4121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to preditct coin price? on: March 23, 2018, 04:33:30 PM
For me i cannot predict the coin price in the market, if there is more investment to come i think the coin price will go up. Everyday the coin price will decrease or increase its up to you when you trade or invest.

The whole increase and decrease is called price movement. It is as a result of ask and bid. When you have much investors that want to buy, the price increases and when there are fewer buyers or on the contrary if much are selling (just like the usual word here known as dumping) . This is just the simple explanation of the increase and decrease in price.
4122  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin VS bank on: March 23, 2018, 10:38:34 AM
For more than a century, the banking system was used to fund state, endanger the stability of the economic activity, robbing private savings, eliminate one road, promote the financing dependence, even make violent reached an unprecedented scale, all because we do not have different techniques to implement monetary exchange. Now the monopoly is being broken. Bitcoin was born. The fear of the ruling class is only just beginning.

Do you think bitcoin will replace Banks in the future?

You have really made a summary of the financial tussle between banking system and cryptocurrency. It is the obvious that the monopoly of banks is being threatened by another power change just like banks took over from traditional mode of financial transactions.

In my opinion, OP could have scored a merit on his post. I wish I had a merit to give. Roll Eyes
4123  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the beginning of new crypto era? on: March 23, 2018, 07:39:20 AM
Hotel ico is going to be one of the big breaks for cryptocurrency. It is going to facilitate the payment of resort bills, accommodation and hotel services and travels.  Trippki is working on that soon.

4124  Economy / Speculation / Re: slowly, but surely bro!!! on: March 22, 2018, 08:10:04 PM
I’m unsure if we’ll see 11000 USD this month, there seems to be too many people who want to push the price down as soon as we look to be breaking out upwards.

I hope you’re right OP but I remaij sceptical.

Those people are definitely the owners of social media inclusive. They are not directly putting up fuds but they are doing that by coming down on ico and knowing very well that it will affect bitcoin.

The coin has really been up and heading to some breaks.
4125  Economy / Economics / Re: Why BTC is having a high price? on: March 22, 2018, 05:52:59 PM
It was below 1k last year beginning. But from the mid year prices started to explode! What's the reason behind these price rise?

It is about awareness. The cryptocurrency is growing in strength and more people are beginning to adopt it, thats why bitcoin is getting more attention. More investors are putting money and this is growing the market faster, so price too can't be stagnant.
4126  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency on: March 22, 2018, 04:52:53 PM
I coulnd't say which coins/tokens will survive or which one dies.  Probably there will be too much good/bad times on crypto market. But one thing will remain and survice. This is blockchain technology.

Yes so many coins would not survive if there is regulation, even the so called "well doing" coins that we are taking the lead in cmc might not too. Surprises usually come with changes and I won't be surprised if another technology other than blockchain emerges. Grin
4127  Other / Meta / Re: Merit is so unfair on: March 22, 2018, 12:39:26 PM
The thing about this merit system is that it is two side of the coin. It helps the forum to reduce spammers, account farmers, shit posters. On the other hand, it works on the contrary to limit the low ranks from speedily ranking up.

And personally, I also see that it is difficult to earn merit. What seems good post to many, others would even call it shit post. Is a biase method but I also like it because it is helping members to improve in their ideas.
4128  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Sinks As Google Moves To Ban All Crypto, ICO Ads In June on: March 22, 2018, 06:03:10 AM
google banning bitcoin hurts the cryptocurrency world since google is an advertising platform. investors would want to invest on other corporations

If it is to have an adverse effect on cryptocurrency, it won't have an extra ordinary effect on it. These are part of the fud that the digital currency has to pass through. We have read about so many of such cutting across most of the big names in advertising. So we don't expect it to be of much problem. It shall become the past.
4129  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the new bull markert on: March 21, 2018, 10:43:44 PM
ha yes, I agree. I wonder if that mt gox guy is going dump anymore bitcoin...

I do not see dumping to be what affects bitcoin mostly . Fud is one key factor that affects bitcoin and it causes people not to invest anymore, the people holding might not want to sell though but when there are no new request for buy then the market and volume keeps going down and this affects price.
4130  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: More traders.... Good or not? on: March 21, 2018, 07:30:06 PM
I see trading as profitable more than investing and hodling because it could give faster returns. Having more traders is nice for any market. It indicates that the market is growing and attracting more awareness . So it will help marketcap.
4131  Economy / Marketplace / Re: issues on the internet on: March 19, 2018, 10:14:03 PM
The internet is a big advantage to crypto and bitcoin general quite alright but I don't believe that as individual ,we can do much as to give a push to bitcoin because we spread fud ourselves.
4132  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Demand for a legal investment fund? on: March 19, 2018, 07:06:33 PM
The legality of it confirms that it is safe to invest in. I don't put money in shady business if I'm warned ahead. I could get on with some legal actions if it turns out bad, I claim for damages or specific performance.
4133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DO NOT invest credit money on: March 19, 2018, 04:50:52 PM
Investing with a borrowed money is risky more especially when you do that with mortgage. You can lose your property if things don't work as planned in the investment.

