4121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing your Crypto in Exchanges is better than using Cold Wallets! on: September 13, 2020, 10:25:51 PM
We cant deny when it comes to security on having that 100% safe since neither of the two would really have the chance on getting lost of your own coins but
storing up your coin on an exchange or a service for long term is much more riskier rather than keeping your own coins on your hardwallet.
Yes, it does have cons but majority would prefer on losing it up rather than it had been stolen by someone. Not your keys not your coins this
had been a common line and i dont know on why you do have this kind of input or views.  Huh
4122  Economy / Speculation / Re: This time when the stock market crashes, Bitcoin will go to moon! on: September 12, 2020, 11:28:35 PM
the stock did crash and btc goes up but it didnt moon yet . now btc started to fall again .

is there any hope left ? what market should be crashed next in order to gather more people to join here but i think there are no more because the pandemic already crashed almost any markets but with some exception maybe to cryptos . so far crypto market is standing still and the only way to push them above again is when the pandemic is over
You should not expect that to happen overnight, do not think of this as an event think of this as a process, the stock market has also recovered significantly after the huge crash that it suffered at the beginning of this year due to the pandemic, it seems that people are not as afraid of the pandemic as they were back then because now we have a lot more information and not rumours, however the economy is not doing well despite the stock market indicating otherwise and it is known this cannot continue for long before the stock market depicts the same reality as the economy in general.
We cant really make out conclusions basing of on presumptions and kind of views and we have already seen that stock market did really experience some depression or dumps but
doesnt mean that it would really be on the floor or wont able to make out some recovery and these markets including forex had been here for a very long time and as usual
a market does really have those bull and bearish runs depending on fundamentals that do happen. It might reflect or not depending on the buyers and sellers on the market
which is the main players when it comes to movement.
4123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Legit trading courses on: September 12, 2020, 10:59:21 PM
I'm new to the whole crypto world and i've been fascinated by trading in this sector. I would love to find a good program that can help me learn and avoid painful mistakes, but im finding it quite hard to figure out which ones are real and which ones are scams!
For now the two one that sound legit are the course from tradercobbs by craig cobb and Blockchain education which is highly promoted by crypto oracle.
I was wondering if anyone knows if they are legit and in case have any advice's on good courses!
I as well have been fascinated to how much experienced traders earned, thus I have started learning the technical analysis. As i'm just starting now,  i don't really have the finance to go through trading courses. Instead, I am go through youtube tutorials from Rayner Teo and Steven Dux. Those two are legitimate self made millionaires through trading and they both teach that we don't have to go through trading courses because what youtube tutorials offers are just the same.
There are lots if you are eager to make some research and it would matter next on how much effort and time you would put on it for you to learn.
No need to spend hundreds or even thousand of dollars for courses which you can actually learn on your own. There are some legit ones but
there no difference since no precise strategy that can really predict market movement and also being profitable or strategies is just a mixed
up of all existing strategies out there. Its up to you on which one would work for you.
4124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance in trouble over listing scam defi token on: September 12, 2020, 10:22:07 PM
Personally, I think projects like "SUSHI" don't have real use cases and real utilities. Traders only buy because of hype and instant profit, after the market collapse there are no fundamentals that are able to sustain the price which eventually drops like hell.

99% of all altcoins don't have any utilities and use cases. It's time to wake up.

On one hand I feel like it's not the exchange's fault that the coin team pulled an exit scam. Sometimes you strike a deal with a company and they bail on you. People are different some can be trusted and some can't.

On the other hand they should put more effort into screening these tokens or they'll become another shitcoin exchange like yobit.

Cz already posted that he has no information on who are the people behind the token, why is that? he asked KYC to all his traders why not the team of the coin they listed, they must prove that they are legit and Binance know who they are dealing, they are nothing less than Yobit who will list any coin right away for a fee without checking if the coin is worth listing in their platform and who are the team behind the project, so many exchanges are doing this and Binance is already like them.
Just take a look on the informations needed before a coin that would be listed out on the exchange which it do really ask lots of things and verifications for sure but
for money then its no surprise that they would simply make out exclusions.

