Did you try to recover your google account with text message option?

It is possible only if you verified/added your mobile number to your google account, this looks simple way but it only work when you have the mobile number added.

I mentioned that in op already.

Really? Or I am missing to read that part again?

Please highlight or bold those part which you mentioned in OP about recovering through text message codes which will send to our mobile number.

Its just rare occasion and it may never happen in future once we are fully adopt to the digital currency system because by that time most of the places will be using solar panels to produce electricity which means less chance to face power failure throughout a larger area which also means there will be availability of internet for 24/7. And to be honest we can never find a perfect solution for natural calamities and by that time even if we have fiat money to spend we may not be able to find a product due to less availability.
4124  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase account temporary Disabled on: November 14, 2020, 06:10:54 PM
Btw did you receive a warning message from CB before they disabled your account the same as this user on reddit? I wonder if they just disabled your account without giving warning, though that user experienced 3 years ago, maybe they just change their attitude regarding those users who violate their TOS.

I'm afraid that there's no one here who can solve that issue besides CB, you should wait for their response regarding this issue, and hoping they will let you withdraw your remaining funds there.
I have never received any warning from them. Also I have not got any message while they temporary disable. I saw it while I tried to login into my account. It is matter of sorrow that from their automated email I came to know that they do not provide any contact support to my country. I think they provide contact support only few listed countries. I am thinking if I can't contact with them then how I will get solution!!
They will still respond to your support tickets but it may take few days or even weeks until that you have to wait because there is no other option. If your violated their Tos then they will permanently block you from using coinbase and they will let you to withdraw funds in there if there is anything so this was just due to some kind of security measures based on suspicion I guess.
4125  Economy / Economics / Re: Still confused why bitcoin is so bullish? on: November 14, 2020, 05:40:51 PM
Options for investing are getting narrower is one if the reason for bitcoin caught more attention amd not to mention we are not in the fourt year if the cycle as you are saying which means the bullish trend comes a year earlier. People lost their trust on banks and some in the bonds so Bitcoin is bullish at the moment. PayPal affecting the prices in positive way but I am  afraid that in long run it may cause for cryptos to be void in terms of need because paypal isn't decentralized.
4126  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any relation between market dump and Biden's win? on: November 14, 2020, 04:59:41 PM
For now, Biden has put the fight against the pandemic in the first place, and I am sure that there are many more important things he will dedicate himself to in the first year of his mandate.

That's so true. And that is the reason why we should not try to attach a dumping market with Biden's win. The last thing this new administration will be getting themselves busy with is the tighter regulation of Bitcoin and crypto.

Who knows in the future though? But for now there are more urgent matters they can't wait to put their hands on. There is the pandemic first and foremost, and there is the strained international relations, among others.
There is some connection between each and everything, new president elected for USA which is not only going to change the affect of USA but the whole world is somewhat connected with the USA for some reasons so there was an instant reaction when the news was announced but after that everything going well.

I'm not ruling out the possible connections. Just like you said, there's some connection between each and everything, just like the movements and positions of the stars, Biden's win, Bitcoin's price, a shitcoin's death, etc.

When Biden was announced the winner, there was a price correction and then a lot were saying that was the effect of Biden winning the presidential race. But just hours after that, the price was again rising. I could not understand how that was all connected to Biden's win.
If you read the entire discussion in this thread then you might realized that I mentioned about Biden's win is not affecting the price of crypto currencies in negative way and also I don't agree that it was mere coincidence of price correction when he won in Penny state so it was just the initial reaction from some investors and that's it.
4127  Economy / Exchanges / Re: what is the lowest fee platform for buying selling bitcoin at this time? on: November 14, 2020, 03:10:44 PM
If you are from US then coinbase is the best platform which was mentioned by huge number of users but I won't agree that as well because they sucks if we get some kind of problems.

So you can use p2p for buying and selling Bitcoin which is cheapest and faster but can't say it is highly secured because mose people uses it for money laundering so you need to be careful when trading on p2p.

Most of the time I used instant withdrawal feature from bustadice that is why I asked the question which I had in my mind for few days.Yes as you said normal withdrawal fee is cheaper and it may arrives in the next few hours but you can't say that it will happen all the time because in my experience it may take upto 24 hours at rare cases which I don't want to face to be honest.Waiting is painful. Grin
I can understand that very well, I feel the same way, that I can hardly wait for the arrival of the coins Cheesy The 24 hours delay has never happened to me before. I usually have them paid out around 9 am (UTC) and the coins are then in my wallet by noon at the latest.

Maybe the batch payment runs daily around noon? Would be worth an investigation-round Wink
Haven't noticed the time strap when my bath transactions gets included into the mempool because mostly I used instant as I mentioned but I guess its worth to investigate. Cheesy Next time I will have a closer look at what time the batch withdrawal takes place.

Gambling sites which offers inbuilt exchanges will face legal issues sooner or later for Money laundering activities so better stick with their current Tos of only withdraw in the same currency is good for their future.
Gambling site like Bitsler (I remember it is Bitlser) will refund your deposit if they detect suspicious things from your deposits (from money laundering or if you mixed your coins and use them to make deposits).

