4101  Other / Meta / Re: Newbie Copper member and jr member to be restricted in altcoin bounties section on: October 25, 2020, 12:08:10 PM
<snip>
Yes I get your point,

But I am only advising to exhaust scammers and fraud people in their monkey business. Aren't you happy if they will get difficulties in their scam activities?

Another thing is that buying hack account is more expensive than buying a copper membership. Copper membership is unlimited while hack accounts are not. This can make a change I guess and it will going to happen if the forum wanted to.

Instead of wasting our time reporting them and taking them one by one, the effort will be put to waste since it is easier to create another project and buy a copper membership to promote the project. There is really no point in doing such report unless you only want to do is to grow your account by earning merits from each report you made in a post.
You are talking about the scam or spam? Rank is irrespective to do both these things so why you hate newbies and jr.member ranks?

Forum doesn't moderate scams so it is clear that users are responsible for any action in bitcointalk.
4102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think we have more bounty hunters now because of the pandemic on: October 25, 2020, 07:23:32 AM
We are still in crisis and people are looking for ways to make money online and bounty hunting is a big attraction to those looking for ways to make money online, because it's easy to do, all you have to do is share on your social media or write an article if you are a good writer and you can earn tokens that you can trade in the market when it hit the market.

Do you think we have more bounty workers now that people are on lockdown or do not have a job yet because of the pandemic?
The number of people who are participating in the bounties are lot less now compared to 2018 and before.Pandemic increase the people's activity time on bitcointalk but most of the old member left the forum already and you can feel ot by looking at the number of replies on each section in the last few hours.

The last quarter of 2017 and 2018 is the fix season where many people are participating in bounties. This year it can possibly increase because many want to earn extra cash but to be honest if they don't know this forum then there is no way they will accidentally find it unless someone teach them about crypto and directed them to forum to get more data or ideas they need.
New people can't really participate in bounties like in 2017 because of merit requirements were needed now to rank up so people may find this as a way to earn money but they can't start making money soon after they entered into the forum but there could be exceptions.
4103  Economy / Marketplace / Re: shipping cash to escrow? on: October 25, 2020, 05:09:05 AM
If I want to buy some physical items here on the marketplace, are there trusted members who can act as escrow? If so, can I mail them cash, like actual dollar bills, which they would hold on to until they have the physical items, then escrow forwards the physical items to me and ships the cash to the seller?
Accepting physical cash has lot of difficulties and disadvantages, never knew anyone in this forum doing escrow for cash deals. But you cam try with the escrow mentioned above but physical cash may never be accepted atleast you need to use bank wire transfer and also you have to accept all the fee.
4104  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What type of user are you in bitcointalk forum (your road to become legend) on: October 24, 2020, 06:38:16 PM
Myself started with 10 airdropped merits and now earned almost 200 ( just 8 remaining). I am also wishing to become Legendary one day not for bounty hunting just for the title because its Legendary and something you can feel proud once you reach it.My goal was to reach Senior member this year but only 2 months left to achieve it? Roll Eyes

Let's see how my merit earning (never hunting) journey will be in the next 2 months. I will return here at the end of 2020 to report how much I achieved.
4105  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What requirements are you looking for in a gambling site you might want to try? on: October 24, 2020, 03:17:37 PM

4106  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyone here who can help me with a stuck BTC transaction on: October 24, 2020, 12:39:44 PM
IMHO, the transaction won't have any chance to get confirmed in real soon like in the next couple of days because you mentioned you did made transaction with fee of 4sats/byte which is really low compared to the recommended fee, it maybe already confirmed even if you used 12sats or above when you broadcast the transaction. If you are not in a hurry then nothing to be worried.

Next time make sure you set the transaction fee which should be same as the recommended fee.

4108  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we back to the bull market? on: October 24, 2020, 04:56:16 AM
Maybe or maybe not, I am just kind of confused state at the moment because paypal news is helping the prices to increase but paypal only allows to hold cryptos in their wallet so people may not be using that platform for buying and holding purpose which can initiate the real bull trend on bitcoin.
4109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paxos will be holding your PayPal's Bitcoin on: October 23, 2020, 01:05:44 PM
Your Crypto Assets are not insured or guaranteed by the FDIC, Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC) or any other public or private insurer, including against cyber theft or theft by other means.

If you read the quoted page, you will notice that the word "risk" is all over the place. So IMO, I don't think their reputation would be harmed if something bad happens. It's the user's responsibility to read the TOS and understand the risks and limitations.
So people are responsible if there is any hacks. Embarrassed

Maybe not much people aware of this so its better to spread among this quote to the guys who are excited about Paypal allows crypto payments.
4110  Other / Meta / Re: September/October signature campaign season? on: October 23, 2020, 06:55:27 AM
off topic: i wonder why there are so many sig campaigns with fixed payments in fiat rather than btc. Back in the day (1 or 2 years ago?) seeing pay rates in fiat was considered a novelty on the forum, not it's the norm

Volatility? I remember watching a few campaigns that kept chopping and changing the BTC pay rate as the price rose and everyone whining like mad about it. Sometimes it followed it closely, other times it was an excuse to pay much less.

