4081  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is bitcoin just for investors on: October 14, 2020, 11:43:47 AM
Personally as a trader I used bitcoin for peer-to-peer transaction my preference is based on the fact that I want anonymous and private means of transaction while avoiding the usual mandatory KYC demand from Skrill, paypals etc although some people utilizes bitcoin for investment purposes invariably for profit making others use it as a store of value thus providing a range of uses for any individuals depending on what purpose the user wants to use it for.
4082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Now Bounty Program totally worth less !! 90% Bounties are scam on: October 14, 2020, 01:07:18 AM
Many of bounty hunters do not have your luck and you skill in finding the right project, I'm no into bounty hunting anymore but I have seen so many bounty hunters complaining of  getting a lot of bad projects scam projects I agree with OP that there are so many scam projects and it';s hard to find the right project because so many projects looks good if you look at them.
Maybe there are many participants who want to join because of the large bounty pool that some of them don't do research beforehand. This is natural in my opinion because nowadays it is increasingly difficult to find a bounty that really pays, and it is more difficult to do KYC. Sometimes payers are also delayed for several reasons.
currently, it is not a matter of high bounty pools that have many participants. those who have good managers and definitely pay with tokens that have value in the market are a priority. Many projects that have small rewards with so many participants are still being worked on by bounty hunters without complaining. Those who come up with promises without a clear market are a potential scam.
Bounties with bogus rewards are suspect might be a potential scammer a lot of hunters are always promoting projects with a high bounty pools not minding whether the project has a clear cut roadmap, viable and feasible in a long run, most of these projects are later abandoned and dumped.
There are some solid projects with small rewards however these projects has future prospects when listed in an exchange the chances of their token pump 10x in the future is very bright having been managed with good developers and team.
4083  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Covid-19 and Bitcoin on: October 13, 2020, 11:52:15 PM
bitcoin is not affecting to corona virus because bitcoin is the currency that not holding money it is a blockchain and not a bank or remittance that need close contact to release money,i think this situations we need bitcoin to to grow community and government finances to promote bitcoin
The means of transaction virtually with Bitcoin was solely the major factor that had affected the price of bitcoin it rather impacted the price to rise after an initial decline or dumping,  Lockdowns measures had also contributed to having many new users and adopters staying at home thus enabling more people to learn how to transact with bitcoin having realized that Bitcoin is being accepted as means of payment in many businesses, as it is now with second wave upsurge in some countries the price still remains bullish an indication that Covid-19 wouldn't have any impact to decline the price.
4084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust newbies that starts projects? on: October 13, 2020, 05:01:25 PM
I know many project managers that handles good projects such as Jamalezaz, bounty detective, and many others most of them are either hero members or legend, I believe they have enough experience to handle it mere considering their ranks, not to say the rank is the only criteria to be a good project manager.i always doubt those project starters with newbie ranks.is it that they decide to use a new forum page,or were the restarting after being hacked or disqualified or how come a new be is handling a project? This are few questions that comes to my mind about newbie managers.
Rank matters a lot in deciding which project I will promote a newbie can never be allow to manage a bitcoin paying signature campaign except the fund had been escrowed with a reputable and trusted member of the forum this has to be with trust.
A lot of scam projects in bounty section had been managed by some newbies whose trust is not guaranteed although some higher ranked members who had one managed some projects too has some scam issues arising from non payment of work done by hunters.
4085  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC - What next? on: October 13, 2020, 03:56:49 PM
It seems to me that the second wave of COVID will not affect the economy as it was the first time, because then no one was waiting for it, and now everyone knows about it! So I wouldn't expect a strong price decline...
More so I believed many countries must have learnt how to deal with and curtail the virus based on the measures taken so far during the first wave of Covid-19 proper and adequate care is now given to infected persons and rate of recovery is high except the aged and some vulnerable people  some countries like UK had three tiers of lockdown rules the impact of this lockdown would not affect their economy much, above all I don't Bitcoin will experience any major dump, even after the first wave the price rallied tremendously after reaching a low of $3900+.

~snip~
here I don't understand with MU management, i think they are too early to decide to sacking Mou. (IMI)
I think it's not just management, supporters sometimes have the power to get the coach out. I've heard that Solskjaer has a lot more pressure after the big loss from Spurs. Then MU management began to approach Mauricio Pochetino to replace him. A difficult transition period after Ferguson retired. I think the coach needs time to win😅 especially when MU is filled with young players.

