4101  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a massive BTC dump? on: November 17, 2020, 04:33:47 PM
Yes, BTC could dump. If you ask, will BTC pump? Then the answer will be the same, yes. Because no one in the world can give an accurate forecast about Bitcoin. When BTC hit approx $20K in 2017, then again we have seen a dump. Bitcoin is a high volatile cryptocurrency, which means anytime would happen pump and dump. At the current rally, there will be a dump IMO. Because, if Bitcoin is run suddenly then we have to wait for a dump. But it wouldn't huge dump IMO, probably small or medium.
4102  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] InstaEx - Instant Crypto Exchange which respects your privacy 🔒 on: November 17, 2020, 04:20:08 PM
How your users will contact you if they face some problems? Because I have seen your 'contact' section is inactive. Also tried your live chat and no one replying there except the bot. Isn't your exchange fully developed? Most likely it will take a few times to gain trust from the forum.

Anyway, I would like to suggest to make a professional announcement thread by buying a copper membership. Because I believe, "the first impression is the last impression"
4103  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I trust cryptocurrencies? on: November 17, 2020, 03:23:10 PM
Honestly, it seems to me that are some big players that control this industry. I think they mine whenever they want to manipulate the prices. Can you please explain how can I trust crypto more? Thank you
Total crypto markets depending on faith IMO. We are trusting Bitcoin, and that's why it's still live. It's true there a few big whales who have been trying to manipulate prices sometimes. But not always happening. Where is manipulation not happening? Even big wholesalers manipulate onion price sometimes, does it means you shouldn't trust in an onion? I don't think so. So just because of a few manipulations, we should distrust cryptocurrency. If a cryptocurrency is truly decentralized, then there is no technical reason to distrust it.

4105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will central banks create their own digital currencies? on: November 16, 2020, 05:10:09 PM
What are your thoughts about the central banks’ digital currencies?
Simple, if a central bank creates their own cryptocurrency means they will create a centralized cryptocurrency. Most likely they will not dare to create decentralized cryptocurrency due to volatility. If they create a centralized stable cryptocurrency then it will consider like a fiat currency. But yes, it would be easier to deal with a real decentralized cryptocurrency like peer to peer exchange.
4106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Will you Invest in Ethereum ICO if it is just Starting ? on: November 16, 2020, 05:01:33 PM
Once a time ICOs were most popular, and a few good projects succeed in their goals. But lately, ICOs are just coming with worst and repeat ideas and scamming peoples. Doesn't matter they writing a good whitepaper, if their intention isn't good then we can't do anything. ICO/IPO time is over almost, seems there is a trend of DeFi and I believe it will end up very soon. So it's very risky to invest in crypto lately and better to avoid investing in that. At least I am not gonna invest there.
4107  Other / Meta / Re: Auto Delete on: November 16, 2020, 04:30:15 PM
If you request many automatic systems for the forum, it will just increase the load. As others said, there is an easy way to solve it, that isn't many serious issues. There are more serious issues waiting for implementation.

By the way, you may use the "report to moderator" button to delete your own post. Write an appropriate reason in the comments section. I have an experience of that and post was deleted by moderators. I can't recall which campaign,  but I wasn't really made on a closed campaign thread.
4108  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I make 10 000$ month? on: November 16, 2020, 04:07:24 PM
I will not say it's impossible, but you should have enough qualifications for earning such as the amount of money from the forum. For example, even you may earn more than $10K monthly if you have good Development skills like developing a casino, exchange, and so on. But if you are wondering you would earn from the forum by doing bounty and Signature campaign, then I will say it's impossible to earn such a big amount. My best suggestion is, improve your skill.

4110  Other / Beginners & Help / Importance of reading the profile. on: November 16, 2020, 05:55:34 AM
Yesterday someone claimed to me he scammed by an impersonator. Scammer using my similar username and scamming peoples. But when you will read my profile then you will see a few notes. There I have mentioned this impersonator and have added my BTC address for escrow funds. So, if the victim noticed the note then he could simply skip that scam attempt.

Hope you realize why should you read the profile before making any kind of deal with any other users. We have been writing in our profile means there is some reason to write it. If we do not bother to read it and get scam then we are responsible for that. We can't blame the account owners if scammed by impersonators or by scammers.
4111  Economy / Reputation / Re: Coolcryptovator's telegram impersonator. on: November 16, 2020, 05:38:31 AM
My advice is to abandon this tg username and create a new one. Not sure if telegram allow exporting/importing the contact list, tough.
Changing the telegram name wouldn't help here. Because then scammer directly will take my current username. Scammer providing my profile link to the victims. But sadly, they haven't bothered to read the profile.

