4121  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Crypto Jobs 2020 on: November 22, 2020, 04:38:26 PM
There are people in many professions who are spending their days in crisis due to lack of adequate work this is a great way to make money online investing in bitcoin and working in crypto will help them a lot if everything is closed and many people lose their jobs due to the epidemic. There is a lot of work to be done in crypto you have to learn the job by doing market analysis and you can make a lot of profit by investing in bitcoin as the crypto market improves many project companies are working on new methods.
Market analysis is a completely different thing because you need money to invest and trade at the same time there is a risk of losing money because even the best traders can have loss so you are no exception.

There is a supreme demand of blockchain developers so that is a highly regarded career option if you can learn and invest time to learn it.

nice article. Due to the pandemic crisis many lost their jobs maybe here is the first step for them to recognize cryptocurrency.
That is also the reason why BTC price is doing so good because people are now recognizing crypto more and more with time and it was about time that the price would go up. There are people who are good analysts and they earn money by selling market signals although I am not sure if any of them are to be trusted.
4122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Small assets, trade or invest? Good decision? on: November 21, 2020, 09:22:53 PM
If anyone has small assets then it will better for him or her to trade with good knowledge. But remember one thing before going trade that you must have the proper knowledge about trading and need to give enough time to research. Then you will be able to make successful trade by which you can make able to increase your deposited funds very soon and then you can go for invest with a good amount of money. That's all about my thinking regarding this.
I would say one should actually decide based on the amount, if the amount is enough is enough for you to trade such that you can buy and sell coins and make profit then you must use the funds for trading. If the left over amount is so small that you cannot trade with it then better to find a project that looks promising and the coin value is cheap, invest all your small amount there and forget about it. By forgetting I mean don't check it's price daily maybe once a month is fine because you would want huge profits from that instead of selling it at a 10-20% profit.

It is a good question because often at times we trade and face losses and are left with small amount and unsure what to do with the money. Some would get frustrated and gamble it away but the smarter choice is to keep the head calm and either invest or if it is significant enough then start trading again with that.
4123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know what bankroll management is in sports betting? on: November 21, 2020, 05:54:43 PM
Did you know guys that professional gamblers are more emotional compare to casual gamblers? But since their experience teaches them to become responsible gamblers, they understand what they are dealing with once they decided to continue more even they are currently losing.
Wasn't really aware that professional gamblers are more emotional than regular gamblers. I guess it teaches us that being emotional is fine as long as the emotions do not force us into making bets and take decisions which in a healthy state of mind we would have not taken.

I remember I was watching a NFL game and my team was losing so I got upset or maybe emotional and made a few extra bets on over/under market in hope of recovering the loss that was about to happen with the team loss. It ended up winning but I realized that indeed we make more bets than usual when emotional about a loss, but at the end I only deposit what I have no problem losing so I am always safe and in control.
4124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: who actually moves the price of bitcoin? on: November 20, 2020, 06:56:51 PM
We do. Really it is not someone special that moves the price, when you buy bitcoin you move the price, when you sell bitcoin you move the price. Basically if you do it with small amount of money you do not move it that much yourself but enough of small movements make a big movement, or maybe one big buy/sell makes a bigger movement.
Sounds about right but I am curious that usually the buy and sell orders from normal traders should be normalized like the price would move almost to nothing after all the trades. Imagine 1k BTC being bought and sold throughout the day that means the price should not move. Then why do we see these drops periodically because I cannot think everyone suddenly dumps their Bitcoins like in March the price dropped and just kept dropping.