After Ferguson retired the whole Manchester United team changed.
In my opinion, it is not Solskjaer fault that the team is bad - even the fact that I do not like Ole Gunnar I still think that Man Utd will have the same results with Pochettino as well.
The management needs to spend money on the player and hire young talents from teams that promote them such as Ajax for example.
Even if Pochettino is hired now I don't think that will solve Man Utd problem as you rightly said IMO I think they should allow Ole Gunnar to continue with the rebuilding process of the team It will take some time before getting the deisred results, the team has some promising young stars that needed some blending with the more experienced players, although the team had a poor this season however MU management has to be patient with Ole Gunnar and let their fans know that the team needed more time so as to able to compete with the other top EPL teams.
4087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Not User Friendly Yet on: October 13, 2020, 09:56:21 AM
Bitcoin Not User Friendly Yet

Hello everyone. For all of us who are very pro Bitcoin and other crypto.
We all look to the day that more people use it and accept it as daily use.

However we are far from that. One thing that I am finding is Bitcoin is still not user friendly enough.
Many people even who are young like 25 and under and even over 25 etc. Are not tech knowledge or financial educated enough to understand.

I am thinking that even the apps out there are still confusing for people to use.
Sure many people may own a mobile phone but many do not understand how they work.

Therefore many people do not understand Bitcoin and seems too complicated still.

What are 5 things you think are needed to make Bitcoin more easy for people to use.

More less they can use and move Bitcoin without really being mindful of what they are doing in a transaction.

Thoughts
Maybe bitcoin is not getting user friendly or beginner friendly because if you have no perseverance as a businessman/woman then you are just going to waste yourtime with it and it will only make you spend money for nothing because bitcoin is not a playground where anyone can enter since it is very complicated and you have to be a better trader or holder if you want to survive. Every businessman/woman has a characteristics of having a long patience.
That is exactly my thought If don't persevere and learn how to use bitcoin wholeheartedly, you may absolutely be discouraged on how to use it due to some technicality involved in it however with dedication and willingness to learn one will able to surmount those challenges more so It is easier if a mentor can practically put a newbie through all the basic knowledge required so as to able to navigate all the user interface particurly when using App

My speculation regarding Bitcoin will hit...

My speculation regarding Bitcoin that it will hit $1800 in near future, I don't know when but it can touch to this line in the bottom, what do you think?
I believed the value you speculated was $18,000 not $1,800 It would have been better if you back up your speculation with some proofs in form of charting analysis this will bring some sort of validation to your speculation else everyone will take your speculation with a pinch of salt, although the price of bitcoin had seen a remarkable upsurge in the last couples of days, however this is not a justification to predict it reaching that value a major correction or pullback might take place thus resulting in dump to a support.
4089  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcoin SCAM on youtube right NOW! on: October 12, 2020, 02:18:52 PM
I would like to believe that no one else believes in such tales. However, given some positive news, such as the ATM bitcoin at the Tesla plant, and the growth of bitcoin beyond the 11,000 mark, it can provoke a wave of interest in bitcoin from the side of newcomers, and after all, they are the ones who fall into such traps and then blame everyone on the cryptocurrency not yourself.

The price of Bitcoin had been bullish now already above $11K, of course because of the this upsurge a lot of new investors probably newbies will be interested into investing in it just like the events of 2017 ATH however scammers will also seize this opportunity by devising any method to defrauding people no wonder they utilizes Youtube to carried out their nefarious activities due to the popularity of that media of course if that video was not taken down immediately some greedy newbies will fall for it.
4090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: October 12, 2020, 11:34:51 AM
I am very disappointed with the results of the matches France vs Portugal and Italy vs Poland, because it was surprising that these two matches
ended in a draw. Even though I bet big enough for both matches, it's really annoying that I have to suffer a big loss. But I was quite amused,
because two of my bets were correct. My prediction is right for England to beat Belgium and Spain also to beat Switzerland.
These are matches that fans are expected to be an explosive and entertaining matches with many goals scored by both sides having paraded quality players  however its was a disappointing results allowing bookies to have a field day at the expenses of bettors I believed lack of fans in the various stadia due to Covid-19 is also a contributing factor of Lacklusture and boring performances of most of these teams.
4091  Economy / Speculation / Re: history loves repeating itself. the only question is when! on: October 11, 2020, 07:11:52 PM

The real question is when will it break free?
The market seems ready. The whales have accumulated enough and weak hands are getting FOMO_y to start buying again.
I say thinks are looking good...

