4121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fiat-betting to crypto+betting on: October 29, 2021, 06:15:54 PM
I agree, in many fiat bookies, you'll be required to comply but with crypto casinos, not all of them will force you to do as long as there's no suspicious activity on your account and they don't really ask for it.

KYC is mandated on fiat sportsbooks because those bookies are registered and licensed companies. In case of fraud, users are somehow protected and investigation might result in success because of transaction tracking.

In crypto, it's definitely a great advantage that we don't need to comply with KYC but unfortunately, there's a chance that most crypto gambling sites will now require it as centralization in crypto is now slowly taking place. For now, let's take advantage that we are not in that stage yet. But in case it's now happening, it should be expected.
Hopefully that it would take a long time before all of them enforce it. While we're enjoying this perk, there are still some cases that are different from the usual.
Being asked to do so and they won't comply because they stand to what they think is applicable to them. But they have to understand that there are policies being made and they have to adopt what are the house rules by the casino they're playing.
4122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Be in a hurry on: October 29, 2021, 04:44:59 PM
Trading is really volatile. There is no guarantee that whether the price will rise or down. If you are in profit then you should sell in hurry. But if you are facing loss then be patience and wait until the value increase again.
I wouldn't tell you to sell in a hurry but take time to realize the profits that you have to take. We all do deserve to take profits but if somebody thinks that the profit isn't enough then he should hold as much as he can. While he's still in the sequence of holding, he'll get to think of it if it's already enough to let the profits go.

So sometimes you should wait and sometime you do not need to wait just because you are in profit. There is no guarantee that the price will rise more than this value. So be in hurry if you have even small amount of profit.
I agree with the last part about taking small profits. You'll never know if that small profit you'll be taking is good enough for you already to satisfy yourself because later it might give you a pump. It's the kind of strategy that those conservatives need.
4123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fiat-betting to crypto+betting on: October 28, 2021, 11:48:59 PM
In my point of view, the main advantage was the variety of options that emerged.
Today it is possible to place bets from anywhere in bookmakers that are also anywhere in the world.
Of course, the crypto bets we have today may not be as secure as they once were, as they lack many regulations, but with so many good options out there, it is possible to greatly limit the risks.
This is true although before cryptocurrencies emerged, the online fiat bookies were already in existence and everyone can do with just a few clicks or taps away just like what you're saying. But today, it's easier because of the quick adoption and variety of cryptocurrencies that we're free to choose from as long as it's supported by the bookie where we're playing at.

Privacy is also another important factor that came up with crypto betting.
I agree, in many fiat bookies, you'll be required to comply but with crypto casinos, not all of them will force you to do as long as there's no suspicious activity on your account and they don't really ask for it.
4124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Tips- what kind of strategies do you use when playing? on: October 28, 2021, 10:35:56 PM
Still, a strategy but you've got to be better than others if you think that you'll do this. That's why you have to intimidate the other opponents you've got sitting on other chairs.
It's always a guarantee win but when you're better than others then you have the edge but if not, then you just have to accept the fact that there are the others who's better than you in doing it.

