Thanks for bringing it here to warn newbies about kinda scam.
It is obviously clear that the domain name is .xyz that is very cheap compares to others: .com, .org, .io. In last few years, many crypto projects use domain names with .io because it is cheaper than .com. I don't say that all projects have their domain names end with .xyz are scam but keep this indicator in mind guys. Beware of it and be more careful when you see a project with such domain name.
Back in the days, .tk used to be so prevalent. How times have changed.

the problem with this lottery and multiplyer thing is, that you can not proof if it is real or not (unless you win by yoursel). if in FreeBitcoin forum someone tells you he won the lottery or rolled the 10000 it could be the admin of FreeBitcoin. you can only believe there, no proof possible. I only once rolled a 10000 in my roller life and that was at finalautofaucet and the prize was ca. 20 Cents ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) - you can trust me. but i rolled 2 times the number one at cointiply - bad luck its not even a primenumber. Doesn't the CP Multiplier game have the provably fair button at the bottom? I don't really care about that since I don't like how it limits the tokens to just 10, 100 and 1,000 but usually the sites do inform how to verify the game results through a third-party or after the roll has ended. And 20 cents as the grand prize? Oh my, that's the saddest one I've heard of! I see. I would have thought CP would have put some weighting on it so they can make some money. Why else run a game like this?
They still earn, just without the house edge. If I bet 100 tokens 10 times and only won 40 tokens, CoinPotty keeps the 60 ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) And like what graham mentioned, their ads pay the bills so even a 5% isn't required.

This reminds me of a raffle by freebitco.in. Did anyone really won a lambo there? Or people are still trying their luck with that faucet, buying lottery tickets? Why do everyone raffle lambos, and not porsche or ferrari? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) And why exactly these kind of models? Urus looks more practical, yes still expensive imho. Yes, there was a winner there and he even held an AMA. But he opted for the 200 grand over the Lambo for obvious reasons.

Not only that, but you could probably make 50 posts per week writing the kinds of posts OP wrote. Members do what Google+ did in campaign threads all the time (at least they were doing it before I put the Services section on ignore, but I'm assuming things haven't changed much). It's not worth your time and effort to respond to an application, even if the campaign is clearly closed, the member isn't qualified, etc. They're probably not going to read what you write anyway.
I wouldn't rule out that all candidates won't read at all. Maybe some might re-visit that thread, scroll down and see someone or a bunch of participants quoting them. Nowadays, some campaign managers (including one managing the sig campaign I'm in) are not counting the posts made by the participants on those threads. Good move, I'd say.

^ I think OP is referring to main chain transactions from one wallet to the other, not exchange withdrawal. If you use Electrum make sure to use another tool to double check the fee, as sometimes the estimation can be messy.
But when the service we're using is charging high fees, we have no other choice. A faucet site I'm on charges over 15K sats for quick transactions, and 60% lesser for slower payments. Whew.

Really? I send Paypal for a small fixed fee and 2.9% fee on the charge,,, why are you paying 15%? You should try putting a bank account or card to your account first then send someone. Maybe the mode of refill is causing you 15%. But yes, if they add crypto, it will be likely only to fill or withdraw from PP.
Yeah, it was sent from a non-verified account (family member) to a verified one (mine). Because F&F was discontinued ages ago, there's nothing else I could choose besides sending the funds as a service. It was actually just a USD balance transfer, no refill involved.

I dont understand why he is showing his face xD
Maybe he's wearing a mask, just like using a fake name. The plot thickens.

I'm confused here? Why is this a scam? The house always wins and even major betting firms admit that upwards of 90% of their clients will end up losing money.
I don't think there's a house edge. It's either 1- 500 (Lo) and 501 - 1000 (Hi).

What's a USB?

Well, that's Lightning network to you ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Glad you got it sorted out.

Eddie Miroslav is fake surname. I dont know why he hide his real name if he is making live streams xD His real name is Edward Craven.
Guess that he doesn't want those who lost their savings playing on Stake to go banging on his door, I guess ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Exactly! They will only milk it for all its worth and hit us with massive fees. They obviously must want a piece of the crypto market pie.
Well, I wouldn't be surprised if their fees structure are similar to those cutthroat competitors like BitPay ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

- Do you think such ads would be necessary to mass adoption of Bitcoin?
Unlike eWallets, buying and selling Bitcoin still isn't an easy process especially with the elderly. Downloading a wallet out of the many varieties without getting scammed, setting it up, purchasing it from some exchange (lucky if no KYC is actually needed), scan using QR code or copy and paste the address. Gonna take more than just promoting.

What is this? Where did you get this?
That's the command from Reddit to withdraw the amount, I guess.

You guys also should post a guideline on how to lock a topic. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Btw this is how to lock the topic. @OP go left bottom of this thread, you will find two buttons. move and unlock. So if your problem already solved and You no need any more info/answer about this case, then you should lock your topic by clicking on the lock button. here is a screenshot. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.postimg.cc%2FCLSFKc06%2FScreenshot-1.jpg&t=664&c=LyMdDI3jekQ61w) tranthidung did mention it ("Lock topic at the bottom left") but most of the time, the OP might overlook it especially with many new posts after that. Still, doesn't hurt to report as long as it's for a legit cause ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Anyone remembers 2019 ATH? I think we are close to it as it was around +12k or something. Passing it will be a good point in bitcoins history. I’ve noticed that bitcoin price grows for 2 week straight, without any super positive news and correction. Just a plain growth by itself. That is suspicious. I think the price needs to go back a bit.
Yeah, but it just happened and passed by in a blink of an eye. Before I could sell, it dropped again. Bitcoin, just like any other tradeable asset is manipulatable by the whales. We could only sit and watch.

Even if PayPal offers crypto trading, I wouldn't even bother using it.
Just to send from one account to another, I have to pay a hefty 15% surcharge.

I appreciate that this could be a room for growth and a stepping stone for new players. Although I think that doing faucets are kind of time consuming and have too little rebate.
Well, that's the point of faucets in the first place. Visit, click, wait, repeat. And they take less than 10 seconds, I don't see how that's considered time-consuming unless your income solely rely on them. On other websites, you get spammed with ads and redirects. Over here, none. Plus, we get RPs and tickets for the weekly lottery so it's already way better than other faucets out there to date.

alright the 'newbie can't change signature' stuff has been mentioned at least 3 times after the OP posts. if anyone want to continue spamming that post you should stop now.
If you want threads to be locked ASAP, report them. Because not all OPs know how to lock until someone guides them, provided they bother to even return to the thread. Anyway, I've reported it so it'd be locked sooner or later.