Anyway, I am not gonna fall into their trap if they falsely claim a scam. Because I clearly wrote the note and added a BTC address. They were supposed to read my profile.
4112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For beginners which trading option is best and which platform and why? on: November 15, 2020, 05:58:58 PM
What's new? Trading discussion board filled by such as posts. You should add something new if you like to help others or beginner. There will be always a risk of trading either its leverage or spot trade. You are just saying it simply, but nothing simple there. When you are gaining someone losing on the other hands. Exchange not giving your profits, money is circulating among traders. So always keep in mind, earn from trading never easy.
4113  Other / Meta / Re: If OP is proven as plagiarism, people still make replies. on: November 15, 2020, 05:32:10 PM
Please report plagiarism on this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.0 , so moderators would ban the OP.

As others said, very rarely users trading all replies on the thread. Rather than just reply based on the main post and that's why some users hadn't noticed it or just skip for Signature spam. To be honest, very few people care about the forum. I have not been replying if I notice the thread or post has plagiarized. Rather than just report and moderators take action against plagiariser.
4114  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I was fucked, do not repeat same mistakes as me on: November 15, 2020, 05:18:59 PM
Thanks for sharing your problems with the community, everyone could take a lesson from here. That's the reason why I have been discouraging store your credential to the online or offline machine. I have been writing all my credentials on my daily note (paper). Once I forgot any of them including google 2FA, then I look on my note for it. A few months back I changed my phone and everything recovered from my notes. Hope you learn from your mistakes and save all your credential on hard paper.
4115  Economy / Reputation / Re: Coolcryptovator's telegram impersonator. on: November 15, 2020, 04:59:11 PM
My bad, someone claimed on the telegram that he sent $250 to the impersonator. I wrote a note on my profile about that impersonator, and there is two BTC address for escrow funds. But don't know how that person falls into a trap and lost $250 worth of ETH. Even I change my telegram username still impersonator could scam peoples since the forum username exists the same. I don't want to request the admin to change my username of the forum. What else can I do to prevent that scammer? Reporting to the telegram team isn't working.

4117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / HODL ₿itcoin for Life, not for Lifetime. on: November 14, 2020, 06:07:18 PM
Most crypto users are familiar with the HODL (Hold On for Dear Life). It's a good thing if you can HODL. I want to say HODL for dear life, not for lifetime. There is a reason why am I saying that. During the last bull run in 2017, I had more than enough funds to start a real life business by selling my Bitcoin. And to be honest, starting a real life business was too important for me since I was doing a job abroad. But sadly, I was greedy and had been waiting for more bumps. Eventually, I regret and now I can't do anything with that fund since bought a dew worthless shitcoin.

So if I HODL for dear life, then I should sell it for my need. Even I would won more BTC now since there were many opportunities when bitcoin dropped up to $3K.

What's your opinion? Should we HODL for Life or for Lifetime?
4118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My view on Bitcoin on: November 14, 2020, 05:52:16 PM
Many people consider Bitcoin as an investment or a store of wealth. I'm wondering why they forget the purpose of launching Bitcoin.
It's because peoples showing interest where they have profits. We are always getting advantage of bitcoin volatility and that's why we are too interested invest in Bitcoin. You are wondering peoples forgot about the goal of bitcoin, but I am wondering peoples even do not bother to use proper bitcoin wallets. We can't ignore the truth, we always like to see bitcoin on the uptrend. Very rarely we describe our honest view of bitcoin.

In my view, bitcoin is a currency where I would be my own bank. I can control my fund and spend it accordingly. Hold bitcoin for the future but not for a lifetime.
4119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The last time we saw 16K on Bitcoin price on: November 14, 2020, 05:38:58 PM
That's why we shouldn't ever compare Bitcoin with any other shitcoin. Even Bitcoin drops for quite some time, but it has been recovering soo faster. I have lost many form shitcoin, even still holding some of them. But not recovering from years. I don't when we will see a bull run for shitcoins, but we are on a bull in bitcoin. Shitcoin is just a pain, nothing else.
4120  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase account temporary Disabled on: November 14, 2020, 05:14:21 PM
That's the disadvantage of using a custodial web wallet. A year back they disabled my account, but they allowed me to withdraw the funds to some other wallet except coinbase. It seems they disabled your account without returning your funds. Yea, most likely it would be gambling reason or they detect something suspicious according to terms. So only coinbase support would help you in that case. I haven't seen any recent account ban case of coinbase.

I will suggest, please do not use a web or custodial wallet to store your funds. So you may avoid such problems in the future.
