I have no idea why Doug would expose himself like that.

Mind if you do the tldr version?

I dont catch most of it. All I've seen on the video was that instead of using multiple preflop chart like Dneg, he is only using one provided by his team . Lots of people have been using this and most of them are winning players in poker. If you play regularly and encounter lots of similar spot , you can basically execute the same action shown on those charts without even looking at it anymore

Personally I have ranges for pre-flop action, I don't use them to play only to study and compare how well I'm sticking to my range. I will review a spot after the hand has played if I was completely lost, but that's about as close to RTA as I get.

Isnt it necessary to have pre flop ranges on certain position? Thats what differ you from all those recreational players that only open hands based on " I think this is a good hand ". Of course this only applies to winning players and by winning players , I refer it to those that make their livings from poker by basically getting X amount each month instead of 'gambling' with it

Anyone that take win for Southampton this time will only be at big loss, in the last 8 matches, no win, only 2 draw and lost the rest which means they lost 6 matches.

Im not sure where you got this 2 draws from from but this is not correct. Out of the last 8 matches( FA Cup included ), Southampton won once, had a draw once and lose in 6 matches. Out of the last 8 EPL matches, Southampton had a draw once and lose in 7 matches

very possible for Southampton to relagate, the bad chance of relegation is slim but possible if Southampton do not pickup.

Its quite unlikely to happen but yeah it is not impossible to happen but out of 4 matches scheduled in March, Southampton most likely going to win atleast 2 out of 4 so yeah they will be getting some points to make sure that they had enough points to avoid the bottom three
4143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: February 23, 2021, 10:44:45 PM
@Trofo @hilarious: Leeds-Southampton definitely BTTS, I'm just wondering if it'll be a win or draw, as both might like to share points. Sportsbet has a correct score boost of 20% so I might throw something down on 1:1... though the likeliest score according to the odds is a 1:0 Leeds outcome...

It wasnt BTTS and Southampton continue their bad streak

Well done webtricks and hahay for getting the 2nd Yellow Cap in this pool. 13 rounds left for this season and Tomahawk9 still stands comfortably on top . Quick search in Superbru's leaderboard shows that Tomahawk9 has been sitting on top since the 5th round and hasnt step down yet for 21 rounds in a row. That kind of consistency of getting atleast average or above average points every round is an impressive feat  Smiley

This leaderboard is updated until 25th round

-snip-

Im not going to continue this conversation with you because it seems to be derailing the thread from its proper discussion but this was announced during the bullish season and currently btc is going through bearish season so most alts ( including FUN ) would be taking hits as well. It probably could be a different story if it wasnt a bullish season though

It sucks when we lose and in this case it really sucks when you have to cut loss because the price is tanking  Smiley
4145  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk poker series #2 hosted by Betnomi on: February 23, 2021, 05:28:17 PM
I'm curious about the notes too, but I myself don't do that.

I'm waiting for the details! I wonder how my bluff looks from the side (maybe I'll reconsider my tactics). Wink

This would defeat the purposes of having personal notes though  Tongue . I had a note for one of our regular players like this

Quote
80 % of the time if Bet on the river with high sizing = bluff

I Wont name the person because he is most likely going to change the way he plays on the river so yeah having these personal notes are great to get an edge over the other players . Its more like I cant really remember everything though so I had to make a note lol
4146  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: February 23, 2021, 12:50:07 PM
When can I expect to be bullish? All freebitco.in userbase knows about the program. When can you expect they are going to buy more than now? Freebitco.in userbase isn't able to drive the price up and they are not going to buy more in six months than now.

Everybody know about the rewards program already. This is not about being emotional. This is a rational argument. Freebitco.in demand isn't able to drive the price up in the first weeks and the main argument to think that the price was going to appreciate was that they freebitco.in userbase would drive it up as it was announced and I already quoted in this same thread some pages ago.

On the contrary, the price of the FUN token has been going up ever since it was introduced on the platform but this is not a newly minted token, it has existed for 2 years that means there are several bag holders even before freebitcoin started to announce this on their platform. Those bag holders were probably taking profit from the hype and sold of their stash

Some people are also buying those token to enjoy the early benefit of getting those perks after the grand launch on March so most of them doesnt really care about the price unlike you

This is not about being emotional. On the contrary, this is about being very rational.

Yes you are, if you are being rational then there is no point for you to complain about it because you take your own risk and has sold off your stash.

Regarding the FUN token, I see it quite wrong. Today it is even going down in $ terms. I think all of us who buy are at a clear loss whether we reference it to the Bitcoin or the dollar.

Basically every other altcoins is going down because of btc price dropped down

And I also think this is not what the Freebitco.in team expected.

Im pretty sure that they are aware of this, you cant expect it to be bullish for the whole year isnt it?