They dont care that much as long they do able to get some liquidity and able to drag themselves to the hype then they wont really care but at least they do
give out some warnings but for a top exchange like this then its a behavior that isnt something that cant really be ignored.
Listing out projects which do have anonymous creators/owners?
4125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for blind people on: September 12, 2020, 09:45:16 PM
I think this idea is very good for blind people to know the development of cryptocurrency in the future and introduce it, but I'm not sure all blind people will understand how to use cryptocurrency by explaining it, because it is very difficult for blind people to understand how cryptocurrency works for them and I'm afraid they don't be able to properly store their security keys in the future.

The fact they are blind doesn't affect their ability to understand Bitcoin. They are maybe blind but not stupid. They can read and learn about it as well as of any other things. Also, today there are laws and recommendations in many countries for web sites to be adapted for blind and other disabled or people with other difficulties so I don't see obstacles for blind people also to use Bitcoin.

You are right! They do able to hear and it would really be just simple for them to learn via audio and understand on whats bitcoin is all about.
When reading then they can always make use of those traditional tactile writing system if there would be one which wouldnt be hard.
It doesnt really matter if you are visually impared or other disabilities it cant really stop people to learn or do know about bitcoin.
4126  Economy / Economics / Re: In COVID-19 everyone needs motivation on: September 11, 2020, 11:55:37 PM
It was really kinda difficult to turn negative thoughts into positive once most specially if you have lost a loved one and have directly been affected by the effects brought by this pandemic but it is true that we must keep moving forward and get ready to continue life even if it is very hard because it was not easy to cope up after experiencing real challenges most specially at these times. We certainly all need motivation to keep going and to boost up our moral that we must continue to get into our lives even if our lives have really suffered during this pandemic. Motivations are really a must have thing for emotional and mental health have also put into stake while dealing on this pandemic not just physical health all along. We do really must keep ourselves motivated so we can have chance to recover and make our lives better while and even after this pandemic.
Easy to say but really hard to be done but its possible for someone to handle things up even the worst things come up to them.Lots of things had been affected by this
pandemic not only on financial state but also in emotional as well. This is why its important to think up positive no matter how worst the situation is that you are currently
facing on.Come to think that you arent the only one experiencing but also other people as well. We do need to motivate ourselves to move forward and continue
on what are the things which we can see that it can benefit us for long term or would able to fix things up.
4127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too much HODLing stealing opportunities? on: September 11, 2020, 10:58:55 PM
I guess you are a real trader by heart.
It's obvious because you are thinking about short or long term profit.

Not all have the courage to do so.
Some of us here just want to wait for a better surprise from Santa Claus.
Its better, somehow it is balancing the market.
By just simply holding doesnt mean that they dont have that kind of heart yet holding for long is still considered to be part of the process
even though its comparable to those people who do actively make some trades on a short span of time without the need of waiting.
It does have its own pros and cons.

Same as mentioned that not all would have the courage to do so.This is why market experience and knowledge will be your advantage here
compared to those people who do just recently make some trades or jumped into the market.
4128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New DeFi project DINO - yield farm audit platform on: September 11, 2020, 09:48:40 PM
I've seen projects like this a few months or years ago, and they are quite promising but they really don't do what they say or promise. Especially right now the DeFi project is hype, so I don't think they are serious enough for that.
Just like on what other said that this is no different into those times where we are still on ICO craze.Lots of project owners do give out such sweet promises but where they do end up?
They do end up on becoming a trash since they do promise out unrealistic or cant be done ones.Im not eyeing that much on DeFi at the moment because when this thing explode out
then i do already have the perception that this is no different just way back.Take a look on what also happen on IEO where it didnt really get that much attention
and this one would really be just heading on the same direction.
4129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is good strategy or technique for Toss Coin? on: September 11, 2020, 09:13:33 PM
Well, that is true. If martingale can be used in dice games it is also be used in toss coin and also in a high and low wagering which are all is based on luck even only two odds have. Perhaps this strategy will work in a short period of time or after you will have 3 consecutive win in a row, that is a sign to exit the site and take your profit. But if you will continue, --you perhaps experience losses because the more you stay the more chances of losses you have upon using martingale strategy.
People can apply any strategy that they may like when it comes to their betting patterns but it has been known for a very long time those patterns do not affect your odds at all which means that for the most part you will be better off by just flat betting than using martingale, however we know that many people gamble to obtain excitement so this is not interesting for them, which is understandable, however people need to know this information in the case they form false hopes of beating the casino with those strategies.
When it comes to entertainment then this is just really like on dice or on slots where a certain time i do play then i do get easily bored. Take slots of example on where
i do hit that roll button for several rolls then i do get easily bored on that one in spite of those fancy graphics or tiles that do come out each roll. How much more on a
toss coin game? Is it really that interesting or enjoyable? I dont think so and when it comes to chances then theres no doubt that it could give 50% chance neither
on a head or tails.I dont see for it to be altered nor changed unless if those toss coin is just a pre-recorded one.
4130  Economy / Speculation / Re: sell now or you WILL regret it on: September 10, 2020, 10:59:31 PM
Sell now or regrets later?
Well, it could be your opinion and I understand that most (probably all) are here for investment. Profits are all that we wanted, some take the opportunity of buying more crypto during the bear season and sell it when the price rise. Of course, I'll do and I don't want to miss the good price again as it happens last Bullrun. It probably that most of us are weary for the incoming and that is because we are not sure about it.