Try to operate a clean crypto gambling site is good and has a restriction to withdraw with same coin you deposit is good prevention. People asked for exchange on casinos to have cheaper fee when they withdraw money. Sometimes Bitcoin or Ethereum has expensive transaction fees and exchange them to other coins to save fees is good.
For a customer it looks a good service to have but from the gambling site's perspective it could end up their whole business even if one person starts to abuse the services for illicit purpose. I feel having different priority fee structure may work better for both sides when the mempool gets clogged so people can pay less if they don't want to take the burden and have to wait until it gets confirmed.
4130  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ethereum/Bitcoin Wallet Balance Calculator on: November 14, 2020, 12:44:34 PM
Does your wallet not have this functionality?
Electrum does have such feature?

I am using my native currency for fiat value so I get the fiat value of deposit money only while the transaction is in unconfirmed status and for the next few days but after that it shows only no data when switching to fiat value.

Is there anything wrong with my settings?

Not sure about the android app but the desktop wallet has it:

Tools > Preferences > Fiat > and then (and in addition to the show fiat values) check both "Show capital gains" and "Show history rates".

Some sources may not work, so try to change that if it ever shows "No data".
Never thought about analyzing profits from the wallet itself that is why I didn't check it, but even on the desktop version my native currency remains the same I guess, but I will check and update it back when get to my desktop.

Many casinos allow to withdraw with the same currency you use to deposit. I guess they have these rules to avoid money laundering or abuse to use casino as mixing tool for money flow from fraudulent activities.

Roobet has this rule in ToS too

Quote
Roobet offers mainly a chat and gambling Services, Roobet does not offer any currency exchange Services, you may only withdraw in the same currency as You deposited.
That's very obvious, what I believe! Their main purpose offering best possible gambling experience nor to provide exchange services. Some casinos are offering exchange service though, as competition is so high. But, Roobet should maintain on their TOS as they were promised to serve.

4134  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will PayPal be a new crypto-exchange? on: November 13, 2020, 02:19:42 PM
Since PayPal just announced that crypto trading and payment services went live in the US, do you think PayPal may turn into a big competitor to existing cryptoexchages? They can also launch a crypto-currency trading desk as well, why not.
Paypal is kind of exchange but not a complete crypto exchange because you can't withdraw your crypto funds from there (correct me if I am wrong). Which means you can only ise cryptos from your paypal account and also we know that keep crypto assets on online wallets are prone to hacks so one who knows about crypto may not prefer PayPal for their primary needs.
4135  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can A Chrome app be a malwware and steal your private keys? on: November 13, 2020, 08:47:53 AM
Chrome itself a spyware but officially from the Google to steal the data about every people legally, well most people aware of it. Installing an extension which contains malware can surely act as spyware or take control of your device to get the data and most of the extensions are not really safe,so better avoid them using.

Theymos mentioned few times that he is not interested in hiring anyone to become moderator because he is not having trust on forum members to have such positions. Probably he is too busy to select the right person to fit into that section or simply let the global mods to handle it.
4137  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustadice – Next Generation Dice on: November 12, 2020, 01:07:32 PM
bustadice estimates the fee with two different methods and then uses the more conservative (i.e. higher) estimate. The first estimate is based on the most recent blocks that were mined. This estimate is good at recognizing a volatile fee market. Even if the mempool is empty now, if the transaction fees in its rolling window were high it will tend to err on the high side. However, it's slow to react to fees suddenly spiking because it only takes into account blocks that have actually been mined. That's where the second estimate comes in: The second estimate looks at current mempool and gauges what the fee rate needs to be for a transaction to be in included in the next block (i.e. the top 1 MB of the mempool) with a high probability.

Estimating fees this way is not without downside. Like you noticed, it can be relatively slow to react to a backlog that's being cleared. But the upside is that our fees are very low whenever the size of the mempool is relatively constant and that withdrawals rarely become "stuck".
Thanks for clearing my doubt. Smiley Yes I agree that withdrawal from bustadice never stuck from my experiences it will be confirmed in the next 30 minutes and also the fees are relatively low in the [ast even when the mempool get clogged with higher number of transaction that is the main reason why I had this doubt.
Mempool looks empty right now https://mempool.space/ but still the withdrawal for instant withdrawal is higher compared to the required fee but normally bustadice offer the lowest withdrawal fee for the transaction even if it is an instant withdrawal request.

But to be honest, I would generally not use instant withdraws. Currently the fees for a delayed withdrawal (which usually arrives within a few hours anyways) are as follows:

Most of the time I used instant withdrawal feature from bustadice that is why I asked the question which I had in my mind for few days.Yes as you said normal withdrawal fee is cheaper and it may arrives in the next few hours but you can't say that it will happen all the time because in my experience it may take upto 24 hours at rare cases which I don't want to face to be honest.Waiting is painful. I created a thread immediately after I witnessed the price dump but it maybe just a coincidence since then the prices are not actually reacted to the results, probably we can find another effect at the time of President change.

4140  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips to overcome fear crypto investment and reason to invest for newbies on: November 10, 2020, 05:39:51 PM
If someone wants to become an investor the first thing they need to know that they are taking risks to make something out of it, so there are chances to lose the money as well means they have to invest the money which is affordable for you to lose.

Cryptocurrencies are highly volatile so no matter experienced veteran or newbies both are having the same kind of risk associated with it.