Can accept it as a strategy, but the fact is, if you're bluffing all the time just because of your bad luck that you don't get good cards, will definitely help your opponents understand since the very first or maybe second time you bluff in front of them. Bluffing isn't something that really needs any sort of special skills so to think that others do it better, the fact here could be that the players catch us and sometimes, it's better to just fold rather than going ahead, thinking that if we double or increase our bet more than double, they may fold, and some even leave the table because of their steep financial behavior.
I do understand and you're right. There are instances that it's better to fold than to bluff, if you can bear with that round and you might lose not that much, it's better to fold.
But when you're in that hard situation and you're about to lose the last money you have and the cards isn't with you then you have to play that part of bluffing just as the last resort for survival.
4125  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders always learn to leave when the ovation is laudest on: October 28, 2021, 04:05:01 PM
It's hard to know when the crash will come and that's why you have to set yourself a plan when you'll be taking profits. There's the feeling of someone who wants to sell about regret that it might go further and pump some more and you'll miss it if you start selling and taking your profits.
That's why if you're taking profits, you don't think about what will happen next and just like the comedian, you go out of the stage and take your time to your comfort zone and enjoy the profit you've taken.
4126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the fastest way to grow wealth in our present world of digital currency? on: October 28, 2021, 02:26:14 PM
It's true that the crypto market is the medium of the wealth transfer in the modern world. But do not be too optimistic about being rich in here, there's always the slow process but profitable. It's better if you're planning your path by investing in bitcoin and some altcoins but removing that being rich quick, that might lead you to fall because newbies can get into get rich scheme by having that mindset that they shouldn't have.
4127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling addiction is getting real on: October 27, 2021, 10:45:53 PM
Here is the finalize thoughts and last post that i will be made regarding on my betting addictions and about this post .

1.  Lost 20k just in 2 days after 'touching' on slots . Before that i mostly just play on Sportsbet ( mainly UFC ) and do tradings most of the time . never really a heavy betters . Most of the time i just watch some streamers bet in twitch.com

2. 20k is alot not gonna lie . Although did not affect my life as i just used up my 'profits' in trading for the past few month, learnt from this mistake. And i was going to 'double-up' on trying to get back the money i lost in slots but stopped it . ( glad i did not redeposit again , if not 20k is might not the final amount here )

3. For Sportsbetting / Slots , i will take 1 month back and rethink on what happen in the last 2-3 days before back to gambling . From what thought and watching the post that you guys gave me , i mostly will stop on gambling for awhile especially slots. Side note : as I am a huge fighting fans (MMA) but usually just bet 100-500$ bets . The way i lost 20k is that i just tried to earn some huge wins by buying 'bonus' and not by rolling spins. Maybe this is way i lost so much in short amount of time .

Just chat with the support , Will start my exclusion after UFC 267. ( as I already placed my bets on it , and after the event will just withdraw from Stake and start my 1 month exclusion ) and back to my trading .

Thanks for the support and reply . Appreciate it and wanted to say , stay off from gambling or bet on what you are willing to lose. Will continue to update my post .  Sorry for the bad english , as it was not my main language.
That's still quite good I guess that you've lost that amount as your profits. I don't know how much effort you've made that amount and how long exactly you've taken from doing it.
And telling us that it's not going to ruin your life, that's a good thing to hear about because when there are gamblers that lost a huge amount, they're completely out of their minds and don't know what to do afterwards.
4128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Tips- what kind of strategies do you use when playing? on: October 27, 2021, 09:31:50 PM
--snip--
Bluffing is good if you know how to intimidate the other players as you're too confident bluffing it. But in actual table, the face-to-face one, you might find it hard to do that if the opponents are better than you.

Right, bluffing sucks TBH.
I tried playing some tournaments and when there were bad or even worst combinations with me, I tried to scare my opponents by going either all-in or for very big amounts, but when they actually play ahead instead of folding, I lose. This isn't a strategy TBH but just a way to fool others and make money in poker.

@OP, till good cards appear in your hands, don't even try to go ahead and don't bluff if you don't know what are the consequences gonna be!
Still, a strategy but you've got to be better than others if you think that you'll do this. That's why you have to intimidate the other opponents you've got sitting on other chairs.

