4122  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: To publish my content for free on: June 17, 2019, 06:34:38 PM
Cryptodaily.co.uk accepts guest blog articles. However, I have to tell you they don't publish anything that comes. It must be well-written and structured, free grammar error, and blah blah, as you know. (If you google 'guest post bitcoin" you will surely find some others. Not big but since I don't know your plan behind...)

I would also say, any small/medium sites would accept to publish your content IF it's an outstanding article. They will be happy to publish it, It doesn't cost anything to contact them.
4123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who coined the word "cryptocurrency" ... on: June 17, 2019, 06:21:39 PM
I doubt that since Bitcoin isn't the first cryptocurrency, it has surely be mentioned before. Perhaps it was written 'crypto currency' or
'crypto-currency' but pretty sure it already does before. I admit I tried to search quickly with google anything before Feb 2008 but didn't find. Same with Archive.org
But then I remembered a document from NSA. References listed below are surely worth to read since it has a high chance to get the word in.

4124  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dashing towards $10k or more on: June 17, 2019, 03:56:02 PM
(I bet the price will go below $9.000 this week). After the rise which started in April people started to sell a little but they stopped when they realized we are in full moon period. I mean when we were at $7,500 they started to think it could a lot higher. So they preferred to wait for a period like we are in currently. If you bought at $4,000 not long you're already with a good ROI. But I'm sure most of them are waiting for the $10,000 when it will come, be sure they will start to sell.

4127  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-16] US Federal judge threatens to hold Craig Wright in criminal... on: June 16, 2019, 08:14:39 PM
They may well ask another government to extradite a person. After that, it depends on the relations between the 2 countries, but in the case of the USA and Australia, it could happen if it becomes too much media coverage.
Anyway, it doesn't matter how he's going to get away with it, but I know Karma hits you soon or later.
4128  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [LIST] Free EU bank accounts that you can be opened directly online on: June 16, 2019, 07:58:18 PM
Update: 3 weeks passed since N26 froze my account. 3 days ago they closed it (cannot log in/smartphone unpaired). Money have not been returned and they still dont respond to any communication. FWIW I only transferred to coinbase and back.

Is there ANY bank in europe that I can transfer from crypto exchanges (coinbase) back and forth and have no problems? I opened fidor, bunq and bitwala but in all of 3 of the above I encounter reviews on trustpilot that they do just what N26 did - close account with no reason provided and hope for the best..

What bank do you guys use to trade crypto without having to worry for shit like that?? Any good practices you suggest? I opened a Bl3p.eu (dutch exchange that I read has "good relation" with bunq) but the volume is nonexistant..

It's ironic to say it but national banks are still the best to use with crypto exchanges. I have never got a single problem, warning, phone call or whatever. No matter the banks I use. (The day it happens I won't have any problem I will just reply requesting to close my account). And the cards always work at ATM or POS Grin
If you're facing problems with the relation exchange<=>banks account maybe it's time for you to use a decentralized exchange like Bisq
4129  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Account on kraken hack : 2fa upated withdrawal made. on: June 16, 2019, 04:46:18 PM
Better to send a support ticket to Kraken because here they won't be able to help you with something. They will just tell you to send a support ticket or what is the ticket number if you did it already.
They also have a chat system, maybe if you buzz them there they can speed up your problem.
4130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Debit Cards and KYC on: June 16, 2019, 04:06:46 PM
KYC is something know and stored by the company only (or a 3rd party when it's 'prepaid account'). Sharing information isn't allowed. So no, it's not something shared each time you pay with your card.
And yes in case of an ongoing investigation the companies are forced to give anything asked, name, address, IP, and so on...
4131  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [LIST] Free EU bank accounts that you can be opened directly online on: June 16, 2019, 01:35:01 PM
1) Generally speaking in Europe, after more than 5000€ in transactions the last 30 calendar days, banks (and related services) need to check out if there is nothing unusual. But in fact, it's automated most of the time, and your account(s) aren't even checked if, for example, you send money from your account 1 to your account 2. To make it short, there is no money laundering risk if you send money to yourself.
At worst, they may ask you why you are sending or receiving so much money to this or that person. Or ask you about the source of funds. But you can say a little bit of anything

2) I don't know this service so can't comment about it. But the only way to get your funds back will be after a justice decision, which can take perhaps at least a year or more. Don't you have its prepaid card to try to get $ via ATM?.

3 )It is ambiguous, legally they can ask for the origin, but not necessarily to ask for concrete evidence (such as supporting documents). That's why I was saying that people can talk a little bit of nonsense. It's like you're getting money from your aunt for your birthday, what proof can they ask for? You see.

