work? on: January 18, 2021, 07:46:45 AM

I don't think so it will work. As it is neither legal nor illegal right now and rumors were Government is thinking about passing laws in the parliament regarding it's ban.
Moreover, as it is decentralized so government would never allow it to work in that large sector . It will unfortunately end in dark web.

Although, the news isn't in media yet but I have received the update that Finance Ministry is going to announce initial set of crypto regulations in Budget speech on 1st February. Government was seeking the suggestions on this from notable people involved in crypto economy in India and few of my contacts were asked too. The regulations will also include the clear taxation guidelines and tax rates. Cryptocurrencies aren't going to be banned in India.

1 Feb is around the corner , I hope it doesn't get banned.
After the clear declaration of crypto regulations, a big share of people going to invest in crypto in India as the main concern of Indians is the legality status of crypto currency.
4092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: to see is to believe on: January 18, 2021, 06:54:49 AM
Mostly questions raised are -:
  • Who is responsible of up and down of market ?
  • It is decentralized so if something happens to your money then what?
  • Who is Satoshi ?( As no one knows him so it's a scam)

Actually they need solid proof of it's legitimacy. Even government of India has put uncertainty about it's legality , so mostly Indian parents are scared.

What do you think?   Anyone interested in helping me with this?   US?  EU?  Asia?

Interesting! People tends to get fascinate and take interest when they see such creative stuff. So promoting it in this way will be fun .
Actually if we see number of people getting interest in crypto currency or I say especially in Bitcoin is increasing . In India only ,a daily average trade of around $60 -$65 million worth of BTC was recorded according to  Monark Modi, founder and CEO, Bitex Technologies.
So, yes I am interested in helping you.

4099  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 12, 2020, 06:56:33 PM
...snipped...

Your attempt to lock bitcoin into some kind of "intrinsic value" framework seems to either fail and refuse to account for current BTC price prediction model and/or attempts to such framework is worth attempting to lock into bitcoin, as if it were a mature asset class.

Sure, we might look at the lines on the stock to flow model and see that bitcoins price goes above and below such price trajectory lines, so perhaps those stock to flow lines could be characterized as estimations of intrinsic value or the price that bitcoin is worth today, approximately.  Perhaps?  Perhaps?

I know it sounds weird but isn't this what bitcoin is - a decentralized network which runs on the protocol adopted by 'general consensus' using the code adopted by 'general consensus' which is regularly updated and improved by 'general consensus'.

So why shouldn't we calculate the intrinsic value of bitcoin (the currency) with the 'general consensus' approach as well? If we continuosly look into the market, it is very easy to feel the nerves of the traders. So if market shows excessive price support at the certain price such that trend line constantly reverse from that point then we can safely assume that most of the traders feel bitcoin should at least worth this much.

Currently like I said in previous post, the range of $17-17.5K shows the most appropriate instrinsic value. Even yesterday, bitcoin had short-term downtrend but as soon as it came in this range, it experienced strong bounce back and once again started gaining premium. Now it is almost $18.75 and gaining.
4100  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 09, 2020, 05:44:55 PM
I have been reading the charts from several years but never noticed the bitcoin's buy support like this in the past. So, I decided it worth writing a post in Wall Observer about it.

Marketable securities are mostly undervalued/overvalued depending upon their market price in relation to intrinsic value. Bitcoin in past has been considered overvalued many times. Sometimes, it surges enormously in short-period of time which leads people to believe that bitcoin price is riding on a bubble. And we can't deny that this notion turned out to be true at several occasions like post January, 2018 crash of more than 65%.

But this time it is different. After reaching ATH, it fell down to $16-16.5K range but soon recovered due to huge buy wall and reached new ATH 4 days later. However, it failed to break $20K mark. So, the resistance grew and it once again fell earlier today. But this time, it recovered much before $16.5K, we saw reversal in trend right from $17,800. All this indicates that people by general consensus are assuming that bitcoin's intrinsic value approximately worth $17-17.5K. Whenever, it goes above this range, it is trading at premium but premium is too low to be called bubble. Hence, we can still assume that this is a start of a bullish trend and bigger picture is yet to come.

By the way, received this cute little shill e-mail from Bittrex Global few hours ago:

Haha, what was the last time when a reputed exchange shilled bitcoin like this?
