ROS did bounce back hard with a big win, I like what they did, they look inspired this season, probably because they have their old coach back again and for sure coach Yeng is very serious in trying to win another championship again, but the question is, can they stay consistent?
That is one factor that Yeng is back. I'm not expecting that the lead would that be much for ROS and it's Ginebra that's likely to win in what I have thought but it's the opposite.
Consistency is no question for Coach Yeng but that question should go for his players. Sometimes that motivation that's coming from him isn't really motivating the ego of his players but a few of them might take it personally even if they're professionals.
4082  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph suspended my account without valid reason on: September 28, 2022, 08:47:29 PM
4083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin island in the Philippines? on: September 28, 2022, 08:17:48 PM
Good plan in a good place.
But let's see on how they're going to make it happen since there's still a lot of people that don't know what bitcoin is in our country.
Boracay island is already popular and they can probably get a lot of businesses their to get involved to this project that they want to do. I remember that this has happened first in El Salvador before they have fully adopted it as a legal tender.
4084  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Isa kaba sa my mga bitcoin or any crypto noon? on: September 28, 2022, 07:36:22 PM

Basta bull run, may magbebenta at magbebenta.

4085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 27, 2022, 11:51:08 PM
Maybe that is the truth, but we cannot blame the fans for coming up with that speculation because the commissioner is heavily favoring these SMC and MVP teams. I had the same reaction the first time I saw the schedule and how good the guest team is. And because of the actions of the commissioner, even if it was of good faith, fans will always put a bad light on it.
Yes, they should be always open to those speculations from the fans because they always do that favor to the SMC/MVP teams.
The PBA is already aware of these and yet, they still keep on doing actions that will make their fans go with those hates and speculations that would be against to them.
If I'm the one making a schedule, I would make a hype on its very first opening day like making it Bay Area Dragons versus Ginebra.
4086  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep or sell ethereum before the merge? on: September 27, 2022, 11:19:37 PM
At least make anticipation for everything, even though in your mind it will be in your favor, on the other hand we also think about the unexpected, because we are still in a bear market that possibility could be detrimental to us, at least take a quick decision because it is the risk we will accept if we go wrong..
And the unexpected has came, majority had thought that it will be a pump for Ethereum after the merge.
But look at what it is right now, there's no pump and it's even likely going to fall more due to the market's situation and that's why don't expect at most times for positive things in the market because you don't know what's in it to come.
4087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: September 27, 2022, 10:54:47 PM
in my point of view BNB is not a crypto, it is based on Binanace company ! so it shouldn't count as cryptocurrency ,
If that's what you think, BNB is still a crypto and the company is Binance. The same goes for the CBDCs, we don't like it to be called as crypto and its issuer or developer are the governments but they call it cryptos.

But ETH is degenderized network and pure cryptocurrency!

Although BNB may have much more profit in short term, but imagine if Binance get hack ...?!?
Binance has been hacked before but it's the exchange itself and it's only connection to their coin is about being the developer. So if Binance gets hack, BNB has a separate network and if that worries you, should have just stayed in ETH.

Floyd is just enjoying his life with all of these part time huge pay checks that he's getting. Well, whoever are the organizers behind it, they've got budget for it and for sure it's all about bigger marketing that they've set for it.
Everybody now wants to be Floyd on how he makes money and enjoying the fame that he's got. But, I've watched a video of him on how he's serious with his business and matches like this is part of it so, he's just working hard.

Also, if they are not giving a good returns, they should have stop during the first exhibition fight of Floyd in Japan. And it's better though if we will se the number of live gates or if this is PPV televised not just in Japan or somewhere else. So that we can gauge how big the fight is and speculated on how much Rizin company is making.