However it is certain that unless the whole market believes on a direction it will not get to a level and it would just stay there. Even if someone comes along with a billion dollars and buys bitcoin, it is not going to make a change unless market agrees to it, we could easily eat up that 1 billion dollars by all small fish selling theirs right away countering it. So, every single trade matters when it comes to moving the price.
I agree that as a trader everyone contributes but I always feel there are some other reasons behind the drop and lifting of the price because there is no way we average traders or even whales can cause such swings. Recently the lift might be because of the paypal news but that is the only reason I can think about.
4125  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you really need in your trading? on: November 20, 2020, 03:18:25 PM
The market situation can be low or high but your mindset up should be thought big. Because I believe that you have good knowledge and experience. Anyone really needs knowledge and patience. Without knowledge you can't make any single successful trade rather than you will lose your money. On the other hand, sometimes you have to wait more than you expect. So patience should behold regarding such situations.
But, patience should not mean waiting endlessly until the coin becomes dust and you can only look at it and laugh at yourself. As someone who has been into altcoin trading for years and collected many coins and invested into numerous projects I can confidently tell you that sometimes it is better to sell your assets at a lower price if the project has gone silent and there is no progress and the chances are bleak they will do something.

There was a time when I could have easily sold my assets and earned like 0.1 BTC without a doubt but I got greedy, waited too long and end up having to sell them at 1 satoshi and don't even know what those projects are doing now days. So patience is god with coins like BTC itself or maybe ETH but others you have to be careful if they are going down forever or just a routine drop as the dump and pump cycle happens with every other coin.
4126  Economy / Economics / Re: new central banks currenicies vs fiat currency? on: November 20, 2020, 12:04:57 PM
We don’t know who created Bitcoin, since that’s remained a secret from the start. But, we have seen so many theories about who the creator of Bitcoin is, and I have seen one that even linked it to the US government, saying that they are the ones behind it and that’s why they were pretty good at covering their tracks so that no one will find out who the creator was.

Anyway, it’s no longer a new thing that they are trying to make it centralized, though that’s only going to be possible through exchanges, but it still wouldn’t change cryptocurrencies from being decentralized, only the ones that are sent to exchanges will be traced.
4127  Economy / Economics / Re: usa dollar future on: November 20, 2020, 10:22:11 AM
Literally what you should invest into is something questionable because you may invest into something that would be awesome or you may invest into something that might be horrible as well, we really can't say whats going to happen with our investments but one thing is for sure, if you do not invest and just keep it in fiat form in some savings account or something you will end up losing the value of it and the money you have will not be capable of buying the same things it used to buy.
We shouldn’t even be investing our money and trusting only one asset, whether stocks, cryptocurrencies, or fiat can fall at anytime. So, we should always be prepared for anything by using the diversification method.

We should invest our money in different assets, you can invest in cryptocurrency and not just one, but different cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and some other good coins, and then invest in stocks like Gold, and invest in properties like land. I know some people who do this, and things like land is one of the most valuable assets where I live, and the worth keeps on increasing every time.
4128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will central banks create their own digital currencies? on: November 19, 2020, 06:43:50 AM
I think the creation of their own cryptocurrencies by central banks will be the driving force for the development of the crypto market.
There is certainly no better ad for the crypto market than the US and China releasing cryptocurrencies, then people will know more about cryptocurrencies and it will grow.
Yeah, but it is hard to imagine central banks issuing their own crypto because again the problem with crypto is that people can indulge in activities like money laundering and drugs and since the crypto are not traceable they cannot be caught, so it would be a case of government aiding illegal activities. In case they make it traceable and centralized then there is no use of making a crypto like that because it kills the basic purpose.

I am not sure what the basic logic is for them creating a crypto of their own just to bring digitalization? Then they can easily make their own payment processor like Paypal and I am actually quite sure they have one already. I am not saying crypto are useless but all I am saying is that not everywhere we can force crypto.
4129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins I have in my wallets on: November 19, 2020, 05:20:49 AM
I currently mining or have mined these altcoins, I would to know which coin the board thinks has a ggod chance of higher advancement in the future long or short term. The coin are : Bitbar, digibyte, zero, komodo, zel, vidulum, einsteinium, Lbry credit, bitcoin gold, verge, beenode, ycash, gleec, bitcoin sv, litecoin, zcsh, verus, bitcoinz, zclassic, and safecoin
I am a small player in the market with small investment so diversifying a lot is not an option for me so that is why the alts im holding are only eth, neo, waves and ada.
Not a bad collection but I guess waves delivered smaller than it actually promised. I have saved some TRX and some new coins along with the always improving ETH so I don't like to keep too many coins either but I always like to keep a mix of potential coins along with some solid ones.

