4101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My greatest crypto regret on: August 16, 2019, 03:36:59 PM
Lol. Kind of sounds like a made up story, no offense. This friend randomly giving you "6 BTC" in 2010 and now you can't find him anymore? You don't even have him added on social media (it was 2010 and facebook was booming! And he must have been some very good friend of yours to give you 6 BTC, so you guys should have been connected!). Anyways, it is not hard to find anyone you know online.
I don't regret anything here. Everything I did always had a reason.
4102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not ever complain, You must believe in every action you decide. on: August 15, 2019, 09:06:49 PM
why do people complain about the market situation? complain about the drop in altcoin prices? complain because bitcoin dominates the market today rather than altcoin?
yes, isn't every action you decide is the result of your research? if every decision you have made, you also have to believe in it.
yes ... but if you are not sure about that, it doesn't matter either, because it is your right, but remember to never regret it when you make other decisions that are more risky than the previous choice.

until now I still hold the altcoin bag and also bitcoin, I do not panic, do not complain, remain patient, and of course always confident of every action I have decided.
They complain and whine because they enjoy doing that. It has kinda become hard wired to their brain to bitch about everything. It's like people complaining about their jobs even though there are shittier job than what they are doing right now.
Believing whatever you are doing is always right is the worst thing to do. You can never be always right. If you think you are doing something wrong, then hold back and think again before proceeding.
4103  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency companies still can’t open bank accounts on: August 15, 2019, 09:01:10 PM
Ok, one thing I don't understand is why would they need a bank account? If they are using crypto currencies, why would they want to open a bank account? Isn't a wallet equivalent to a bank account? I thought bank accounts were for fiat currencies. I get it, people needs fiat money, but then again  i don't see any valid reason for a bank to deny a company to create an account as long as they follow all the rules and regulation.
Banks and crypto currencies don't go with each other. In fact, crypto currencies were made to get rid of bank accounts and bring financial freedom along with privacy.
4104  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie - when to take profit on: August 15, 2019, 08:24:10 PM
This point depends totally on you. Different people have different target. I would suggest you to set a goal. Once you have reached your goal, take your profit and start from the beginning. Or, you can reinvest your profit and add it to the capital and make more profit out of it. Just remember, the larger profit goal you set, the higher risk you will be holding. I would suggest you to keep your profit goal small and pocket your profit periodically.
4105  Economy / Economics / Re: Can a Stock Market Crash affect Bitcoin? on: August 15, 2019, 07:19:43 PM
I was thinking that investors would think the cryptocurrency market as an alternative to traditional investment products.
Having said that, my point was that those two markets have a reverse impact.

If the stock market goes down, then investors would start searching for alternative (more profitable) investments and turn to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
The last days stock market crash seems that lead the market cap of the crypto market down.

Does the Stock Market has impact over the Bitcoin price?
Yeah, they might have a reverse affect but they will already have to be in a reversed situation for that to happen. When the stock starts to crash, people will might jump to investing on bitcoin if they see that the price of bitcoin is rising or on the verge of rising. What if the stock market was crashing and the price of bitcoin also crashing at the same moment? Would they choose bitcoin despite the price going down? I don't think so. They would instead try something else.
4106  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I won BTC from a "Giveaway". Got a link to this forum....help please on: August 15, 2019, 07:10:18 PM
Hi,

A Discord bot, MEE6, told me that I won some BTC from a "giveaway" and that the rules and conditions are on this forum but when I clicked the url, it said that "The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you."

Was it a scam or is it real??
Sounds like a discord scam thing. I have heard that users are receiving messages that state that they have won free coins. They are then given a promo code to use it in a certain website. After claiming those coins, they tell you to deposit a certain amount of money in order to withdraw your free coins lol. Classic scam. Just avoid it (no ones going to give you free coins for no reason) and welcome to the forum!
4107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Betting : A big problem to crypto? on: August 14, 2019, 11:47:35 PM
I once came across an article where it was stated that over 60 percent of most crypto transaction were used for betting. I don't see anything wrong with that. But don't you think it portrays crypto in a bad way?
No it does not. You are just over thinking. Why would it portray crypto in a bad way? Why do people think gambling is a bad thing? It is not. It is just a form of entertainment (unless it becomes an addiction. Addiction to anything is always harmful). People gamble using fiat money. Does it portray fiat in a bad way? Are people concerned about it? Nope they are not. So let us also not be concerned about crypto being used in gambling.
4108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: buy bets from me if you dont win i give u a refund on your money simple as that! on: August 14, 2019, 11:44:15 PM

if your dont win i give u a complete refund of your money.

i sell bets is what i do IF U DONT WIN I REFUND U

telegrams username @theworldismind
Lol. This makes no sense. So you are saying that you will refund bets that user don't win? How about you just bet for them, take no money from the user and when you win, give them a portion of your winnings. Just don't take anything from your users and you will save yourself from refunding hassles  Roll Eyes. Anyways, what are the chances that you won't scam your users? You won't run away after you lose a bet?
Sorry guys, but I think David is here to scam you people. Hide your coins!
4109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have 2000$ USD. Where you invest? on: August 14, 2019, 11:37:28 PM
How will your portfolio looks like if you have 2000$ for invest.
You put all in Btc and alts or maybe you buy too some precious metals.
Im looking for any idea for a portfolio.

