4121  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Signing Message Help on: March 20, 2016, 09:41:00 PM
How do I share this code, I don't have app showed in tutorial?
The commonly used format would be the following:

Code:
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
[insert your message here]
-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----
[your bitcoin address]
[the signature blockchain.info provided]
-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

An example shorena made is this:
Quote
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
This is shorena from bitcointalk.org and today is 2015.03.14
or as some of you might write it 03/14/15 pi day 2015
-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----
18uTXyQubfaYrkbQDdaXhzd2ALEY5YN77B
IFtLgDZCpvfw0DT70RCLcYXj3Dbjf68sc6pj/C+u5K6IC8PIhHE4Y/ldllt1/yhrZpVW/shFRf7rxQYdsW/CcBM=
-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

The important part is, that you provide the other party with a) the message you signed, b) your bitcoin address and c) the signature.
All those three parts are needed to verify a signed message.

To verify the bitcoin signed message there are many websites, for example a good tool is this one and here too.
Thanks for not suggesting coinig. No one should use that broken tool.
4122  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Please add negative trust to jx9200059 on: March 20, 2016, 09:35:14 PM
Can you please post a proper scam accusation, and most importantly provide sufficient proof?

Code:

[b][color=black]Reference Link: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Amount Scammed: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Payment Method: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Proof of Payment: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]PM/Chat Logs: [/color][/b]

Edit - has anyone noticed that the yellow dot on the OP design is misaligned? No? Just me then.
You're free to make your own interpretation on why it is.
Mine would be, that I was tired and sloppy when making it.
But maybe you find a better reason Smiley
4124  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Signing Message Help on: March 20, 2016, 09:26:43 PM
It is better to make a new post with new information than to go back and edit a previously made post as the edit is often missed.
My edit actually was more regarding the formating of my post, not the content/links, those were there from the beginning.
4125  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Signing Message Help on: March 20, 2016, 09:22:25 PM
On my iPad logged into my Blockchain[.info] account.
Already posted it, but since you seem to have missed my post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0#post_bci
4126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Signing Message Help on: March 20, 2016, 09:04:55 PM
Will someone please explain how to sign a message using my Blockchain address?
Thanks in advance for help.
There's a great tutorial thread by shorena, explaining signed messages, aswell as how to sign and verify them using different wallets / tools, in this very section.
Here's the section for blockchain.info, if that's what you're searching for.
4127  Other / Meta / Re: Question about "Show new replies to your posts" on: March 20, 2016, 08:26:41 PM
I am just cleaning up the threads showing in "Show new replies to your posts."
You can empty the list quickly by "mark all read" at the right bottom. That way, all threads vanish up until a new reply is posted.

How can I determine which threads are showing in my "Show new replies to your posts."?
All threads in which you have posted, and which have replies you haven't read or marked as read yet will show up in this list.
To remove a thread permanently, you'd have to delete all your posts in that thread.

I originally thought that ones can determine it with watch and unwatch.
Those are for adjusting your watchlist (linked right below the replies), not the list of new replies.

OP updated. Check it out!
Where do I sign up?

Just post here. Grin
here.
(I'm in, shipping would be to EU)
4129  Economy / Lending / Re: 5 BTC Loan. on: March 20, 2016, 04:16:50 PM
I change my password on a regular basis as a security measure.
So it should be no problem for you to sign us a message from an old, staked address, how about this one:

Cool!
1BoeLensDrVHLjYW4pPab5UENKBuDupfKt
It's your vanity address, so the chances are good you kept the private key for it over the years.
Also, it was posted before all your feedbacks were left.
4130  Other / Meta / Re: Why my post was deleted -.- ? on: March 20, 2016, 04:12:30 PM
Check the other replies
Maybe those should be deleted aswell, then.

I'm not sure that the watch button works... I've used it few months ago and I remember it didn't work.
Probably because you didn't fully understand how the watchlist function works.
I'm using it frequently, and it works as it should for me.

4134  Economy / Lending / Re: Want $19 BTC ----> $24 / 9 days on: March 20, 2016, 05:10:12 AM
Signing from a staked address would be better, 1MPGDzR91uMdGanKvZVK4vHjHXGeKJNZo8 for example.
4135  Economy / Lending / Re: Want $19 BTC ----> $24 / 9 days on: March 20, 2016, 05:04:50 AM
can you sign a message from a staked address with the terms of the loan and todays date?
4136  Economy / Services / Re: Advertise on my account on: March 20, 2016, 01:16:01 AM
Damn, this is getting to be some seriously expensive stuff. I'll top off your bid at 0.000002BTC per month for his signature and avatar.
Seems like we've gotten a little bidders war over here, guys.
I'll top your bid with a 0.000005BTC bid, for 2 months, but only if it includes the personal text, aswell as avatar and signature.
4137  Other / Meta / Re: How do we find our watched threads? on: March 20, 2016, 01:11:29 AM
https://bitcointalk.org/watchlist.php

Threads will only appear in your watchlist in it has new activity in it.
Not with the link I provided. That one includes every topic on your watchlist.

I'm fairly certain some of those won't work due to the restrictions, did you test all signatures and are sure those are working ones?

let me kick it off, 0.0000001 btc a month.