Because it's seems to be bigger than a fight in the UK or US with promotions like Top Rank and Matchroom.
I'm not sure with the details, maybe you can dig on that part if ever it's available on the web. Well, if it's not going to give good return then the organizer didn't pushed for it.
But it seems that it's successful just like any other showmatches that has been with Floyd. And every time that Floyd is involved, there have been a lot of money flowing not just for him but also for the organizers and are part of the fights where he's the main event for the show match.
We'll see more again that will invite him to go to their respective countries just for a showmatch.
4089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 27, 2022, 09:55:35 PM
I have forgotten about that fight, thanks for reminding. Another easy money for Floyd. Google says that Floyd would get 20 millions if he competes and 30 if he wins that fight, and most funny, 1.5 million if he appears on a press conference. Surprisingly, this exhibition fight last more than 1 round.

Sometimes I ask myself, could this be possible if Japan mafia uses such fight for money laundering. I mean it is obvious that Floyd would win and his opponent is a complete mismatch. Paying such huge rewards for few minutes sparring? I bet Floyd did not even train for that fight.

4090  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading gambling in another form? on: September 27, 2022, 09:25:52 PM
Yes, that's the essential comparison of trading, gambling and investments, we're talking about it with the risks that they all have.
And they're not different for having it because they all do require to have risk and there's no risk free when there's a chance to gain money. The principle is what differs and everyone can have their own explanation towards the comparison of these ways of making money aside from gambling itself.
Calculating the risk and reward ratio is a big dale, it is not going to be that easy. Let's realize that it is not going to be easy for people to end up with this kind of risk and then get away with a big reward most of the time. Imagine you are gambling, you wager 1% chance to win for a 100x return, that means out of 100 tries, you will only win once on average, which could mean you could win it on your first try, or you could with in on your 185th try as well and lose money because of that.

Hence, same goes with investment as well, the bigger the risk you are taking, the bigger the reward but the lower the chance of earning something. People see bigger risk and feel hyped about it but lower chance of earning is a better word for it.
In investments and businesses, you can make it happen that if there's a small chance, you can increase that.
The work that's needed for it to grow is much different than doing it with gambling that's why it's harder.
You don't rely on luck mostly but you can have yourself as your only way to grow into those and multiplying your money through hard work, knowledge and little of the luck.
4091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 27, 2022, 08:56:37 PM
Aside from that award-related issues regarding guest teams, there are speculations that PBA intentionally modified the schedule of the Bay Area Dragons to face first those teams that are not on the top tier. In that way, top-tier teams like SMB, Ginebra, or TNT can scout first the skills and talents of this guest team to fully prepare once they will now faced-off against the Dragons.

What's your take on that speculation guys? It does make sense or not? Smiley
Well, it's been noticed but there's no way to change that anymore as long as they'll be able to fight with all teams then that it should be.
It's noticeable that the best teams were the last to face the Bay Area Dragons. It makes sense and that's why we just hope that the SMB, TNT, Ginebra could beat the Dragons when it's already their schedule.
4092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB to $1k? on: September 27, 2022, 08:31:08 PM
$1000 for BNB I believe can be achieved, moreover BNB is a very good project, and supported by several institutions,
of course this is a positive value for Binance to be able to achieve new ATH, reportedly Binance will also partner with Nigeria to create a blockchain-based Digital Economy,
of course If this is realized, I'm sure the number of users from Binance will also increase.
We'll see it by the next bull run if that's going to be plausible. Because it seems that many don't think that it can reach it anymore.
By counting how many times BNB has to grow then it should be around by just only 5x and we'll get to reach $1k soon.
It may not that possible for now but it was near there when it has peaked to its ATH.
4093  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: September 27, 2022, 12:52:41 PM

