4121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange Dogecoin for what? (I need advice) on: February 21, 2021, 11:09:16 AM
I would say the following:

BTC
BNB
ADA

That's the first 3 that I would do if ever I see some Doge in my old wallet.

ETH though is still good if you wanted to exchange it, since it's a prime mover as well in the altcoin market. But those 3 looks solid to me, but that's just opinion though.
4122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Miguel Berchelt vs Oscar Valdez WBC Super-Featherweight Title on: February 21, 2021, 10:16:45 AM

They should have stopped the fight a little earlier, Miguel has been hit with too much power punches prior to that exclamatory punch.

Miguel Berchelt is to passive he just move forward and try to land as many punches as he can while Valdez is waiting for the right time to land that big punch, and so it came at the right time and with a good timing he hit Miguel Berchelt with a very hard left hook it was a well preferred left hook, it's hard to get up from that punch.
Miguel Berchelt is a come forward fighter, and Oscar Valdez has the perfect punch for him, his left hook. Miguel Berchelt was really outclassed from the very first round. Valdez didn't engage him in a brawl and always brings the fight in the middle of the ring. Miguel Berchelt is a great champion no doubt, but it was a off night for him, no power in his punch. He was the bigger guy that night, but he didn't know how to take advantage of it.
4123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think the price of neo will reach $ 200? on: February 20, 2021, 11:11:13 PM
The way its price is increasing at the present time, many people think that its price will go above $ 200. Do you think so?
We are in a super fast bull run, so everything is possible, the question is, are they sustainable though or investors or speculators are going to take profits once it reaches $200? NEO has been in the scene for a long time, I remember it was touted to be a competitor of Ethereum as well in the past, but it wasn't materialized though. But for the sake of arguments, if someone pumps NEO and will definitely reach a new highs of $200 specially when FOMO sets in.
4124  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price hits $55K, reaching a $1T market cap faster than Amazon & google on: February 20, 2021, 10:08:17 PM
Bitcoin’s market capitalization pushed above the $1 trillion level. This milestone occurred less than a year after its market cap dipped below $100 billion on Black Thursday and the move to a new all-time high took place right as BTC price is on the verge of overtaking $55,000. READ THE COMPLETE ARTICLE HERE: https://worldpublicityblog.com/index.php/2021/02/20/bitcoin-price-hits-55k-reaching-a-1-trillion-market-cap-faster-than-amazon-and-google/
Bitcoin has already overcome the $55k as it price hit above the said price, this is just another millstone from bitcoin, we are going to see more highs in bitcoin price soon. Sometimes i disagree with those comparing the Gold and Silver to Bitcoin because they have different time frame existence, bitcoin just clock at 12 year while the aforementioned products have been in existence, so, why comparing bitcoin to the likes of gold and silver?.
Yes, perhaps it's just a comparison to other commodities like Silver and then To Gold for being mine and store of value. As far as the trillion market, another milestone for a very young market. And we could be hitting even higher this year as this bull run can't stop and we don't know what will be the top price of this year. $60k-$100k is the next target and we will see that marketcap growing big as we march towards 2021-2022.
4125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 20, 2021, 06:00:10 PM
Djokovic said in this interview that he finally feels good and ready for the finals: https://ausopen.com/articles/features/djokovic-building-momentum-drive-nine
''I felt as best as I felt so far in the tournament tonight – physically, mentally as well,”
When he feels like this and has no health or other problems Djokovic is the strongest and I think Medvedev will find it very difficult to stop his winning streak in Australia.
Meedvedev also has a big streak of wins but the question is whether he has reached the psychological level of Djokovic and whether he can cope with the big pressure of the GS final.
The last time he failed to do so.
Was interesting to hear that he is feeling good as the tournament progress, few games ago he said he had some kind of injury in his abdomen. Anyhow Djokovic has a history of faking his injuries though. So it will be a good finals, him and Medvedev battling it out. Old and new generation, so it won't be any easy match, but I think that Djokovic still has the numbers of this young players and won't easily handling the torch yet.
4126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB is No. 4 (3RD NOW) on: February 20, 2021, 05:39:10 PM
Just a minor dump have been witnessed on BNB in the last 24 hours, as it dip 10% or more already. While Ethereum goes to another all time high and tops $2k for the first time. So as far as the price goes, Ethereum is the winner. But BNB is slowly eating Ethereum shares on the market per project because the fees is cheap as compare to Ethereum, so this is the critical path for both coins. If Ethereum can't solved it and BNB is offering alternative then we might see some flippening in the next 5 - 12 months in favor of BSC.
4127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and the real world. 💸 The Movement! on: February 20, 2021, 05:15:38 PM
What in your opinion is the biggest power of the crypto movement for the real world?
Hmm, government around the world are creating their own native coin, so that alone will tell us that we are really moving into the digital world and its been accelerating in the last 3 years thanks to crypto.