I was thinking about putting the funds like that:
50% BTC
10% ALTS
20% GOLD
20% SILVER

Do you have guys any other suggestions? I will be grateful Smiley

Don't take random peoples suggestion from the internet. You will always get biased response. They will suggest you to invest on coins they have invested on no matter how shit that coin is. If you think BTC, ALTS, GOLD and SILVER are good investment for you, then go ahead. It is a good thing that you are investing only 10% of altcoins since they are the riskiest one. If I were you I would keep some portion as fiat and use it in case of emergency. I wouldn't want to convert my investment into fiat during my time of need.
4110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is not a scam ? on: August 14, 2019, 11:31:06 PM
There are two kinds of articles found on internet,

The one is called a news
and
The other is called prediction

I know the news articles tell the market movement in an opposite manner where a trader can predict that should he enter into market or should he leave

But the 2nd, those are called the prediction articles are real which tell the market movement in the kind of trading analysis, but today I found some prediction articles on the web and decided not to invest in litecoin or I should leave the market as the market is in the bearish trend. But is not a scam ?

If the fucking anchor cannot write an article based on the trading chart then atleast he should write an article in the form of news.
News and prediction are two different things. They are not the same. News mean articles were they update us with current events and activities. News can be false, manipulative or true. Not sure what do you mean by "tell market movement in an opposite manner"?
Predictions on the other hand are some guessing that are done based on data collected. Again, predictions can be wild guesses. So you shouldn't always follow those predictions when investing. If predictions go wrong, this does not mean the article was a scam.
4111  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin faces more decreases on: August 14, 2019, 09:06:06 PM
This is how the market actually works. Who said the price always will have to rise? The ups and downs are normal in crypto market. The predictions can never be accurate. So just following those predictions blinding would be a stupid thing to do and you will end up regretting. We can't expect the price to keep on rising. Corrections and price dip are needed to form a healthy market. I like the price as it is now. If you compare it with this years data, you will actually see that the price went up significantly. $20,000 USD maybe impossible, but who knows?
4112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cyber Crimes and Crypto on: August 13, 2019, 10:00:18 PM
Cyber Criminals Netted $4.3B From Crypto-Related Crime in 2019

All these Criminal Acts is giving Crypto a bad name , i think there should be more measures and controls to be put in place in other to curb such occurence.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/cyber-criminals-netted-43b-from-crypto-related-crime-in-2019-study
Bad name? Come on man, crimes happen. There is nothing you can do to stop it. People commit frauds and crime everyday using fiat currency. Is it giving a "bad" name to those currency? People use prepaid cards and gift cards to hide their identity when selling illegal stuffs online. Are those prepaid cards getting a "bad" name? Just because the crime is related crypto currency the media is exaggerating.
4113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is investing in crypto a good idea? on: August 13, 2019, 09:49:55 PM
Hello! I'm a newbie trader, and I want to know if investing in crypto is a good idea. Now it became very easy, for example, you can buy crypto with a bot or your credit card using such services as changelly or shapeshift. However, does easy means good? Should I buy crypto now or it's too late?
This same question has been asked multiple times and the answers has always been the same. What do you mean by crypto currencies can be bought with a bot? You can trade using a bot, but you can't buy bitcoin with it. Why would "ease of purchase" be a bad thing?
It is never too late. If you are financially solvent and can risk a portion of it, I would say go ahead and start investing.
4114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banning bitcoins is against the law on: August 13, 2019, 09:12:43 PM
Let's discuss what is the definition of property
a thing or things belonging to someone; possessions collectively.

Taking this into account , We can consider all the assets that we own as our property.

So is the bitcoins .
We haven't earned it doing some shady business and at the same time it's our money that we have invested in it , a money that we have earned .

Now let's talk about the Right to property in India
The right to property was initially present in Indian constitution under part III : Fundamental right , Article 31 but it was abolished by 44 th Amendment Act ,1978. ... Now it is made a constitutional right under Article 300A which states that no person can be deprived of his / her property except by authority of law.

Here the only thing is see is *except by the authority of law*

But this authority of law is being manipulated time and again by various communities , shouldn't they make decisions in accordance to everyone in this country not just some big committee set up by old leaders who doesn't even know a thing about blockchain.

Now we have some Fundemental rights
Right to freedom: It includes freedom of speech and expression, assembly, association or union or cooperatives, movement, and residence. It also includes the right to practice any profession or occupation.

We have the right to practice any profession or occupation.

What we do in Signature campaign , the trading is no easy profession but it earns better than most of the daily jobs.