If this could be an opportunity, then why we need to lose it?
People does have different mindsets and even if you do say about on why would someone lose it then its neither a planned one or just missed out accidentally.
When you do talk about holding then this would talk for years or depend on the person on how long he would decide to held up his coins and decide on what would
be the selling point.

Common mistake on missing out these chances is that we dont actually know on what would happen on the future. We do hope for more even if its already the peak
and when the price had corrected then thats the time we do have regrets.
4131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bithumb In Trouble, Police Raids Exchange for Second Time In One Week on: September 10, 2020, 10:18:21 PM
This exchange just ruined their reputation in a short time Sad, really bad for them, because with what’s happening right now a lot of people are going to start losing interest in their exchange and start going for other exchanges that are better.

Right from the time when I joined the cryptocurrency market, Coinbase and Binance has been the only option for me, and I have never bothered myself about looking for any other exchange even though people claim that there are better exchanges out there, I never want to stress myself. And funny enough, I hardly make use of these exchanges lately, I have moved to making use of a local exchange because they have a rate that is far much better than these big and global exchanges.
It depends on whats the issue because people cant just make out final or conclusions if the issue isnt really that severe for them to lose interest on the platform but i cant really deny
that these kind of news or events can really give out some impact on one's reputation. When it comes to these where government do get involved then it do usually talks about violations and other similar case but as mentioned above where the global one havent been affected and do only pertain on Bithumb Korea.
4132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about the idea of decentralized stablecoin on: September 10, 2020, 09:20:22 PM
This is like saying "let's send people to Mars". You could spend hours describing the benefits of doing that, but your dreams will be crushed by all the difficulties of actually implementing it. Stability and decentralization don't work together, because any stability is achieved through a single actor acting as a stabilizer. Besides, if your system uses a centralized asset like fiat currency as its collateral, it will always be an inherent risk itself - fiat currencies can crash, or the government can block this decentralized system from accessing its centralized systems.

Most ideas only ended up as mere ideas. So I don't think what the OP is laying out here will be realized.
And if it is a community-based project, I don't think this will gonna push thru.
Getting long-term interest of the community is very hard. And if you will not see actual movement, I guess this one will be forgotten.
So once the OP decided to go for real on this project, just let us know. Start by purchasing your own domain name for this project.
Wont  oppose into these words yet these are actually part of the reality and this is where some projects do target on which its somewhat revolutionary but the question is?
would they able to make it real or happen? There are lots of factors needed before a project would be realized and it wont really be that simple as it sounds.
Just like what you said these ideas as just mere ones and community recognition will always be on question when it comes to success talks.
4133  Other / Off-topic / Re: Hackers compromised the billing systems of K-Electric with a ransom of $ 3.8kk on: September 10, 2020, 08:28:14 PM
--
Have been always the case and im already dumb when it comes to these kind of hacking news where Bitcoin or other crypto got involved yet its been mainly
used as a tool for such transactions which can really give out that negative perception or views towards bitcoin. This is just that typical hacking incident with
that having a ransom for them to release those documents and files.$3.5 wont really be that big if those files are really that important but if not
then they can opt out on just to ignore. This is why it do really matters when it comes to security so a company wouldnt really end up on this kind of
situation.