4094  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Binance acquiring PH firm to secure VASP & EMI licenses on: September 27, 2022, 11:38:12 AM
4095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some projects which can grow bigger in the next few years on: September 26, 2022, 11:16:03 PM
I think just investing in big coins will results good considering how much these big coin has lost its value so far, mostly they have lost 60% of their value so there's definitely bigger chance of these coin making comeback than the new coins scoring massive increase, therefore I think coin that can grow bigger are like eth, bnb, btc, and then the other high ranked coins in general.
I can imagine what these people are thinking about looking for projects that can multiply by 10x up to a hundred times.
It's because if they invest in bitcoin right now, it'll take time until it goes up to at least doubled of its price now.
And the same goes for Ethereum, the higher the value, the slower its progress in terms of pricing. But these people, don't realize that they're putting a gamble with that choice. So yes, it's possible but if you want a secure and stable growth, choose the cryptos that are on the top majorly, btc and eth.
4096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 26, 2022, 10:53:33 PM
I made a light reading on this and found out that historically, guest teams are not considered for individual awards. So this is not the first time it happened and already a norm in PBA.

I guess the Bay Area Dragons are aware of this before they committed in joining the conference as guest team. It should be in their contract. I just felt sad for players like Powell who is giving it all and performing absolutely the best because they will not be recognised even if the Dragons won the championship.

PBA should look at this and listen to the reactions of the fans about this. I think most of the fans would like to honor the competitiveness of individual players whether they are in a guest team or not.
They can revise that rule if it's already in history. But this would really discourage the other potential guest teams that are throwing their hats for the next conference. That's not simple to these players and for sure the management of these guest teams could be aware of it but that can be a factor that many would just go away and ignore if they're invited soon.
Most fans now are open minded and we're not bias if the management and the league is honest. But, we all know that the league is becoming a joke anymore and it's sad to see that whenever I go in the comments section of pages related to PBA, most comments are making fun of the league and its officials.
4097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 26, 2022, 10:22:28 PM
I've seen now another shitty rule from the PBA that a guest team is only eligible to be awarded for the championship.
But the players, are not eligible for any individual awards. Well, what's with this rule from them. Aren't they going to recognize how good Powell is or if Liu is going to be part of it?
They really are out of this world, they're already expecting Dragons to be champs and they're stopping the awards that the players of it could be eligible for. Okay, Kume is even already talking about the next conference even this conference has just started.
This is not a good way to invite foreign team and yet we will not recognize how good they are, well this might be on their contract which I still is out of our control. Though in PVL last conference they awarded the guest team with an individual award probably to give respect and thanks for their exceptional talent. PBA should review this one if they want to get more foreign teams in the future, this is a competition and the guess team should also be rewarded for what they deserve.
The team will be recognized as they'll be getting the championship title if they win that. But not recognizing those individual talents, this is really something crazy that these commissioners are thinking.
They're part of the league, even they're just a guest, they should be recognized for their talent. If an MVP is from the guest team, why they're not going to give it to him? What's something hard on that? Because of pride? That because of the teams are being exposed that they've become a farm team? Come on, Kume, they can do something better or else, other local leagues like MPBL, Filbasket and the others will cover those negligence they do.

You're a professional like a lawyer or a teacher in a respected university, will it harm your reputation if people around you or your students discover that you are into gambling, you're not really a compulsive gambler but gamble for entertainment, how will you explain this to people around you or will you explain to protect your reputation or just ignore them.
I don't mind looking at that person and sees it as part of his recreational activity and just does it for fun.
But, we can't stop the taboo on that part from those people that sees bad to the people that are gambling.
It's a matter of their belief to the people who gambles even they're professional people. It can't be stopped but not everyone will look at it as it is something bad.
4100  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading gambling in another form? on: September 26, 2022, 10:52:47 AM
Even if you learn and have knowledge in trading, you can't avoid losses. That's a fact that many traders are aware of.
Even if you're the best crypto trader in town having the knowledge, experiences and everything, you can't skip the fact that you'll still have those time that you're going to lose but, having those will minimize it.
Businesses and investing is you actually gambling with loses. I am not in any way saying that trading or investments is a gamble instead, I am saying, there is always a risk of lose when ever your trying to make profit on an investment or business.
Depending on your know how or how well, you are going to either profit or lose but, there will always be a difference as to what magnitude and how frequent you do this.
That's what makes the most difference in all else, you can't really shy away from being met by loses. It's not how the system of profiting making works!