So aren't they breaching this right too ?
Those laws you are talking about are the laws of your country and only applicable to you or the people living over there.
Anyways, you are taking all the laws "literally". This is not how laws work. If it says you have the right to practice any profession, it does not mean that you can do or be anything you like. It's not like you can officially be a drug dealer and sell drugs. Again, they can ban the usage of bitcoin if they want. They can't ban bitcoin itself (since it is decentralized), but they can ban its usage and make it an offence if you use them.
4115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to invest safely in cryptocurrency? on: August 13, 2019, 08:37:00 PM
if I think personally a safe way to invest in cryptocurrency is :

1. the project runs according to the roadmap and whitepaper that has been made;
2. cryptocurrency that we invest in already has a product;
3. the team always updates about the progress that is happening in the project that we invest;
4. invest in project that are in the top 1-500 in coinmarketpcap (have a high volume);
5. the project we want to invest has been running for a long time (if I personally never invested in a new project), because investing in new project has a greater risk than we invest in old project.

1. They can run according to the road map  but what guarantees you that they will complete it? They can exit anytime.
2. Not sure what you mean by "product" of a crypto currency.
3. Updating user is a good thing. But what if all those updates are "we will" and "we are trying", that is all talk but no work?
4. Volumes can be faked.
5. We have seen project running for a long time eventually being abandoned.
In short, there is no "safe" way to invest on such projects. The best way is to go for coins that are well known in the market.
4116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to save your money buing crypto? on: August 10, 2019, 03:11:41 PM
Can you guys give me an advice how I can save money in crypto? Like what wallet I should choose to pay less comission or what exchanger to pick? I've heard changelly has low fees, what else I can use?
Yeah, you can choose a exchange which has a low commission fee. I can't recommend any since I am not a trader. But about the wallet. Wallets don't keep any commission. The fee you send is the miners fee. Most wallet allows you to set your own fee. But keep this in mind, if you send lower than recommended, it might take days to confirm your transaction.
4117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gov'ts and Institutions buying up Bitcoin on: August 10, 2019, 02:59:39 PM
Where did you find that the Government and its institutions are secretly buying bitcoins? Do you have any valid proof or any article that can back your statement? We might want to give it a read so we can judge if those articles are just some random click bait articles or just written to fool people and cause confusion or just to make conspiracy theories. Even if the Government buys bitcoin, its none of our business and they can do whatever they want with it.
4118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CS:GO VGO Skin Gambling on: August 10, 2019, 02:45:52 PM
Hello, I am new to this forum and I would like to contribute to the forum before asking for something

I would like to talk about VGO skin gambling, because it is quite interesting. VGO is a blockchain based collecting and trading technology and they are designed as a reaction to the trade restrictions of various games/trading platforms, such as steams 7 day trading period. To be clear, these items are not real and they do not exist in game. They are just used as an currency that has worth and to be able to bet with. Without VGO the csgo gambling community would definitely have collapsed, no doubt about it and Wax All Access has created it and became really rich because of it. CSGO gambling used to be a $5 billion industry, but now it has shrunk to about 2 billion dollars. So I also have a question: I like to gamble on CS:GO gambling sites and I play on a lot of them, I used a list https://csgopromocodes.com/ but I already used every promo code ont here. Do you maybe have some betting sites for me with your promo code?

Kind regards,

Pascalle
Didn't they make those CSGO gambling stuffs illegal on steam? I used to play csgo a lot before and used to bet on different sites (forgot the names. it has been like three years Sad ). I kinda remember receiving an email from one of the sites (like a year ago probably) saying that their bots has been disabled  by steam and banned (thus items being on hold while they negotiate with steam) due to being affiliated with gambling. Not sure if anything has changed or did they find out a new way of gambling?
Anyways, did you just advertise your site over here?  Roll Eyes Why don't you play without promo codes?
4119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin so valuable just because it was first? on: August 10, 2019, 02:11:25 PM
In a way or so, yeah. Bitcoin does have its own advantage for being the first crypto currency to be be used. Those advantage has a long lasting impact on the market. When you talk about crypto currency, the first thing that comes to most of the peoples mind is "bitcoin". This is because the word "bitcoin" has been out there from the very beginning. Thus people starts to trust/believe in bitcoin more than any other crypto currencies due to its reputation. This is eventually fade out as time passes by and a new currencies might end up dominating the market.
4120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARE THEY OUT OF METHODS? on: August 10, 2019, 01:16:29 PM
Scammers are back with the old style of bitcoin mining scam giving you outrageous return in a short while. They claim to be using the fastest mining tool which they claim is Ant miner S9.
They promise to give you as much as $980 for an investment of $70 just in 12 hours. That is practically impossible to be real.
Let us all beware as the scammers are trying both new and old methods to ensure they dupe you of your hard earned fund.
They are not out of methods. They just still using the old methods to lure people into their trap. Unfortunately, there are still people out there who falls for this kind of trap, especially the newbies or the ones that are greedy and willing to take the risks.
Honestly, I think they deserve to get scammed. How come they expect to get $930 for just a $70 investment? At least they will learn a lesson from getting scam.
