4121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 07, 2021, 11:14:24 AM
There are only two match weeks left for the Leipzig-Bayern Munich game in Red Bull Arena. If Leipzig don't get away more from Bayern before that game, it will be a so exciting and important game for the championship. I remember the game in this season before which ended 3-3 and Leipzig were nearly winning. This game will also be open for anything.

I agree with you that both will qualify for the next stage with Bayern leading, but I think that on this particular day Leipzig will be inspired to defeat Bayern and that the long-awaited Bundesliga title could finally be theirs. The home support will surely help them with this.
4122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A book to read on when to sell (before a crash) on: March 07, 2021, 10:32:47 AM
It's like if a crypto goes 50x in one year there is a chance at some point that there will be a crash. I need to know APPROXIMATELY when I should sell.

If that's what you're feeling right now, then you should sell it right away.
I really don't understand people talking about the Bitcoin crash even though it has never happened before. People who talk about these bubbles and crashes don’t really understand how it works. They don’t understand how markets work.

I wonder if you even read the opening post?
Based on your babbling, I kind of doubt it.

Hello everyone!  Wink

Friends, please help me understand the strategy blocks on the site: kryll.io
<cut>

I wouldn't recommend using automated trading bots to anyone who cannot grasp the basic elements or fully master the tutorial.
Do not let this deter you from trading, it is just important to realize that you need to be extremely familiar with the trading fundamentals before diving into a topic such as this. I would caution that you don't do it unless you know how.
4125  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: POLL: Have You Ever Used the Lightning Network? on: March 07, 2021, 08:43:15 AM
I have used the Lightning Network at least a couple of times so far to transfer small amounts via Telegram and to gamble at LN casino.

And in general it is nice to pay at a lower bitcoin transaction fee as the current fee of a one and two payment is fairly high, if one consider Bitcoin as a cash transfer tool. Another great benefit of the Lightning Network is that it encourages the usage of bitcoin as a fast and cheap payment system, because it is very easy to move money from one place to another with the help of a simple app.
4126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You could lose your money on: March 07, 2021, 08:34:29 AM
Yeah. Beware of scams. Educate yourself. Learn what the risks are for your investment.
Many companies make grand claims about their products or services to draw in users. The likelihood of a company backing up those promises is slim. Before you are forced to part with your money, you want to make sure your funds are safe.

Hi guys

Hello and welcome to the forum!

The TLDR was: If you had a community of open minded people( who had both the minds and resources within reason) to help you bring your vision to fruition....what would you contribute or pitch to them?

There is much talk about wearable computing - a technology that allows users to access information such as directions, calendar appointments, email and weather through electronic information on a light form worn on the body. This is the tip of the iceberg. It is expected to transform how we experience computing in the future.
4128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin price is so volatile? What are the major factors that drive it? on: March 07, 2021, 07:30:06 AM
I wouldn't consider bitcoin as new market, it has been ten or twelve years already, when are we going to stop calling it a new market, maybe its year of operation is dwarfed by stock market but I don't think that bitcoin is a new market.
<cut>

What's different about bitcoin is that it's a completely new asset class. So, new to the market. But since the beginning of bitcoin, you could make a direct investment in the original bitcoin, the bitcoin digital currency. Of course, there is a lot of controversy. Some people say that these are two different types of bitcoin.
4129  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it bearish season yet? on: March 07, 2021, 07:12:06 AM
We just literally ran up from the sub $10,000 range and peaked at $57,000. And after having a few red days down to the $45,000 range people are already calling bearish? Like no offense, but do you actually think a bull market means we literally go up in price every single day for months without pullbacks? Because that's unrealistic as hell.

Honestly, I don't know what he actually thinks, but every time Bitcoin has a small pull back, a thread (or two) like this appears. This has already become a common practice on this forum.  Wink

4131  Economy / Speculation / Re: $1.9 trillion stimulus passes senate on: March 06, 2021, 11:27:55 PM
Short term good for Bitcoin as you'll see a lot of allotments of $1400 being deposited on crypto exchanges when the money starts going out. It'll also of course help out the economy which means more jobs coming back which means more people doing well nearer in the future which is of course good for all asset classes.