4129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is BNB facing resistance at that $500 level? on: October 27, 2021, 04:02:26 PM
The whole market is struggling to get into another high. That's why including BNB, it's not going up further because bitcoin has been dropping. All of the altcoins are very dependent on bitcoin. If bitcoin starts to correct then they'll follow it no matter how high and huge the volume of it.
There will be the significance of it with bitcoin and the alts and that's the same with BNB.
4130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL, HODL, HODL when can one actually sell Bitcoin? on: October 27, 2021, 02:41:11 PM
You won't make money if you don't sell it.
By any chance, we really have to sell at the right time. At the moment, it could be one of the best prices to sell but just a few hours ago the price was $63k and then it suddenly plunged.

now, yes now is the right time for you to sell Bitcoin and wait for the price to come back down and then you buy it back.
Buying at the top and waiting for it to correct for a moment so that you'll get a discount. That's the usual strategy that we have been mastering all of the time.
4131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A curious case of mine on: October 27, 2021, 10:37:34 AM
Guys I've been using uniswap and pancake swap for some time now but something a thought always come to my head, is connecting your wallet to these two Dex platforms safe? Is connecting wallet to these platforms revealing one private keys?
Yes.
Both are safe but if you want a safer thing then you just have to use a newly made metamask wallet for it. Whilst your original wallet with the balance, you'll just send your tokens on that newly made wallet.
But the disadvantage of doing this is you'll have to pay that much fee, considering that the gas fees are too much today.

They do review that for sure but spotting on which is legit could be easier if it's on the forum so that there will be a lot of users that can also see the artworks.
If there's seem to be a familiar artwork from someone, they can spot it on and tell that it's familiar to them and have seen it somewhere. But twitter or any platform, we will always wish the best on these art contests of duelbits and as well as the participants.
I even support if duelbits hold an art contest again in the forum so that it becomes something big even in a forum no less interesting than Twitter.
I know that twitter is a marketing that is widely used on every platform to make it easier and also all other info and announcements now they usually do a lot on twitter and that's true but I think this needs to be balanced so that all forum and twitter users can enjoy the results the best art contest with them is conducted by the participants.
You should support whichever platform they held any contest of theirs.  Smiley

Thats true, on twitter, the team is not also aware that the artwork is stolen. Good thing there's a user who spot and report it to the team thats why the winner is replaced. Well, twitter is also a good place to promote their site and conduct a contest but it would be better if they also held a contest here just like before.

BTW, is there anyone here playing Rise of Olympus? Im quite hooked on this slot game now.
There might be a way for them to verify authenticity of entries and it's all on them and we don't know how they do that.

I haven't played that yet. How much you're winning then?  Cheesy
4133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Tips- what kind of strategies do you use when playing? on: October 26, 2021, 08:31:59 PM
That can be done with a face-to-face table but if it's just online, you'll barely know how the opponents play with their cards. I think if you're observant and focus on both things at the same time as you play. That's like learning your cards and understanding the possibilities of your opponent's cards. And at the same time, you're also observing their acts towards their cards per round, I think that's quite hard to do.

In poker, good combinations of cards are rare.

However, sometimes they fall out.  Such chances should be used to the maximum.  In these situations, it is necessary to dramatically increase the size of the bank.  This can be done in a simple way.  Without trying to resort to trickery.

It also happens that you are missing one card.  If you get this card, then you have a strong combination.  What to do in this case?  In this case, you need to bluff!

This is a chance to increase the bank and wait for the card you need.  Your winnings in this case will be the maximum.
Nope, they're not really rare. It happens from time to time, table after table. That's why if you're just going to look for the rare high combinations then you should just go and watch for highlights.
Bluffing is good if you know how to intimidate the other players as you're too confident bluffing it. But in actual table, the face-to-face one, you might find it hard to do that if the opponents are better than you.
4134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the government expect from bitcoin legality? on: October 26, 2021, 07:12:37 PM
    • Does the government want to get involved in this investment as an alternative to their desire to generate wealth for the individual or the country?
It's not about generating wealth for their citizen but it's about their main concern to their own government and how they can make use of bitcoin.

    • Want to provide financial freedom for all its people?
I don't think so. If they want to give financial freedom to its people, they'll choose a different thing. And having financial freedom shouldn't be reliable to the government's idea and policies. It comes from within of each individual.