Can you advise another friendly platform with IBAN DE?
There is no DE, NL or BE Iban, it's a European standard but if you mean a DE company, take a look at Fidor and Bitwala.
4132  Economy / Economics / Re: Issuing loans in Bitcoin, how we could do it on: June 14, 2019, 09:32:37 PM
That's why we will always need banks, whatever if it's to borrow $ or Bitcoin. Banks will always be able to provide some services than us, as the average Joe looking to 'be your own bank' can't provide. Who, as a person, will be ok to lend money to someone if there is no guarantee behind?
The justice takes too long and it has a cost. A bank just takes the money from your next paycheck.
4133  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Has anyone tried SEPA Transfer from Wirex to Kraken ? on: June 14, 2019, 09:20:10 PM
Thanks for the heads up ... I just did a SEPA transfer from Wirex to Payoneer on May/22 and it works ...
Although just a small amount, the SEPA transfer in Wirex is indeed working. Just have to make sure that both the sender and recipient in the same currency.

Be careful because Payoneer TOS clearly say they don't allow digital currency activities. If they decide to label Wirex as a crypto related company your Payoneer account will be in trouble. And you can admit it's easy to define Wirex as a crypto related company, I mean it's a matter of time before they do.

4135  Economy / Economics / Re: Issuing loans in Bitcoin, how we could do it on: June 13, 2019, 11:36:14 PM
There are some points we need to consider:

1) The person requests a loan of $100,000 payable in bitcoins
2) The person requests a loan of 12BTC (~$100,000)
3) the lender is a banker
4) the lender is a joe average

A question coming is, should contracts settle in fiat or Bitcoin? What about the interests.
If the contract is in dollars, for example, the lending portion of 12 bitcoins ( $100k) you repay 1% per month,  $1000 (without interest)
If the contract is established in Bitcoin, the loan part 12 Bitcoins and you repay 0.12 BTC per month (without interest)
You can end with a very very cheap interest rate to buy a house.

As a bank, it's easy if the borrower doesn't pay, it goes to the court, the bank seizes the house. remember in 2008 how many people in The US lost their house. Whatever, you will always have to pay soon or later.

For the average Joe, it's a bit more difficult. Yes, he can hire a lawyer and go to a justice court. How many time it will take? 3 Years or more to see a judge? A judge that will surely say he's not competent to give a judgment since he doesn't even know what you're talking when you say Bitcoin and the chance that Bitcoin itself has not really a legal status in the said country.

I don't say it's impossible but the average Joe it's not so easy as banks, not the same power. Since we claim 'Be your own bank', let's say I lend you 50BTC and you're supposed to repay 1BTC per month during + 4 years. The first year, you repay me regularly without incident, the second year you start to ask for a delay, the third year you're gone. Will I be able to seize the funds on your bank account as banks can do? No

Let's say now we use a smart contract. Not sure which, for exemple, if the total amount isn't repaid after 5 years, the house bought with the money changes its ownership to the lender. Will, it even be considered as a legal contract? you can't send your smart contract to the land registry and say now it's mine.
4136  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which way will it go? Which trend will it follow? on: June 13, 2019, 08:28:48 PM
I thought the price would stagnate around $8,000. But apparently, for the last few days, it's been slowly making its way up. With a few waves of high and low, which some people like to call volatility.
Anyway, It doesn't matter if the price stagnates for 6 months if it stays at $8,000 it's fine for me.  Tongue At the same time, I know very well that a certain crash is possible (as always)
4137  Economy / Economics / Issuing loans in Bitcoin, how we could do it on: June 13, 2019, 06:21:07 PM
I started to think about it. How a bank and folks could issue loans to people?

Currently, when you need to borrow money, your banker just edits your balance account and create money magically. You then pay back monthly.
Banks won't be able to do that with Bitcoin with its limited supply. You can't print bitcoins.

But now, between folks. Let's say I'm the banker and you're the customer looking to borrow money to buy a house. I can lend you the money but how to be sure you will pay me back with full interests? With banks, the solution is easy, the bank seizes the house and you can't do something. But the average Joe hasn't the same 'power' than a bank to collect a debt.
4138  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [LIST] Free EU bank accounts that you can be opened directly online on: June 13, 2019, 06:00:22 PM
Bunq closed my account and asked to provide Iban to transfer my remaining funds there. Does anybody know how long to wait from them to be it done? Support not answering.

They won't answer you. You're not considered as a customer anymore, just a user to 'delete' from the database soon. Your bank account number doesn't exist anymore. I don't know very well Bunq but in the best case, it will take a week, 1 month at max if you forget to give an IBAN or something like that. They don't like to wait for a lot in such case.

4140  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What's the Best Crypto Affiliate program? on: June 12, 2019, 08:33:37 PM
Usually, the gambling industry is known for having lucrative affiliate programs. So I suppose it doesn't change when it's about crypto. If you have good traffic audience related then you can make decent cash with a blog reviewing casino, betting websites, poker, and similar sites.
Anything related to hosting, porn, and finance have also good aff. programs. And not just a $5 bonus lol.
