4121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bearish market continues? on: May 09, 2022, 11:54:23 PM
Bitcoin is crashing now due to investors panic selling. The structure of confidence and trust we were living since the last bull run started has just collapsed. Known resistance and support levels don't exist anymore. First we need to see how deep the bottom is, and then it will be possible to start rebuilding everything from wreckage.

The possibilities on medium term aren't good for bitcoin. I think the market will only have grasp to recover and enter a solid positive season when the US ponzi scheme based on inflated interest rates starts melting, what inevitably will happen at some point, like it has already happened in every countries which adopted such economical measures.

Wow, those are some nice rewards but then again the number of spins are high as well. So the returns are quite decent I would say.
You are really lucky that you have accumulated more than 100k RP. Would you collect more RP or will you exchange them for Satoshis ?
I still have only 45k RP. Still 65k RP to collect.
Yes, after reading @dwyane36's reply containing the probability of winning better prizes (0.0999%), I realized the rewards received were decent.
I decided to exchange those 113K RPs into satoshis immediately, but it's good to accumulate maximum RPs as possible before exchanging, because you will be unable to do this for a long time, until another 100K RPs bunch are held. On the other hand, once you exchange RPs into satoshis, you start earning more daily interest over your balance. That is an advantage when turning RPs into satoshis as fast as possible. So it's up to each user to adopt the strategy they think it's more interesting.

I hope you can reach the 100K RP mark pretty soon! Good earnings!

I am exchanging my RP's for sats whenever I hit 100k! There's no point in keeping them I guess, we don't get anything from that, which is not the case with holding BTC or FUN, we have interest on BTC and WoF from FUN and higher interest on BTC!

Nice win Uneng! Recently I spinned +1200 spins and I got similar amounts of RP and lottery tickets as you, I got more satoshis +35k! Now I am close to 200 spins, I am getting 7 spins daily... and probably in some months that will rise to 10! This time I plan to save a lot more than the last time!
Thanks! Actually, I started holding my spins to use them at once later inspired on a personal experience you posted on this thread months ago, hehe.
+35K satoshis prize is indeed awesome! Congratulations!

Nice wins Uneng and iv4n. Could have been better (a golden ticket would have been nice) but also a lot worse so nice results! I had around 400 of them and spinned them all a couple of weeks ago (at 42 satoshi baserate).
Currently directly playing my WOF spins that I get because the baserate is pretty high and you never know how long it will stay that way. Everybody needs to find and determine their own best strategy for the WOF spins also.
Thank you, @babygun! Yeah, it always could be better, haha! A golden ticket would have been highly welcome. Maybe next time!
Good approach of yours. Keep enjoying the bearish bitcoin market to use your spins and take advantage of the high base rewards to maximize your earnings.
4123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's preventing bitcoin from worldwide adoption? on: May 09, 2022, 10:41:40 PM
Lack of online jobs and earnings opportunities in large scale is what mainly prevents bitcoin from being adopted. If there were more accessible virtual jobs for everyone paying in bitcoin, there would be more people dealing with it in a daily basis. Bitcoin shouldn't grow in adoption only as investment, but also as payment currency from employers to employees.
It is not the number of available online jobs that commands bitcoin adoption, I'd say it is exactly the opposite: the extent to which bitcoin is adopted determines how many jobs will create. The amount of work that needs to be done is not a limited number; it is continuously growing because work creates more work, and demand comes before supply. If I have certain skills, I can offer my services in exchange for whatever currency I choose. If people find my skills valuable, they will agree to pay me with bitcoin or some other cryptocurrency. They will accept my offer not only because I demand my payment in bitcoin, but because sometimes bitcoin is the only way to transfer money abroad frictionlessly. The main point is that our deal (between seller and buyer) wouldn't have taken place had there been no option to transfer money abroad without bank involvement. Thanks to bitcoin and the opportunities it provides, online work like this has become brought to life.
I understand your point. But as I see, there are too many people offering their services online for too few individuals hiring those services. In other words: there is too much supply for low demand. Freelancers offering their services and asking to be paid in bitcoin isn't enough to push adoption upside. Employers dropping big money in bitcoin market are needed in order to make the masses adopt crypto efficiently through working online. Payrates don't even need to be large. Any extra income would be enough for incentivizing more people to use bitcoin.