4137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling sites should be careful of bringing eSports in on: September 07, 2020, 11:47:18 PM
I started with gambling when I was a kid, first it was football, of course with friends, we played football every day, we had passion for that. Now when kids are more into e-sports probably they will bet on their favorite teams, and they will discover the world of betting. It's not something you can control, kids will find the way if they want to, like most of us, so why not to focus on education, to not speak about gambling in negative way, let's try to
learn our kids how to gamble and how to control their urges for gambling, and all other vices, and there are other more dangerous vices than gambling is, from my point of view.

Technology is upgrading very fast and new innovation will really come out and on todays era where young minds can really be exposed into these things at a very young age and we have seen those number differences
on past years comparing to now where e-sports is really becoming big and known. To know that prize pools do even go beyond multi-million of dollars which means it does really have that kind of level of recognition.
Crypto gambling sites had already list out or include e-sports for a while now and theres no stopping of it if they do saw that demand is there. There are even solely dedicated e-sports fiat gambling sites.
No surprise if that would be clinging up to this market also.
4138  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without setting stop loss (Risky or Not)? on: September 07, 2020, 10:31:48 PM
It is duly dependent on you of course. But since not setting a stop loss works good for you so far, then just continue with the flow. But of course in whatever strategy we do on trading there would always be a down side or a ris associated for the market behavior will not always be that constant and would really not be duly favorable on the strategy you have been using for a long time now. You should still see how the market behaves and decide if you would go into setting stop loss or just continue with what you have used to do. There are certain risks on that strategy but of course there are also certain goods but as what I say that would still be dependent on the market behavior if the strategy would be a risk taking or benefit gaining. It is just still up into you if you would go or stop but based on what you have experienced, it seems that it is working so good but maybe for your part but for others, it might be the same outcome.
There are really times which stop loss is needed and there are times which isnt really necessary. Its right that better to stick out on current strategy you do have as long it do gives out profit.
Not all told strategies do works for everyone this is why this will involved lots of try outs and later on you would able to discover for yourself if its effective for you or not.Being trader would be
classified on different categories depending on the time they do spent and the effort they do make. Some do consider being active ones and some will just stay for long term so thats why
setting stop loss on day active trades isnt necessary yet volatility can easily hit or eat that up. When asking about on risky matters then neither which side you are in, it do have its corresponding risk.
4139  Economy / Gambling / Re:  Gransino.com | New Online Casino | BTC ETH XRP LTC on: September 07, 2020, 09:44:09 PM
Another casino with license from Curacao...
Seems to be that you started as a non crypto casino and than later added cryptos. I would also add doge and trx.
Full kyc required to make an account.
Not all users are in favor of providing a kyc just to create an account in a certain online casinos. Even me, I don't usually join that needs to submit personal identification. Actually upon opening the site is appealing to the viewers. And to add it's best if they could indicate that they accept crypto to deposit.

Majority will declined the mandatory KYC in a site since people playing here for anonymity so its non-sense to implement this since we are not dealing with fiat here. Same as you I'm so careful about sending my personal details online so this KYC thing here is better not to be mandatory since it could confuse people to come here.

The site is appealing though its new so I will just watch the flow here.
Majority of people that do tend to jump into crypto space is to those someone who do really value up their identity or simply means they do like on being anonymous thats why its somewhat
non sense if some crypto sites do really ask out for some KYC but including into their terms they might really ask it out if they do find out something fishy into your betting or activity but
overall they dont really ask it out on the first place.

It would really be just a big turn off if they do require it and as expected this wont really give out too much noise and will surely end up on a failure.
4140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lost coins through bitcoin SV on: September 07, 2020, 08:39:54 PM
I don't think you were hacked. I'm fairly certain it was replay protection. what was the transaction id for the bsv transaction?

Why don't you think that? What is a replay protection?

I did take a look into blockchair.com/ and that transaction was followed by 2 transactions. And I can follow those two transaction into other transactions as well. So I guess that it was a hack.. Or is it anything that I can look after to tell that it wasn't a hack?

Btw is electrumsv.io a legit site? Perhaps it's worth to mail them to ask if they are aware of any malware in their portable wallet..
Im not that familiar with BSV's replay protection but you can have some read up on here towards into that matter:
https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/a5edvn/what_is_going_on_with_the_bitcoinsv_replay/

Most likely into these kind of common hacking incident on where someone do able to download some sort of malware and do the damage.
If you are hesitant on using up your pc then better to reformat it.