    • Want to improve people's living standard during the pandemic because of the difficulty of generating jobs?
Maybe, since it's about technology and upgrade the government like El Salvador wants their people to improve their way of living through cashless society.

now the price literally going crazy, with no top , guess u should have exit plan, remember dead May before, but the good news, its still far from over, btc wont get high correction like 2018 before touch 140k ++ . of course this is just my thought.
It got actually a top and it was near $67k and I've thought that it will break to that price but it didn't. But the good thing is it didn't went close to $59k but only $60k. This is actually a good sign that the dip was truly healthy and it's recovering a little by little. Thinking of an exit plan is too early if you're thinking that at this time. If you're satisfied then with $60k+ then you should have your exit but don't regret if you ever see and realize that bitcoin has the potential to go more than $100k.

and i dare to bet 20k it's the new price floor for btc when wipe out came later. just imagine , according to JP morgan , investor on gold ETF move their fund to Bitcoin ETF ,a few of course, but that can be a signal how bullish this year.
If it lands to $20k as the floor price, that's too much at this rate but everything is possible. The lowest that we get this year while we've seen the ATH was $28k and it's close to the price that you're saying. What do you mean by wipe out? when you say wipe out, it's going to left nothing at all.
So if you're standing on that assumption that a wipe out will happen then there's nothing left anymore whether there are gold investors or etf investors in the market.

    Hello,
    Thank you all.
    Can anyone suggest other coins?
Why not just buy those coins that has good reputation in the market? They can be good for all of those seasons, short term, medium term or even long term.
They're proven to be at their best and worse and if they're at the good position on these days then that only means they've earned it and, it's all because they're good projects like Ethereum.

    Hello Guys

DEFI hacks and rug pulls have been very common lately. Came across of https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/lossless/ . This project resolves issue with Defi hacks. Recently they recover $$ for Cream Finance. Seems like a good projects and low supply.
Seems like a good project to look at if they have that mission for why they've made that project.

Anyone have any opinion about this project ? Seems like $40-$50 in this Bull run for this project IMO.
I'm not negative about it but I've seen such project with a lot of supply that have been with their two digit per coin. It's still going to be a long way for this coin as the all time high of it was $2.59 and it was hit just a few days ago. If you're too optimistic about this project, good luck holding it. There's still a long way to go if they have this type of task to recover with project hacks.

Didn't this happened already before? Too bad that after the coinmarketcap hack, this has happened next. I also believed that there's also a negligence from the owners of those channels that there's some emails that they've received and likely a sponsorship or brand deals that they like to accept the offer and asks them to click a link like a sort of form or agreement. These hackers are tricksters and does reverse engineering, I just hope that many will be aware of this scam and many will avoid it once they see these broadcasts.
4140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Tips- what kind of strategies do you use when playing? on: October 24, 2021, 10:42:28 PM
Strategy is a must in terms of playing poker, but it is also quite important to develop one's logic and mathematical skills to predict and read the movements of your opponent. Having a poker face or to intimidate your opponent is also a skill must have, it's also a battle of emotions no matter what hand you have. You must certainly deal with it intuitively to make money out of poker.
How are you going to intimidate people from the other chairs if you're playing it online? Is there a way to do that? not unless it's another poker platform that will give you some emoticons to trigger the other players whenever you win or every time they lose. I've played that type of poker but it's not with real money and it's only chips that doesn't have monetary value but it's enjoying to poke and intimidate your opponents because it's either they leave the table or do the same to you.

It is almost impossible to do it online, what you can do if you play online poker is to maximize your own knowledge/skill about your card and your chance based on the flops.

It is possible to evaluate how other players play but it is hard because we cant see their real movement and expression. Most of the time, we will be only do guessing whether players are bluffing or not.
That can be done with a face-to-face table but if it's just online, you'll barely know how the opponents play with their cards. I think if you're observant and focus on both things at the same time as you play. That's like learning your cards and understanding the possibilities of your opponent's cards.