It could be anytime now, remember when we are asking the same question when Bitcoin is staying longer in the $9000 and $10000 level but it eventually pulls up, with three months to go anytime could happen I'm very positive that Bitcoin will eventually reach $12000 before the end of the month or next month.

Waiting for the bitcoin to move up and cross this 12000$ and if it can successfully do it and gets stable above it then we may see a good rise in the price. But the major thing is that will it move upwards form 12k levels or like last time will it drop back again as it did not get much support above that price range.

Price had left $11000 for good and I believed in the next few days to come we will experience some pullback or retracement i.e price back and forth movement to resistance turned support at $11k before heading to the much anticipated $12K zone it can be within the next few months or weeks, price had already broken that strong resistance at $11K while waiting for history to repeat itself already the price future outlook is on a brighter note with the bulls taken over the market I hope there won't be any price manipulation by the whales or any major hack.
4092  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID19 VACCINE AND ECONOMIC GROWTH? on: October 11, 2020, 01:17:23 PM
Experts have said vaccines were likely to reach the general public in the March April 2021 drugmakers have been more ambitious with their calculations, with some firms like Moderna Inc eyeing the emergency use authorisation route to launch their shots by year end.182 vaccine candidates in pre-clinical or clinical trials across the world.36 are in clinical trials and nine in final states of human trial.best part is Some Country Covid 19 Recovery Rate Growth Like India Recovery Rate approx 80% and deat ratio 1% this good news.

By March-April 2021, almost a dozen different vaccines will be available in the market. It is going to be tricky for the governments, as they need to chose one out of this large number of potential candidates. The cost is also not uniform. For example, the price of a single dose of vaccine from the Serum Institute of India is less than $3. On the other hand, the vaccine from Moderna reportedly has a price tag of $37 per dose.
The most developed nations will get the vaccine by March- April 2021 all things being equal whereas other developing nations might not get inoculated until 2014 after all vaccines trials there is going to be a mass production while a special designated jumbo jets will be needed to airlift it to different countries which will takes time to be accomplished globally https://www.bbc.com/news/business-54067499  it will takes some few years before the economic growth bounce back globally, but I am quite sure we will get out of the woods within the shortest period of time.
4093  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does having a lot of investing money make trading for a living much easier? on: October 11, 2020, 11:33:20 AM
Smiley Wink Cheesy

Everyone knows that with more more as your investing power comes more profit. It is only simple mathematics. 10% of $100 is $10 while 10% of $1000 is $100. Even if both made the same ten percent of their capital, the difference in the amount of profit is dependent on the size of their capital.
It's a long standing truth that money makes more money. Only one with much capital can make much in little amount of time

Trading with a huge capital for a living will have a lesser risk compared to trading with a small capital. $100 is too small and will put more pressure as you solely depend on it for a living i.e using profits to buy stuffs, goods and services whereas 10% of $1000 is quite reasonable when profitable as well as compounding it will amount to huge profit in a long run especially with a good money management technique and a sound trading strategy.
4094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: October 11, 2020, 09:41:31 AM
England vs Belgium and France vs Portugal two big matches to watch today I hope Ronaldo continues with his goals scoring form but this time playing against a formidable and in-form France while England parading the likes of Harry Kane, Sterlin and in-form Dominic Calvert-Lewin against a strong Belgian side with Kelvin De-bryne, Eden Hazard its going to be an interesting and entertaining matches which is quite difficult to place a bet on, I hope the better wins.
4095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: October 11, 2020, 07:47:00 AM
How to transact with bitcoin is a major obstacle that had kept people away from using it, to some people it somehow how cumbersome to open a wallet, deposit fiat to bitcoin and send to another person, once this basic knowledge is acquired everything becomes easy, however do people have the will to learn all these things so as to able use bitcoin except they have someone who can volunteer to teach and put them through else people will continue to avoid it,  even though some believed it is a ponzi scheme or it is a scam all these excuses notwithstanding a lot of people want to use bitcoin.
4096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 10, 2020, 03:22:04 PM
I agree with you, for the fact that Sadio Mane will be absent, his absent had greatly shown a hilarious disaster on the Liverpool, I don't know about Fermino present way of scoring but I'm pretty sure he may have a chance to hit the net, I expect Everton in winning the game with total goals of +2, actually, Everton had been doing pretty well in Goodison Park from the starting of the season.
I will also be taking my prediction to be EVE 3:1 LIV