In this case, you do not have to worry about the temporary jumps in the rate, you can safely wait for the moment when the price will rise to the desired level.

Is now getting clearer why users get in happy mood is activated sometimes. I guess at such time, hopes of repayment comes alive  Grin.
4134  Economy / Economics / Re: Those who have invested in bitcoin when it was 18k-20k$ on: March 19, 2018, 02:09:19 PM
Is really unfortunate about OP's friend. Buying at such high price will be a very bad news and some people could have bought more than one. I feel it, just hodl and keep being patient. Something good could happen soon.
4135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017. on: March 19, 2018, 01:10:45 PM
I think 2018 is the time for real trader/investor that we can not simple buy and hodl coin and wait for pumping.
we should analyze the market like people do in forex.

But can we really analyse the market here talking about ico. Ico is initial coin offer and that means it is a new introduction to the crypto market. Thus, the market (crypto market) can't be analysed alongside the ico coin which will be absent at the moment of analysis because it was yet to come to the market. With this little analysis, we can see that analysing a new coin with crypto market won't really apply unlike fx that you made mention of. Every currency in Fx trade can be analyzed because they are always present and traded, the history can be looked at for analysis.
4136  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Matthew 7:12 - Whatever they do to you, you shall also do to them on: March 19, 2018, 10:39:18 AM
Bankers and governments are working according to a clearly established plan. They work as a team. By their actions, they destroy bitcoin and we can not oppose them.

This isn't necessarily true. Banks have different policies, and government representatives have different opinions. Most of them aren't very keen on the idea of letting Bitcoin be for sure, but I don't think there's any mass conspiracy to bring it down going on.

I don't dispute the idea that there are parties that are actively working behind the scenes to bring Bitcoin down, but if everyone was in on it, we wouldn't even be talking regulations, and currency vs asset, etc. -- we'd be facing outright bans everywhere.

I see the whole bank and government issues plus the ban fud as the challenges that comes with an innovation. Change is always resisted. Both in government policies (Obama's health policy was fault) they are never allowed a breathing space until the benefits starts sinking.

Currency is just a more sensitive issue.

Likewise bitcoin, naturally fighting for it wouldn't make much to convince the world rather, the world would see it benefit and starts a massive acceptance leading the governments to adoption.
4137  Other / Meta / Re: List of plagiarists [UPDATED: 18-March-2018] on: March 19, 2018, 10:14:13 AM
Also, my goal is not only for mods to delete the posts, but probably also a source of members for campaign managers to add to their blacklist.
Plagiarism is a bannable offense by the rules, so plagiarists will probably get banned and not only their posts deleted if their posts were plain copy/paste.

33. Posting plagiarized content is not allowed.[e]
....
33. This includes both copying parts or the entirety of other users' posts or threads and copying content from external sources (e.g. other websites) and passing it as your own.

Sure it's definitely listed as "not allowed", but are you sure it's a bannable offense and not just the thread being deleted? I'm really not sure.

If we can't ascertain rightly whether it is a bannable or deleting of the post. Plagiarism is generally considered as a criminal offense and one would be charged as that.

Even in project or thesis writing, referencing of a source, an author and quoting a lifted word or phrase is important. Thus, a stricter measure rather than mere deleting of a post should be appropriate.
4138  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bad Psychology of Traders on: March 18, 2018, 06:17:24 PM
Psychology in terms of trade should be tied to experience because every trade is different from the other. In this regard, we have to build our experience from each trade by understanding the ups, lows and ATH of the market. Again, we need to take away our emotions to trade. This way, we can be better as traders.
4139  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Signature Campaigns taxes on: March 18, 2018, 05:17:09 PM
Now first of all I live in spain and I'm wondering if someone has ever paid taxes with money acquired from signature campaigns here. I made a decent amount of money a year ago because campaigns were giving 0.03-0.04 per week. I wouldn't really know how to pay taxes if I need to, would this count like a job and how exactly would someone prove they got their bitcoins from signature campaign , seems quite difficult.

As usual, it depends on the country. A country that has enshrined the taxing of digital currency in their constitution would tax on it, maybe during conversation to fiat if they can't ascertain when it was received - off course, because it is decentralized.

But if you store this money in a bitcoin wallet, you have no need to worry.

There will be need to worry if the coins are also in the wallet except he does not intend to use it which I doubt.
4140  Other / Meta / Manual Merit and Automatic Activities on: March 18, 2018, 04:10:12 PM
I have seen many threads on merit. Some posted on a wrong section and members posting right there even when they know it is on a wrong section either to make up their post count.

Merit has become a distraction to members and I'm sure to the mods too (if they would admit) because they would have had so much merit issues to deal with, from merit collaborators and related issues. Members now put up threads on merit issues, how to be merited and that... rather than throwing up bitcoin and related discussions.

Prior to the merit system, the automatic activities system upgrade never gave the forum this kind of infiltration threads on activities across the sections . And, even when they are, they were mostly on the meta section.

I think the reason for seeing such merit threads is because, it is manually given. If it were automatically merited,  the infiltration of threads won't be here with us.