I invested in the token, and it is the only time I have invested in a shitcoin, because Freebitco.in is behind the project, but I plan to cut losses on March 15 and forget about it.

I thought you are a long term investor and would hold it for around a year? Tongue. Every coin / token is basically a shitcoin unless you are getting profit from it and not everyone is a winner in crypto market

Not really, I am a long term investor. Both in the stock market and in Bitcoin. As I said in previous posts, my initial idea was to hold the tokens for around a year at least but I couldn't have imagined such a bad start.
4148  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk poker series #2 hosted by Betnomi on: February 22, 2021, 08:06:53 PM
Oh, the cancellation of the Sunday game was good news for me personally. It turns out, having gone on a Sunday fishing trip, I didn't miss anything.

It seems most people wont make it last Sunday so yeah I guess it was a good thing that it was cancelled. By the way, Yahoo said that the we are going to hold the tournament on Wednesday, not sure if this is a final decision yet but I'd figured to let you know about it because you are not on the telegram group.

Edit : sorry misunderstood it, the tournament will be up on Wednesday but we will play it on Sunday

Am I alone interested in the content of game notes?

Lol I am curious as well and I had notes for every one of you . Mostly your bluff and action from flop to river
4149  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: February 22, 2021, 05:47:52 PM
Btw let's say that i going to buy 5000 token , which way is better ? from exchange or from official site

If you dont mind the price drop after btc crash then simply purchase it right away from the site but if you concern about it then purchase it from exchange. The downside would be that you wouldnt be able to enjoy those benefits after they are launched at March but 2018 crash made most alts drop more than 60% of their value so this could be one of a hell of a drop in case btc crash

Aside from the price issue because we might be in a bearish market soon, there are tons more benefits to purchase it from the site though

let's say i have 5k token , but i do not have any BTC amount on it , will i still any interest ?

No
4150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 21, 2021, 10:13:19 PM
Liverpool dropped to nearly 7th place and Tottenham is at 9th place now, it is really looking like things are going to really change a lot very soon in premier league for good.

This is what makes the league interesting. Back when the league started, Everyone keep saying that Liverpool will dominate the entire league once again and Manchester United would be sitting at 7th at most

but let's face it liverpool didn't dominated the league right?

Liverpool is not but it still too early to exclude them from the race just yet. It will be a hard to win the league for Liverpool but they could still get to top 4 atleast ( probably even win The champions League which is as good or even better than winning EPL, I think )

Salah who has been rumored for Real Madrid.

Probably not going to happen. Liverpool wouldnt be the same without Salah anymore
4151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: February 21, 2021, 09:36:28 PM
Im aiming for atleast 8 correct picks this week

So I guess mission accomplished for me. Look at how inconsistent my overall performance and following the pattern on the table, I probably will be one of the worst for two straight weeks before getting back on the top again Grin

rdbase was in danger of setting a new personal negative score, but ManU saved him - his average fell below 6 though.

Its rare occasion that we have almost consensus pick on Manchester United to win . Normally around 30 % would spread between draw or Newcastle to win. Hey @buwaytress put some faith on Manchester United  Cool . Newcastle is not going to win against United definitely not in Old Trafford
4152  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk poker series #2 hosted by Betnomi on: February 21, 2021, 06:33:20 PM
but zero ppl registered ... because we don't have passwords or ?  Huh

Password was provided in the telegram groupchat but I've encountered the same error we had in the 2nd week so it is not possible to click on the register button. I think everyone encountered the same error as well so yeah we will postpone this one onto next week

-snip-

The hands equity might differ depending on what you are up against with. For example, JJ against AQo is around 56.72 % vs 42.88 % and 0.4% for a tie but JJ against AQs is around 53.91 % vs 45.68 % and 0.42 % for a tie

* This is just a rough estimation of the hand equity

I don't know how much are their expenses, but I bet this business is very profitable. If they don't want to manage it anymore, I'm sure they could find someone to do it, pay them generously and still make a lot of money. Just closing it seems like the worst possible option.

Its the best possible option for everyone. If Ethan doesnt want to run it anymore then there is no reason to continue the site at all because the players trust Ethan not some 3rd party to run the site

I think that selling it may be hard as unless the buyer is very well known (imagine it was bought by Bustabit for example), both players and investors may prefer going somewhere else.

