4141  Other / Meta / Re: Free BitcoinTalk notification extension for Chrome & Opera on: September 24, 2015, 10:12:46 AM
Is there a way to check whether this extension is safe? Beside that, this is the extension I've been waiting for.
I know you like to post crap to get more BTC, but at least try to read the thread. I've already examined the code and marked it as safe.

Can you post the source code so that people can examine it?

Mitchell did it already as you can see on this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1169316.0

Update:

Added "Associated Bitcoin Addresses" for userid:

Demo:
http://www.satoshiquiz.com/bitcointalk/getactivity.php?token=14430868545d1650f2b1

That's amazing! Well done.

EDIT: The script lists all addresses ever posted (even those that aren't mine), it doesn't work well with PGP signed text and it also picks up on transaction ID's (but not the full ID). You might want to add a warning for this.

4145  Economy / Collectibles / [WTB] f*D Bar and Kialara cases/container/box/holder on: September 24, 2015, 08:13:07 AM
Hey all,

I'm currently looking to buy a case/container/box/holder for my f*D bar and my Kialara's. Good ones are hard to find. I mean, I did found an amazing Lindner Nimbus 230, but they are quite pricey, mostly because of shipping. Example of how they look, courtesy of fvs114:

Does anyone know something like this or someway that I can display my f*D bar and Kialara's without exposing them to air.
4146  Other / Archival / Re: will generate UP TO 6 Character vanity wallet! on: September 24, 2015, 07:22:38 AM
Or, you could use a vanity service that uses the split key technique like vanitypool.appspot.com. They will never know the private key to your vanity address.

Quote
How does this differ from other vanity address generators?

This website aims to generate vanity addresses without the need to trust a third party. This is done by using the properties of the ECDSA algorithm. Instead of using one private key, two are used. One is owned by you and never revealed to anyone, the second is the solution to your problem that can be broadcasted publicly. When you add them together, you get your vanity address. The trick is, one can generate this vanity address by knowing just your public key (which is safe to broadcast). For more info, check out the Stack Exchange.

Lol, funny. Girls don't bitcoin dude.
I have to disagree with you. I know at least two girls that do Bitcoin and one of them works for BlockTrail. Wink

Thanks! I've updated the OP.
4150  Other / Meta / Re: Changing my username on: September 23, 2015, 08:53:52 PM
changing the amount of btc required to become donator/VIP now will be rather unfair to the early donators/VIPs.
Plus, theymos has stated before that he won't do it.
4151  Other / Meta / Re: Changing my username on: September 23, 2015, 08:30:17 PM
So donator rank should cost 114 USD, correct?  Wink On August 19, 2011 when theymos posted the thread the price was 11.40 per coin
No. 10BTC as in, 10BTC at the current price, $2320.
4152  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] Silver Wallet - You pick! #5 on: September 23, 2015, 07:49:24 PM
0.21
This is the highest bid at the moment.
4153  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinTalk User Account Assessment+ Account Price Estimate on: September 23, 2015, 09:40:36 AM
i miss dzlatan.pw free service. now satoshiquiz seems like force us to donate/ give them a tips so sad.
Seriously? It's 0.001BTC ($0.23 right now) for a good service. I would have charged a lot more.
4154  Other / Meta / Re: Changing my username on: September 23, 2015, 05:56:37 AM
you can't change this unless you pay a donation of 50BTC Shocked
10BTC will do, no need for 50BTC. Anyway, theymos almost never changes usernames for someone (and why should he, it's your responsibility to pick a good name).

Just a tip, I feel that you should start by maybe decreasing the time to estimate how long I have to wait to get an estimate. As of right now, it's 21 minutes. Tongue
Actually someone submitted an account with more than 7K posts before you so it gave the time as 21 min. Anyways all the pending requests have been processed and you can view your account details at your link.
Sorry! That was me.
4157  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 22, 2015, 05:35:33 PM
It seems that a lot of the campaigns these days want to pay to an account you have on their website, then you have to login and withdrawal.  Sometimes that involves extra steps like giving out a phone number (in the case of bit-x) or other.  I know that I'm only interested in campaigns that are willing to pay to a btc address.  I wonder if it's worth it to add another column to the table.  I guess there are already a lot of columns, so maybe not.  But it's just an idea.
I might add it to the detailed section, but a whole new column is a bit too much if you ask me.

I got my 30th payment from Coinomat.com signature campaign today. It is definitely the best signature campaign I have ever joined. You should add a special ranking for long paying campaigns.
That's an easy answer: No. Long paying campaigns can always go scam, not payout, etc. I will not reward them for doing what they are supposed to do.

Great job for each other Smiley.
Maybe it is good to sort it by age, from the newest to the oldest what do you think?
That's what I used to do, people didn't like that. They wanted it to be sorted by term length, so that's what I did. It's still sorted by age within those terms though. So if a new weekly campaign is added, it will be the last one in the list of weekly campaigns. I hope this makes sense.

Mitchełł i know that you don't have much time, what do you think about a log (in [code}) to see what has been updated recently.
Did you read the full OP? If so, you would have seen the changelog section. Wink
4160  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: September 22, 2015, 01:27:26 PM
I am mainly doing this for Mitchell and me. We talked about me taking over the thread and this is the closest to me updating it whenever I see something coming up. This allows me to understand better how much work it is. Mitchell will probably double check everything once they have the time.
Just did. I'll do another check to be sure once I get home, but it looks fine right now (except that it wasn't sorted, but that isn't a problem). Grin