I'd do the same thing most likely. Starting off with a fiat equivalent saves a lot of ball ache and moaning. Maybe the majority have learnt their lesson.
Immediately changing ( decreasing) the pay rate when they see constant increase in the bitcoin price is just normal practice of signature campaigns in the past few years, only few campaigns managed to pay what they are paying in their beginning whether it is fixed in BTC or fiat. Normally people don't care if the pay rate gets decreased but its not really looks like a fair practice by the management.
4111  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Promote constructive criticism when doing posts or replies, on: October 23, 2020, 05:42:04 AM
Criticizing the trolls means we are feeding them so they will come more and kore so better avoid replying such post will make them to fade away.We are talking about the potential newbies who needs some kind of appreciation for their post in the right way to make one of the best poster of Bitcointalk.
We will definitely not feed the trolls,

And we will going to support the newcomers as what you had mention to become better poster here in forum. We always wanted new guys to be better not like in those times without merit and rank system for it was not organize and people only do what they think is right mostly making lots of generic or spam posts to create high activities in the forum for them to rank up not mindng the result it could take. The result was shit posting all over and was becoming a major problem. Now, it seems a little bit of change and we were heading towards a better forum for cryptocurrency discussions and that is all we wanted here in the stay of this forum.

Some people never wanted to rankup because they don't want to join in signature campaign that is why we can see some trolls all over the forum who is trying to topics which has no purpose other than encourage people to post spam and reluctant post that kind of posters also should be ignored for forum betterment.
4112  Other / Meta / Re: Voting for important forum changes on: October 22, 2020, 03:31:55 PM
Well, multiple accounts are not prohibited in this forum so polls will never work when such rule exist.

If someone wants to get something in their favour they can create hundreds of accounts to vote for their favour, yes ranking restrictions can solve this but not completely so democratic forum is not really possible.
4113  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: bank account freeze by cyber crime after trade in localbitcoins on: October 22, 2020, 12:33:45 PM
I read that Cryptocurrency trading is ban in India maybe they are having a crackdown or some sort so you should present your arguments with the help of a lawyer.
There is no trading ban in India and all the exchanges are running smoothy despite the occasional fake news coming out about a complete ban. Here is this situation what he has to do is to if the bank authorities are delaying in sorting out his issue with the account he can approach the ombudsman and they will investigate the issue and sort them.
After reading others comments it looks like there will be no solution to this case for years because that much officials are not worried about their customers. Its unfortunate that we are losing our money to these banksters for no reason and this also the reason for the cryptocurrency evolvement.
4114  Economy / Economics / Re: rich people super rich are taking loans now why? what it means ? on: October 22, 2020, 10:57:10 AM
As a result of pandemic banks were forced to give loans for very less interest rates so rich people are using this opportunity and take loans to invest on something, they know how to make money so its just a free gift for them.

In my own analysis, I think taking loans is good to used for business right" perhaps, sometimes there is really someone who does not care about which is there is nothing important than money even if when money is overflowing.  Basically it is probably that assuming a large amount of loans is just a common for the rich people in the world of crypto even it is a risky as well as it is for good investment during this time  ,totally, it is also suitable to anyone who join with collateral.

For business purposes it is good time to take loans but what kind of business really matters now because priority of consumers changed due to the economic and financial imbalance in their life so choose something which people needs more than anything for now.
4115  Economy / Economics / Re: Why has crypto failed to break through still? on: October 22, 2020, 07:34:40 AM
Why are governments still in control of the money printing process? how has cryptocurrency failed to make a dent?
Are we as a community too scared to challenge the status quo?
The circulation amount of fiat money is too huge and crypto total market cap is no where near the fist money.

There is no central body to promote the existence so people has to realize the importance of cryptos by themselves and adopting to the new technology,it may take time but the changes are happening for sure.
4116  Other / Meta / Re: September/October signature campaign season? on: October 22, 2020, 12:26:42 AM
Whenever the price of bitcoin starts to increase, the number of campaigns are also getting increased as far as my observation since I am existence here.In 2018 there were no campaigns and in 2019 there are very less campaigns in the time period you mentioned.

More signature campaigns are sign of adoption in my opinion and now the adoption of crypto casinos are happening. Grin
4117  Economy / Reputation / Re: Goodbye, world! on: October 21, 2020, 12:00:15 PM
Its really sad to see forum veterans leaving from here permanently, lot of members left their accounts with no information but atleast you still having a thought of saving forum at your final words by letting everyone knows about your decision and yeah you are banned now as per your wish by our admin. Missing the cute girl that is the fave I always remember when I read Lauda anywhere.
4118  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can i earn merit very quickly? on: October 21, 2020, 08:28:17 AM
Just convince theymos to pour some merits on you, he can do it with just single click and this is the fastest way but nit the easiest.

When we are going to ask sensible questions here? Angry
4119  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Accuracy and attention when transferring cryptocurrencies. on: October 21, 2020, 07:30:28 AM
One million in one transaction then how much attention should give to all the details of the receiver you entered into the cryptocurrency wallet, probably checking thrice or more than that will.save sich mistakes. Some people are paying too much for simple lessons. Sad
4120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos with free withdrawal fees on: October 20, 2020, 05:55:20 PM
I have not tried Bustadice. Since you tried it there, perhaps there is really an instant withdrawal. But I am a little confused when you say that you use instant withdrawal and its almost instant. Lol. Smiley Anyway, I get what you mean.

But that's fast. Withdrawal in seconds is very convenient for players. I think Bustadice has the option for users to withdraw with just a single confirmation.

Almost instant just 2 or 3 seconds will take for your transaction to get proceed. And this is just normal with each and every kind of wallet I know as well. Smiley

Confirmation depends on the place you are withdrawing, like in exchanges just one or 3 confirmations is enough for your balance to get reflected, on wallets it may need up to 6 confirmations.