The challenge is how to make employers adopt bitcoin. I guess only people willing to help bitcoin worldwide usage above any other interest could make this happen for real. That is: idealistic employers and entrepreneurs.
4124  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for May on: May 09, 2022, 03:08:21 AM
You guys think the bulls will come back at least for this month and get the price to go above at least 40k again or are we in bear territory?
High probability of not seeing any bulls this month. This is indeed bears' territory. Bitcoin continues dropping sharply right now towards 32,000$ price range like we haven't seen since the beginning of the last bull run which took bitcoin to its ATH (middle of 2021). This is a dangerous zone to enter which can take investors' confidence away for now. Panic selling is also possible at this point.

I suggest everyone to not rely on their crypto investments from now on for anything they are going to need soon.

Bitcoin shouldn't grow in adoption only as investment, but also as payment currency from employers to employees.

Bitcoin usage would be skyrocketing right now if there were abundance of extra income offers on the internet where people could earn bitcoin.
4126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain Trust? on: May 08, 2022, 11:38:25 PM
Do you think it's a big advantage for the new casino that they have a bounty manager to be part of the team, we have a good lineup of reputable managers here.
A bounty/campaign manager can be someone from the forum or even someone from the casino team itself (through a brand new forum account). I make no distinction on this matter, since the casino is legit. Of course a reputable bounty manager from the forum helps the casino to gain notoriety and popularity faster, but it's not a must anyway.
The most important thing is to give freedom and independence for casinos to manage their marketing campaigns in the way they think it is better and more effective for their business. I like to see different methodologies of campaigns management. Not everything should be standardized.
4127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brasileirão 2022 - Brazilian Championship Serie A on: May 08, 2022, 10:23:05 PM
Corinthians is going to take the first place of the championship for now, if they keep the score against Bragantino on the game happening in real time. There are good chances São Paulo takes the second place, if they manage to win against Fortaleza on their game also happening right now.

On the other hand, Flamengo and Palmeiras aren't meeting the expectations of the public and guessers. These clubs were expected to be found among top 5 teams at least, and they aren't even among the top 10.
4128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PROS AND CONS OF CRRYPTOGAMBLING. on: May 08, 2022, 07:49:14 PM
Let’s talk about the cons:
Ofcourse, there is a fly in any honey pot. Playing at an online crypto casino has some disadvantages that are worth thinking about, too.
Firstly, crypto-gambling is never a stable source of profit because anything can happen(loss) .
This cons isn't an exclusivity of CRYPTO GAMBLING. That is actually a cons of gambling in general, being it fiat or crypto and physical or virtual.

I think a disadvantage of gambling with cryptocurrency is the volatility of the currencies, what means your bankroll will be fluctuating all the time, and depending the market's conditions (like right now), your funds will be constantly going down in value. Maybe you have just deposit 1000$ in bitcoin or altcoins in a casino, but when you start playing, after few minutes, the total value has already dropped to 900$ due to a crash in crypto prices.

That is in fact the only cons specifical of gambling with cryptocurrency I can think about... Another common cons are also found in fiat gambling as well.
4129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Taught my Octogenarian and Septuagenarian Parents about Bitcoin on: May 08, 2022, 07:17:01 PM
I was about to give them a quick overview of blockchain when dad thanked me and reminded me that he and mom had a meeting to attend. The next day, I travelled back to my state. Well, I am glad that they now have an idea of bitcoin.
Congratulations, you have used a very didactic explanation method with your parents! If you aren't a teacher, you could be a skilled one, because your analogies are enlightening and you seem to have patience and a decent vocabulary to transmit your ideas to people in an admirable way.

Have you tried to talk to your parents or any senior citizen about bitcoin?
I've never found a senior citizen with interest for bitcoin yet. Sometimes I try to explain older people about cryptocurrency, but they totally lack focus when talking about it or already have a pre-concept bitcoin is a scam, so they demonstrate fear and even suggest me to stay away from it.

Not the greatest and luckiest of the results, but I liked to have been rewarded with more RPs than lottery tickets.

Hehe, exactly. As I suppose you have your lottery tickets reward disabled, right?
Could you tell us briefly what % of rolls was the base reward?
No, lottery configurations are normal. I've never changed that.
Among total 955 spins, these are the only superior prizes I've received (9 times or 0,94% Cry):

Quote
470 RPs
470 RPs
470 RPs
4700 RPs
470 LOT
4700 LOT
470 SAT
470 SAT
4700 SAT

Thanks to this, now I'm also able to exchange my RPs into satoshis.

