What was the malware like?
How can we be sure that our computer is safe?

I use the new miner with closed source, is there a way to be sure that there is not a keylogger in it or in any other programm on my computer?

I won't touch anything like that. It could do about everything on your system.
No matter if Linux or Windows.
Worse if you run your wallets on the same machine.

Another milestone.
What a pace of developments...

DRK is about to break out nobody knows how high it can go, Americans waking up  Cheesy

Let the panic buying begin!
Almost better than panic sex.
4104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][0.8.6] Hirocoin - X11 - NGW - Secured Blockchain - Time Warp Limitation on: May 23, 2014, 10:51:01 AM
Not that I'm a big fan of merged mining.
But have you ever considered making HIRO merge mineable with DRK?
Could give a real boost, or not?
4105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | ASIC Resistant on: May 23, 2014, 09:39:47 AM
drk.altmine.net p2pool is dead? They were running at more than 0.5 Gh.

Mintpal just added DRK/LTC.
The big LTC dumping starts NOW.
4107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM Darkcoin instamine 2 millions DRKs (50% of darkcoin in circulation) on: May 23, 2014, 07:53:20 AM
Are you guys slow or just....

The dev doesn't have anywhere near 2milliion coins..10k at best

People who mined when the blocks were rigged to 500 instead of 50 on day one all have 100,000+, I've seen them talk about.  One guy claimed to have given away 50,000 and had tons more left.

As for how much the dev has, I would guess at least that many if not more.

This is the same for 99% of the coins (btc included) people who were here at the start mined more. What's the problem ? Oh yes there are no problem !

You sure 99% of the coins including Bitcoin same as Dark ?

Bitcoin's main problem is the ongoing easymine.

The asic companies have been raping BTC for well over a year with their secret farms. This is why/how every generation of asic has little to no hope of ever achieving ROI.

The fatasses are leaving us with nothing but table scraps.

You nailed it!
This is what will kill Bitcoin eventually.
Its a failed concept, just because of that.

And now they want to pull the same stunt again on Litecoin.
WON'T HAPPEN.

DRK and XRP will replace BTC and LTC.
4108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current state of crypto monopoly and what it means for LITECOIN ? on: May 22, 2014, 01:54:34 PM
Good assessment.

Also a few little friends have X11 ASICs also.

Trade appropriately .

Quark is the only crypto not subject to total mining monopoly and price control.

There are a few others.

ASICs just don't make sense for X11, but FPGAs are a real option.
But most certainly nothing is ready yet in the given timeframe.
4109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING] Jed has decided to dump his billions of Ripples (XRP). Thoughts? on: May 22, 2014, 01:44:50 PM
Well, if someone just wanted to buy cheap and created the rumor to initiate a panic sell, it was definitely successful Cheesy

Haha, NWO, was it you?
The wallet address posted is no evidence, there might be other fat wallets.

I wait for Jed to come out and say its bullshit. Watch the ripple effect then.
4110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING] Jed has decided to dump his billions of Ripples (XRP). Thoughts? on: May 22, 2014, 01:04:39 PM
Why would he be so stupid to dump it on the market?
I bet he has offers flying in already for the whole lot.
4111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING] Jed has decided to dump his billions of Ripples (XRP). Thoughts? on: May 22, 2014, 12:57:30 PM
I bought some on the dip, almost hit it at the bottom.
Such a big stake will be moved off the books for sure.
4112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current state of crypto monopoly and what it means for LITECOIN ? on: May 22, 2014, 12:47:29 PM
Scrypt will fall into oblivion

4113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple cheap after whale dump, buy now! on: May 22, 2014, 11:27:53 AM
Looks like NWO is right and Jed wants to sell 9 BILLION XRP:

https://xrptalk.org/topic/2629-selling-my-xrp

That doesn't mean he'll dump it on an exchange.
There is probably a lineup of people to take the whole stake...
4114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | ASIC Resistant on: May 22, 2014, 11:24:31 AM
There is information that the developer will soon sell their coins will become a millionaire, all others would lose a lot of money

Darkcoin

    derived from Quark

type of algorithm: blake, bmw, groestl, keccak, jh, stein

    PoW and PoS

The following data and time stamps were collected from the Darkcoin blockchain 32).

    Block 1: 2014-01-19 Time: 3:54:41
    Block 1000 : 2014-01-19 Time: 4:33:39
    Block 2000: 2014-01-19 Time: 06:25:47
    Block 3000: 2014-01-19 Time: 09:10:16
    Block 3250: 2014-01-19 Time: 11:22:11

Looking at this data, we see that Darkcoin was mined with 500 DRK generated per block from the get go. From block 1 to at least block 3250, according to their blockchain, they were still producing 500 coins each block. The transition from 500 to 277 coins per block occurs between 3250 and 3500 but this author did not see the necessity of getting the exact moment of halving. Simple math shows that 3250 blocks multiplied by 500 coins a block is 1,625,000 Darkcoins created between the times of 3:54 and 11:22 on January 19th, 2014. As of today there are around 4,300,000 DRK in existence, making this a pretty hefty instamine. The Darkcoin website expects around 22,000,000 DRK to be created. That means in less than 8 hours, almost 5% of the Darkcoins that ever will be created spawned in that 1/3 of a day. It's safe to say Darkcoin has left it's investors in the dark on this one.

GTFO

stop spreading FUD ffs this was talked over sooo many times already, spend some time researching stuff instead just blindly repeating rubbish

Don't worry, its just CRYPTOHUNTER on a new account.
4115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple cheap after whale dump, buy now! on: May 22, 2014, 11:04:56 AM
I just bought some, incredible opportunity for a 10.000% jump.
Ripple will skyrocket.
4116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: May 21, 2014, 10:42:27 PM
Any whisperings about -a cryptonight?

I think its dead on arrival. It just got quite clear that ring signatures will bloat a blockchain to 8 times the size of Bitcoin's.
4117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner & ccMiner CUDA based mining applications [Windows/Linux/MacOSX] on: May 21, 2014, 09:54:11 PM
Does ccminer run with Tesla cards?
Could you estimate a hash rate for X11 on a K20?
4118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple going up again on: May 21, 2014, 01:28:54 PM
That is so sad.

Stop whining! You wanted adoption, now you'll get it.
Ripple takes the lead now. It will give some other innovative coins a lift.
All the shit coins will fall into oblivion. Next stop DOGE and LTC.
Bitcoin is in question and cornered.
4119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | ASIC Resistant on: May 18, 2014, 06:10:50 PM
OHMG, someone inserted a virus signature into the bitcoin blockchain by using the transaction comment field!! that can never be removed! Virus DOS-Stoned Grin

everyone can do that to every coin i think

only german source:
http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/Virenscanner-warnt-vor-Bitcoin-Blockchain-2192407.html

Thats a wicked idea. Its quite bad, actually.
Many blockchain files will be continuously deleted by AV software and attempted to be reloaded by the wallet.
Could put some remarkable stress on the networks.
4120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I would like to trade against Ripple instead of Bitcoin on: May 18, 2014, 02:02:30 PM
I'd like to see a major exchange opening trading books for Altcoins against Ripple.
It would be a milestone on the way out of the crooked image Bitcoin and most Altcoins have.

Such a market would have major advantages and I think its very important to decouple certain coins from BTC.

*facepalm*.
kraken.com

I mean an exchange smarty, not a gateway, like Mintpal, lets say DRK against XRP for the first one.
XRP has an amazing outlook, in contrast to BTC. It could have an unseen leverage for both.
