New Version Available: 7.74/1.1.5.5: Upgrade from the RPC :  Yes

*  CPU Mining is enabled in this version with up to 150grc payout per cpu-only miner per day.

Best Regards,
Grid

Does it make sense to CPU mine with a weak CPU (Core i3) ? How many GRC can I expect to earn at this stage, approximately?

It is a little bit upset that you release a CPU mining version without explaining how it works.

how can i start cpu mining?

does it means that i mine for 12 hours, i get 75grc?

and, can i mine with my cpu and at the same time with my GPU?

You can join the cpu mining pool, that would porbably work for you.

Hi,

Just a quick noob question regarding mining & boinc,

I already have boinc running on my server for projects that only utilize CPU, as this server has a basic graphics card.
BOINC gets 4 out of the 12 cores, generating an average of 8,000 points/day ( world community grid )

Does it make sense to start mining gridcoin on this machine ?

Vidocq.

yeah, try cpu mining pool, and let us know how many coins get for day!

I think USDE should be added to coinex.pw and/or coinedup and skip these unproven exchanges. USDe deserves more. People will just take advantage of the low volume and manipulate it to 50 satoshi when it's worth 500+ satoshi

I think exchanges are waiting till everything is complete. they see a lot of changes happening and maybe they want to wait till everything is set in place.

Are there now new informations that some exchange will accept gridcoins?
I'm wondering why we still have to use the excellsheet after gridcoin exists several month.
Is it still that we won't to make all perfect before launching it on an exchange or is there still no interest from the exchanges?
stefan

That makes me wonder about what they are waiting.
Is there any difference when adding new coins alà coiney or doge or something like that?
I'm not so deep into finallysing/completing/creating a coin, but I assume that this couldn't be the reason.
I remember rob was writting to many exchanges several weeks/month ago and there was not even a response.
So for me it's simply incomprehensible.

i agree!
we need to do something for resolve this situation!

I see, for example, that sometimes there is poll thread for vote some new coins to add at some exchanges. Me need to put gridcoin in that list and vote it!

I'm sorry, i've one more question about pool mining.

if i mine in pool, i'll start to get payed when i'll find my first block, and, i'll keep get payed even if i quit mining for a few day after that.
But what happen if i find a block mining in pool and then keep mining in pool without find any other block, for, don't know, 15 o more days..? Will i keep have payouts?

No-if you don't find a block within the lookback period you then fall out of the pool.

Thanks,
Grid

thanks for the info. I'll just have to hope that diff never gonna be too high!

Yea. Solved a block but didnt get any payout.. also can't see any confirmation that I get it rewarded

after you solved the block, how much was the value A on you cgminer?

i got nothing. no confirmation nothing in the gridoin wallet.   just 1 accepted in the mining module left on the top.

uhm...maybe it's just bad luck Sad
sometimes you find a block but "you lost it", for example because your wallet in that time wasn't syncronized...

That happened to me too, once only luckily.

Let us know if it'll happen again!