Mane had covid, he isn’t injured, he will be back for them after the international break. Thiago & Henderson will be back too, I think Liverpool will respond to their humiliation against Aston Villa & beat Everton.
But currently its not easy for Liverpool because Everton is also doing more then expected they are really on fire in first month of new season and their home record against Liverpool is also very good just lost one game in last 5 meetings this is going to be very interesting derby and most chances Everton can take good advantage of this humilation.
First Test for Everton this season I want to see how good they react to Top6 teams not just banging average piece of woods
If Everton can scale through this big match against Liverpool then they are in for a big challenge in EPL this season soccer pundits posited that Everton top form will in the beginning of the season is splash in a pan. Liverpool will bounce back from last week disappointing match and play well for their fans
Its going to be an interesting and competitive match I hope both team live up to expectation.
4097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years and no country has approved Bitcoin ?? on: October 10, 2020, 07:08:46 AM
The use and adoption of Bitcoin does not necessary need the approval of any government because of its decentralized feature, government can only regulate it, any individual, organization, company or store might adopt the use of Bitcoin as an option of payment without government interference, in the nearest future many countries will the see the benefit of adopting bitcoin due to its transparency usefulness of its blockchain technology in solving many problems.
4098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you fear the president of your country, one day, making Crypto illegal ? on: October 09, 2020, 10:14:37 PM
I can't entertain any fear if the president of my country makes crypto illegal or ban it, there are other ways we can exploit in order to use crypto without engaging authorities except the internet is completely shut down.
Decentralized and anonymous features of cryptos even make it easier to anonymously use it without any government interference thus any action by the authorities in order to traced or tracked it will be difficult.
The central Bank in my country made a pronouncement that cryptos are illegal two years ago while advising citizens to stay out of it however this statement does not deter people from using cryptos.
4099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Say btc is Not ponzi but its look like ponzi on: October 09, 2020, 01:12:59 PM
How anyone who Say Can proof Bitcoin is not ponzi?

There is More proof and evidence that it is ponzi.

I Don't mind If its ponzi but i Don't want to exit too late but not too early so When is best time to exit?

I truly believe that bitcoin is not a Ponzi or a pyramiding scheme because no organization nor company controls bitcoin that pushes you to invest your money to it, and promises you to make high returns and no risk. Scam victims are the only ones who says bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme because they were push to invest their money in bitcoin to a stranger without genuinely understanding what bitcoin truly is.
The OP was not well informed about Bitcoin by now having read all the post here he should be convinced enough to know why bitcoin is not a ponzi scheme.
A ponzi scheme can never last long, it is a form of networking once there are no new investors the system automatically go bankrupt and collapse eg MMM
Bitcoin is decentralized and the price is controlled by demand and supply  bitcoin will continue to exist irrespective of whether there are new investors or not.
4100  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Rather learn to trade by yourself on: October 09, 2020, 06:14:24 AM
This is a high volatility market? People don't understand what it means, it means the risk is very high, it can break you more than it can make you, it's takes luck and wisdom, consistency and lesson and teachings learned about trading, coupled with discipline the individual uses to take profit.

Bitcoin isn't as highly volatile as other altcoins, but yeah it is some what volatile. There are people out there taking the advantage of this volatility and making huge profits. But one small mistake and you could lose everything you had, that is something I won't deny. If you act smart and not invest on those shit coins, chances are you will make loses, but you won't lose "everything".
-snip-
Best is to learn the exact process or strategy, and trade for yourself, than give your money to someone to trade for you in a very high volatile market
No, you should never give anyone your money to trade on behalf of you. They won't care if they make any loss since it is not their money.
Trade with your own money and never entrust your money to someone else because if you lose, you will be the one to suffer the losses and not them. Just keep on trading even there are losses sometimes because trading is just between making profits or losing your funds. Once you developed your own skills and strategies in trading, winning profits is not that hard to achieve.
There are avenues to practice trading before going live demos and stimulators are some common tools, practices and make profits consistently to avoid giving out money to the so-called traders who also struggle to make profit.
There is no holy grail in trading find a good strategy with a low risk and hig reward ratio work on it with a proper money management
Meanwhile trading with a higher timeframe atleast 4H to weekly timeframe takes care of some risk associated with price volatility especially when using a lower timeframe 1min, to 1 hour.