Congratulations!
How much time it took to collect 955 WOFs? Did you buy WOFs for RPs?
Thanks!
Between 4 and 5 months probably. When I started accumulating spins I was receiving 6 a day, then some time later I started receiving 7 a day, due to the maturation of FUN holdings.
I don't buy WOFs spins. It was entirely accumulated from the spins daily received.

The recent bitcoin drop lead wheel's base prizes to 48 satoshis/lottery tickets/reward points, so I realized it was time to finally use all spins at once. These are the results achieved:

Not the greatest and luckiest of the results, but I liked to have been rewarded with more RPs than lottery tickets. Thanks to this, now I'm also able to exchange my RPs into satoshis. A very welcome extra bonus after spinning almost 1000 times! That is the impact of FUN over your earnings!

Good luck everyone, keep rolling!
4132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2018 vs 2022 on: May 08, 2022, 05:42:16 PM
The 2022 market is much more mature than it was in 2018. Right now there are more investors (especially institutional ones), more traders, more merchants, more social promoters, more gamblers... All these factors contribute for raising the support level of bitcoin, so we can expect smoother and smoother corrections along the time. 40% looks too much considering those currently market conditions.

So far bitcoin has dropped about 14% since the last stable price in the 39,000$'s range. Next days must be decisive.

However, things can get really bad for bitcoin once US Federal Reserve increases interest rates again (it's expected). On that case I believe a sharp correction could happen leading bitcoin to the mentioned 40% decline in price, although it's a real chaotic possibility, worst of the cases.
4133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "NFTs are overrated, over valued and nothing but useless tech fetishism" on: May 07, 2022, 11:43:23 PM
- Gaming : When games finally become truly fun and not only profitable. Which would rake in the multi billion dollar gaming industry outside the crypto space.
I think that one above is the only useful usage for NFTs, as these items will work inside the game platform that is owned by a company, so piracy won't be possible, while in the case of audio and media's niches piracy will keep playing a big role, because there is no way to forbid people from copying the musics and videos, even though they are in NFT format, and re-posting it somewhere else and even commercializing it.

Art pieces aren't interesting as NFTs also, because it's just like searching for pictures of famous paintings on google and admiring it virtually. The pleasure of observing art is by doing this presentially.
4134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler turns 60 pounds bet into £157,865.59 on: May 07, 2022, 11:08:51 PM

How can you explain such fortunate winning happening for real? It looks unlikely and unrealistic even for a Hollywood movie script!

So are you suggesting that he may have fixed all 16 games ? or better yet he can be an undercover time traveler ?

Of course its luck unrealistic yes, but it happened so yeah one lucky guy.
I don't know, there are different hypothesis: fixed matches, time traveller, fake news, fate or supernatural influence which can't be understood or explained by the science... Wink

What most amazes me is that it's not like winning 16 times in a roll on dice, roulette or at any other gambling game. This gambler managed to pick the only correct draw result among 16 games and also predicted correctly a match which changed the result at his favour at 92 minutes of gameplay!

Pretty sure that's 60 pence as well which is 0.6 pounds.

You always see these crazy parlays because they are inevitably going to happen given a large enough sample size, but you're probably not going to see yourself hit one of these in your lifetime.

Heck, even Drake has hit numerous crazy parlays on Stake - but he bets so much that it is bound to happen.
Thank you. I was in doubt what "60p" could mean and presumed it should be "pound", but as you say, "pence" makes more sense. Changed the title of the thread taking your observation in account.

A gambler turned a 60p bet into £157,865.59 this weekend when two Premier League teams came from behind. The punter correctly predicted all 16 results on Saturday in the Premier League and Championship at odds of over 263,109/1, and while the majority came in with relative ease, late comebacks were needed in two 3pm top-flight games.

Imagine the sequence of events needed in order to deliver the results that would perfectly fit the predictions of this impressive lucky gambler.

Actually, I guess luck purely can't explain this event, there must be something else! Or are these fake news?

4136  Other / Archival / Re: Bears continue to dominate on: May 07, 2022, 06:34:38 PM
The bearish trend will last until the US market breaks, what is inevitable, since they have adopted the same economical policies of third world countries which raise interest rates artificially in order to create temporary financial opportunities and wealthy in the country.

Big businessmen and investors, however, aren't concerned about the long term impacts. They are like grasshoppers, devouring everything on their way, and once an area is entirely drained, they find somewhere else to feed themselves from (that is when crypto environment will become the favorite alternative once again).

Unfortunatelly on medium run, I see no promising hopes for bitcoin, because Federal Reserve is determined to put USA in a several crisis, dropping the economy in the mud. As we can see interest rates were raised in 0,05% already and there is more on the way. Investors will milk maximum as possible from this "ponzi scheme" for now, but good news is that once it's over, bitcoin will enter a new bull run!

