4081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For newbies only on: February 06, 2020, 01:30:56 PM
I would also suggest they search on coinmarketcap for the cryptocoins they wish to download. It's much safer to get their wallets and websites this way.
Not really a good idea to get them through google, twitter, telegram search due to the numerous fakes that exist.
4082  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: February 06, 2020, 01:03:15 PM
This would actually be a good way to invest in Bitcoin/crypto... and many people could actually afford it considering the unnecessary things we spend our money on daily or regular basis.
The deduction could actually be automated in a wallet.    Imagine  getting paid salaries or earning income in stablecoin, and a dollar deduction from the stablecoin to Bitcoin/crypto is made on daily basis. When the stablecoin fund becomes insufficient, the deduction is postponed to another and the outstanding amount is deducted when  you receive sufficient fund in the stablecoin wallet. This will definitely be very useful to many.
4083  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When bitcoin price is low, any slight movement is more profitable. Here is why. on: February 06, 2020, 10:51:10 AM
I realized this a long time ago when I started to trade because I had little capital and the daily profit was very little and whenever the bitcoin price increased a lot my daily profit became less. It irritated me and forced me to increase my capital to trade and make a good profit.

Only a few would benefits from little changes in price.

If your capital is very high, the person will have more profits and will take less risks

The most important thing is to invest what you can afford to lose. Adequate or good profit is probably what matter for both the wealthy and small/medium traders. What seems like large trading funds for small traders could be small funds for very wealthy traders. Profits from such funds may be  inadequate for wealthy traders.
So good profit is what matters, and it is quite relative.

4084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next Dapp you want to see built? on: February 06, 2020, 09:58:08 AM
Is this a decentralized privacy platform? I mean is the platform data distributed (or decentralized) around the world? I looked through your post for the word decentralized or decentralization but didn't see any. I wonder what the word Dapp stand for in your own case: "Decentralized" Applications? What currency/currencies will be used on the platform/dapps?
Well, I think crypto applications should be properly built to prevent all kinds of abuses or misuses. Alot of really important decentralization-friendly features need to be put in place first to keep the platform and users very safe.
4085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TIPS FOR NEWBIE GAMBLERS ! on: February 06, 2020, 09:02:44 AM
Interesting.
I regards to number one, I guess that is one of reasons (or the reason) why people's account get locked or something when they win huge amounts on gambling sites? And that's probably due to the kyc limits placed on withdrawal of huge wins?

Betting on reputable betting sites or using smart contract based betting sites should be some of the ways one can prevent issues in number two from occurring
4086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: February 06, 2020, 08:28:46 AM
...
if I had the opportunity to buy a ticket I would certainly be part of it. even though I'm almost afraid of winning Grin

I know that feeling... Is like winning a big prize but a big problem at the same time. The first year is free, but after that, this plain can ruin lives.

Most of the people who win big prizes at the lottery ruin their lives, is funny because we think a lot of money can solve or life but big amounts of money come always with big problems and responsibility.
I don't think the it could single-handedly ruin your life to be honest. After all it's just a plane, nothing too bad could happen to you. But the maintaining costs and all is definitely a big pain in the butt. Nonetheless, you could just easily fix this by selling the plane if ever or you can have it be rented in a local air liner for business or VIP class. In that way, you won't need to carry the burden of taking care of a luxury plane like that on your own. It's just a matter of thinking, and strategizing at the same time. You won't have to put yourself into that kind of dilemma on your own.

I would choose the selling route and use the fund for things I am really good at. Most likely things that I will do well in that benefit more people and are "profitable"... than from renting out the plane to benefit probably, few private jet users.
4087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: February 06, 2020, 08:13:44 AM
Basically, from my experience, gambling process is more stressful than having the outcomes. I can still remember what happened to me back in 2015, when I started my career in poker games. I learnt those strategies and their modern before I could play with others. This literally took me months before I could gamble, so, process is more tedious than the outcomes.

Learning poker in a risk free way is still worth it, than say, learning through trial and error with your fund. It can be an alternative way to learn skill-based  gambling though, but it's the risky way. It's probably can be made less risky if you gamble with what you can afford to lose in the long-term. I'd prefer learning in risk free way before try the real thing

I honestly don't think a cure will prevent more  calamities in the world. The most important thing is to address the underlying problem so that more similar disasters doesn't occur again anywhere in the world.

It will be fairly difficult and prohibitively expensive to bring Western hygiene standards to the massive populations in the underdeveloped world.  200,000 people are born every day, mostly to these impoverished countries.

There will always be viruses, but that will not be the downfall of humanity.   Starvation will be.  :/

You think hygiene and washing of hands will stop the earth from getting destroyed?
I totally believe rebellion and refusal to obey the CREATOR will lead our planet to its ruin.  Sin actually destroys the body/societies and not really hygiene. I hardly get sick since I started obeying GOD Words. But I occasionally got sick while I was in rebellion with HIM despite living a "healthy lifestyle".