I will actually purchase some of the coins mentioned in this thread because there are some cool suggestions and some I didn't even heard about so worth a check and always good to have more options because any coin might pop up anytime.I really like the choices shared by people here so thanks for the cool coin suggestions.
4130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CHAINLINK ,BAT future and price predictions??? on: November 18, 2020, 04:16:36 PM
I am in a similar boat right now. I wouldn't suggest people who do not own chainlink to go out and buy because it looks like it is at a high price right now. However I would also suggest people who do have chainlink to not sell theirs neither. It is just not really that well and I would say it is not really that bad neither.

It will probably be a half a decent coin, don't think it is going to suddenly crash and burn, but I do not think it will continue to grow bigger than other coins neither, it will probably stay as a top 10 coin for a while, then it will become a top 20 coin, and then top 50 coin and it will continue to be top 100 for years to come without dropping. This does sound like it may go down but it would probably more about not growing while others grow faster.
4131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Reinforced by the pandemic on: November 16, 2020, 07:23:13 PM
Right from time I have always had trust in Bitcoin as an investor. My trust for Bitcoin increased around 2017 when the pressure was too much on Bitcoin, though I have believed in it from the start, but the things that happened that year increased the level of trust I had.

There were lots of people saying trash about Bitcoin, things like Bitcoin is going to die and all that, like the pressure was too much and it was like that would be the end of bitcoin, but that same year was the year that the price of bitcoin reached its highest price ever. That made trust in bitcoin. Although my main motive behind getting into Bitcoin wasn’t for investment, even if the price goes up or down, I know for sure that wouldn’t be the end.
4132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: November 16, 2020, 06:01:25 PM
Covid really changed a lot of things in the sports world, and football coming back this quickly without any problems that could stop them in their tracks, it is a wonder. Considering numbers are looking scary right now, it is shocking to see football even being a thing. I would have assumed just because players are allowed to do anything they want and only consequences they get is not playing, it is a very risky move that has been paying very well.

Mo Salah has tested positive as well for example which wouldn't affect nations league but it does affect premier league a lot if you ask me. As long as we continue down this path, it is going to be like a year where many teams have many "injured" players and that is it, nothing too substantial about the period, compared to rest of the world where pandemic closed down so many things in life.
4133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 16, 2020, 05:15:13 PM
Honestly? I do not believe the donation and helping part of casinos because that is not what they are there for, the number one priority of any business in the world would be to make a profit and that is it, they do not care about anything else and they won't care about anything else, only thing they care about should be money and that is understandable when you own a business.

However one thing I am not sure about would be how casinos tricked people to thinking they are not fixed and gamblers could make money, I mean what is house edge if it is not fixing a game beforehand, they let you know this before you gamble, they tell you that in the long run they will win, and gamblers still end up gambling at casinos like crazy thinking they could be the lucky one.
4134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $100k in 2021 on: November 15, 2020, 08:01:36 PM
If you really believe that 100k is something we will reach either soon (in 2021) or eventually (could be anything between 1 year to 50 years) you should definitely invest into bitcoin. To me on average 20% yearly return is good enough, having invested into bitcoin time to time I can tell you that I made a lot more than 20% return on my investments (closer to 100%) and it doesn't change my life at all, I am still not rich and wealthy, I am just doing barely alright due to economy not being well.

However if you think 20% yearly return is good enough and you think 100k will happen in the next 5 or so years, I feel like bitcoin price currently is not something you should care. Since you think it will be 100k that means you should invest to it right away and sell when it is 100k.
4135  Economy / Speculation / Re: sold mine at 14100 dammitttt on: November 15, 2020, 07:27:44 PM
Obviously you can buy it back right now, or you could wait. As long as you sold it with a profit and you do not have any rush to get involved, you could always wait for bitcoin to retract to a better position to buy it back. I am not saying bitcoin will be lower anytime soon, but maybe a year from now it will be 10k again? Who knows?