Why would another gambling site purchase this site? There is no reason in doing it at all because all of those players in YOLOdice would be searching for another site to play after 15th March so all of the other site would be getting more potential loyal players even without having to purchase this site or do anything about it

-0.214 btc
-1.476 ltc
-98,889 doge

Thats over $17k down the drain with the current price. Part of the investing risk though
4154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: February 20, 2021, 11:08:46 PM
It looks like there are 4 of us that have 6 correct picks out of 10 matches so with maximum of 11 points in case anyone gets the last 5 correctly. Someone already had 8 correct pick on sportsbet's leaderboard and this is probably not the latest leaderboard update yet . Slim chances to stand on top and share the prizes but goodluck

So far this is the worse weekend I've never been this bad, all my picks played the opposite

Its fine, you will get used to this dissapointment. Most of us had it every single week  Tongue when we thought our slip would be good enough to secure atleast 10 correct picks , we ended up losing most of it
4155  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 suspending on 1st March 2021 :-( on: February 20, 2021, 09:58:56 PM
First Luckybit, now YoloDice very sad year for crypto gamblers.  Sad

The crypto gambling world is moving at a faster pace now with lots of new competitor though

For us though, dice games were much more fun when the cryptocurrency world was smaller

The early years was fun. Dice was pretty much the only game that everyone will be playing when they visit a crypto gambling site but this is no longer the case now especially with alot of new sites that have those appealing slots

But this responsibility has started affecting our lives in the way we had not anticipated

Anything to do with crypto's price skyrocketing from the last 2 months? With tons of coins in the investment, thats alot of money to be responsible for which is kinda scary in some sense. Anyway Ethan and Scott goodluck on whatever thing you guys want to do after you shut down the whole operation. Probably treat yourself ( and family ) to a great resort to cool thing off
4156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 20, 2021, 08:20:36 PM
it took Everton twenty one two long years to finally beat Liverpool at Anfield! AND last time Liverpool lost 4 consecutive home games was almost 100 years ago!!! https://twitter.com/OptaJoe/status/1363208162095075338

What the hell, man? the worst Liverpool in decades?? wtf is this?

Thats a really interesting facts you got there. Twenty two years to finally beat Liverpool at Anfield but too bad there wasnt any crowd to celebrate this with. I picked Liverpool in Superbru with a sole reason of Liverpool is not going to lose in this Derby definitely not in Anfield but oh well

-snip-
I think it was a coincedence.

Atletico played with the best of the best today, an extremely offensive team, very uncommon from Simeone, and they ultimately paid the price. Tuchel put the best starting XI he had available and still couldn't get past the Saints defence...I find it very unlikely that both teams would throw a match for the CL, especially when one of them is the league leader while other is fighting to stay in the top 4

Probably it was a pure coincidence but so far Tuchel hasnt lose a single match yet with Chelsea and Chelsea was playing against Southampton with 5 losses in a row in EPL . Normally getting a draw is good enough but against a team that has lose 5 times in a row, that would be considered as a 'bad' results. its definitely is a weird result but I guess this is what makes EPL interesting huh
4157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 20, 2021, 05:44:09 PM
Oh! Can't believe Chelsea is about retracing there steps as with Frank Lampard and now, Thomas Tuchel! Consistency had always been the problem of Chelsea and i hope this is not another inconsistency on the way for Chelsea because, Chelsea ought to be winning all there games now to be at the top 4 in the EPL.

You know what, Thomas Tuchel hasnt lose a single match yet with Chelsea and if this isnt being consistent then I dont know what is. You cant really expect Chelsea to win every match and also their main focus at this point would be to win The Champions League because there is only a slim chance left for Chelsea to top the board in EPL

Fun fact : Chelsea will play against Atletico Madrid in Champions League. Both Chelsea and Atletico Madrid didnt win their match today, you think this is a coincidence? I think Tuchel probably trying to preserve his team's stamina for the upcoming match  Roll Eyes

Ah and Leeds let me down tonight. They actually did score, but for Wolves. So out of luck on bets tonight, out of luck on predictions.

Lucky own goal for Wolves but I guess that settles it

Over 20 shots shared between both teams though

Actually over 30 goal attempts for both team combined. I guess this is what happens when there are two aggresive teams with both decent offense but lame defence play against each another because they kinda negated each another

Today we have great games in Premier League. The leader Manchester City will play with Arsenal.

Actually Sunday though

If they lose some points this might be the game. I believe all other team supporters are hoping for Arsenal to win the game or at least get a draw so City wouldn't stay alone at the top.

To be honest this is what I would love to see but I know that this is not going to happen. I dont see any other team out there that could match with Manchester City right now, probably Chelsea
4160  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk poker series #2 hosted by Betnomi on: February 19, 2021, 06:16:02 PM
Idk, what about A5s or A8s? Imo, those are playable pocket cards.

Those definitely are a good hands to be played on your position but judging from the check check on flop and turn shows that most likely you dont have a 5 or 8. Yeah someone could have check flop check turn with a 5 but most likely not going to jam on the river but would be value betting most of the time

Yeah, hope he'll show up here telling us what he really had. Smiley

He probably had forgotten about it already because he plays alot on swc and probably some other site as well  Tongue