Isaiah 24:4-5:  "The earth dries up and withers; the whole world grows weak, both earth and sky decay. The people have defiled the earth by breaking God's laws and by violating the covenant he made to last for ever."

How is the true situation of things in China? Is the health issue really serious?

Can I please know how the government really treats Christians and vulnerable people in general over there? Blessings!

There are already rumors of a cure.  May not be true, but this illness will not be the downfall of humanity.

As for how they treat personal beliefs - well, they are communist.   You have a lot less rights over there.

I honestly don't think a cure will prevent more  calamities in the world. The most important thing is to address the underlying problem so that more similar disasters doesn't occur again anywhere in the world. But will the world listen? I totally believe it's from GOD. People need to stop hardening their hearts.

4091  Economy / Economics / Re: Centralized exchanges have become the banks of the cryptocurrency world on: February 05, 2020, 03:49:14 PM
This is an extreme fact. Centralized Exchange lists the shitcoin what they want. Centralized exchanges charge huge listings fees from shitcoin. Their work is worse than the bank. If you look well at centralized exchanges. Then you will understand how they are listing shitcoin and dumping it to retail traders. Because they can do whatever they want. The most annoying thing about centralized exchanges is kyc.

I think "they can do whatever they want" is why centralized exchange is very unhealthy for cryptocurrency. They still even manage to do whatever they want under government regulations. There is low chances of such abuses occurring on well-built decentralized exchange.
4092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Facebook, Telegram, KakaoTalk- LINE is coming in crypto! on: February 05, 2020, 02:02:18 PM
Crypto" adoption is nothing without its ideals like decentralization, transparency, immutablity, censorship resistant, etc These are what makes cryptocurrency sweet. If you give me lots of money to create a centralized cryptocurrency, I will be very offended and probably tear the money in pieces. Just kidding (guess I will just ignore)
4093  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [Non-exhaustive] List of trusted and most known traders in the Crypto Twitter on: February 05, 2020, 10:48:05 AM
The more you follow "known & professional" traders from web, it become more easier for them to manipulate your thoughts which eventually helps them to manipulate the market. Because a real pro trader will never talk about his strategies openly in public forum - it's their trade secret! A pro trader will always try to safeguard their own strategies. If you find someone is freely talking about secret strategy, leave that place at once! It's always best to use your own brain!

I am sure a lot of traders here will agree to my point!

Traders who hide their secrets would be consumed by guilt when everyone else is complaining. I guess those that don't care to reveal theirs are probably hardened in nature or are suppressing it with substances.
You first point on "professional" traders manipulating people's thoughts is interesting though. But I think there are some that share important fundamental/technical side of cryptocoins that are worth sharing. Some others seem to be organized manipulators.
4094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fish arcade on: February 05, 2020, 09:31:43 AM
I was wondering if anyone made a fish arcade game (king of treasure, ocean king, etc.)with bitcoin or alt coins yet?
It’s very popular in Hawaii for about 10+years
Those kind of games are actually not meant to be counted among the games in gambling. Gambling is something which can give you profits with the constant risk common in each game. Gambling has not meant to be this easy as you consider it would be with some fish arcade or some of these games.

Gambling is been considered only by the grown community and games like these are actually meant for the younger generations. They never need to pay to play these games so it is better that these kind of games are available for small kinds and nothing related to gambling. Gambling already has a number of mature games which might give you higher profits if you are one of the most addicted gambler.

Oh, you mean kids just pay to play the game, and not really to gamble? So what exactly are they playing the game for? To just have fun or learn some fish farming skills?
I wonder which is better for kids though: playing paid games that have no valuable rewards for winners Or playing paid games with rewards for winners.
4095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's in the game, after all? on: February 05, 2020, 08:48:22 AM
Actually I am playing some dice also in which skills are doesn't matter and the only one matter is there is your luck. Yes! Your luck because in dice it is just a matter of luck in which the number that you bet may show when the dice finished on rolling, in which it is not necessary that you need some skills just to win, unlike on poker or baccarat in which you really need some skills in order for you to read what the cards of the other enemies in order to set up a plan on how you guys will destroy them right?
It is all about enjoyment, I also playing dice games in order for me to enjoy. Dice games doesn't need our skills, it is about pure luck. My winning rate in dice games is above average where I have 60% in terms of winning. Most of the gamblers are also prefer to play dice games because it id easy to underdtand due to basic mechanics. Dice games for me is all about enjoyment, there are times that I killing my time by playing that kind of game.

