4121  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kraken Exchange Integrates with Bitcoin's Lightning Network on: April 01, 2022, 10:48:50 AM
Better late than never, that's for sure. It's just funny that Lightning has finally been integrated, right now when transaction fees have been very cheap for a while now lmao. But at least it's ready once fees skyrocket again.
4122  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto Sponsorship in the Sports Arena on: April 01, 2022, 07:29:11 AM
There have even been lawsuits against Mayweather because of the shitcoin that dropped in value after shilling it.

Though I doubt it, I sure wish they actually end up paying a price. Because whatever let them advertise bad cryptocurrencies(as there are bad businesses), but it's very different when they're advertising blatant obvious scams.
4123  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting up and trying again on: April 01, 2022, 03:33:54 AM
It's fine not to invest in cryptocurrencies, but it's wrong not to have cryptocurrency in this day and age.

Nah, I'm pretty sure a lot of people around the globe are doing really fine even without cryptocurrencies. You can still easily outperform asset markets in general without investing in cryptocurrencies since most people just end up losing money anyway.
4124  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predicts Bitcoin price by 2025 on: April 01, 2022, 03:15:12 AM
Many experts, including asset managers and crypto analysts including predict Bitcoin by 2025 see below

Pavel Shtikin Bitcoin Forecast the CEO of Nominex exchange predict $500,000 by 2025.

Justin Chuh, a senior trader at Wave Financial predict $210,000 by  2025.

Max Keiser, predict $100,000 by 2025.

Are we honestly still going to listen to price predictions from literally anyone, knowing that time has proven that 99% of them ended up being hilariously wrong almost every single time?
4125  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk IQ Improvement Service $5 only on: April 01, 2022, 03:13:08 AM
Great! Do you accept Chuck E Cheese tokens and Pokémon cards for payment? I could definitely make use of a quick boost!
4126  Other / Meta / Re: Is the IQ test really necessary? on: April 01, 2022, 03:10:04 AM
Of course it's totally necessary, are you nuts? One of the best ways of improving the quality of this beloved forum is to have a quick check on how smart/dumb the posters are. And literally anyone that has an IQ below mine definitely deserves to be permanently banned!
4127  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto Sponsorship in the Sports Arena on: April 01, 2022, 03:08:20 AM
Crypto.com was also a sponsor for multiple sports, though mostly plastered literally everywhere in the UFC.

Also, I've seen a lot of legitimate crypto platforms(Cash App, Voyager, ByBit, etc) and shitcoins(freakin HEX) on Nascar as well.
4128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cant sell this coin on: April 01, 2022, 03:04:24 AM
Did you purchase the minimum amount of GMT? If it's only the amount that is stopping you from selling your GMT, it might be because you are selling a different amount from the amount that you bought.

I'm guessing this. I don't know how KuCoin works exactly, but I'm guessing that OP managed to buy the low minimum amount but is unable to sell because the amount was reduced due to exchange fees.
4129  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting up and trying again on: March 31, 2022, 08:46:21 AM
Unpopular opinion: sometimes giving up is the answer.

Contrary to popular belief in cryptocurrency communities, you don't necessarily need to be in this industry to succeed in life. What if you're better off investing in traditional markets? What if climbing the corporate ladder is best for you? What if starting a business is the answer?
4130  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about sharing merits on: March 31, 2022, 08:43:24 AM
If you have spendable merits, you're totally allowed(and is definitely not frowned upon) to be sending out merits. Just pick posts to +1 smartly and not just throw merits around just because you can.
4131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Books on Bitcoin Drama on: March 31, 2022, 06:22:31 AM
I honestly haven't read this, but it's a safe assumption that there would be "drama" because of the conflict.

4132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Opera integrates Bitcoin in there Browser on: March 30, 2022, 02:12:06 PM
Having your bitcoin wallet on your browser — on something that's pretty much open and online all the time. Yea, probably one of the worst wallet integration ideas yet. Absolutely zero reason to have your bitcoin wallet on your browser as you don't even need your wallet to connect to a platform like with DApps.
4133  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How true is this ? on: March 30, 2022, 01:44:49 PM
I mean, this literally works with anything like businesses or even people in general. You ask project teams questions concerning an actual criticism of yours, not that you're just going to just blabber up questions to confuse them or whatnot.
4134  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Defi Strategies? on: March 30, 2022, 01:33:28 PM
Head over to DefiLlama[1], select your preferred blockchain, and a list of projects/protocols with staking/LP functionalities will be listed.

4135  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why there are no price war on exchanges! on: March 30, 2022, 01:30:44 PM
There will always be fees. Brokers can have "free" transactions, but with far less spread/liquidity that in the end you're pretty much just paying potentially even a higher fee due to liquidity problems.

As for Coinbase — yea, no one is forced to use it, and they have Coinbase Pro.
4136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is There any other country except El Salvador using BTC as legal tender?
 on: March 30, 2022, 01:26:27 PM
Currently full of rumours and plan announcements, though El Salvador doesn't have a predecessor for the latest bitcoin-adopted country yet. With that said, I really wouldn't be surprised if we don't have another legalization this year.
4137  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This could be a dumb question pls go easy on me on: March 29, 2022, 10:07:28 AM
Thanks for the knowledge shared, then I have no problem using those open-source wallets all I have to do is keep my private keys safe, once again thanks for sharing this knowledge.

Quick reminder that open-source doesn't automatically mean that it's secure; it just means that we can see if the software has something malicious in it or not. e.g. a very new wallet software can be open-source but since it's new there may be a lot of security flaws in it. Hence why you should always use reputable wallet software.
4138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Change the Code, Not the Climate" FUD campaign coming next month on: March 29, 2022, 06:36:20 AM
Goodluck convincing the community that's pretty much the biggest PoS critics, to hardfork their chain into the thing they're most critical about lmao. It's like convincing Snoop Dogg to stop smoking weed.
4139  Local / Pilipinas / Re: WORTH IT PA BA? on: March 29, 2022, 04:19:39 AM
As far as I know 90% of the time e signature campaigns lang ang worth it salian ngayon, dahil karamihan parin ng mga ibang bounties ay either hindi nagbabayad, or sa huli halos walang halaga ung ibabayad na tokens.
4140  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers show no mercy, this is how serious crypto investment has become on: March 29, 2022, 04:14:11 AM
Yea.. large scale hackers sure made a lot of money, but I think your claim is a bit too far-fetched.

Guess what — scammers will always exist, inside and outside of the cryptocurrency space. Nothing is going to save people from scams than to stop being so naive and delusional.