Where do you see blockchain/crypto making a significant impact over the next decade?
Everything, including the banking system. Since blockchain helps everyone, from small to big companies, governments, non profit and profit organization, it will have a significant impact specially sectors that play with large data to make their business decisions base on it.
4128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB reached $300 on: February 19, 2021, 05:33:32 PM
Right, as BNB holders, everyone is very happy to suddenly see it goes into a massive spike going to the top 3 spot in this Ethereum lead bull run market. And I would say that sky is the limit now for Binance as it might hit $1k or even higher if this growth will continue this year.

The Main Smart Chain is their crown jewel now as projects are moving into it. Of course there could be some sell off later, but since we are in the altcoin bull run, those dumps are going to be negligible.
4129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Binance be the next Ethereum? on: February 19, 2021, 04:30:25 PM
as we can see if the price of Binance has risen very high for now and even all the coin that use Binance smart chain have also increased very high and of course gas fees from Binance are very low compared to Ethereum, so there is a possibility that in the future there will be many projects using blockchain from Binance and that is an opportunity for Binance to replace Ethereum (become the king of all altcoin).
For that to happen, majority of projects will have to switch to Binance Main Smart Chain, so far though there are a lot of projects running on it and there could be more assuming that Ethereum's scalability are not going to be solved in the future.

so do you agree with me if Binance will be the next Ethereum? or are you thinking of anything else?
But I wouldn't say it will be the next Ethereum, they can compete which each other, thus this will be good for the ecosystem. But Ethereum are going to stay and can't be replace.
4130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think the price of BNB will go above $ 300? on: February 18, 2021, 05:17:58 PM
The way its price is increasing at the present time, many people think that its price will go above $ 300. Do you think so?
There is a chance that BNB can go as high as $300 in this bull run.

(a) as Ethereum fees is too high, there are projects that will probably shift and use BNB mainnet
(b) as we are in a bull run, there could be a growth of newbie traders entering the market and could be using Binance and it's native token BNB to take advantage of quick and faster and less fees
(c) FOMO on BNB
(d) the man behind BNB, CZ can influence the market price with just a simply tweet
(e) continues improvement of their mainnet
4131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now that Bezos dethrones Musk, what with Dogecoin on: February 18, 2021, 12:56:41 PM
I don't know if these guys are taking the title seriously, I mean their money is illiquid, so for them they are just numbers. As for Doge, it will still continue to be a meme coin, regardless if Elon are going to support it or not.

For the price, It will continue to be used by a lot of groups for their pump and dump and I don't think that Elon relegating to the second spot will have drastic effect on Doge (whether positive or negative).
4132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: POLKADOT - Closing in to 4B USD market cap from its recent spikes. on: February 18, 2021, 12:26:58 PM
Of course, as the dev is fully active and 100% on the project, we will see a massive spike in prices. And it just so happen that this development occurred during the bull run, that's why it's really hard to stop as it has jump tremendously in the top 4-6 spot and very consistent.

$31.00 is already huge, but as I have said, there are more leg room for the price as it might hit $40.00 or even $50.00 at the end of the year.
4133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panda Yield (BBOO) +98963 % in 24h WTF? on: February 18, 2021, 12:01:21 PM
https://ibb.co/KqSDcgc

What did happen here? Anybody has some more infos?

From under 0.01 $ to 7.00 $ in 24h?

Apparently a yield farm on Binance Smart Chain...
It's obvious pump-and-dump, of course if you are able to ride the hype then you can make a lot of money, but the risk is very high.

And I just check the price today, its now $8.0 so more people are being caught inside and this could be a trap as they can't exit because they have invested on top, too bad when the dump happens.
4134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 17, 2021, 09:25:20 PM
and Rafa was looking comfortable for the first 2 sets then Tsitsipas
turned it around, such mental strength on top of the skill level.

Rafa made some really simple errors though in the last set.

I'm happy for Stefanos, looks like the younger talent is pressuring
the old guard.
It seems that we have some happy bunny here seeing Tsitsipas winning against Rafa here, Lol.

This will bolsters Stepanos mentality in this tournament, h2h Rafa is ahead but it seems that he is developing to be a good player, and we have been expecting Stepanos to really play tough against Rafa or Djokovic here (if he got the chance).