Enjoying the gambling game is what we should do because if we don't enjoy the game and only think about how to win the money, that will make us curious, and our tension will become high. Playing dice games is a way for you to enjoy and to have fun, but you don't have to spend more money because playing dice games will need the luck to win.  Most gamblers will spend their money until left, and they will always come back to the games and hope that they can win someday. If we can use gambling games as a way of killing time or spending our free time, then it will not be a problem, but of course, you will need to have control for yourself.

Probably better to assume that your gambling fund is lost already, If you don't want "your tension to get high".

I still don't think it's a good idea to enjoy taking risk with luck-based gambling. Those that are after the monetary rewards will likely stop once they notice their unprofitability after gambling for a long time, but the fun seeking gamblers could always rely on gambling once bored, unhappy, depressed etc. If the gambler's unhappiness becomes frequent, gambling will certainly be one of the things he/she rely  on to be happy
4096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New format bitcoin lottery (ZetLottery) on: February 05, 2020, 07:38:10 AM
Is there a why to check and verify the bot true balance? And what is the guarantee that the price or the exact price will be paid to the winner? By the way, it'll be hard to trust a newbie with no reputation on this forum. You probably need to do this on something with good escrow or you just wait and gain some good forum reputation.
4097  Other / Off-topic / Re: Society on: February 04, 2020, 04:58:34 PM
I wouldn't advice anyone to take such risk in a society that doesn't fear the "True CREATOR" nor obey HIS rules. You probably could do that in societies you're 100% sure will never abuse such privilege.  What society on earth can guarantee this? Most likely a society that fears the True CREATOR and obey his rules... better still, a society that is free of every kind of evil(a perfect society). If you're able to find such society, I strongly believe it'll be safe to trust them.. . But one lawless person can infect the whole of the society. So it's important to always isolate anyone with a little bit of lawlessness in him/her in such society. A perfect society will treat isolated people like they treat people in the main society. The place of isolation is just a place of healing with the Word of GOD and healthy environment/food/water. No abuse in any form.            That is the kind of society I would put my trust in.
4098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PSA: If gold were illegal... (Gold WAS illegal!) on: February 04, 2020, 04:29:06 PM
The following is a real-life allegory pertaining to gold’s new competitor, Bitcoin.

What would you do, if gold were made illegal?

Think it can’t happen?  Well—how many of you are American?  Private individual ownership of gold coins and bars was illegal in the United States for four decades.  “Hoarding” individual wealth in gold was banned from 1 May 1933 until 31 December 1974.  Vast amounts of gold bullion were confiscated from people, who were forced to accept instead the Monopoly Money known as “United States Dollars”.  Numerous individuals were criminally prosecuted for attempting to keep their gold—a crime according to Executive Orders 6102, 6111, 6260, and 6261, and the Gold Reserve Act passed by the U.S. Congress and signed into law by U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

~snip~

I just found this link from another thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5214200.msg53594883#msg53594883

What a fantastic post, lots of historical facts which were frankly not known to me. Using the gold analogy it seems Bitcoin and other crypto holders are at a massive disadvantage because all of their activity at exchanges has been logged and that alongside their bank transactions would be available to governmental agencies in a second or so of requesting/demanding them. How would crypto owners be able to tackle that when their personal information is already out there?

When it comes to people in power and the executive orders that can be signed off whenever they are in the mood, they can be introduced and implemented with minimal ease after they release various forms of legitimate information (or fearmongering or propaganda) to the masses.

When it comes to Bitcoin, people should be ready for all eventualities I guess.

A ban will only work in a one world government setting.
I believe while it was illegal to hold gold back then in USA, it was not illegal in many countries? Crypto/decentralization exist on the internet. Internet is global network. You will need to convince every government that crypto is a danger to humanity and the world. Fortunately, a well decentralized crypto can make any society much safer & help root out most evil and corruptions... Shouldn't we be allowed to prove this with crypto?
4099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Methods that fraudsters use to scam people on: February 04, 2020, 01:24:18 PM
In regards to number three, I guess they do that within the stocket? A store for example could disguise an infected device as socket... or strangers could even buy fake sockets and attach them in real sockets in public places.
Well, it's interesting how vulnerable people internet devices can be. This is why it's a bad idea to have important stuff stored in them.
4100  Other / Off-topic / Re: Video - How I Slowly Revealed Private Keys To a BTC wallet! on: February 04, 2020, 01:01:23 PM
I guess this was easy to crack because part of the private key is already known. But I wonder how something like this could be done profitably with lots of energy and computer power. I guess the person/persons who cracked it did it anyway with efficient/strong hardware whether profitably or not, used free/cheap energy, used computers that belong to others.

Keeping too much in one private still not a good idea though. Better to split(automatically/manually) large amounts into smaller amounts and recombine when needed. Could only cost more fees and probably slow the network.