We may see bitcoin reach as high as 20 even 30 thousand dollars but we could also see it go back down under 14k as well, we don't know when it could happen but bitcoin going down to lower levels has always happened after a big increase. Are we done with the increase? Is it going down today or maybe next summer? Timing is not known but what is known is the fact that one day bitcoin will fall big time again and he can rebuy at that moment.
4136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: November 15, 2020, 06:43:15 PM
Honestly the rain wasn't as bad as people imagined it would be, they got rid of wet tires right away and went into it right away, it was like 10-15 and everyone moved to intermediate right away. After that and the grip came back to racers, it was nothing really that shocking and it became like expected.

However I feel like this race should be permanent, I think it was definitely enjoyable to watch for stretches, there were spins and even though it looks like nothing unexpected happened I think it was still same result but different path to reach there, even seeing Hamilton working to get to first place was something fun to watch instead of him being first and just lapping everyone around for the whole race with boring race, let him work for his spot like this and it becomes better even though same result.
4137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Now the 20th Biggest Asset by Market Cap on: November 14, 2020, 06:05:55 PM
That’s really cool and I just hope that it keeps on maintaining that top position and keep on going up. I’m happy that the price has been going up lately and the market cap has also been increasing.

But, I have been noticing some technical analysis of some people saying that it will fall again, though I don’t want to believe that, because what I have had in mind from the beginning is that there is going to be a continuous growth till BTC reaches a new all time high price and market cap, something above the $20,000 mark before we start talking about whether it will go down or not.
4138  Other / Archival / Re: Pay for Your Passport with Bitcoin on: November 14, 2020, 05:26:13 PM
This is good and I’m happy about it. But why do you all keep saying things like ‘the pandemic is what has pushed people to start making use of Bitcoin’, like there are no other safe payment methods that are even more that they can use? Don’t forget that there are payment methods like Square Inc. that a lot of companies are making use of to accept payments with their business online.

When they accept Bitcoin they are not doing it because of the pandemic, it simply because they are starting to understand Bitcoin, what this advancement is all about. When you started making use of Bitcoin nothing forced you, you did it on your own, and that’s the same thing with them.
4139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of bounty hunters on: November 14, 2020, 04:34:57 PM
The reason why they can easily blame the bounty hunters is because we don't have a voice. There is no one who can communicate directly to them, whatever the blame they say to bounty hunters, there will be no response coming from hunters. Most of the time, blaming bounty hunters is the way of the project team to easily abandon the project, they say that the price have no future because bounty hunters already dump the price.
The biggest problem why this happens is because bounty hunters are increasing day by day and there the demand is decreasing because of that and the project knows that they can do anything they want but still get more and more bounty hunters.

I wish there was some quality control because were times when bounty hunters were respected and in fact they cheated a lot of projects by multi accounting but right now the opposite is happening as they are being treated cruelly and denied their payments. This might continue for a long time given the amount of people who are ready to work for such cheap prices and some even bear the risk of not getting paid.
4140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Half bread is better than none on: November 14, 2020, 04:01:21 PM
Excellent, the best way to invest in altcoins is taking out capital when in profit and leave the profit to run. This works for decent projects, at least a project you have some level of believe that the team is cool, developmental progress is ok and a strong community supporting it.
That is right but I always consider the profit you made should now be treated as bankroll or capital itself instead of looking at it as profit and taking unwanted risks. I agree though with decent and known projects you can do this but really profits are part of your capital the moment you earned them and must be treated the same way.

for projects with just hype and no serious development, it's good to take out capital plus profit no matter how little the profit is when necessary. Greed kills, this is a norm in crypto. I had the opportunity to make good profit from PAZZI but I got drowned due to greed. I learnt that lesson the hard way never to be greedy with any altcoin.
But if you know a project is all hype and has no development why would you invest in it first of all and then if somehow you invest and able to make profits then really just take whatever the profit is, agreed on that part but finding which project is all hype is difficult.