The Fed just hiked interest rates and signaled more increases are coming. Here are money moves to make now
4137  Economy / Gambling / Re: crash game some new ideas on: May 07, 2022, 06:22:09 PM
Thanks for your answer , i think your advice is very good idea, maybe we could make a vip system ,you pay xxxusd / month , enjoy the 0 edge games and 0 % profits fee, even withdraw , its all free ,just let you often access
This gambling website , I believe ,the casino owner will show you something that you like to pay for them!
Without a positive house edge of 0,5%, 1% or 2% it will be impossible for the casino to grow their bankroll along the time and make the platform sustainable in order to pay big wins or general profit made by gamblers and also to make some profit for the managers. Without house edge the casino literally "crashes", just like the game you mentioned, and every players on the platform lose their entire funds.

But if you aren't convinced about this reality yet, you can always test on practice by yourself. You might want to launch your own virtual casino, set your own rules and watch for how long it's going to work...

Moreover, the reason why casinos don't decrease the house edge to 0,5% or even less in most cases, it's because they don't feel it's necessary. The number of active gamblers in a daily basis is good, the revenue generated is decent and the feedbacks are great, so why would they decrease their profit like that?

For new casinos it's another story, because they need attractive features to grow their customer base, so it's a possible idea to introduce lower house edge percentages (although they must be always positive). Anyway, be careful: "there's always free cheese in a mousetrap".
4138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you spread BTC to people within you on: May 06, 2022, 12:37:54 AM
I just let those who are interested in it that I have been earning from crypto for long time now.
And I would tell them how my journey starts and how I earn on crypto.
So far I have some friends and even family members who got interested with it and also used it to gain extra profit.
Well, when you talk about profit people are definitely going to get interested in it. But, I don’t like going about it this way because whenever I tell people that I am earning from cryptocurrency, they always ask questions like, how much are you earning? How much will I be able to make?

And other questions like that, and I am not the type of person that likes to tell people what I’m into or how much I am making, I just prefer that it is kept secret and not being talked about all the time. But it’s alright if that’s how you like to go about it.
When I face those questions I just tell them it's not possible to predict or set defined percentage returns in a determined period of time. It's better to let it clear for them bitcoin is volatile and may take a month or few years until profit is made over the initial investment. Bitcoin as investment demands patience and discipline from adopters and sometimes it's not easy and quick to make profit. Being realistic and explaining crypto universe isn't the Disney-Land social influencers, virtual coaches and other gurus in general say, is a good approach to show people around you what they can expect from bitcoin, without exposing your personal income and details of your personal experience.
4139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying land in SHIB: The Metaverse on: May 05, 2022, 11:36:15 PM
Without real gameplay it's hard to say it's something worthful. Most crypto projects (ICOs, NFTs, Metaverses) are scams, so we can't really expect a developer is telling the truth when saying you will be able to buy lands in a virtual world to work virtually and generate income inside this platform without showing proof of that. In my opinion someone developing a "Metaverse", that is actually just a virtual online game, should deliver at least an Alpha or Beta phase before asking for money from investors.

It would be great to see a concept like this working for real in a sustainable way, while keeping bots and scammers away from the game, but I have the feeling it's not happening yet... Moreover, you can't be too careful when talking about SHIB related projects. Many people have already lost money with this memecoin and those who keep insisting on it are likely to be the next victims.

I got a reminder of free spins via email which is nice but I would for the moment speculate we are entering into some weakness.   I mentioned this previously, I had wanted this to appear month end so I got my wider volatility and bigger bet payoff in the monthly price bet but nope it occurs now, a few days after.   Of course this is the way :p
I'll probably save my spins a little bit, the singular shard of light piercing the gloomy mists shrouding the globe being rewards go back to the default full figure when prices drops.   So a little side speculation we do appear to have some weakness for now, there is the idea the trend of some months has just shattered into a million pieces but I might be a little too dramatic on that and it doesnt matter, not sure yet.
I think the best time to roll the wheel's spins is coming... That is, if bitcoin keeps crashing like today. I won't be too greedy to wait until base rewards are set in 50 satoshis/RPs/tickets (not possible to get more than this anyway), but I hope to to roll once base rewards are around 46-47 satoshis... Otherwise, if bitcoin reverts the tendency and remains stable I won't wait anymore, rolling everything once I collect 1000 spins.