Medium term good for Bitcoin as it'll push more institutions into Bitcoin to protect against the perception of the dollar's value being inflated away.

Long term good for Bitcoin as more people will realise how great Bitcoin is and the number of corporations will see the value as well and buy in to keep up with the market. Also if global financial markets break down and central banks are unable to keep up, bitcoin is the only money to survive this.
4132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it bearish season yet? on: March 06, 2021, 11:09:57 PM
What's going on? Is it a massive correction or are the dreaded bears coming upon us?

Nah, we're still good. You just have to zoom out a bit.  Cheesy

4133  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Help!! Bitcoin Bounty on: March 06, 2021, 10:02:30 PM
that is a screenshot of them asking for a 2% fee
and theres another screenshot where they say there aren't any fees

This is a classic example of a fake balance on a fake exchange (website) scam. I hope you didn't send them that 2% withdrawal fee.
If you did, there is nothing more you can do about it. You should have asked before.

Their domain was registered on 31 December 2020 and there are already scam accusations if you search with google. I don't understand why some people still fall for such schemes.

4134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 5k to invest, should I buy Ripple or Litecoin? I do not want to hold on: March 06, 2021, 09:22:16 PM
Ripple could really go up if they settle with the SEC over their lawsuit. But it's a big IF and I wouldn't gamble like that with $ 5k.
There are other cryptos that would be much better long term investments in my opinion.

Of the two, I would opt for Litecoin.

4136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 06, 2021, 08:50:02 PM
Well, it's great to watch Bayern back on track and they made the Borussia Dortmund game a nice watch. Quite entertaining how the goals were coming with Roberto Lewandowski scoring a hat-trick and becoming king of the match.

Robert Lewandowski now has 31 goals in 23 games (as a striker) for Bayern in the Bundesliga. Could this be one of the best goal scorers of all-time?
4137  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use a VPN? on: March 06, 2021, 08:23:50 PM
There are a lot of free VPNs out there which makes it's much more easy to circumvent country restrictions. I am mostly using VPNs to protect my Internet access. There are a lot of scammers on the Internet so we need to be extra careful. Especially with online banking, investing and crypto trading.

Personally, I would never use a free VPN for something as important as banking or crypto trading. How can you even be sure that someone will not monitor your traffic on such a service? I'm sure I wouldn't call that extra careful... But that's just me.

4138  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie want to know more about Bitcoin and the Btclk Forum. on: March 06, 2021, 12:05:40 PM
An interesting suspicion by lovesmayfamilis.

So @HILT:xxx, are you really a newbie on this forum or you have some other motives with this topic?
It's hard to imagine someone as inexperienced as you asking about forum rules and, in the next post, already exposes other users alt accounts.
4139  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can Translation Services be trusted? on: March 06, 2021, 11:50:05 AM
I can't stop laughing reading the example from OP if that is what translation is all about ?i'm sure businesses will stay on their Local sections and only in this english threads lol.
At one point i have tried translation from Google , Our local to english and when i read the outcome ? yeah OP is correct  Grin Grin Grin

Well, I'm sure machine translation will get better in the future as artificial intelligence and neural networks evolve. Who knows, maybe one day we'll have universal StarTrek-style translators. Wink But, unfortunately, we are still far from it.
4140  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you handle stress? on: March 06, 2021, 11:26:49 AM
@bitterguy28 & @decodx

I always find that the best way to deal with stress (apart from the obvious) is to laugh at the situation and then move on.  Comedy is a great way to overcome hardship and to give yourself balance and focus.

I can relate to that. Stress is something that we as people are trying to deal with daily. On one hand we want to be healthy and feel good about ourselves. On the other hand we are trying to maintain that standard and uphold a long to-do list.

Laughter is the best medicine, that's what they say. I can agree it's also the best medicine for stress.