So it will be Danil vs Stepanos in the other semi finals bracket. Djokovic vs Karatsev on the other side.
4135  Economy / Speculation / Re: When BTC Bull run will end? on: February 17, 2021, 09:08:19 PM
Can anyone guess [educated guess please] when the current bitcoin bull run will end? The last bull run ended around 8th January 2018. It would be interesting to know when the bull run game will over.
I think the bullrun this time will be longer than usual, most likely the peak will be at the end of 2021 or early 2021, because the altcoin season hasn't come yet keeps the bullrun on track, of course if this happens and you listen to me, I hope not to sell altcoins that you have, and also the bitcoins you have, because the peak is not yet visible, so take it easy.
Yes, this bull run is very different from the rest of the bull runs we have seen before, 2013 or 2017. So it's hard to say when it's gonna end as we may have just started this bull run when we hit $50k, contrary to the others saying that it will end once we reach this price.

Don't know about altcoins though, but bitcoin? Yes, it's better to hold as we might hit $100k this year or even higher.
4136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice for a bullrun newb on: February 17, 2021, 08:14:15 PM
One time or another you have to sell to make profit. As you have said, ADA as long term, but amongst the coin you mentioned, it is the one that I'm familiar with and the rest looks like shit coin to me, (don't get offended and don't take it personally).

But in any case that you have chosen those coin, and to avoid high gas fees today, why don't you just HODL then in the next 3-6 months and see how it goes? No need to shift funds as you have admitted you are still a newbie and you might get lost along crypto trading.
4137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin "pumped", will Garlicoin be next? on: February 17, 2021, 07:38:06 PM
The Dogecoin "frenzy" continues thanks to Elon Musk's positive comments about it. What once started as a "joke", is now being taken seriously by people in the mainstream world. Those who got into Dogecoin before the GameStop craze, made a lot of money by now. DOGE now sits within the $0.07 - $0.08 price range on the market. If the hype persists, we could see higher gains in price for the "meme" coin.
Sooner or later we will see a dump. And then after a couple of months, DOGE will be pump again. Proving that it is just a "meme" coin.

All of this makes me wonder, will Garlicoin be next? After all, GRLC is a "joke" just like Dogecoin is today. Its creation was truly inspired by Dogecoin itself. Who knows if Garlicoin becomes worth $0.10 in the not-so-distant future? In this strange and bizarre world of crypto, anything could happen.

Thoughts? Huh
Will Elon Musk tweet about it? LOL. In any case though, pumpers are looking for coins that will create hype and then do their fraudulent pump and dump so why not? Not be as hard as DOGE but maybe they could make money on GRLC and then that's it. Rinse and repeat.
4138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hits Record $48.2K on: February 15, 2021, 09:38:33 AM
Currently its ATH is at $49k which is hitting a new record again. Will it reach $50k before the first quarter of the year or it’ll be bearish after. It’s a good thing a lot of people are now investing bitcoin, I know a lot of my family and friends who have just invested early last year and just realized they should’ve invested way way before when I told them 4 years ago.
Even if we didn't hit $50k in the first quarter of 2021, does it mean that we are in bearish mode again.

Again, bitcoin's narrative has change a lot with this huge money coming from big companies like Tesla. So I think we just started the bullish phase with just minor drop in prices. But I do agree that $50k is a big barrier for now. We almost at arm's way but then again after setting a new all time high yesterday, we see some sell-off. And so again we will try to attempt this big mental barrier again this week and we could be successful.
4139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Australian Open 2021 Discussion thread on: February 15, 2021, 09:01:05 AM
^^ I agree here. I don't know but I have suspected that Djokovic could have been faking his injury not just in this year's AO but throughout his career them. Perhaps he wanted to give his opponent a feeling that they can bet him and that he was at a handicap or something.

But little did they know that Djokovic is playing mind games with them and this has been working on his side all the time. Not good to fake injuries just to have an advantage.
4140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I can't redeem a paper wallet - HELP on: February 14, 2021, 12:05:20 PM
Hi, a few years ago I gave my little sister some doge with a paper wallet, now given the price increase she wanted to redeem them.

I had made the wallet with bitcoinpaperwallet.com and encrypted with bip38.

The problem is right here, the site does not decrypt my key (the password is correct) but continues to load without results. I also tried another site (walletgenerator.com) and it has the same problem.

I also tried to create a new wallet with bip38, and it also stays loading indefinitely without encrypting it.

Ideas?
When did you used bitcoinpaperwallet.com though?

The reason why I'm asking is that the services turns out to be a scam, when the original owner sold the website years ago (2018), help me shut down the bitcoinpaperwallet.com scam.

I created this doge wallet in the spring of 2018, but I used it again to create a bitcoin wallet in gen 2019, with the idea of having my ticket to mars to be redeemed in 2029  Grin

Do you think those funds are at risk? It's 0.1 btc, wouldn't they swept it already if it was compromised?

According to the reddit post that I link above, the original owner sold it in 2018 so possible that your funds in at risk here.

So if I'm in your shoes better to move it out, just to be in the safe side. But still the final decision is yours my friend and wish you the best in your decision, 0.1 BTC is already huge at the current price.
